Abstract

This study analyzes various leadership styles' impact on educational management at Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. The research aims to explore how transformational and transactional leadership styles influence educational outcomes in this unique Islamic boarding school setting. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews and observations of school leaders, teachers, and students. Findings indicate that transformational leadership fosters a supportive and innovative learning environment, enhancing motivation and academic performance. In contrast, transactional leadership focuses on maintaining discipline and achieving short-term goals. The study highlights the critical role of adaptive leadership in managing educational processes effectively. Overall, effective leadership styles significantly shape educational management practices and contribute to achieving institutional goals in educational settings like Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor.

Abstract

In Sufism discourse, the concept of shadiq and al-shiddiq is an important and fundamental foundation for Sufism experts to begin their spiritual journey. The phenomenon of dishonesty is a very factual thing that is found today. This dishonesty will give birth to corruption, academic fraud, hoax news, fraud and so on. So this paper tries to provide a description of the interpretation of isyari carried out by al-Qusyairi on verses related to the concept of shadiq and al-shiddiq from the interpretation that leads to the interpretation of isyari. The research method that the author uses in this journal article is a qualitative descriptive study of a library research nature taken from books that are in accordance with the study of this journal article and other literature as the main object in this journal. In Tafsir al-Qusyairi Lathoif al-Isalun's explanation of the concepts of shadiq and al-shiddiq, it seems to reflect the tendency to try to reveal the inner meaning and Sufistic practices in the Qur'an, not only revealing the zahir meaning of the verses contained within but inviting us to use intuition to reveal the meaning behind the verses.

Abstract

This study investigates how discounts and shopping lifestyle influence impulsive purchases among Shopee users in Central Jakarta, with positive emotions as an intervening variable and viewed from an Islamic perspective. A total of 144 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data was collected through a questionnaire-based survey and analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and SPSS. The findings revealed that discounts do not directly affect impulsive purchases but do have a significant positive impact on positive emotions. In contrast, shopping lifestyle significantly influences both impulsive purchases and positive emotions. Furthermore, positive emotions significantly impact impulsive buying behavior and mediate the relationship between discounts and impulsive purchases, as well as between shopping lifestyle and impulsive purchases. From a managerial standpoint, businesses can strategically offer discounts during holidays or weekends to trigger positive emotions and boost sales. Enhancing the overall shopping experience through appealing app interfaces, engaging content, and responsive customer service can foster positive emotions that drive impulsive purchases. From an Islamic perspective, ethical marketing practices that avoid deception and encourage moderation in consumption should be upheld, ensuring that promotional efforts align with Islamic principles of fairness, honesty, and responsible consumer behavior.

Abstract

Application for polygamy permit made at the Krui Religious Court level. One of the polygamy practices that occurs in society. This study aims to analyse the Panel of Judges of the Krui Religious Court in its legal considerations in deciding case Number 0251/Pdt/2016/PA.Kr concerning the granting of polygamy permits. This research method uses the judicial case study type, namely the application of normative Law to certain legal events that give rise to conflicts of interest. The results of this Judge's consideration are that the Applicant has met the facultative reasons according to the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (2) letter (a) in conjunction with Article 57 letter (a). And has met the cumulative requirements as stipulated in Article 5, paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage in conjunction with Article 55, paragraph (2) and Article 58 of the Compilation of Islamic Law. The purpose of this writing is to serve as study material for judges and legal experts, scholars and students. The results of the study show that positive Law and Islamic Law have differences in considering permission, but both have the same goal, namely, to achieve justice. Judges making their decisions are not only based on the Law but also on the provisions contained in Islamic Law, one of which is that the Panel of Judges relies on the word of Allah in QS Al-Nisa / 4: 3. The submission of polygamy on the grounds of avoiding adultery, then the Applicant considers polygamy as the right solution. The implication of this study is the importance of considering psychological and sociological aspects in dealing with sexual dysfunction in married couples. This study highlights the legal considerations and jurisprudence of judges in cases of polygamy and the integration of positive norms and Islamic law.Keywords: Judge's considerations, Positive Law, Islamic Law, Polygamy

Abstract

The quality of Fiqh instruction at the Madrasah Aliyah level continues to face challenges, particularly in fostering student engagement and deep conceptual understanding of normative-reflective content. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving student learning outcomes on the topic of "Pillars and Conditions of Marriage" at MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi. Employing a quantitative approach with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, the study was conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through formative tests, classroom observations, and student motivation questionnaires, and analyzed using both descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The findings reveal an increase in students’ average scores from 69.30 in the first cycle to 75.77 in the second cycle, with mastery learning rising from 59% to 94%. Additionally, affective and psychomotor indicators showed substantial improvement. These results indicate that PBL is effective in fostering active student engagement and enhancing contextual understanding in Fiqh learning. The practical implication suggests the broader adoption of PBL in religious education to develop students’ holistic 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

