Abstract

In building construction, prestressed concrete is used for large spans and to increase capacity. One of them is the 16 meters long Lakes Surabaya Mall project. An important parameter is the effectiveness of the design, especially determining the parameters of the cross-sectional property. In this study, the redesign technique was used to assess the current condition in the hope that it could be modeled more effectively using cross-sectional dimensions. The design was evaluated theoretically using the concept of direct and indirect prestressing, then numerically verified using SAP2000. Prestressed beam with low relaxation PC60×12cm A416 grade 250 in the existing condition is modified using a lower dimension of 50×10cm A416 but has a grade value of 270, which is more extensive. The same data were used for criteria such as 35 MPa concrete quality, 100% load distribution factor, and 75% tendon stress percentage. The inspection results show that the transfer and service conditions are 10% smaller than the existing cross-section. A combined direct and indirect prestress loss of 19% still meets the design code.ABSTRAKDalam bidang konstruksi bangunan, beton prategang digunakan untuk bentang besar dan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are clinical infections caused by pathogens and transmitted from one person to another through unprotected sexual contact. Based on an initial survey conducted on 10 adolescents. There are (40%) who have a poor category. This is still far adrift of the Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) data indicators according to (Bekasi District Health Office, 2021) in 2018 with (65.21%). To determine the effect of knowledge level on the risk behavior of sexually transmitted infections in adolescents at SMPI Al-Munir Bekasi in 2024. This study is an Experimental One Group Education by comparing Pre-Test and Post-Test using a questionnaire. The sampling method used total sampling. The sample of this study was class VIII students (early adolescent phase) as many as 72 adolescents. There is a significant effect of knowledge level on the risk behavior of sexually transmitted infections in adolescents at SMPI AL-Munir Bekasi with (p-value 0.05). After educating the level of knowledge (Pre-Test), and (Post-Test) there was an increase in the average score (mean). While in risk behavior there is a decrease in the average score (mean). Thus the higher the level of knowledge, the lower the STI risk behavior. It is expected that adolescents will be more active in adding information and participating in reproductive health education to increase knowledge. Abstract

Interpolation is a method to determine the value that is between two values and is known from the data. In some cases, the data obtained is incomplete due to limitations in data collection. Interpolation techniques can be used to obtain approximate data. In this study, the Lagrange interpolation method of degree 2 and degree 3 is used to interpolate the data on rice demand. A trapezoidal fuzzy number expresses the demand data obtained from the interpolation. The other parameters are obtained from company data related to rice supplies and are expressed as trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. The interpolation accuracy rate is calculated using Mean Error Percentage (MAPE). The second-degree interpolation method produces a MAPE value of 30.76 percent, while the third-degree interpolation has a MAPE of 32.92 percent. Abstract

Various environmental, organizational, cultural, physical, and psychosocial stressors can arise independently or simultaneously in cadets carrying out sea practices. However, stress is not always interpreted negatively. This research aims to explore cadets' marine practice experiences from a mental health perspective, specifically how cadets interpret their experiences when sailing for the first time and facing the dynamics and complexity of challenges during sea practice. This research uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method involved distributing questionnaires with open-ended questions to 101 cadets who had just completed their marine practicals. This was followed by qualitative methods, which included in-depth interviews with five cadets who indicated their willingness to be interviewed. The collected data were then analyzed and categorized based on theoretical studies and presented in tables or diagrams accompanied by a narrative. The research found that cadets view the ship's environment as a new and challenging one. The main problem faced by cadets is adjusting to this new environment. In this adjustment process, cadets must manage their time well to balance personal needs with the need to study or work. Maintaining a harmonious relationship between mind and body, as well as connecting with their experiences, indicates a healthy mental condition. The results of the research indicate that cadets' ability to view stressful situations as challenges, involving commitment and self-control along with social support, can lead to positive attachment. This attachment is meaningful for the job satisfaction cadets experience in carrying out sea practices.

Abstract

Students' academic performance at SMK N 1 Panai Hulu has not consistently met the expected minimum standards. A major contributing factor is the limited variety of teaching methods teachers use, which has resulted in low student engagement and passive learning. While previous studies have shown that cooperative learning models can improve student outcomes, many have not specifically examined their application in history learning within vocational school contexts. This study addresses that gap by applying the Pair Check learning model, which encourages students to take a more active role through independent and collaborative learning. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The population consisted of all tenth-grade students, and a sample of 70 students was selected, comprising 35 in Class A and 35 in Class B. Data were collected through pretests and posttests administered before and after the intervention, then analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results revealed a clear improvement in the experimental group: the average score increased from 69.71 (pretest) to 78.03 (posttest), surpassing the school’s minimum criteria. In comparison, the control group improved only from 69.34 to 72.29. An independent samples t-test confirmed this difference was statistically significant (sig. 2-tailed = 0.000 < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that the Pair Check model positively impacts student achievement in history learning. Beyond this context, Pair Check can be integrated into other subjects to foster active participation, peer accountability, and deeper understanding, offering teachers a practical alternative to conventional, teacher-centered methods.
