Abstract

Adolescents are in a transition period from childhood to adulthood. Physically, teenagers can be said to be mature but psychologically or mentally immature. Jambi Province is 8.2% for the prevalence of thinness in adolescents aged 16-18 years. The importance of consuming nutritious foods has an impact on adolescent health in the future. Lack of consumption of fruit and vegetables can result in various impacts, namely decreased immunity, such as getting flu easily, easily experiencing stress or depression, high blood pressure, digestive disorders such as constipation, bleeding gums, mouth ulcers, eye problems, wrinkled skin, arthritis, osteoporosis, acne, excess blood cholesterol, and cancer. The nutritional content contained in pineapple includes vitamins B6, B1 and vitamin C as well as folic acid. Abstract

Teenagers are one of the focuses of government intervention in national action to tackle stunting. The first 1000 days of life, starting from conception until the 2nd age, is a critical time for optimal mother and child nutrition. Indonesian teenagers experience three nutritional problems, namely shortness (2.5%), too thin (8%), obesity (15%), and anemia (23%). Based on Minister of Health Regulation Number 39 of 2016, one of the efforts made to reduce the prevalence of stunting is to increase education and counseling for clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and balanced nutritional patterns in adolescents. Handling and preventing anemia can be done by consuming foods that contain vitamins and minerals which support the formation of red blood cells as prevention, fortifying foodstuffs with iron, and iron supplementation. Consume a variety of foods rich in iron, folate, vitamin B12 and vitamin C. Apart from that, additional iron intake is also provided from blood supplement tablets (TTD). This PkM activity will be held in September 2024 with a total of 43 participants. The method used in this PkM is to provide health workers, midwife training and cadre training. The instrument used to measure knowledge uses a questionnaire. The duration of this PkM activity is 8 hours per meeting session. The results of community service activities were the formation of anti-anemia youth cadres to prevent stunting (Ranting), increasing knowledge of teenagers, namely 81.5%, teenage cadres 81% and village midwives 21%. The conclusion is that in implementing this community service, there is an increase in knowledge among youth groups, youth cadres and village midwives, as well as the formation of anti-anemia youth cadres to prevent stunting (Ranting).

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

MSMEs in the Mualaf Baduy Village, Lembah Barokah, Ciboleger, have great potential in producing brown sugar, but still face challenges in terms of branding and marketing. One of the main obstacles is the packaging that is not attractive and not environmentally friendly, so it is less competitive in the wider market. This community service activity aims to provide training in packaging innovation using dried banana leaves as an environmentally friendly alternative to increase product appeal and strengthen MSME branding. The implementation method includes socialization of the importance of packaging, practice of making packaging based on dried banana leaves, and digital-based marketing assistance. The results of the activity showed an increase in partners' understanding of the importance of packaging in branding, as well as success in implementing new packaging that is more attractive and has high selling value. With this innovation, the brown sugar products of the Mualaf Baduy Village MSMEs are expected to be more competitive in the local and national markets.