The growing use of language is a result of the rapid development of technology and social media. In the modern context, what is meant is information and communication technology. Through communication using language aims to reach an agreement and understanding. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Arabic through social media as a universal communication tool. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a library research approach. The study area includes the fields of business economics, information dissemination, and plotik diplomacy. Data collection techniques are relevant documents and journals. Data analysis by reading, marking, and summarizing. The results prove that Arabic plays an important role in the field of business economics, this is supported by the existence of giant economic projects in Arab countries, and its geographical location is very strategic and supports the creative economy in Indonesia. Arabic is also a medium for disseminating global information. This is evidenced by the Arabic website Al-Jazeera, as well as international Arabic seminars. Technological advances also provide benefits in the field of Arabic language learning. Furthermore, the role of Arabic in the field of culture, with the holding of Al-Arabiyah Lil Funnun activities is evidence of the role of Arabic in the field of culture. While in the field of diplomacy, it certainly includes relations between countries and in the political field as evidenced by the existence of political movements such as the Arab Spring.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the procedures, functions, and benefits of educational evaluation in order to improve the quality of learning. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach and content analysis techniques applied to various scholarly sources and policy documents. The findings indicate that educational evaluation must be conducted systematically, encompassing planning, implementation, supervision, and result analysis, using valid and reliable instruments. Evaluation serves as a tool for selection, diagnosis, feedback, and accountability, and provides significant benefits in enhancing learning quality, student motivation, curriculum development, and the assessment of teacher and institutional performance. Therefore, evaluation must be understood and implemented objectively and continuously as a strategic effort to support educational transformation and quality improvement.

Abstract

Abstrak: Islam memandang anak sebagai karunia yang mahal harganya yang berstatus suci. Karunia yang mahal ini sebagai amanah yang harus dijaga dan dilindungi oleh orang tua khususnya, karena anak sebagai aset orang tua dan aset bangsa. Islam telah memberikan perhatian yang besar terhadap perlindungan anak-anak. Perlindungan dalam Islam meliputi fisik, psikis, intelektual, moral, ekonomi, dan lainnya. Abstract

Hukum dibuat untuk mengatur tata hidup manusia agar dapat saling menjaga keharmonisan hidup bersama. Sebab, manusia adalah makhluk sosial yang saling membutuhkan dalam memenuhi hajat hidupnya. Termasuk di dalamnya adalah hajat untuk makan dan minum. Islam, sebagai agama dengan penganut terbesar di Indonesia memiliki tuntunan khusus terkait makanan dan minuman, yakni harus halal dan baikHal inilah yang membuat peneliti tertarik untuk membahas kajian mengenai progres sertifikasi Halal di Indonesia dengan rumusan masalah: Pertama, Bagaimana kesiapan Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) dalam mengimplementasikan Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal. Kedua, Apa implikasi dari Pergeseran Kewenangan yang melakukan sertifikasi dari LPPOM MUI kepada Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH). Ketiga, Faktor apa saja yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat dalam mengimplementasikan UU Nomor 33 Tahun 2014? Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori maslahah, teori penememuan hukum Islam (ijtihad) dan teori kodifikasi hukum. Hasil dari pembahasan dalam penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, secara normatif Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) telah siap dalam mengimplementasikan Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal. Kedua, terdapat dua implikasi dari Pergeseran Kewenangan yang melakukan sertifikasi dari LPPOM MUI kepada Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH), yakni implikasi positif yang ditandai dengan kuatnya ketentuan terkait sertifikasi produk halal, dan implikasi negatif masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pelaksanaan proses sertifikasi produk halal tersebut. Ketiga, kesiapan SDM, pemanfaan teknologi informasi, birokrasi dan komunikasi antar institusi terkait, serta pemahaman masyarakat menjadi faktor yang memengaruhi dalam implementasikan UU Nomor 33 Tahun 2014.KATA KUNCI: Progres, Voluntary, Mandatory

Abstract

In the zakah regulations in Indonesia, it is explained that zakah is an asset that must be issued by a Muslim or a business entity to be given to those who have the right to receive it in accordance with Islamic law. And the generality of the word “business entity” includes State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), and Swata-Owned Enterprises (BUMS). In accordance with Islamic law, zakah assets is required for assets with the status of milk al-tâm (perfect ownership), which are owned by muzakkî in the form of individuals or business entities. The problem in this study is the ownership rights of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and its relation to the obligation of zakah, which is known that the assets/shares owned by BUMN are assets owned by the state. This research is library research, using primary, secondary and tertiary legal data. In addition, this research is descriptive qualitative by using a juridical, philosophical, historical approach. After the data has been collected, the next step is to analyze the existing data using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the available data, it is concluded that the right of ownership of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) is perfect ownership (milk al-tâm) which is one of the obligatory objects of zakah.Keywords: Company Zakah, Ownership Rights, State Owned Enterprises (BUMN)
