Abstract

Menentukan sebuah metode pembelajaran merupakan langkah awal dalam keberhasilan. Akan tetapi sebagian guru mendapati kesusahan dalam implementasi dan membuat metode tersebut semenarik mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peran guru bahasa arab dalam menerapkan metode silent way pada siswa kelas IV MI DDI Loa Janan Samarinda. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian dalam analisisnya, peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa implementasi metode silent way dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang guru terapkan, untuk mempermudah proses belajar mengajar dalam pemberian mufrodat (kosakata). Metode silent way menggunakan variasi model dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, Sehingga pembelajaran Bahasa Arab lebih efektif dan menjadikan siswa lebih aktif di dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Kecamatan Muara Muntai melalui tradisi menganyam yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai spiritual zikir dalam rangkaian adat penguburan warga. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menganyam masyarakat, memperkenalkan integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam tradisi budaya. Pelatihan keterampilan menganyam yang disertai dengan pemahaman nilai-nilai agama dan budaya bertujuan untuk memperkuat ikatan sosial di antara masyarakat, serta melestarikan tradisi budaya lokal. Hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga dan melestarikan tradisi budaya yang memiliki dimensi spiritual. Program ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat solidaritas sosial di masyarakat. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi, pelestarian budaya, dan peningkatan kualitas spiritual masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

In AI in Foreign Language Learning and Teaching: Theory and Practice, Marcel Danesi underscores the ramifications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including the use of tools like ChatGPT, on Foreign Language Teaching (FLT) and its critical components: language acquisition and teaching. Danesi covers several aspects of FLT to speak, write and assess, voicing their greatest concerns on the impact of AI. Danesi provides a balanced view, considering both the advantages and challenges of dependence on AI in language education. He articulates important ethical arguments on the impact of AI in education, particularly its failure to address students’ emotional and contextual concerns, while highlighting the gap human instructors fill. In addition, the book provides synthesis of the frameworks on the use AI technologies and pedagogical tools to improve FLT while maintaining the human dimension of teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to map the application of language learning strategies based on Rebecca L. Oxford's theory in her book Language Learning Strategies: What Every Teacher Should Know for four primary skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis, this study analyzed direct (memory, cognitive, compensatory) and indirect (metacognitive, affective, social) strategies. Data were collected through a literature review and analyzed using the content analysis method based on Klaus Krippendorff's framework. The results showed that memory strategies significantly affected listening and reading skills, cognitive strategies were applied evenly across all skills, while compensatory strategies focused more on speaking skills. Metacognitive and affective strategies are important for learning management, and social strategies support all language skills. The findings guide educators in designing effective teaching methods, particularly in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

The implication of the Muhawarah Method on the Speaking Skills of Arabic Language Education Students at Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University Samarinda is a deep discussion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see the extent of the influence of the muhawarah method on student speaking skills. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a sampling technique, namely saturated samples, using research instruments, namely questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, where the entire population is sampled as many as 28 students of the Arabic Language Education study program 1 class of 2020 who study using the Muhawarah Method. The results showed that learning Maharah Al-Kalam by applying the Muhawarah Method went well, attracted students' enthusiasm in learning, and was not so difficult to follow.  Based on the results of the T test, the value of t_hitung is 9.648> t_table with a level of 0.025 (2.056). So the decision in this study Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it is concluded that there is an influence on the Muhawarah Method on Maharah Al-Kalam for PBA students in the Class of 2020 UINSI Samarinda. And based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, the result obtained is 0.782, which means that the effect of the Muhawarah Method on Maharah Al-Kalam is 78.2%.

Abstract

Many researchers in the second language field face the challenge of choosing the right method for their research, often relying on one method for their various studies. This study aims to explore various research methods in the context of the second language classroom by conducting a content analysis based on a book by Rod Ellis. This research is qualitative and is conducted through a literature study, the analysis uses Krippendorff's content analysis method, which includes six stages: unitizing, sampling, recording, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The research findings show that Ellis categorizes research methods into two main categories: formal and practical. Formal research includes experimental, descriptive, and hybrid, theory-driven research. While practical research involves action and exploratory, practitioner research does not stem from theory but from teachers' desire to experiment with innovations in their classrooms.

Abstract

The utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Arabic language learning is crucial in the Society 5.0 era, where technology significantly enhances educational quality. Arabic language learning faces challenges, particularly in grammatical aspects, translation, and speaking and writing skills, which require a more adaptive and practical approach. This study examines AI's application in Arabic language learning within the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on technologies such as Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML), E-Muhadathah, GAFE, Powtoon, and Alexa. A qualitative library research approach is employed, with data analyzed descriptively through relevant themes. The findings indicate that AI can optimize Arabic language teaching by reducing human error, speeding up the evaluation process, and supporting the development of students' Arabic language skills. However, challenges related to costs, machine creativity limitations, and adequate infrastructure must be addressed. In conclusion, AI offers a potential solution to enhance Arabic language learning. However, the success of learning still depends on the active involvement of both students and teachers in the process.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat media sosial di Indonesia meningkatkan kenyamanan interaksi digital, tetapi sekaligus menajamkan risiko serangan terhadap data pribadi pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pola serangan siber yang umum terjadi di media sosial, menganalisis tingkat kesadaran dan perilaku perlindungan pengguna, serta merumuskan strategi pengamanan data pribadi yang dapat diterapkan secara praktis. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui kajian literatur terkini mengenai phishing, social engineering, account hijacking, serta serangan berbasis kecerdasan buatan seperti deepfake dan zero‑click malware. Hasil kajian menunjukkan masih adanya kesenjangan signifikan antara pengetahuan risiko dan praktik keamanan sehari‑hari, terutama dalam pengelolaan kata sandi, pengaturan privasi, dan pengendalian akses aplikasi pihak ketiga. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan literasi keamanan siber, pemanfaatan fitur keamanan seperti autentikasi dua faktor, serta kolaborasi antara pemerintah, platform digital, dan masyarakat untuk membangun ekosistem media sosial yang lebih aman dan bertanggung jawab.
