Abstract

Abstract More than 32 years library State Polythecnic of Jakarta served civitas academica waiting oriented (passive). Statistics data showed that customer of library State Polythecnic of Jakarta last five years not significant. (Source: Anual Book Report 2014). Because of that, its time to library management applied new paradigmn service based on ‘the customer value.’ It means that applied with adagium customer will increase followed by increasingly accredited higher education institution. (Source: American Librarian Association, 2013) Claimed of National Institution Accreditation is very important for State Polytechnic Of Jakarta in the future (2029, PNJ go international) will be followed by Claimed of International Institution Accreditation. Because of that, the role from customer is really important to develop the State Polytechnic Of Jakarta. If customer feels satisfied for pursuit State Polytechnic Of Jakarta’s Library, the impact is following another outsearches. The aim of research (1) are knowing and measuring (1) the costumer value, and (2) applied the costumer value, in order to customer volume from years by years tend to significantly increase. (2) Having a model to develop library and serve costumer base on the customer value in order to applied to another units in State Polytechnic Of Jakarta. Metode of research using descriptive analysis by spreading quesioner from some population and taken sample after that change into table, tested and analysed and taken the purpose. The definition of the newest edition from library glossarium is the newest print between 1-5 period, meanwhile book of print between 5-10 is called the old edition. Altough the book was a old version the frequence always borrowed by the customers , so the book will still considered as the new one. However the book that published more than 10 years was a rare book which is the frequence often borrowed by the customers. Lets see the collection of the book in library PNJ based on the tender of purchase in 2013. Since a part of 807 book title, it’ll be 53 book title published between 1-5 years period. Those books the writer explained on Chapter IV. PNJ library should be use ‘book showcase’, social media and website for informing the newest book availability and active controlled and in secquencing. First, we recommended to library managment on websites for avaliability ‘book delivery order’ in order to student for not spending time. Second, to motivate students visiting library of PNJ inform via student’s email that avaliability book newest edition ready to lend. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini mencoba mengetahui sampai seberapa besar Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah(UMKM) di Depok dapat menyerap tenaga kerja dan Kebijakan-kebijakan apa yang dapat diambil dalam rangka pemberdayaan UMKM agar dapat menyerap tenaga kerja lebih banyak. Penduduk depok pada tahun 2011 mencapai 1.756.565 orang ,terdiri dari 879.325 orang laki-laki dan 857.240 orang perempuan. Dari jumlah tersebut di atas yang masuk angkatan kerja mencapai 730.924 orang atau hanya 41%, itu berarti sekitar 59 persen terdiri anak-anak, remaja dan orang lanjut usia. Dari jumlah angkatan kerja yang mencapai 730.924 orang, yang dapat diserap oleh pasar tenaga kerja hanya sebesar 657.050, itu berartai terdapat pengangguran sebesar 73.874 orang atau mencapai 10%, Kemampuan UMKM di Depok Menyerap keseluruhan angkatan kerja sebesar 534.500 orang atau sekitar 73 %. Permasalahan yang paling banyak dihadapi oleh pengusaha UKM adalah masalah kurangnya modal, yakni sebesar 45%, disusul kemudian masalah kurang terampilnya sumber daya manusia, masalah bahan baku juga termasuk permasalahan serius, ini menempati tingkat permasalahan rangking tiga, yakni sebesar 4%. Masalah lainya seperti persaingan, lokasi, perijinan, pemasaran dan lain-lain merupakan permasalahan berikutnya yang sering dihadapi oleh pengusaha UKM

