Abstract

This article analyzes the ethical and legal complexities surrounding adoption laws, focusing on the rights of biological parents in the adoption process. Through a review of adoption policies from various countries, the study explores issues such as consent, open vs. closed adoption, and post-adoption contact. Findings suggest that balancing the rights of biological parents with the best interests of the child requires nuanced legal frameworks.

Abstract

Preoperative visits have become part of clinical practice in many hospitals. Preoperative visits aim to provide information to patients about the surgical and anesthesia procedures that will be performed. This study aims to explore the relationship between preoperative visits and patient satisfaction to improve the quality of health services. This research method uses an observational descriptive approach through questionnaires to elective surgery patients at Dustira Hospital Cimahi. There were 543 patients undergoing surgery under anesthesia during April 2024, while 215 patients met the inclusion criteria and completed the questionnaire. Based on the sample characteristics, the majority of patients were women (54.9%), followed by the age group of 31-45 years (44.2%), undergoing major surgery (63.3%), and general anesthesia (57.2%). Patient satisfaction levels, when correlated with sample characteristics, showed that highly satisfied patients were male, aged 46-60 years, underwent minor surgery, and received general anesthesia, while other groups were at satisfactory levels. Patient satisfaction based on the questionnaire showed that most patients were satisfied with the service, with the highest order being satisfied (55.8%), followed by highly satisfied (37.4%), neutral (13.5%), and dissatisfied (8.1%). Patients felt satisfied and highly satisfied with anesthesia and surgical services, while no patients felt dissatisfied. This condition indicates that preoperative visits can increase patient satisfaction

Abstract

Latar Belakang: isu kesehatan menjadi prioritas utama dari setiap negara berkembang dikarenakan masih terbatasnya tenaga kesehatan serta sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki oleh fasilitas kesehatan. Penggunaan solusi e-health dan telemedicine dapat mengatasi keterbatasan sumberdaya kesehatan di Indonesia. Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang e-health sangat penting dalam mengoptimalkan pemberian layanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat melalui e-health. Salah satu tindakan yang dapat dilakukan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan e-health adalah penerapan sistem pendaftaran online. Namun demikian masih ada masyarakat yang belum menerapkan sistem pendaftaran online karena kurang memahami dan kurang berminat menggunakan sistem tersebut. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap dengan penerapan e-health dalam sistem pendaftaran online. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap dengan penerapan sistem pendaftaran online. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan sampel masyarakat Desa Kateguhan RT 02 RW 07 Kabupaten Sukoharjo yang berusia 25-50 tahun, sejumlah 50. Analisis data menggunakan analisa bivariat dengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan sikap terhadap sistem pendaftaran online (p=0,003), ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan penerapan sistem pedaftaran online (p=0,025), dan ada hubungan antara sikap dengan penerapan sistem pendaftaran online (p=0,009). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap dengan penerapan sistem pendaftaran online.   Kata kunci: e-health, sistem pendaftaran online, tingkat pengetahuan, sikap   Background: health issues are the top priority of every developing country due to the limited health workers and facilities and infrastructure owned by health facilities. The use of e-health and telemedicine solutions can overcome limited health resources in Indonesia. Public knowledge about e-health is very important in optimizing the delivery of health services to the community through e-health. One of the actions that the community can take in utilizing e-health is the implementation of an online registration system. However, it is known that there are still people who have not implemented an online registration system because they do not understand and are less interested in using the system. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes with the application of e-health in the online registration system. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude with the implementation of the online registration system. This study is a correlational study with a sample of Kateguhan Village community RT 02 RW 07 Sukoharjo Regency aged 25-50 years, a total of 50. Data analysis using bivariate analysis with chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes towards the online registration system (p=0.003), there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and the application of the online registration system (p=0.025), and there was a relationship between attitudes and the application of the online registration system (p=0.009). Abstract

This research aims to analyze CAR, NPL, BOPO and LDR on profitability in BPRs in the Semarang city area. The population of this research is the quarterly financial reports of BPR Semarang city for the 2019-2022 period. The sample in this research is the quarterly financial report of BPR Semarang city. Using the convenience sampling technique, a research sample of 82 observations of quarterly financial reports was obtained. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results show that CAR has no positive effect on ROA, while NPL and BOPO have a negative effect on ROA, and LDR has a positive effect on ROA. The results of this research can be used by OJK to help maintain financial system stability and protect customers by increasing the effectiveness of supervision. Apart from that, it can also formulate more effective policies in encouraging the growth and profitability of BPR, so that ultimately it can increase public trust in the financial sector.

