Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud membuktikan adanya pengaruh buku cerita bergambar berkaitan dengan pengetahuan manajemen bencana anak. Adapun metode penelitiannya merupakan eksperimen dengan bentuk quasi eksperimental design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling dengan jumlah 48 anak yang berada pada usia 5-6 tahun. Data pengetahuan manajemen bencana anak dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes pengetahuan tentang manajemen bencana. Adapun hasil dari studi ditemukan pengaruh buku cerita bergambar berkenaan dengan pengetahuan manajemen bencana pada anak. Dengan nilai thitung= 25,790 dan probabilitas sig t= 0,000. Buku cerita bergambar memberikan pengaruh terhadap pengetahuan manajemen bencana pada anak sebesar 55,94%. Kebaruan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya memperkenalkan manajemen bencana kepada anak usia dini melalui sumber bacaan yang memiliki gambar sehingga pesan yang terdapat pada buku tersebut dapat tersampaikan dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan suatu media edukasi perlindungan anak untuk mengurangi perilaku kekerasan pada anak. Perlindungan anak merupakan permasalahan yang harus mendapatkan perhatian dari setiap pihak. Untuk meningkatkan perlindungan terhadap anak diperlukan suatu media edukasi yang dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh setiap pihak, baik oleh orang tua, guru, maupun anak tersebut. Media edukasi yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah dalam bentuk buku cerita bergambar. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi oleh tiga orang ahli diperoleh hasil sebesar 95% dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji lapangan pada 15 orang tua, 14 orang guru, dan 11 orang anak juga diketahui bahwa media edukasi buku bergambar sangat baik dan dapat dipahami dari segi cover, isi, dan tampilan buku cerita. berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita seri perlindungan anak sangat baik, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua, guru, dan anak tentang perlindungan anak sehingga dapat mengurangi perilaku kekerasan pada anak.

Abstract

Abstract:  Based on field observations of the initial reading ability of students they begin to develop, some children can not distinguish between some letters that are similar, children are still difficult to connect tehe sound of the two letters into words, some children are still facing difficulties in connecting images with simple words, as well as reading picture books that have a simple sentence, and there are some children who can not read his own full name. So that the learning should be given in the form of imaginative play. This study aims to determine the effect of playing back a chain letter on early reading skills of children ages 5-6 years in TK Annur Sari Kuantan Singingi. Samples used in this study were 22 children. The data collection techniques are observation. Data analysis techniques using t-test using SPSS 20. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant influence back chain letters game on early reading skills of children ages 5-6 years in TK Annur Sari Kuantan Singingi. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained t= 8,182 bigger than t table= 2,021 with a 5% error level. So it means, Ho= rejected and Ha= eccepted. It means in this study are the effect of early reading skills of children  before and after palying back a chain letter in TK Annur Sari Kuantan Singingi. Testing the effect of playing back a chain letter to the child’s early reading skills using n-gain formula indicates the magnitude of the effect is 52%, which is medium category.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a high potential for natural disasters. Picture story book is a form of disaster management learning that can help children from an early age to prepare for a natural disaster. The aims of this study to develop story books as a disaster management learning media, to improve knowledge and skills of children and teacher about the understanding, principles, and actions of rescue when facing the natural disasters, to increase the teacher’s learning quality in disaster management. Developmental research approach is used to execute the study. A total of 48 children aged 5-6 years have to carry out pre-test and post-test. Pre-test data shows that children's knowledge about disaster management with an average of 47.92% and its improved at post-test with 76,88%. Five theme of story books involves floods, landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, lands and forest fires is the product. Dissemination of five story books are proper for children and improve their understanding of disaster management. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the impact of child protection education on increasing parents' and teachers' knowledge of child abuse. The problem addressed is the low level of understanding among parents and teachers regarding child protection concepts, which affects the lack of preventive actions against child abuse in family and school environments. The method used was an experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach involving 40 participants, including parents and teachers. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring participants' knowledge before and after the educational intervention. The pretest results showed that participants' knowledge was in the low category (50.13%). After the education program, the posttest results increased to 88.67%, indicating a high category. These findings suggest that education successfully enhances understanding of child protection, covering children's rights and responsibilities, community roles, and related legal procedures. The conclusion is that child protection education programs are effective in raising awareness and knowledge among parents and teachers, thus promoting a safer and more supportive environment for children's development.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effect of Riau Malay Culture-based Digital Books (BuDi SDaYU) on improving the prosocial behaviour of children aged 5-6 years at Pembina 02 State Kindergarten Kampar. Using a quantitative approach with a true experimental design of the pretest-posttest control group design, 46 children were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument was a prosocial behaviour observation sheet, with data analysis using an independent sample t-test and a paired sample t-test. The results of the paired t-test in the experimental class reveal a significant increase (t count = 26.184; Sig. 0.000 <0.05), and the posttest comparison between groups reveals a significant difference (t count = 8.400; Sig. 0.000 <0.05). The normalised gain value of 63.40% indicates the effectiveness of BuDi SDaYU in the moderate category. Thus, it can be concluded that this media is effective for the prosocial behaviour of early childhood through integrating Riau Malay cultural values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of the interactive book CERIA on the listening skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK PG LAB FKIP Universitas Riau. The research background is the children’s low listening skills, especially in paying attention, understanding the content, and the ability to repeat and answer questions from the story. The research used a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design with 16 children as subjects. Data were collected through observation and analysed using the t-test and N-Gain calculation. The results reveal a significant increase in listening skills after treatment, with a t value of 20.708 and a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). The N-Gain value reveals an effectiveness of 53.88%. These results indicate that the interactive book CERIA is effective as an innovative learning medium to improve the listening skills of early childhood children.