Abstract

Reuse of wastewater in the industry is mostly accomplished for watering plants. In a closed cycle, however, industrial wastewater can be returned through treatment to save water usage. This study aims to analyze textile wastewater's ability to be used as scrubbing liquid in the SO2 gas and particulate removal from coal combustion using a packed wet scrubber. Usually, the textile industry uses boiler fueled by coal and discharging base/alkaline wastewater. The method is carried out experimentally using a prototype device using a combination of cyclone and scrubber, with a source of coal combustion gas emissions. We did experiments using textile wastewater four times and two times using clean water as a control. We monitor the SO2, particulate emission in the gas stream, and pH, sulfate levels, and TSS levels in collected wastewater according to SNI. SO2 gas and particulates from coal combustion will be absorbed by the scrubber's wastewater spray so that SO2 will dissolve into sulfate, particulate matter into TSS. The study results using textile wastewater showed the removal efficiency of particulates on cyclone by 34-78%.  The removal efficiency of SO2 on wet scrubber was only 24.7%. There was an increase in TSS levels after passing through the scrubber by 46%. The rise in TSS and sulfate concentrations in the wastewater indicates the absorption of SO2 and particulates into wastewater. Based on this result, we can use textile wastewater for controlling the emission of SO2 and particulate from coal combustion by feeding it for the scrubber. However, the efficiency of this process is not optimal.

Abstract

Analysis of technical soil properties in terms of size, type, and pressure is needed for the proper development plan. Building plans, which include Sedimentation Retaining Wall, need to be able to create buildings that are safe, stable, and resistant to both vertical and horizontal forces. It requires shear resistance analysis (Pα), which is carried out through laboratory tests by estimating the value of cohesion, shear angle, soil fill weight, and density. When the shear resistance analysis has a value greater than 1.5, it means that the building is resistant to force.

Abstract

Abstract— In material that is subjected to heat treatment or workmanship such as in the welding process or flame cutting cutting, it will experience structural changes and mechanical properties. Changes in mechanical properties will cause losses such as: material becomes hard and brittle, although tensile strength and wear resistance increases. In this study an analysis of the factors affecting flame cutting cnc and cooling time against hardness was carried out. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the change in hardness on the results of flame cutting cutting. The study was conducted with three different treatments. The results of flame cutting cutting are cooled with 10 seconds, 25 seconds and 50 seconds respectively. Hardness data collection was carried out at a distance of 2 mm, 10 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm. The experimental results showed that the hardness value of SS 400 material at 10 seconds cooling time resulted in an average hardness of testing 1 = 76 HRB, testing 2 = 76 HRB, testing 3 = 76 HRB. At 25 seconds cooling time produces the average hardness from testing 1 = 74.83 HRB, testing 2 = 74.66 HRB, testing 3 = 74.33 HRB. And the 50-second cooling time produces the average hardness of the test 1 = 73.66 HRB, testing 2 = 73.33 HRB, testing 3 = 7658 HRB. Keywords—: flame cutting; SS 400; hardness.

Abstract

Dusun Sambungrejo dan Dusun Nipis, Desa Sambungrejo, Kecamatan Grabag Kabupaten Magelang berada di perbukitan Sokoringi dan Seloprogo dengan elevasi 750 hingga 1200 mdpl dengan topografi lereng yang cukup curam. Pada hari Sabtu, 29 April 2017 pukul 15:00 WIB banjir bandang menimpa dua desa yaitu Desa Sambungrejo dan Citrosono dengan korban jiwa sebanyak 13 orang. Dusun Sambungrejo dan Dusun Nipis, Desa Sambungrejo merupakan dusun yang ter dampak paling parah dengan 11 korban jiwa sedangkan dampak fisik dan non fisik lainnya adalah 67 rumah rusak, puluhan warga terutama anak-anak mengalami traumatis bencana dan kerusakan lingkungan. Sudah dua tahun berlalu, fase recovery dan rehabilitasi sudah dilakukan namun masih belum ada teknologi mitigasi bencana yang diterapkan di desa tersebut. Perancangan alat peringatan dini bencana ini juga tidak mudah dilakukan karena harus disesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi desa setempat. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini akan diarahkan pada transfer teknologi dengan menerapkan teknologi EWS (Early Warning System) berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk longsor yang menyebabkan banjir bandang.

