Abstract

University students' nutritional status serves as a vital indicator for evaluating human resource quality in higher education. Despite their knowledge in nutrition and health, public health students are not immune to overweight risks due to lifestyle changes during college life. This study analyzed the relationship between eating habits and physical activity with overweight incidence among public health students at Faculty of Public Health, Nusa Cendana University. A cross-sectional study was conducted in March-April 2025 involving 210 students selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using validated questionnaires and analyzed using chi-square tests with 95% confidence interval. The study found significant relationships between eating habits and overweight incidence (p=0.041<0.05) and between physical activity and overweight incidence (p=0.041<0.05). Among students with good eating habits, 27.4% were overweight, while 25.8% of those with poor eating habits were overweight. For physical activity, 19.7% of students with good physical activity levels were overweight compared to 35.5% with poor physical activity levels. Both eating habits and physical activity significantly influence overweight incidence among public health students, highlighting the need for integrated health promotion programs.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 1 Padarincang mengenai dampak positif dan dampak negatif dari penggunaan media sosial serta membentuk karakter remaja yang cerdas, kritis, dan beretika dalam bermedia sosial. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi, khususnya media sosial, memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap perilaku dan pola pikir remaja. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan secara tatap muka dan interaktif, tim pengabdi memberikan materi, diskusi, dan permainan edukatif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dalam menggunakan media sosial secara bijak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme peserta yang tinggi dan adanya peningkatan pemahaman terkait etika digital, literasi media, serta pentingnya menjaga Kesehatan mental di era media digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi Langkah awal dalam menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya melek teknologi, tetapi juga memiliki karakter yang kuat dan bertanggung jawab dalam dunia maya maupun nyata.

Abstract

Gastritis is a digestive disorder caused by inflammation of the stomach that often occurs among students. Unhealthy lifestyles such as irregular eating patterns and high stress are the main risk factors for gastritis. Nusa Cendana University is a relevant location to conduct this survey because of the large number of students and the habit of consuming regional specialties that have the potential to trigger gastritis. This study aims to analyze the relationship between stress levels and eating patterns with the incidence of gastritis in Nusa Cendana University students. This study used a rapid survey design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 210 students was selected using the cluster random sampling technique using the Csurvey application. The independent variables consisted of eating patterns and stress, while the dependent variable was the incidence of gastritis. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, and secondary data were obtained from the Kupang City Health Office and Nusa Cendana University. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results of the study were that out of 210 respondents, the majority of students who had poor eating patterns and experienced stress tended to experience gastritis. The results of the chi-square test showed a significant relationship between eating patterns and stress with the incidence of gastritis, where the p-value = 0,000. So it can be concluded that poor diet and high stress levels can increase the risk of gastritis in students at Nusa Cendana University in 2025.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh permasalahan rendahnya mutu proses dan capaian belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas IV SDN 031/VI Rantau Panjang. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan proses serta hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang nyata dalam proses maupun hasil belajar. Observasi terhadap aktivitas guru meningkat dari 69,04% pada siklus I menjadi 83,33% di siklus II, sedangkan aktivitas siswa naik dari 60% menjadi 85%. Tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar juga mengalami kenaikan dari 64,75% pada siklus pertama menjadi 81,25% pada siklus kedua. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam mendorong keaktifan belajar dan memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPAS. Oleh karena itu, model PBL layak dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada pembelajaran aktif, bermakna, dan berpihak pada siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how teachers implement humanitarian values in forming polite attitudes through PPKN learning. To find out and describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for teachers in implementing humanitarian values in forming polite attitudes through PPKn learning for class VII students of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan. research object”. The informants in this study were the principal, vice principal for curriculum, PPKn subject teachers, BK teachers, students in grades VII D and VII E. The type of research used in this study was qualitative with descriptive methods. The implementation of humanitarian values in shaping students' politeness through PPKn learning in grade VII of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan has been going well, by teaching the application of Pancasila values through PPKn learning, teacher role models, habituating politeness, collaboration with all school members, handling challenges and obstacles, as well as reflection and evaluation. So that politeness can be embedded in students well. There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of humanitarian values in shaping students' politeness through PPKn learning in grade VII of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan. The implementation of humanitarian values in shaping students' politeness through PPKn learning in grade VII of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan is expected to have continuous implementation efforts so as to shape students' politeness better and there is good planning in implementing humanitarian values so that with good planning This can facilitate teachers and all related parties in implementing humanitarian values consistently, integratedly, and comprehensively.

