Abstract

This study aims to (1) implement the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted Video and Interactive Simulation (GDM-VIS) in physics learning on the concept of statistical fluids; (2) identify the relationship between students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a pre-experimental research employing One Shoot Case Study design. The learning model and instruments that have been developed were used in a class of 38 students before the distance learning was applied. The data of learning motivation were obtained through motivation questionnaire, while learning outcome data were obtained by means of a conceptual understanding test instrument. To see whether there is a correlation between students’ motivation and learning outcomes, the Bivariate Pearson analysis with SPSS was used. Based on the results of the analysis, the value obtained based on the value or relationship (R) was 0.613. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.375, meaning that the effect of learning motivation with the application of GDM-VIS toward concept understanding is 37.5%. Based on the Output Coefficients, decision making in a simple regression test, and based on the significance value of the Coefficients table, it was obtained that the significance value was 0.00 <0.05, which means that the application of the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted with Video and Interactive Simulation affects the students’ concept understanding. This study implies that the learning using simulations with systematic stages can improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop physics practicum guidelines that can improve students' scientific reasoning. The development of practicum guidelines in this study was based on the principles of the Higher Order Thinking Laboratory (HOT-Lab). Using the ADDIE design, which consists of five stages: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate, general physics practicum guidelines are developed in three parts, namely pre-practicum, lab, and post-practicum. The participants involved consisted of two groups: five experts and 88 students taking general physics courses. The pre-practicum stage is the part that distinguishes this practicum guideline from conventional practicum guidelines, where students are presented with "real-world problems" and opportunities to make hypotheses. The results showed that the practicum guideline products developed were deemed feasible and effective for developing students' scientific reasoning. This study shows that students' scientific reasoning for using practicum guidelines based on HOT-Lab principles is significantly higher than those who use conventional practicum guidelines. In conclusion, the guideline developed was valid, feasible, and effective in improving students’ scientific reasoning. This study recommends considering the features of the HOT-Lab practicum activities to be used for similar practicum activities in other places or relevant courses.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan kompetensi penting dalam pembelajaran fisika, namun banyak siswa masih mengalami kesulitan terutama pada materi Gerak Lurus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan tantangan siswa serta guru dalam pembelajaran fisika, dan mengeksplorasi potensi efektivitas Modeling Instruction dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan dukungan data kualitatif. Instrumen angket disebarkan kepada 31 siswa kelas XI.5 MAN 3 Jakarta, dan wawancara dilakukan terhadap satu guru fisika serta dua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa mengalami hambatan dalam menggunakan konsep fisika dan merancang strategi penyelesaian soal. Wawancara juga mengungkapkan bahwa siswa kesulitan memahami grafik, memilih rumus yang tepat, serta berpikir abstrak. Guru dan siswa menyatakan ketertarikan terhadap pembelajaran berbasis model yang lebih visual dan kontekstual. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Modeling Instruction relevan diterapkan untuk menjawab kebutuhan konseptual siswa dan mendukung keterampilan pemecahan masalah secara reflektif dan menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran KIT Smart-System with Solar Panel and Sound Sensor berbasis pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) guna meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pengenalan instrumen digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validasi media dilakukan dengan 10 expert judgement, dengan hasil kelayakan rata-rata 92% pada aspek alat dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), serta validasi instrumen pembelajaran memperoleh nilai CVI sebesar 1,00. Kepraktisan diuji menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) dan memperoleh skor tertinggi pada skala Attractiveness (1,44) dan Stimulation (1,42), yang menunjukkan respon sangat positif. Efektivitas media dianalisis melalui n-Gain dengan rata-rata skor pre-test 40,5 dan post-test 78,2, menghasilkan nilai n-Gain sebesar 0,62 (62%), yang tergolong cukup efektif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa KIT Smart-System sangat layak, praktis, dan cukup efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika berbasis pendekatan STEM secara optimal dan berlanjutan.

Abstract

The progress of a region is inextricably linked to the development of education within that region. The presence of digital marketing courses and training institutions contributes to regional development, and digital marketing is a key driver of business advancement. Digital marketing courses and training institutions continually strive to improve their learning to produce competent graduates. Participants' competency in digital marketing at the Ruang Kaji Akademi Course and Training Institute, located in Aek Ledong District, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra, was inadequate. Recognizing this issue, innovation in learning was deemed crucial. Therefore, researchers conducted a study on the development of a Visme-based video training program to enhance engaging digital marketing skills. This study employed the Research and Development method and the ADDIE development model, which has five steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study also conducted an effectiveness test using the N-gein formula, resulting in an increase in the score of 0.76, categorized as highly effective, exceeding the standard effectiveness value of >0.56. These results indicate that the developed video training is effective for use in learning.

