Abstract

In 2020, there will be 1% bulk sugar product returns. Direct return to warehouse; it is not known how much and what kind of sugar was returned. Changes in the number of uncontrolled product availability occur in the logistics sector. We designed a sugar volume return mechanism to verify the identity of the buyer, the amount and time of the transaction, using the steps of investigation, analysis, and system design that can implement. The application is based on the truffle test framework and smart contracts on the Ropsten test network on the Ethereum Metamask platform wallet, localhost memory, and a decentralized web-based dashboard. Input data on the smart contract so that during the Ropsten net test process, it will generate blocks, hash codes, and contract hashes as transaction details. It also displays a summary report and a blockchain transaction dashboard. How much volume will increase or decrease due to returns, buyers, type of sugar commodity, time, and volume of sugar during data transactions is known. The features developed for smart contracts are private, semi-public transactions with consensus proof of work as validation and verification of the success of transaction data records.

Abstract

The globalization of free trade has caused imported food to become an alternative consumption because of the ease of consumption, such as fast food. Wheat demand fluctuates due to increased demand for making wheat flour by factories around the port area. Indonesia, which does not have productive wheat plantations, imports to meet national needs. The stakeholders in the wheat supply and distribution chain are the ports where transport ships from abroad dock. In the Banten region, the Cigading port is a loading and unloading port for wheat, corn and other agricultural grain commodities. Partner companies manage the delivery of farm commodities from loading and unloading with the help of transportation modes such as trucks, trains and conveyors for factories around the port. Imported wheat from country A is docked at the port, the loading and unloading process and delivered to several warehouses between the dry warehouse at the port and the surrounding factory warehouse. The method of transporting wheat commodities is by trucks and trains when shipping. The research aimed to optimize the number of grain truck transportation modes so that minimum distribution costs per truck can be obtained using the integer linear programming method. Minimize total distribution costs of $435.5, with truck routes sending wheat to dry warehouses inside the port and factory warehouses outside the port 12 times back and forth. That is caused by weather, long loading and unloading times, limited transportation capacity, and irregular truck queues. Keywords: distribution costs, imported, truck ration, wheat, wheat flour

Abstract

Comprehension is the foundation of problem-solving; without proper understanding, students will struggle to solve problems correctly. This research aims to identify specific types of mathematical comprehension errors in primary school students based on indicators from Newman's theory. By using Newman's error analysis framework, the study gives a detailed, step-by-step look at how students lose comprehension. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with three third-grade students as subjects, selected based on their level of mathematical ability (high, medium, low) determined through a diagnostic test. The results of the data analysis show that across the three student ability levels analyzed, the data revealed distinct patterns in the types of comprehension breakdowns encountered. High-performing students demonstrated minimal comprehension errors, successfully identifying key information. In contrast, mid-level students exhibited more significant issues linking the available information. The lowest-performing students showed the most fundamental misunderstandings, incorrectly identifying basic facts. These findings imply the need for a teaching approach that emphasizes contextual understanding and the development of mathematical literacy in comprehending story-based problems. Integrating evidence-based methods like problem-based learning, which have been shown to improve mathematical literacy in primary students, could help address the comprehension challenges observed in this study.

Abstract

PT PFS is a subsidiary of PT BJ specially serving of port services. PT PFS need to shift FSO Ardjuna Sakti from jetty 1.6-1.7 to the new jetty (jetty 4.5-4.6) because PT PFS has some problems and activity plans. The problems are teh increased of commercial demand, the development jetty 3 of port CDG, the Berth Occupation Ratio (BOR) which already exceeds 65%, the expansion plan of PT BJ and the need for flexibility on the jetty 1.5-1.8. Therefore, it is necessary to do the analysis of shifting the FSO Ardjuna Sakti. The method use in this study is comparing the financial analysis using manual calculation and system dynamics simulation. The financial analysis uses in this study are Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period, Net Present Value (NPV) and comparing revenue and profit between FSO Ardjuna Sakti in jetty 1.6-17 and jetty 4.5-4.6. The result of the study showed that the IRR is 14,73%, it is exceed than the MARR of BI rate 6,5%, Payback Period is 5 years so investment will comeback at 5 next years, and the value of the NPV with manual and system dynamics simulation has both positive value or exceed than 0 (zero). The result of manual calculation of NPV is Rp.15.369.374.455 and the result of system dynamics simulation is Rp.1.184.863.983.489. Comparing manual calculation and system dynamics simulation of revenue and profit of FSO Ardjuna Sakti in jetty 1.6-1.7 respectively is Rp.2.384.292.880 and Rp.2.125719.660 whilst in jetty 4.5-4.6 respectively is Rp.9.015.993.344 and Rp.6.761.995.008. From those financial methods compared manually and by system dynamics simulation, we can conclude the investment decisions are feasible. And activity of shifting FSO Ardjuna Sakti from jetty 1.6-1.7 to the jetty 4.5-4.6 is appropriate to do.
