Abstract

Green tea extract is a popular beverage known for its health benefits. To increase its market appeal, understanding the sensory profiles—taste, aroma, and color—of green tea extract is essential to ensure customer satisfaction. In this study, experiments were conducted to determine the optimal extraction conditions by varying extraction times (3 or 6 minutes) and temperatures (60°C, 80°C, or 100°C) in two brewing methods: (1) a relay-controlled brewing system utilizing Arduino, and (2) a standard brewing process without automated control. Sensory evaluations were conducted by 30 untrained panelists using a 9-point hedonic scale.. Decision-making methods, Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), were then applied to identify the most preferred product. Results indicated that the highest taste score was achieved by the 80°C-6 min sample, while the best aroma and color scores were observed in the 100°C-3 min sample. Overall, the decision-making process using the combination of ROC and SAW methods concluded that the green tea extract from the 100°C-3 min sample was the most preferred by the panelists.

Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the Application of Health Protocols at the Untan Library UPTServices during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The purpose of the study was to determinethe application of health protocols to Untan Library services and the obstacles facedby the Untan Library in implementing health protocols. This study uses descriptivequalitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviewsand documentation. The data sources of this research are the head of the library,librarians and users. The results showed that the Untan Library UPT opened allservices during the covid-19 pandemic with the stipulation of health protocols for allservices. So that the service process that takes place is carried out in a different way,namely the obligation to apply 3M (washing hands, wearing masks, maintainingdistance) when entering the library, the process of borrowing collections, returningcollections, using collections in on-site reading services and providing online servicesfor users who will make loan free letter. The obstacles faced are the concerns oflibrarians in serving users during the pandemic, users who do not comply with healthprotocols and users' dissatisfaction with services.Keywords: Covid-19 Pandemic, Health Protocol, Library Service, Service Process.

Abstract

The results of this study explain several aspects regarding multicultural education in the perspective of Islamic education. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Collecting data is by using literature study techniques, namely data collected by going through several stages of review originating from books, notes, literature and various reports related to the problem to be solved from various sources both from journals and books. The results of this study indicate the aspects discussed in multicultural education in an Islamic perspective consisting of: (1) the notion of multiculturalism, this multiculturalism, is an ideology which places more emphasis on equality in cultural diversity, (2) the principle of multicultural education, in principle Multicultural education is education that gives respect to diversity, (3) multicultural characteristics in an Islamic view, the characteristics of multicultural education in an Islamic education perspective can be identified through seven components, namely studying life in society with differences that occur in an idea or we call it a concept ( ideology), respecting three mutual aspects (understanding, respect, and mutual trust), having openness in thinking, appreciating and so on, (4) the purpose of multicultural education, multicultural education aims to form individuals who have understanding, appreciation, and skills in dealing with diversity culture, religion, and ethnic background that exist in society. ABSTRAKHasil penelitian ini menjelaskan beberapa aspek-aspek berkenaan dengan pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Mengumpulkan data adalah dengan memakai teknik studi kepustakaan, yaitu data dikumpulkan dengan melalui beberapa tahap telaah yang berasal dari buku, catatan, literature dan berbagai laporan terkait masalah yang akan dipecahkan dari berbagai sumber baik dari jurnal dan buku-buku. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan aspek-aspek yang dibahas pada pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif Islam yang terdiri dari : (1) pengertian multikultural, multikulturalisme ini, merupakan sebuah ideologi yang dimana lebih menekankan  pada kesetaraan dalam keragaman budaya, (2) prinsip pendidikan multikultural, secara prinsip pendidikan multikultural adalah pendidikan yang memberikan penghargaan terhadap keragaman, (3) karakteristik multikultural dalam pandangan Islam, karakteristik pendidikan multikultural dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam dapat diidentifikasi melalui tujuh komponen, yaitu mempelajari kehidupan dalam masyarakat dengan perbedaan yang terjadi pada sebuah gagasan atau kita sebut sebagai konsep (ideologi), menghormati tiga aspek mutual (pengertian, penghargaan, dan saling yakin), memiliki keterbukaan dalam berpikir, mengapresiasi dan sebagainya, (4) tujuan pendidikan multikultural, pendidikan multikultural bertujuan untuk membentuk individu yang memiliki pemahaman, penghargaan, dan keterampilan dalam menghadapi keragaman budaya, agama, dan latar belakang etnis yang ada dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of learning and student responses to animated film learning media on mathematical representation skills. The method used is development research with the ADDIE model (Analysis-Design-Development-Implement-Evaluate). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu with research subjects being 26 students in grade VIII. The instruments used were validation sheets, response questionnaires, and representative ability tests. Data analysis in this study was validity, effectiveness, and practicality. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the media and materials reached an average of 82.97% with very valid criteria, practicality reached an average of 81.80%, and effectiveness reached 76.92%. From the results of the study, it was concluded that animation-based learning media is feasible to be developed and has met the criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