Abstract

The lack of Mixed-Reality (MR)-based teaching materials developed for vocational high school students is an obstacle in supporting their readiness to face the challenges of Industry 4.0. This study aims to design of Mixed-Reality (MR) technology-based instructional materials to enhance students' computer assembly competencies. The research method employed is research and development (R&D) using the Four-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects consisted of one teacher and 32 tenth-grade students as test subjects. Data were collected through validation questionnaires (media, materials, and instructional design), pretest and posttest, and student response questionnaires. Research instruments included expert validation sheets, multiple-choice test questions, and student attitude questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive analysis and gain scores to measure competency improvement. The research results indicate that MR-based instructional materials are highly feasible, with an average validation score of 3.51. Their application in learning significantly improved students' computer assembly competencies, with an average increase of 13.5 points and 61.1% of students achieving moderate to high gain scores. The conclusion of this study is that MR-based instructional materials are proven to be effective and feasible for enhancing vocational high school students' practical competencies. The implications of this study highlight the importance of integrating immersive technology into vocational education as an effort to bridge the gap between theory and practice and equip students with 21st-century skills.

Abstract

Online games are very popular among students in Indonesia today and have a significant impact on their behaviour. These games use the internet, allowing players to interact with one another from different locations. This is the main reason why online games are so popular. Technological advances should function as tools and media to support student learning in schools, families, and communities. The purpose of this study was to identify students’ online gaming habits, their behaviour in extracurricular activities, and the negative effects of online gaming on learning time at school. The research employed a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Data were collected from the principal, supervising teachers, and students who participated in extracurricular activities such as basketball, music, and scouting at Senior High School through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis revealed three major impacts of online games on student behaviour. First, students have been playing online games since 2019, with the most common games being Mobile Legends, Free Fire, and Player Unknown’s Battle Grounds. Second, students’ behaviour while playing online games includes feelings of enjoyment, excitement, challenge, and frustration. Third, the positive impacts of online games include easier interaction, stress relief, and improved teamwork, while the negative impacts include neglecting schoolwork, using foul language, and engaging in fights. The results of this study can serve as initial data for further research on this issue in different contexts and settings.

Abstract

The persistent of socio-economic inequality in Indonesia and Malaysia frames this study, which positions zakat as a potential religious-social instrument for economic empowerment. This research aims to critically compare the effectiveness of zakat management systems in both countries and analyze the factors influencing their performance. Employing a library research, this study conducts a systematic review and comparative analysis of academic literature, official publications from zakat institutions, government policy documents, and relevant reports spanning 2015-2023. The key findings indicate that system centralization and regulatory integration are pivotal; Malaysia’s state-coordinated system demonstrates higher collection efficiency and programmatic structure, while Indonesia’s decentralized model faces challenges in transparency, public trust, and infrastructural coordination that hinder optimal distribution. The conclusion argues that beyond political will, the effectiveness of zakat as an empowerment tool is fundamentally tied to institutional governance, professional management, and strategic alignment with broader economic policies, necessitating systemic reforms for greater impact.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur transaksi pengolahan yang sedang berjalan di Bank Sampah Durian 3 dan membantu lembaga tersebut dalam melakukan pemrosesan transaksi pengolahan sehingga dapat memberitahukan tentang laporan data transaksi yang tersedia dan menyajikan pengolahan data tentang barang yang masuk dengan cepat dan akurat sehingga dapat menghasilkan informasi yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam sistem informasi ini adalah metode Grounded Research yaitu metodologi penelitian kualitatif yang menekankan penemuan teori dari data observasi empirik di lapangan dengan metoda induktif menemukan teori dari sejumlah data, Tahapan penelitian dilakukan observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan ketua perihal untuk menyesuaikan keinginan dalam sistem informasi pengolahan bank sampah. Dalam hal lain juga mendeskripsikan penelitian dengan menggunakan referensi serta buku dan media lainnya yang memuat informasi yang dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian Sistem informasi pengolahan ini diharapkan dapat membantu penggunanya dalam pemrosesan transaksi barang menjadi lebih cepat, efektif dan efisien.Kata Kunci :sistem informasi,Pengolahan,Bank Sampah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah membuat aplikasi siste informasi yang akan mempermudah pengguna dalam melakukan pendataan obat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development yaitu melalukan sebuah penelitan dan mengembangkan sebuah produk yang sudah ada sebelumnya tahapan penelitian ini penulis melakukan wawancara dan observasi langsung ke tempat dan juga membaca penelitan terdahulu (studi literatur). Peneliianini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Juli 2021.Lokasi yang menjadi tempat penelitian ini adalah Klinik Tine yang beralamat di Jl. Talas IV No.5, Pd. Cabe Ilir, Kec. Pamulang, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten 15418. Hasil penelitian diputuskan membuat sebuah sistem informasi persediaan obat berbasis java netbeans dan menggunakan MySQL untuk perancangan basis data, dengan menggunakan sistem informasi persediaan obat klinik tine dapat mempermudah pekerjaan admin dan apoteker.Kata Kunci: sistem informasi, persediaan obat, inventory klinik
