Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesuburan tanah sangat penting bagi pertumbuhan suatu tanaman pada lingkungan pertanian, kesuburan tanah tdiak terlepas dari ketersediaan unsur hara pada takaran dan kesetimbangan tertentu secara berkesinambungan, unsur hara dalam tanah mengalami perubahan tergantung pada musim, proses pengolahan lahan dan jenis tanaman yang di budidayakan. Evaluasi kesuburan tanah di perlukan guna pendiagnosaan masalah- masalah keharaan dalam tanah dan pembuatan anjuran pemupukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis tekstur dan profil kesuburan tanah lahan sawah di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey lapangan dan uji tanah lahan persawahan di Laboratorium. Pengambilan sampel di Kota Semarang hanya difokuskan pada lahan persawahan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tekstur tanah pada ketiga lokasi penelitian menunjukkan tekstur yang berbeda beda. Pada wilayah pudak payung di dominasi tekstur sedang, sedangkan di wilayah Sumur Rejo didominasi tekstur kasar dan di wilayah Ngijo di dominasi tekstur sedang dan agak halus. Sampel tanah pada lokasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanah tersebut mempunyai kandungan kation kation yang masih kurang. pH tanah (pH H2O dan pH KCl) pada ketiga lokasi penelitian merupakan tanah ultisol yaitu tanah mineral yang pH-nya berada diantara 4,00 - 6,00. Penetapan kadar C-organik tanah sawah pada lokasi penelitian dari masing-masing lokasi tergolong rendah dengan nilai berkisar 1,80 – 2,38. Kandungan fosfor tanah pada lokasi penelitian yang diamati berkisar 128,07 me/100g – 196,50 me/100g. Kandungan K total tanah dari masing – masing lokasi penelitian berkisar 23,77 – 153,00. Abstract

Pandemic has impacted many areas of life and led to the development of much new behaviour due to people's efforts to adapt, including adaptation in the workplace. The WFO (Work from Office) and WFH (Work from Home) rules will be enforced during the Covid-19, and this is one of the adaptive steps taken. Some employees are required to work from the office, while others are allowed to work from home under this rule. The author aimed to investigate the development of a microcontroller-based dynamic archive security system to address archive security during the WFH and WFO periods. With security system, the goal was to develop security tools that can serve two functions simultaneously, namely protecting data from loss while making it easier for workers to access the dynamic archives they need. This research was conducted by using research and development methods and the object of research was education staff at the Faculty of Economics, UNNES, using research and development strategies, this study succeeded in making a Dynamic Archive Security System product based on Biometric System Identification. Suggestions in this research on security systems can also be added with variations with RFID cards or NFC cards to implement various security systems.

Abstract

 The addition of embers is an effort to improve the efficiency of LPG stoves. Fire-embossed element of woven pattern is made of wire nikelin. The device when is burned with LPG cooker fire will incite to form a high-temperature fire, so as to burn the unperfectly burned fuel vapor around the wire. Previous research has shown that the element of fire can improve the efficiency of 8.32%. The efficiency test is done by boiling water test. The diameter of the embers element is varied, 20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. The performance of the appliance is compared to the LPG stove without the use of embers. Temperature distribution at each treatment was also examined. It was found that the use of fire element with diameter of 0.20 mm resulted in the highest efficiency of 61.71%, with an increase of 8.32%. Temperature distribution test results show that the use of fire diameter element 0.20 mm produce the most optimal adult fire areas.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an acute febrile disease caused by the dengue virus, which enters the human bloodstream through the bite of a mosquito of the genus Aedes Aegypti or Aedes Albopictus. Based on World Health Organization (WHO) records, it is estimated that 500,000 dengue hemorrhagic fever patients require hospital treatment every year and most of the sufferers are children. To analyze the relationship between recovery time in dengue fever patients and the factors that influence it using regression analysis, the dependent variable is the failure time and the function of the response variable tends to fail constant so to find out the relationship using Cox proportional hazard regression. Cox proportional hazard regression is a regression model that is often used in survival analysis. Survival analysis is a method used to describe data analysis in terms of time from the time of origin defined until a certain event occurs. In this study, the recovery time of dengue fever patients as a function of failure is proportional. The observations used by the researchers for each patient were not the same. The population of this study were all patients with dengue fever. The data used was obtained from the medical record section for data on the length of hospitalization of patients regarding the recovery of patients with dengue fever. The conclusion of the research shows that the factors that affect the recovery time of dengue fever patients are hematocrit, platelets, immunoglobulin G, and immunoglobulin M.

