Abstract: This research was based on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur. There were only 13 of 24 students (54,17%) who achieve the Mastery Minimum Criteria on topic about using the measuring tool in problem solving and the learning process is still teacher centered. This research is action research which aims to increase the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur through the implentation of cooperative learning in type student team achievement division (STAD). The subject is 24 students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur which consist of 10 boys and 14 girls with the heterogenous ability level. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and test of mathematic learning outcomes. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the test of mathematic learning outcomes was analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed that there is an improvement of the previous learning process to the first and second cycle. The result showed an increasing number of students who achieve the Mastery Minimum Criteria from the basic score with the percentage 54,17% to 75% on the first daily test and 83,33% on the second daily test. Based on that result, it can be concluded that the implentation of Cooperative Learning in type student team achievement division (STAD) can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 25 Bagan Melibur on second semester academic year 2014/2015. Abstract: This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase mathematics achievement from the students with applied discovery learning model. The subject of this research is the students of class XI MIA 1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru at the first semester in academic year 2018/2019, which total of participants are 31 students, consists of 11 male students and 20 female students with heterogeneous ability. This research has two cycles. Each cycle has four meetings and one test. The instruments used in this research were learning instruments and the instruments of collecting data. The learning instruments used include syllabus, lesson plan, and student work sheets, while the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and learning outcome test. The data analysis of students and teacher activity showed that the learning process has improved after the discovery learning model being implemented. The data of the student’s evaluation test showed that the persentage of students reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) increase from the basic score to first test, from first test to second test. The results of this research showed an increasing of students achievement where the basic score 29,0% to the first test 48,4%, the second test 74,2%. For the skills achievement score of the first test 71,0%, the second test 90,3%. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of discovery learning model can improve learning process and increase student’s mathematics achievement at class XI MIA 1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru.

Abstract: This research aimed to develop mathematics with computer-based learning media model tutorial interactive model for SMA grade XI subject probability. This research and development use development model ADDIE. Development is done through the following steps: (1) analysis; (2) design; (3) development; (4) implementation and evaluation. At the stage of analysis, the researcher conducted a needs analysis included Core Competence (CC) - Basic Competence (BC) analysis, problems of students analysis, and materials analysis. Then, researcher collect materials to design learning media. Learning media that had been developed validated by five validators and revised based on the input from validators. Validation of media appraise aspects of curiculum, learning, display, program. The valid learning media then tested in two stages, the small group test with subjects are five students of class XI MIPA SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru and large group test with subjects are 30 students of class XI MIPA SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the mathematics learning media based computer tutorial interactive model for SMA grade XI subject probability are valid, and obtain good responses from students class XI.Keywords: Computer-based Learning Media, Research and Development, Probability

Abstract: This research based on the student’s mathematics achievement in class IX7 of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, there are 12 of 32 students who achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria or 37,5% for similarity lesson. This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics achievement by applying the model of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques. The subject of this research were the students in class IX7 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, there are 32 students with heterogeneous level of academic capabilities. This research is a class action research by two cycles. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative, while the student’s mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative. The qualitative descriptive showed that there is the improvement of learning process after the action on the first and second cycles. The result showed that there is an increase in student’s achievement from the basic score with the percentage 37,5% to 56,25% on the first test and 78,1% on the second test. Based on the result of this research, can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques can improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics achievement class IX7 of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru by the academic years 2014/2015. Abstract: The background of this research is the lack of student’s textbook that introduced regional resources to students in accordance with the demands of 2013 curriculum.This research purposed is to develop student’s textbook in the form of books that introduce regional resources to students by introducing traditional games of Riau malay. This research is a research and development (R&D) that using 4-D model which consists of 4 stages define, design, develop and dissemination, but in this research is only carried out until the development stage . The instrument used in this research is a validation sheet to assess the validity of textbook. Based on the results of validation data analysis the average rating for the textbook is 3.57 with a very valid category. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion it can be concluded that mathematic student’s textbook developed that using the traditional games of Riau malay on rectangular and triangular has fulfilled valid criteria.Keywords: Mathematics Learning, Mathematic Student’s Textbook, Riau Malay Traditional Games, 4-D Development Model