Abstract

The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) in education has emerged as a promising approach to enhance learning experiences by making content more interactive and engaging. This study investigates the impact of AR-based learning technology on student motivation and learning outcomes in secondary schools. Using a quasi-experimental design, 120 students were divided into an experimental group, which used AR tools, and a control group, which received traditional instruction. Results showed that students in the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in both academic performance and motivation compared to the control group. The study highlights the potential of AR technology to transform traditional teaching methods and suggests that AR can be a valuable tool in fostering deeper understanding and sustained interest in learning. These findings provide insights into the effectiveness of AR in educational settings and underscore the need for further research to explore its long-term impact and broader applications.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of online learning in enhancing learning independence and critical thinking skills among higher education students. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research was conducted over a semester with 200 undergraduate students, divided into an experimental group engaged in online learning and a control group receiving traditional instruction. The findings revealed that the experimental group exhibited significant improvements in both learning independence and critical thinking skills compared to the control group. Qualitative data further supported these results, highlighting the benefits of autonomy, flexibility, and interactive content in online learning. However, challenges related to maintaining student motivation were also identified, indicating the need for more engaging and supportive online learning environments. These findings suggest that, while online learning can effectively foster essential academic skills, careful consideration must be given to course design to maximize its benefits.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digital game-based learning on the improvement of students' social skills within the context of hybrid education. A quasi-experimental design was used, involving 60 students from Universitas Pendidikan Nusantara, divided into an experimental group (n = 30) and a control group (n = 30). The experimental group engaged in a 6-week game-based learning intervention using the digital game "EduQuest," while the control group followed traditional face-to-face instruction. Data were collected using a Social Skills Scale (SSS), collaborative observations, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The results show a significant improvement in social skills in the experimental group, particularly in the areas of teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution (p < 0.01). In contrast, the control group showed no significant change in their social skills. Additionally, students in the experimental group reported high levels of engagement and satisfaction with the game-based learning approach. This study highlights the potential of digital game-based learning as an effective tool to enhance social skills in hybrid educational settings. The findings suggest that integrating digital games into learning can provide a valuable avenue for fostering collaboration and communication skills among students.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) menyatakan bahwa remaja merupakan masyarakat yang berada di rentang usia 10 sampai 19 tahun. Adapun, menurut Peraturan Kesehatan RI Nomor 25 tahun 2014, remaja didefinisikan sebagai penduduk dalam rentang usia 10-18 tahun dan menurut Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana (BKKBN) rentang usia remaja adalah 10-24 tahun dan belum menikah. Remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari anak anak menuju dewasa. Peralihan dari usia remaja menuju dewasa merupakan masa yang penuh tantangan.Berbagai tantangan dalam kehidupan remaja dapat menyebabkan remaja mengalami masalah kesehatan mental. Diantaranya mengenai ansietas dan depresi pada remaja, kejadian bullying, body shaming, gangguan harga diri, dan sebagainya. Untuk mencegah terjadinya masalah-masalah tersebut diperlukan edukasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja mengenai cara mencegah dan mengatasi masalah kesehatan jiwa.  Pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Tridharma dosen yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan status kesehatan remaja khususnya kesehatan mental di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Bandung Barat. SMK Bandung Barat merupakan salah satu SMK memiliki berbagai jurusanKegiatan ini berisi pendidikan kesehatan mengenai topik kesehatan jiwa yang telah ditentukan dan disepakati oleh guru BK, dan dilanjutkan dengan salah satu intervensi terapi untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan jiwa tersebut. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah kelas Fase E, yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Pada kegiatan ini juga dilakukan pengukuran pre dan post pendkes dan terapi untuk mengukur pengetahuan/kondisi kesehatan jiwa siswa. Setelah kegiatan ini didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa mengenai kesehatan mental meningkat dan kondisi kesehatan mental siswa sedikit mengalami perubahan setelah dilakukan terapi. Berbagai topik pendkes dan terapi disarankan untuk dilanjutkan oleh pihak sekolah kepada siswa tahun ajar baru berikutnya dan ditindaklanjuti oleh guru BK.

Abstract

Licensing and optimization are regulated in Government Regulation No. 27 of 2014 on the management of state / regional property. Licensing is one of the most important aspects of land management for the legality of tenure, one of the productive activities in it is to make it an agricultural land. Unfortunately, in order to obtain licensing rights to agriculture is difficult to get, one example of the case that occurred is in the area of ​​ungaran Semarang regency. The difficulty of obtaining such permits can certainly lead to unoptimal use of unoccupied vacant land. In addition, the difficulty of licensing for agriculture will cause many losses for both the government and the farmers, such as the unoptimal agricultural activities of the area to be vulnerable to shift the land into non-agricultural functions, it is feared that farmers will be reluctant to bureaucratize the government. This study is expected to contribute to the increasing rules of use and management of deadly state property in the future.

Abstract

Tanaman sambiloto sering digunakan digunakan sebagai diuretika. Ekstrak sambiloto yang memiliki kandungan salah satunya diantaranya yaitu Diterpe lactone dimana dapat merangsang pelepasan insulin dan menghambat absorbsi glukosa melalui penghambatan enzim alfaglukosidase dan alfa-amilase yang dapat menurunkan kadar gula darah serta meningkatkan sensitivitas insulin melalui peningkatkan reseptor GLUT-4 sehingga menurunkan kadar insulin. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mempelajari pengaruh kadar insulin pada rattus norvegicus model sopk dengan resistensi insulin yang diberi ekstrak sambiloto, yang diamati kadar insulin. Penelitian ini eksperimen laboratories, jenis rancangan acak lengkap dengan kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan sebanyak 25 ekor tikus putih (Ratus norvegicus) dibagi secara acak menjadi 5 kelompok masing- masing terdiri 5 ekor tikus putih. Kelompok kontrol (K) ada 2 yaitu K- tidak mendapat perlakuan, K+ dibuat model SOPK- resistensi insulin dengan pemberian testosterone propionate 28 hari. Kelompok perlakuan ekstrak sambiloto dosis 18 mg/ 100g bb /hari, kelompok perlakuan ekstrak sambiloto dosis 36 mg/ 100g bb /hari, kelompok perlakuan ekstrak sambiloto dosis 72 mg/ 100g bb /hari. Pemberian perlakuan diberikan satu kali sehari, dilaksanakan selama 4 siklus birahi tikus putih atau 15 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata dari hasil dari uji Manova diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0.554 (p>0,05) artinya tidak adanya perubahan yang nyata antara kadar insulin kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Kadar insulin yang tidak ada perubahan bermakna, mengindikasikan kemungkinan ekstrak sambiloto belum dapat memperbaiki keadaan insulin dengan memiliki jumlah reseptor insulin kurang, mengakibatkan penurunan sensitivitas insulin sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya keadaan hiperinsulinemia. Dengan asumsi ekstrak sambiloto belum mampu memperbaiki keadaaan kadar insulin, kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya jumlah dosis pemberian