Abstract

Coal is the main fuel in steam power plants (PLTU) whose availability is dwindling. Realizing this, one of the efforts made is to mix coal with other fuels, known as Co-Firing. This is done as an effort to substitute new and renewable energy and is friendly to the environment. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of a mixture of kedondong sawdust in coal on performance and exhaust emissions at PLTU. This research was conducted using quantitative methods based on experimental data. Kedondong wood powder as co-firing is varied, namely 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and compared to 100% coal. The combustion process is carried out in the boiler and the data obtained is in the form of operating parameters and exhaust emissions. Based on this research, it was found that all operational parameter data were normal and were within the allowable standard limits. Likewise, exhaust emissions produced by both NOx and SO2 show better results than the use of 100% coal.

Abstract

The study is to analyze the the influence of leadership style and compensation on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable in PT. Gansar Jaya. The research method used is quantitative. All employees of PT. Gansar Jaya formed a study group. All 63 employees of PT Gansar Jaya decided on the sample size used in this study. The truth of the premise of this research will be assessed using the partial least squares (PLS) model analysis. Based on the research results, PT. Gansar Jaya's workers perform better under a favorable leadership style and compensation structure. Management attitude and compensation at PT. Gansar Jaya has a positive effect on employee morale. Statistically significant positive effect of PT. Gansar Jaya on employee performance has been proven. Motivation has been shown in PT. Gansar Jaya to mediate how leader style impacts team performance. motivation turns out to be a bridge between compensation and performance at PT. Gansar Jaya.

Abstract

In the dynamic landscape of education, where the winds of change constantly blow through the traditional structures, a promising avenue for transformative evolution emerges at the intersection of pedagogy and social marketing. As we navigate the multifaceted challenges woven into the fabric of society, the symbiotic relationship between education and social marketing takes center stage. Quantitative data from surveys will be analyzed using statistical techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and trends. Qualitative data from interviews and community workshops will undergo thematic analysis to uncover recurring themes and nuanced insights. The triangulation of findings from multiple sources will enhance the validity and reliability of the results. The synergy between pedagogy and social marketing represents a paradigm shift in how we conceptualize and approach education. The fusion of pedagogy and social marketing underscores the need for integrated professional development programs for educators. Institutions should design collaborative professional development programs that bring together educators and marketers.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine and analyze the influence of motivation, organizational culture, and competence on work commitment and performance of elementary school teachers in Bengkalis District. This study was chosen because there were phenomena and problems related to the level of job satisfaction and performance of elementary school teachers in the Bengkalis District which were still low, there were many factors that influenced the high job satisfaction and performance, but the author had a temporary assumption that motivational factors, organizational culture and competence affected job satisfaction, as well as motivation, organizational culture, competence and job satisfaction affect the performance of elementary school teachers in Bengkalis District. The method used in collecting data in this research is a questionnaire. The population in this study were all elementary school civil servant teachers in Bengkalis District, amounting to 626 with a saturated sample of 626 respondents. By distributing a questionnaire using a Google form filled in by all primary school civil servants in Bengkalis District, with a total of 626 respondents, it was tested with SEM AMOS. The test results showed that motivation on job satisfaction had a positive effect, organizational culture on job satisfaction had a positive effect, competence on work commitment had a positive effect, work motivation on teacher performance has a positive effect, organizational culture on performance has a positive effect, competence on performance has no effect, work commitment on performance has no effect.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Manado merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang ada di Sulawesi Utara yang menyelenggarakan Pendidikan vokasi. Politeknik Negeri Manado semakin diminati oleh masyarakat yang bukan hanya berasal dari kota Manado, tetapi juga dari kota/kabupaten lainnya yang ada di Propinsi Sulut maupun dari propinsi lainnya. Seiring dengan penambahan jumlah mahasiswa, dilakukan juga penambahan ruang kelas. Diketahui bahwa curah hujan di kota Manado cukup tinggi dengan intensitas cukup banyak mengakibatkan terjadinya genangan air yang meresahkan, hal ini juga dialami oleh kampus Politeknik Negeri Manado yang sempat mengalami genangan air yang cukup tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode perhitungan analisis curah hujan Log Pearson III, dan juga menggunakan peersamaan Mononobe untuk mendapatkan Intensitas, Dimensi saluran yang didapat, dievaluasi dan hasilnya merupakan rekomendasi. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh nilai Intensitas curah hujan adalah 86,5 mm/jam, dimensi saluran yang didapat adalah lebar saluran 30 cm, dan tinggi saluran 30 cm. Hasil obseervasi dilapangan ditemui bahwa dimensi saluran yang eksisting adalah lebar saluran 30 cm, dan tinggi saluran 50 cm. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari hasil penelitian ini adalah dimensi saluran yang eksisting masih dapat ditoleransi untuk mengalirkan air hujan. Ditempat tertentu, dilokasi Gedung GKT, ditemui dimensi saluran yang kecil, sehingga tidak mampu mengalirkan debit air hujan yang berasal dari Gedung Teknik Sipil sehingga mengakibatkan genangan yang cukup mengganggu kenyamanan.