The use of Japanese particles remains a challenge for students, as they often struggle to distinguish particle functions, determine their correct positions within sentences, and maintain focus during learning activities. Therefore, a word arrangement game was implemented in the learning process. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the word arrangement game in improving students’ mastery of basic Japanese particles. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design involving 62 eleventh-grade students of MAN 2 Pekanbaru, divided into experimental and control classes. The research instruments consisted of pretest and posttest items totaling 30 questions, analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, independent t-test, and Mann–Whitney U test. The results showed that the experimental class obtained a higher posttest mean score (72.19) than the control class (56.77), with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the word arrangement game is effective in enhancing students’ mastery of Japanese particles, although their overall achievement remains in the low category. The particles most frequently used in students’ constructed sentences were wa, o, no, and de.

Abstract

 Asuransi sendiri berasal dari istilah bahasa Inggris, yaitu insurance yang memiliki arti jaminan. Lebih dalam lagi asuransi merupakan suatu mekanisme pengalihan risiko yang mungkin dapat menimpa tertanggung. Pada tahun 2023 klaim asuransi yang diajukan sebanyak 3.502,70 jiwa, sedangkan pada tahun 2024 klaim yang diajukan sebanyak 2.283,60 jiwa. Berdasarkan banyaknya klaim yang sudah diajukan oleh masyarakat, maka prosedur pengajuan klaim menjadi penting dan layak untuk dikaji. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana prosedur klaim asuransi pada PT. Asuransi Mega Pratama Indonesia Cabang. Jambi.  Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa di PT. Asuransi Mega Pratama Indonesia Cab. Jambi memiliki tiga jenis prosedur klaim sebagai berikut: 1. Tahap pelaporan, Dalam prosedur klaim asuransi, tahap pelaporan adalah saat nasabah atau pihak terkait melaporkan peristiwa yang menyebabkan kerugian kepada perusahaan asuransi untuk meminta kompensasi sesuai dengan polis asuransi. Untuk memastikan klaim dapat diproses dengan cepat dan sesuai prosedur, tahap pelaporan adalah langkah awal dalam proses klaim, yang mencakup pemberitahuan resmi ke perusahaan asuransi, formulir pengisian , dan penyertaan dokumen pendukung.2. Tahap Penelitian Klaim. Dalam prosedur asuransi, prosedur penelitian klaim biasanya terdiri dari beberapa langkah penting.3. Keputusan Klaim. Keputusan klaim adalah hasil dari proses evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan asuransi setelah melakukan penelitian dan penilaian atas klaim yang dikeluarkan oleh pemegang polis

