Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena dekadensi moral yang akhir-akhir ini marak terjadi di kalangan remaja, khususnya siswa pelajar, yang terlihat dari tingginya angka tawuran, klitih, serta rendahnya akhlak di kalangan mereka. Menyikapi hal tersebut, diperlukan peran keluarga, kerja sama antara wali murid, sekolah, dan masyarakat untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, peneliti tertarik untuk mengkaji lebih lanjut tentang "Peranan Keluarga dalam Pembangunan Karakter Peserta Didik di MI Silahul Ulum Asempapan Trangkil Pati". Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran keluarga dalam pembangunan karakter peserta didik di MI Silahul Ulum Asempapan Trangkil Pati serta untuk mengetahui dampak yang timbul akibat peran keluarga dan kerja sama tersebut. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala Madrasah, Wakil Kepala Urusan Kesiswaan, Komite Madrasah, serta wali murid peserta didik MI Silahul Ulum Asempapan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran keluarga dalam pembangunan karakter peserta didik di MI Silahul Ulum Asempapan dilakukan melalui berbagai pendekatan, antara lain: mensosialisasikan program sekolah yang bertujuan untuk mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah—yaitu cerdas intelektual, cerdas emosional, dan cerdas spiritual—membentuk paguyuban orangtua, melakukan pembiasaan-pembiasaan positif, serta menjalin komunikasi yang efektif antara orangtua, sekolah, guru bimbingan konseling, dan guru pamong. Dengan pelaksanaan program-program tersebut, hasil yang diperoleh adalah tingkat pelanggaran tata tertib yang rendah, karakter anak yang semakin baik, serta tercapainya visi dan misi sekolah.

Abstract

This study's purpose was to analyse the relationship between geometric thinking skills with self-regulated learning and with students' basic geometry skills. Furthermore, analyze student errors in solving geometry problems based on their self-regulated learning to determine the optimal geometry learning environment for geometry thinking skills. The study subjects were 46 second-semester students majoring in Mathematics Education for the academic year 2021/2022 of Universitas Bina Bangsa who were selected with purposive sampling techniques. This research uses quantitative and qualitative research methods. Data were obtained from geometric thinking ability tests, basic geometry skills tests, self-regulated learning questionnaires, and interview sheets. The results showed a relationship between the ability to think geometrically and the basic geometry skills of students in solving geometry problems in terms of student self-regulated learning. It was found that students' difficulties in solving geometry problems can be overcome by creating an independent geometry learning environment. The learning process design is an independent investigation exercise involving relevance, assurance, motivation, investigation, evaluation, and satisfaction.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is a crucial ability in mathematics, both at the elementary, secondary, or college level. However, this critical thinking ability is still low. Therefore, the researchers want to study the problem at what level the students are doing in solving mathematical critical thinking problems. The research method used a qualitative method, with the implementation analyzing students who deal with mathematical critical thinking ability problems. The study was conducted at one of the State Junior High Schools in Kroya District, Indramayu, West Java. As a result of the study, information was obtained about students who could not solve the problems presented in mathematical critical thinking ability problems, so they did not understand which strategies should be used to solve problems that could be solved.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how Al-Qur'an learning is managed in developing students' affectivity using the demonstration method at SMP Perjuangan and Integrated Informatics Depok, West Java. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods and data collection tools through interviews, observation and document study. Data analysis uses reduction, data presentation and verification. The sample or what is called the main informant in this research are Al-Qur'an teachers. The results of this research show that learning management in developing students' affectivity using the demonstration method is as follows: 1) Learning planning for the Al-Qur'an program is planned for daily, weekly and semester activities, where each meeting will be filled with tahsin and tahfizh material. In accordance with the learning targets, the target for learning the Al-Qur'an is 2 juz for 3 years, where in the first year and second year it is used to memorize and in the third year to repeat memorization. 2) organizing tahfidz is dividing a group of students into three parts. In each Al-Qur'an group there is one Qur'an teacher and students. grouped based on students' ability to read when they first enter school or during the entrance exam for new students. 3) Implementation of learning activities begins with an opening, greeting, prayer and providing motivation before entering the core material that you want to convey. The opening activities include maintaining etiquette when studying, preparing learning tools, praying, taking attendance, providing motivation and notifying the learning targets you want to study at each meeting. 4) Evaluation in daily teaching and learning activities is only a memorization deposit at the end of the session, apart from that there is a mid-semester exam and final semester exam in the form of a practical exam in reading the Al-Qur'an and a memorization exam in the form of connecting verses. 5) 5) Students' affective development is carried out by providing demonstrations in accordance with the learning material. Some teachers have done it, but some teachers still have not implemented this method.

Abstract

Quality education is a dream for education managers. To achieve these goals and expectations, Islamic educational institutions must be able to implement and apply various strategies in managing educational institutions. This strategy is formulated based on proper planning, good implementation, and continuous evaluation. This research uses a qualitative-analytical approach. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Hubermen interactive analysis model which includes four components, namely data collection, reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data uses credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of this research show that The strategic planning carried out by the Darul Kamal NW Kembang Kerang Islamic Boarding School involved various parties (stakeholders) from academic circles, religious leaders, community leaders and other figures through the formulation of vision and mission, formulation of goals and targets education, as well as determining strategies.

