Abstract

Several things that are important in learning connected mathematics, namely mathematics and self-ability, can be developed using the PjBL learning model with the PMRI approach. The aims of this research are (1) to analyze the quality of the PjBL learning model using the PMRI approach in junior high schools and (2) to find patterns of mathematical connection abilities of class VII SMP students in terms of self-ability. This research method is a mixed method with a mixture of qualitative and quantitative research. Class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Banyubiru are the population in this study. The research sample was taken using random sampling technique. This research data was collected using observation, tests, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. This research obtained the results that the PjBL model with the PMRI approach has good quality for improving students' mathematical connection abilities as evidenced by the posttest results of students who achieved minimum completeness and the proportion of completeness was more than 75%. Subjects with high self-efficacy are able to fulfill all mathematical connection indicators. Subjects with moderate self-efficacy can also master all indicators but are still not good. Low student self-efficacy cannot master mathematics indicators in contexts outside mathematics. So the higher the student's self-efficacy, the higher their mathematical connection ability will be

Abstract

Literacy is a human right and the basis for lifelong learning covering various aspects of life. One of these aspects is the need for mathematical literacy. The 21st century learning system, Indonesian education does not only focus on 4C skills, but there is development of these skills, namely students' skills in dealing with HOTS (higher order thinking skills) questions. Mathematics literacy regarding HOTS questions at SMA/MA/SMK level is still low, one of the causes is the lack of student learning independence. The aim of this research is to describe the mathematics literacy of HOTS questions in terms of student learning independence. This type of research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of three class X students where each student represented each category of learning independence, namely: low, medium and high. Data collection uses questionnaires, tests and interviews. The research results showed that (1) students with low learning independence were only able to master the indicators of identifying problems and making conclusions; (2) students with moderate learning independence were quite good at mastering the indicators of mathematics literacy but did not master the indicators of finding solutions to problems; and (3) students with high learning independence are able to master all indicators of mathematics literacy. Therefore, the high level of student learning independence significantly influences students' mathematics literacy abilities.

Abstract

Numerasi penting bagi siswa SMK karena kemampuan numerasi seringkali diterapkan ketika mereka memasuki dunia kerja. Peneliti berasumsi bahwa numerasi dapat ditingkatkan dengan cara menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu terhadap matematika. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan yaitu: (1) menunjukkan bahwa rasa ingin tahu terhadap matematika berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa, dan (2) mengetahui bagaimana menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu terhadap matematika guna meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu mixed method. Penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan uji regresi sederhana dan uji paired-samples t test. Analisis selanjutnya yaitu kualitatif dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, interpretasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) rasa ingin tahu terhadap matematika berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa, dan (2) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dapat diupayakan dengan menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu terhadap matematika, yaitu dengan cara: memberikan motivasi kepada siswa sebelum memulai pembelajaran, memberikan pertanyaan yang mendorong siswa agar siswa mampu memunculkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan lainnya, dan memberikan latihan soal secara rutin agar siswa terbiasa dalam mengerjakan soal yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasinya.

Abstract

Anak tunarungu adalah anak yang mengalami gangguan pendengaran baik pada taraf ringan hingga berat atau dapat disebut tuli atau deaf. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menawarkan strategi mnemonic keyword sebagai strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengayaan kosakata pada anak tunarungu yang tentu saja mengalami hambatan terhadap kosakata karena mengalami gangguan pendengaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriftif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti berdasarkan buku-buku pustaka serta hasil penelitian terdahulu yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian yang di dapat peneliti dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka, strategi mnemonic keyword sangat baik dan efektif digunakan oleh guru sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan kosakata pada anak tunarungu. Dengan strategi mnemonic keywords, peneliti berharap guru-guru yang menjadi pengajar tunarungu tidak kesulitan mencari strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengayaan kosakata pada anak tunarungu. Sehingga kosakata yang dimiliki anak-anak tunarungu dapat setara dengan anak-anak normal lainnya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the PjBL model with folklore nuances to improve students' writing skills and self-confidence and to analyze the effect of self-confidence on students' writing skills in grade V. Currently, PISA shows that the ability of Indonesian students to solve PISA questions is still far above average value. For example, in PISA 2015, the performance of Indonesian students was still relatively low. Successively the average achievement scores of Indonesian students for reading, mathematics, and science are ranked 61st, 63rd, and 62nd out of 69 countries. The method used is a comparative method with a quantitative approach. The population of this study consisted of grade 5 elementary school students from the Ahmad Yani cluster in Adiwerna District, Tegal Regency, in the 2022/2023 school year, consisting of 10 elementary schools with a total of 375 students. The research sample consisted of 30 students from SDN Kaliwadas 01 and SDN Kaliwadas 02. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. The two schools are located side by side. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The data sources used were primary and secondary. Primary data was obtained from the results of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Secondary data was obtained through official releases or publications, including data used as literature such as books and reports. For data analysis techniques used are prerequisite analysis tests, namely normality test and homogeneity test, while hypothesis testing with t-test and simple regression test. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the writing skills of fifth-grade students of SDN Kaliwadas 01 and SDN Kaliwadas 02 after using the folklore-based Project Base Learning (PjBL) method. In addition, PjBL, with the theme of folklore, also increases students' self-confidence, where folklore has high character education values, one of which is the character of self-confidence. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is an increase in writing skills of 5th-grade students of SDN Kaliwadas 01 and SDN Kaliwadas 02 after the use of the Project Base Learning (PjBL) method based on folklore. In addition, PjBL, with the theme of folklore, also increases students' self-confidence, where folklore has high character education values, one of which is the character of self-confidence.