Abstract

Membaca adalah kemampuan untuk menggabungkan bahasa lisan dengan bahasa tertulis dan akuisisi kosa kata. Jika anak Anda pandai belajar kosa kata, mereka akan memahami pentingnya surat yang Anda lihat. Kemampuan membaca merupakan kemampuan untuk mengubah simbol pengucapan huruf atau secara verbal, untuk menggabungkan apa yang dikatakan seorang anak dengan simbol dalam bentuk huruf. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif eksperimen, berupa pemberian pretest-treatment-postest pada anak. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian melalui observasi dan pemberian LKA pada anak. Metode dalam menganalisis data penelitian yakni dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t, temuan penelitian menghasilkan t hitung sebesar 26,589 yang lebih tinggi dari 2,0687, menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa media tiket pintar berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK IT Insan Teladan Pekanbaru dapat diterima kebenarannya..  Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kemampuan membaca awal anak meliputi kemampuan anak untuk mengenal nama-nama huruf, baik yang berukuran besar maupun kecil. Selanjutnya, anak perlu dapat mengaitkan setiap huruf dengan bunyi tertentu, mengenal sejumlah “sight word” yang mendasar, dan memahami hubungan antara ucapan dan tulisan. Mereka juga perlu melihat keterkaitan antara huruf dan kata, antara kata dan kalimat, serta membaca dengan arah dari kiri ke kanan atau dari atas ke bawah.

Abstract

Anak usia dini berada pada masa tumbuh kembang yang sangat penting sebagai fondasi Pendidikan selanjutnya. Jika pada masa ini anak diberikan stimulasi dan pendidikan yang tepat dan sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan, maka anak akan menjadi lebih matang baik secara fisik maupun psikologis. Oleh karna itu negara memiliki kewajiban untuk memberikan pelayanan pendidikan yang bermutu pada setiap warga negara tanpa terkecuali termasuk anak-anak yang memiliki perbedaan kemampuan, fisik, mental, emosional dan sosial dengan anak yang memiliki potensi kecerdasan pada umumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Sbc (Smart Blind Children) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak tunanetra di SLB Negeri Pembina Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data yang digunakan melalui observasi. Hasil menunjukan peningkatan signifikan setelah perlakuan, dengan mayoritas anak berada pada kategori berkembang sangat baik. Media ini terbukti efektif sebagai media edukatif yang membantu anak usia dini tunanetra dalam mengenal huruf. Penelitian ini menunjukan signifikan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak usia dini tunanetra di SLB Negeri Pembina setelah menggunakan media Sbc (Smart Blind Childrean). Sebelum perlakuan, anak-anak berada pada kriteria belum berkembang dan setelah perlakuan, meningkatkan menjadi berkembang sangat baik. Pengaruh media ini mencapai 77.00%.