Abstract

Several previous studies have stated that the ability of students in Indonesia is still relatively low in solving real mathematical problems, therefore learning mathematics needs to be related to the environment around students. This study aims to explore and analyze some mathematical concepts contained in the object of the Kudus Tower building in Kudus Regency. The research method used is an explorative-descriptive method with an ethnographic approach with the aim of exploring and analyzing some of the mathematical concepts contained in the ornaments or buildings of the Holy Tower. The data collection technique used an interactive model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. Triangulation was also carried out by researchers to check the validity of the data. The results showed that on the object of the Kudus Tower building in Kudus Regency there are ethnomathematics concepts consisting of (a) Circle concept; (b) rhombus; (c) square; (d) rectangle; (e) equilateral triangle; (f) isosceles triangle; (g) trapezoid; (h) cube; (i) beam, (j) trapezoidal prism, and (k) quadrilateral pyramid. Some of these ethnomathematics concepts have relevance to mathematics learning at the primary and junior secondary education levels in geometry material.

Abstract

This research uses a realistic ethnographic design to examine the culture of mathematical thinking in determining the match between partners for marriage in the Losarang-Indonesian Dayak community. Data were collected through field notes, in-depth interviews, and observation. Ethnomathematics as a research genre reveals important universal elements of mathematical activity, while ethnomodelling reflects ideas and the practice of community mathematics through ethical, emic, and dialectical approaches. The findings of this research indicate that ethnomathematically, the Losarang-Indonesian Dayak community have used formal language on mathematical principles to develop a knowledge system capable of sorting, pairing, calculating, and comparing the suitability of partners based on birth. Ethnomodelling is a relevant mathematical idea and concept related to arithmetic operations, sets, relations, functions, and number comparisons. Furthermore, the implication of this research is to produce didactic situations to teach the concepts of arithmetic operations, sets, relations as well as functions, and number comparisons. The didactic situation of the customary patterns of the Losarang-Dayak community can also be presented in mathematics teaching materials based on local culture. Therefore, the successful conduction of this research can enrich the repertoire of developing school mathematics learning that focuses on local culture.

Abstract

Educational responsibility cannot be done unilaterally, it requires collaboration and cooperation of three components which Ki Hajar Dewantara called the three centers of education: family, educational institutions, and society. The three are a complete unit and complement each other. The involvement and role of parents and society in overseeing children's education in the era of globalization is very urgent.This journal aims to discuss the importance of the Three Centers of Education as a solution to overcome the increasing juvenile delinquency in this era of globalization. The writing of this journal uses the library research method, or often also called library study or library research, collecting data from various literatures. The three centers of education equally play an important role in the success of education, which are basically all interrelated and cooperate with each other. The three must indirectly provide close guidance in the education process. The relationship between the three can be seen from: Parents carry out their obligations to educate children in the family, educational institutions facilitate teaching various sciences. knowledge and skills with full support from parents of students, and the community is expected to become a facilitator for students to be able to actualize their knowledge and skills

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam pembelajaran peserta didik mengalami kesukaran atau kesulitan untuk mendalami pemahaman matematika, sehingga matematika dijadikan sebagai salah satu dari mata pelajaran yang sedikit diminati oleh peserta didik. Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran yang monoton dan tanpa adanya inovasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, sehingga peserta didik merasa bosan dan kurang termotivasi untuk belajar matematika. Banyak penelitian yang mengembangkan media pembelajaran untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satunya adalah pengembangan game edukasi. Oleh sebab itu, pada artikel ini akan dilakukan peneliti mempelajari dan menganalisis artikel-arikel terkait penerapam game edukasi pembelajaran yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti lainnya untuk mengetahui permasalahan, solusi, motode, jenis game yang dikembangkan, materi yang digunakan, dan hasil pengembangan game edukasi tersebut terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Peneliti ini ingin mencapai tujuan menggunakan metode kualitatif, sebuah tinjauan sistematis berbantuan kerangka PRISMA. Terdapat 20 artikel yang telah saring sesuai kelayakan dan ketentuan yang dikaji oleh peneliti. Hasil tinjauan sistematis diperoleh permasalahan yang terjadi selama pembelajaran matematika adalah kurangnya motivasi, minat, dan peserta didik yang mudah merasa bosan selama pembelajaran matematika. Permasalahan terjadi akibat guru yang hanya menerapkan metode, pendekatan, dan model pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif atau pembelajaran yang monoton, sehingga peserta didik menjadi pasif dan pemahaman peserta didik berkurang. Kemudian, solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah penerapan media yang relevan atau sesuai dengan perilaku siswa di masing-masing sekolah. Selanjutnya, karakteristik peserta didik pada zaman sekarang adalah suka dengan permainan, sehingga media pembelajaran yang sesuai adalah game edukasi. Selain itu, jenis game edukasi yang disarankan yaitu game bingo, RPG, petualangan, monopoli, teka-teki, quiz, permainan kartu, dll. Pengembangan game edukasi dari 20 artikel terdapat 18 artikel diperoleh game edukasi valid (rata-rata kevalidan 89,52%), praktis (rata-rata kepraktisan 88,56%), dan efektiif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengajaran matematika yang hanya berfokus pada proses formal tidak dapat mengembangkan koneksi matematis siswa. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan modul pembelajaran matematika praktis untuk meningkatkan koneksi matematika siswa merupakan salah satu alternatifnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi konsep-konsep matematika yang dikemas dalam modul pembelajaran bangunan bersejarah di Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode pengajaran matematika praktis dengan bantuan Kahoot untuk meningkatkan koneksi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian sastra. Hasil analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa berbagai unsur etnografi pada bangunan bersejarah di Indonesia banyak memuat konsep geometri sederhana antara lain garis, panjang diagonal, sudut, luas dan keliling serta masih banyak lagi konsep matematika lainnya. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan modul pembelajaran matematika realistik yang dibantu dengan Kahoot dapat meningkatkan koneksi matematis peserta didik secara efektif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik dapat menjadi alternatif yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di sekolah.