Abstract

The research was conducted to analyze the ability of mathematical representation in terms of learning styles through Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE). The ability of mathematical representation is very necessary for students, because with the ability of representation students can understand a concept and problem and turn it into a concrete form. This research is a mixed method research. The study was conducted at the Ciwaringin Islamic boarding school with subject class VII D as the experimental class and VII E as the control class. Data was collected through tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that the quality of learning through CORE on students' representational abilities was in the good category. Students with visual learning styles could use all indicators of mathematical representation to the maximum compared to students with auditory and kinesthetic learning styles

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini permasalahan yang diangkat yaitu tentang bagaimana penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan disekolah dan bagaimana implementasi guru dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebersihan melalui hadits. Dari permasalahan yang muncul tersebut diharapkan mampu menjadikan diterapkan oleh siswa baik dilingkungan sekolah maupun dilingkungan rumahnya. Dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, pendidikan karakter dapat digunakan sebagai upaya terencana untuk menjadikan peserta didik mengenal, peduli dan meninteralisasi nilai-nilai kebersihan sehingga peserta didik berperilaku sebagai manusia yang berkarakter dan memiliki kepribadian luhur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan penelitian ini dimaksud untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pendidikan karakter siswa dalam menanamkan peduli lingkungan melalui hadist kebersihan disekolah. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini mencakup sumber primer dan sekunder. Sumber data primer disini yaitu guru di SD Islam Az-Zahrah Palembag. Kemudian hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu, pendidikan karakter yang dilakukan oleh guru menanamkan karakter dalam menjaga kebersihan kepada siswa, terutama dengan menunjukkan bagaimana cara menjaga kebersihan ketika pembelajaran di kelas. Kemudian dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan bahwasanya implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan ini tercipta adanya pembiasaan siswa untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya, dan siswa ditanamkan nilai akibat dari bahayanya membuang sampah sembarangan. Selanjutnya dalam penanaman nilai hadits tentang kebersihan bahwasanya guru melakukan kegiatan rutin untuk siswa agar selalu melafalkan hadis terkait kebersihan setiap hari Jum'at bersamaan dengan muroja'ah hafalan surah-surah pendek. Selain itu, wali kelas dan guru pendamping keagamaan menjelaskan makna dari hadis dan bagaimana penerapan nilai-nilainya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari juga siswa selalu ditanmkankan pemahaman agar selalu mengingatkan sesama teman untuk menjaga kebersihan.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss BTQ learning through the PAI extracurricular program in junior high schools with the Peer Tutor Learning Method (Peer Teaching). The research uses the library research method, or library research, collecting data from various literatures. BTQ learning through the PAI extracurricular program in junior high schools using the peer tutor learning method is one of the alternative programs and methods for BTQ learning to be accepted, because in it there is an element of teamwork so that students are motivated to learn in order to improve their BTQ learning outcomes. Thus, it is expected that by using the peer tutor learning method, PAI teachers can condition students in such a way that students can be actively involved in learning, able to work together between students so that BTQ learning outcomes can be improved.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pembelajaran BTQ melalui program Ekstrakurikuler PAI di SMP dengan Metode Pembelajaran Tutor Sebaya (Peer Teaching). Penelitian menggunakan metode riset kepustakaan (library research), atau penelitian kepustakaan, menghimpun data dari berbagai literatur. Pembelajaran BTQ melalui program Ekstrakurikuler PAI di SMP menggunakan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya menjadi salah satu alternatif program dan metode agar pembelajaran BTQ bisa diterima, karena di dalamnya terdapat unsur kerjasama tim sehingga peserta didik termotivasi untuk belajar guna meningkatkan hasil belajar BTQ mereka. Dengan demikian diharapkan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya, guru PAI dapat mengkondisikan peserta didik sedemikian rupa, sehingga peserta didik dapat terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran, mampu bekerja sama antar peserta didik sehingga hasil belajar BTQ dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Indonesian students' critical thinking ability is still low. The lack of critical thinking skills occurs because students tend to memorize material and formulas rather than understand concepts, so that students are less trained in developing critical thinking skills.QThe aims of this study were (1) to find out the effectiveness of the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive media with ethnomathematics nuances on the mathematical critical thinking skills of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Adiwerna. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Adiwerna Tegal Regency for the academic year 2021/2022 consisting of 9 classes. The sample in this study was class 8I as an experimental class that was given learning using a problem-based learning model assisted by interactive media, class 8F as a control class that was given expository model learning and class 8A as a trial class. The research method used in this research is Quasi Experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. In this design, there are two groups selected by cluster random sampling. The research procedure consisted of four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the data analysis stage and the conclusion drawing stage. Data collection techniques in this study include documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques in this study were individual completeness tests, classical completeness tests, average similarity tests. The results of this study are (1) the problem based learning model assisted by interactive media with ethnomathematics nuances is effective for mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Inovasi pembelajaran harus selalu dilakukan guru untuk dapat mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan menumbuhkan karakter cinta terhadap budaya. Salah satunya adalah dengan menerapkan etnomatematika ke dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan studi literatur tentang bagaimana implementasi dari pembelajaran etnomatematika terhadap karakter cinta budaya serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Pencarian artikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2016 - 2022 yang berhubungan dengan pembelajaran etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter cinta budaya. Terdapat 9 artikel yang diperoleh dari database Google Scholar dan SINTA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran  etnomatematika secara efektif dapat membantu mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sekaligus karakter cinta budaya, implementasinya digunakan sebagai pendekatan yang melekat pada model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran.