Abstract

An agreement can be understood that an agreement is an agreed action to be carried out by someone with someone, several people with several other people (one party with another party). In law, if an act results in the law, the act is called a legal act, where legal actions are agreements entered into by the parties. Default is a bad performance or breach of contract which means that the obligations are not carried out properly as imposed by the contract. The above problems will be answered by the author by conducting field research, the data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using field studies, namely interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with Service Users who perform courier services in delivering goods (packages) in Kampung Mesjid Village, Kualuh Hilir District, Labuhan Batu Utara Regency. This data processing technique is after the data is complete and collected. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the use of courier services in online buying and selling in Kampung Mesjid Village, Kualuh Hilir District, Labuhan Batu Utara Regency, couriers have broken promises in delivering goods. The review of the Compilation of Sharia Economic Law on the Use of Courier Services in Online Buying and Selling who does not break promises is contained in article 36 regarding breaking promises: Not doing what he promised to do. Carry out what was promised, but not as promised. Doing what was promised but late, or doing something that according to the agreement should not be done.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance at the Social Services Office of Palopo City. The research problem addressed is how organizational culture and work discipline influence employee performance both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. The population consisted of all 32 employees of the Social Services Office of Palopo City, with the entire population taken as the sample (saturated sampling). Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques comprised descriptive analysis, validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R). The results indicate that organizational culture and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.011 0.05, and work discipline also has a significant effect, with a significance value of 0.001 0.05. Simultaneously, the significance value of 0.000 0.05 shows that both independent variables together affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R) of 0.785 indicates that 78.5% of the variation in employee performance is influenced by organizational culture and work discipline, while the remaining 21.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam proses pembelajaran dan menganalisis hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 5 Palopo. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, sedangkan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 5 Palopo dilakukan melalui tiga langkah utama, yaitu penyusunan alur tujuan pembelajaran, pengembangan perangkat ajar, serta pelaksanaan proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, dan guru secara kolaboratif. Dari sisi hasil belajar, ditemukan bahwa siswa telah menunjukkan capaian yang bervariasi pada ranah kognitif (pemahaman materi dan keterampilan berpikir kritis), ranah afektif (sikap, motivasi, dan partisipasi aktif), serta ranah psikomotorik (kemampuan praktik, kreativitas, dan kerja sama kelompok). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa, meskipun masih terdapat keterbatasan sarana, perbedaan motivasi antar siswa, dan perlunya penguatan kompetensi guru. Penelitian ini terbatas pada satu sekolah sehingga generalisasi hasilnya masih perlu dikaji lebih luas, dan disarankan penelitian lanjutan dilakukan pada jenjang dan konteks sekolah yang berbeda agar diperoleh gambaran lebih komprehensif tentang efektivitas implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The increasingly competitive culinary business in Ambon City requires business owners to enhance service quality to attract consumer purchase intentions. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on consumer purchase intention at Serba Ayam Restaurant, Kebun Cengkeh. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey technique using questionnaires distributed to 55 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions and purchase intention. The results indicate that service quality, which includes physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, significantly influences consumer purchase intention, with the greatest contribution coming from reliability and responsiveness. The findings confirm that improving service quality can effectively drive consumer buying interest. The implication of this study emphasizes the need for restaurant managers to continually improve service standards according to consumer needs and recommends regular staff training to provide the best service and enhance customer loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of the role, problems, and strategies developed by BK teachers in facing challenges in schools located in Islamic boarding schools, especially in MANU Putri Buntet Pesantren. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were obtained through interviews, field observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that BK teachers face various internal and external problems, including limited facilities and infrastructure, negative perceptions of BK services, and gaps between counseling approaches and traditional Islamic boarding school values. In responding to these challenges, BK teachers develop collaborative strategies, Islamic value-based approaches, and service method innovations. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening the role of BK teachers in the context of Islamic boarding schools to create counseling services that are culturally, spiritually, and academically relevant. This study provides conceptual and practical contributions to the development of BK service models based on values ​​and local contexts.