Abstract:This researches was a classroom action research which aims to improve the performance of teacher and improving the student mathematic achievement. This researches implemented the cooperative learning by using structure approach of numbered head together (NHT) at class VII.2 SMPN 5 Tambang academic year 2015/2016. This learning used identification number of students in order to increase the responsibility of students during the learning process. The data in this study consisted of the activity data on learning process and the data of student mathematic achievement. The activity data were collected by using teacher observation sheet and student observation sheets while the data of student mathematic achievement were collected by using test. These data were analyzed descriptively. The data analyzed showed that activities of students and teacher is getting better. The teacher done reflection after learning to improve the previous weakness. The student mathematic achievement increased by observing the achievement of KKM. The percentage of students who achieved KKM on cycle 1 was 54.16% and 75.00% in cycle 2. There was improvement of student mathematics achievement because the percentage of student who achieved KKM before action was only 33.33%. It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning by using structure approach of numbered head together (NHT) can improve student mathematic achievement at class VII.2 SMPN 5 Tambang.KeyWord : Students’ Math Achievement, Cooperative Learning Model Structural Approach of Numbered Heads Together, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract: The background of this study is the lack of ICT-based learning media especially on geometry in the topic of circle. The topic of circle has potency to be developed visually by using a computer device to facilitate students to understand this topic. This study used Borg and Gall’s model that was modified by Sugiyono. The aim of this study is to develop valid and practical ICT-based media for learning mathematics to facilitate the 8th grade junior high school students to understand the topic of circle. The subjects were 35 students at 8th grade Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru. The instruments used were a questionnaire sheet for content validation, media validation and student responses. The questionnaires sheets were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The analyzed data and discussion showed that ICT-based media for learning mathematics is valid with an average score of 3.16 by content validator and 2.85 by media validator. This media is also qualified and practical with an average of student responses was 0.98 on a small group test and 0.93 in the big group.Key Word : Instructional Media, ICT-based Media, Learning Mathematics.

Abstract : Computer based media for learning mathematics on quadrilateralsand triangles topics is using worksheet. Worksheet is using by student for write solution,so that student work can be seen by teacher. The topics of quadrilaterals and triangleshas potency to be developed vissually by using a computer device to fasilitate studentsto understand this topics. The research model used is a research and developmentmodel adapted according to Borg and Gall. The aim of this research is to develop validand practical computer based media for learning mathematics using worksheet onquadrilaterals and triangles for seventh grade. The subjects were 23 students at 7thgrade Junior High School Metta Maitreya Pekanbaru. The instruments used were amaterial validation sheet, media validation sheet, and student response questionnaire.The analyzed data and disccusion showed that computer based media for learningmathematics using worksheet is valid with an average score of 3,50 by materialvalidator and 3,99 by media validator. Abstract: This research is based on the learning process and the students achievement in learning mathematics in class X MIA 3 of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru, there are 20 of 36 students who achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria or 55,56% for exponent and logarithm lesson. The type of this research is classroom action research. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and increase mathematical understanding by implementing discovery learning. The subject of this research were the students in class X MIA 3 ofSMAN 4 Pekanbaru consist of 16 boys and 20 girls at the first semester of academic year 2014/2015. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and mathematical understanding tests.The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative descriptive.The qualitative descriptive showed that there is the improvement of learning process after the action on the first and second cycles. The result showed that there is an increase the mathematical understanding of students with the score N-gain is 0,34 in the first cycle and 0,46 in the second cycle at medium classification. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of discovery learning can increase the mathematical understanding of students in class X MIA 3 of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru in the first semester of academic year 2014/2015. Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve of learning process and to improve mathematics achievement with applied the learning cooperative model Think Pair Square (TPS). The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The subject of this research is student of class VII4 SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019, which total of 42 students, 18 boys and 24 girls. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitatively, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitatively. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process after to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and active in learning process, they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing of students achievement where the basic score (33,33 %) to the first test (42,85 %), the second test II (59,25 %). For the achievement of score the first test (50 %), the second test (61,90 %). Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning cooperative model Think Pair Square (TPS) can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement of the students at class VII4 SMPN 25 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019 for the subject matter algebraic form.Key Words: Mathematics Achievement, Learning Cooprative Model Think Pair Square (TPS)