Abstract

Digital wallets (e-wallets) are a technology that provides a new perspective for the public on non-cash payments that are far more practical and secure in transactions. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence the success or failure of implementing digital wallets (e-wallets) using the variant-based Structural Equation Modeling method (Partial Least Square). In this decade, an approach has been developed that allows the relationship between an independent variable to the dependent variable which is influenced by other latent variables called Moderating Structural Equation Modeling (MSEM), so this study uses MSEM by measuring it using the ping method. The results of the analysis show that the factors that influence acceptance defined as interest in using the technology are social influences, faciliating conditions and consumer habits. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the use of digital wallets which are defined as usage behavior are interest in use and conditions that facilitate. The use of digital wallets (e-wallets) is also indirectly influenced by social influences, conditions that facilitate and consumer habits. the factor of supporting facilities from the issuer of digital wallets (e-wallets) is a factor that affects directly and indirectly the use of digital wallets (e-wallets). Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesuburan tanah sangat penting bagi pertumbuhan suatu tanaman pada lingkungan pertanian, kesuburan tanah tdiak terlepas dari ketersediaan unsur hara pada takaran dan kesetimbangan tertentu secara berkesinambungan, unsur hara dalam tanah mengalami perubahan tergantung pada musim, proses pengolahan lahan dan jenis tanaman yang di budidayakan. Evaluasi kesuburan tanah di perlukan guna pendiagnosaan masalah- masalah keharaan dalam tanah dan pembuatan anjuran pemupukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis tekstur dan profil kesuburan tanah lahan sawah di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey lapangan dan uji tanah lahan persawahan di Laboratorium. Pengambilan sampel di Kota Semarang hanya difokuskan pada lahan persawahan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tekstur tanah pada ketiga lokasi penelitian menunjukkan tekstur yang berbeda beda. Pada wilayah pudak payung di dominasi tekstur sedang, sedangkan di wilayah Sumur Rejo didominasi tekstur kasar dan di wilayah Ngijo di dominasi tekstur sedang dan agak halus. Sampel tanah pada lokasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanah tersebut mempunyai kandungan kation kation yang masih kurang. pH tanah (pH H2O dan pH KCl) pada ketiga lokasi penelitian merupakan tanah ultisol yaitu tanah mineral yang pH-nya berada diantara 4,00 - 6,00. Penetapan kadar C-organik tanah sawah pada lokasi penelitian dari masing-masing lokasi tergolong rendah dengan nilai berkisar 1,80 – 2,38. Kandungan fosfor tanah pada lokasi penelitian yang diamati berkisar 128,07 me/100g – 196,50 me/100g. Kandungan K total tanah dari masing – masing lokasi penelitian berkisar 23,77 – 153,00. Abstract

Pandemic has impacted many areas of life and led to the development of much new behaviour due to people's efforts to adapt, including adaptation in the workplace. The WFO (Work from Office) and WFH (Work from Home) rules will be enforced during the Covid-19, and this is one of the adaptive steps taken. Some employees are required to work from the office, while others are allowed to work from home under this rule. The author aimed to investigate the development of a microcontroller-based dynamic archive security system to address archive security during the WFH and WFO periods. With security system, the goal was to develop security tools that can serve two functions simultaneously, namely protecting data from loss while making it easier for workers to access the dynamic archives they need. This research was conducted by using research and development methods and the object of research was education staff at the Faculty of Economics, UNNES, using research and development strategies, this study succeeded in making a Dynamic Archive Security System product based on Biometric System Identification. Suggestions in this research on security systems can also be added with variations with RFID cards or NFC cards to implement various security systems.

Abstract

 The addition of embers is an effort to improve the efficiency of LPG stoves. Fire-embossed element of woven pattern is made of wire nikelin. The device when is burned with LPG cooker fire will incite to form a high-temperature fire, so as to burn the unperfectly burned fuel vapor around the wire. Previous research has shown that the element of fire can improve the efficiency of 8.32%. The efficiency test is done by boiling water test. The diameter of the embers element is varied, 20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. The performance of the appliance is compared to the LPG stove without the use of embers. Temperature distribution at each treatment was also examined. It was found that the use of fire element with diameter of 0.20 mm resulted in the highest efficiency of 61.71%, with an increase of 8.32%. Temperature distribution test results show that the use of fire diameter element 0.20 mm produce the most optimal adult fire areas.