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how teachers implement humanitarian values in forming polite attitudes through PPKN learning. To find out and describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for teachers in implementing humanitarian values in forming polite attitudes through PPKn learning for class VII students of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan. research object”. The informants in this study were the principal, vice principal for curriculum, PPKn subject teachers, BK teachers, students in grades VII D and VII E. The type of research used in this study was qualitative with descriptive methods. The implementation of humanitarian values in shaping students' politeness through PPKn learning in grade VII of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan has been going well, by teaching the application of Pancasila values through PPKn learning, teacher role models, habituating politeness, collaboration with all school members, handling challenges and obstacles, as well as reflection and evaluation. So that politeness can be embedded in students well. There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of humanitarian values in shaping students' politeness through PPKn learning in grade VII of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan. The implementation of humanitarian values in shaping students' politeness through PPKn learning in grade VII of SMP Negeri 03 Solok Selatan is expected to have continuous implementation efforts so as to shape students' politeness better and there is good planning in implementing humanitarian values so that with good planning This can facilitate teachers and all related parties in implementing humanitarian values consistently, integratedly, and comprehensively.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Rendahnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi pada siswa sekolah dasar, terutama di wilayah pedesaan dengan keterbatasan fasilitas pembelajaran, menjadi tantangan penting dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan dasar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa melalui pendekatan aktivitas fisik edukatif yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik belajar kinestetik anak. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan deskriptif kualitatif, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan siswa dan lingkungan belajar, perancangan aktivitas fisik edukatif berbasis literasi dan numerasi, implementasi kegiatan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi hasil kegiatan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan penilaian perkembangan kemampuan siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Nadung, Kecamatan Payung, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan, dengan melibatkan 15 siswa kelas rendah sekolah dasar. Aktivitas pembelajaran dirancang dalam bentuk permainan edukatif, antara lain Lompat Huruf, Gerak Angka, dan Estafet Cerita, yang mengintegrasikan unsur gerak, bahasa, dan matematika secara terpadu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, kemampuan fonetik, pengenalan huruf, pemahaman angka, serta kemampuan mengidentifikasi pola bilangan. Selain itu, pendekatan aktivitas fisik edukatif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, konsentrasi, kerja sama, serta perkembangan sosial-emosional siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, model pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas fisik edukatif ini mudah diterapkan, relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa sekolah dasar di daerah pedesaan, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan literasi dan numerasi. Temuan ini mendukung implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar yang menekankan pembelajaran aktif, menyenangkan, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Kata kunci: Literasi, Numerasi, Aktivitas Fisik Edukatif, Sekolah Dasar ABSTRACTThe low levels of literacy and numeracy skills among elementary school students, particularly in rural areas with limited learning facilities, present a significant challenge in efforts to improve the quality of basic education. This community service program aims to enhance students’ literacy and numeracy abilities through educational physical activity approaches tailored to the kinesthetic learning characteristics of children. The program was implemented in Nadung Village, Payung District, South Bangka, involving 15 lower-grade students. The implementation stages included needs analysis, the design of educational physical activities, the execution of games such as Letter Jump, Number Move, and Story Relay, as well as the evaluation of students’ skill development. The results indicate a significant improvement in student engagement, phonetic skills, letter recognition, number comprehension, and the ability to identify number patterns. In addition, this approach effectively enhanced students’ motivation, concentration, collaboration, and socio-emotional development throughout the learning process. Overall, the educational physical activity model proved to be easy to implement, relevant to the needs of elementary school students, and contributed positively to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes. These findings also support the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) policy, which emphasizes active, enjoyable, and student-centered learning. Keywords: Literacy, Numeracy, Educational Physical Activities, Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemebelajaran PAI berwawasan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa betapa pentingnya peran pendidikan agama Islam dalam upaya mengatur dan memelihara keseimbangan lingkungan hidup. Disadari atau tidak, kita telah merasakan dampak dari permasalahan lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh keserakahan manusia dalam mengeksploitasi sumber daya alam yang ada di bumi ini. Sehingga dari situ dapat menyebabkan berbagai bencana alam, seperti halnya banjir, tanah longsor, dan lain-lain. Padahal secara fitrahnya, manusia diciptakan oleh Allah di muka bumi ini tugasnya hanya sebagai pemelihara keseimbangan alam lingkungan ini. Dengan demikian, diharapkan melalui penanaman pendidikan agama Islam berwawasan lingkungan, agar dapat melatih pribadi manusia menjadi hamba Allah yang benar-benar menjadi khalifah fil ardi, bukan hamba yang berbuat mafsadat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of the role, problems, and strategies developed by BK teachers in facing challenges in schools located in Islamic boarding schools, especially in MANU Putri Buntet Pesantren. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were obtained through interviews, field observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that BK teachers face various internal and external problems, including limited facilities and infrastructure, negative perceptions of BK services, and gaps between counseling approaches and traditional Islamic boarding school values. In responding to these challenges, BK teachers develop collaborative strategies, Islamic value-based approaches, and service method innovations. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening the role of BK teachers in the context of Islamic boarding schools to create counseling services that are culturally, spiritually, and academically relevant. This study provides conceptual and practical contributions to the development of BK service models based on values ​​and local contexts.
