Abstract

Blora and Bojonegoro, as regions with intensive oil and gas activities, require strengthened community safety capacity, especially among students. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a community-based occupational health and safety training program using an experiential learning approach. The three-day program included interactive lectures, group discussions, and simulations involving fire extinguishers, fire blankets, sound level meters, and multi-gas detectors. Evaluation employed validated pre-tests and post-tests, along with a structured skills assessment rubric. Results indicate a 53.9% increase in safety knowledge, with 93% of participants demonstrating proper use of fire extinguishers and fire blankets. Qualitative findings show improved risk awareness and confidence. These results align with experiential learning theory and social learning theory, and are consistent with recent studies confirming the effectiveness of safety simulations. The study concludes that community-based occupational health and safety training effectively improves student safety competence in oil and gas regions and can be replicated in other high-risk sectors. Recommendations include periodic simulation-based training, creation of school and village safety volunteer teams, integration of occupational health and safety life skills into school curricula, and longitudinal evaluation of knowledge and behavior retention.

Abstract

The success of tilapia farming is strongly influenced by the productivity it produces, but it often happens that the productivity of tilapia produced by farmers is very low. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that affect the productivity of tilapia and its effect on the farmers' profit. The parameters measured include stocking density (X1), feed protein content (X2), pond area (X3), length of maintenance (X4), productivity (Y), and profit (Z). There were 40 respondents from Selomerto Sub-district, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java Province. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 22 and pathway analysis. The results of the study indicate that X1, X3, and X4 have a significant effect on Y, while X2 has no effect on Y. Furthermore, X3 and Y have a significant effect on Z, while X1, X2, and X4 have no effect on Z. X1, through Y, has an effect on Z, while X2, X3, and X4, through Y, have no effect on Z. The research data is expected to provide meaningful information to various parties in improving the success of tilapia farming activities carried out by farmers.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has urged schools not only to provide learning services but also to utilize digital media for promotion and administrative management. One of the key instruments in this digital transformation is the school website, which functions as a medium for information transparency, achievement publication, and strengthening of internal services. This community service program was implemented in August 2025 at SMK Jayanegara Bicak, Trowulan, Mojokerto, using a participatory approach involving teachers, staff, and school leaders. The stages included needs assessment, menu design, development of a website using CodeIgniter 3, training, mentoring, implementation, and evaluation. The results showed that the school website was successfully developed with a simple and user-friendly interface, providing structured information on school profiles, facilities, achievements, activities, and online student admission services. The website was also utilized for internal administration such as document archiving and new student registration. Training improved teachers’ and staff’s digital skills, enabling them to manage web content independently. The program’s impact included improved information transparency, enhanced school promotion, administrative efficiency, and strengthened digital literacy among human resources. Therefore, the school website proved to be not only an external communication tool but also a strategic instrument for modern and sustainable school governance.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented at Public Elementary School Gedangan 3 in the rural district of Sumobito, Jombang, where school gardens support greening and environmental learning but plant care is constrained by manual, inconsistent watering. The project focused on introducing an automatic plant-watering system based on the Internet of Things using a soil-moisture sensor, a microcontroller, a relay, tubing, and a small water pump. The objectives were to motivate students’ interest in technology that benefits daily life, increase their knowledge of automatic watering principles and components, and provide direct practice operating a simple device. The approach combined participatory planning with teachers, structured instruction through presentation slides, a live demonstration of the device, guided student practice, and interactive discussion. Activities were conducted on 21 August 2025 with eighteen students from grades five and six, with classroom teachers acting as facilitators. Results showed improved student understanding of component functions and system operation, greater confidence and curiosity toward technology, and more consistent watering practices that support plant growth while using water efficiently. Students reported finding the learning enjoyable and accessible, and teachers indicated readiness to sustain the device for routine garden care. The program offers a practical, replicable model for integrating elementary-level technology literacy with environmental stewardship in school settings

Abstract

Desa Sumbergedang memiliki Potensi alam desa yaitu: 1) Sungai dengan sumber air sepanjang tahun; 2) Pertanian tanaman pisang di sepanjang sungai; 3) Sumber Mata Air Ada Sekitar 30 Titik yang tersebar di 13 Dusun dan lahan belum termanfaatkan seluas 6 ha. Lahan ini sudah disiapkan untuk agrowisata desa salah satu nya adalah tanaman pisang dan tanaman melon. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh interval sirkulasi yang efektif bagi tanaman melon, nilai konduktivitas listrik yang sesuai bagi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman melon, kombinasi perlakuan interval sirkulasi pada smart farming tanaman melon di Desa Sumbergedang.Metode kegiatan instalasi hidroponik DFT dengan membuat instalasi hidroponik dengan menggunakan pipa berukuran 4” dengan panjang 8 meter dan melubangi pipa dengan jarak 30cm, dan pemberian tali rambatan untuk merambatkan tanaman melon. Selanjutnya yaitu membuat media tanam,media tanam yang digunakan dalam budidaya tanaman melon (Cucumis melo) pada sistem hidroponik DFT yaitu menggunakan busa. Media busa dipotong membentuk persegi dengan ukuran 2x2 cm pada lahan greenhouse ukuran 11 x 25 meter. Penyemaian benih, benih yang disemai sebanyak 480, persemaian menggunakan Teknik pemeraman menggunakan tisu sebanyak 5 lembar untuk alas benih dan dibasahi menggunakan sedikit air dan memberikan 7 lembar tisu sebagai penutup. Transplanting dilakukan ketika bibit sudah berusia 14 hss. Bibit melon yang menggunakan media busa diletakkan ke netpot hidroponik berukuran tinggi 7cm dengan diameter 5,8cm kemudian diletakkan pada media tanaman dft. pemeliharaan yang dilakukan dengan memberikan nutrisi AB mix, mengecek nutrisi dilakukan setiap pagi dengan menggunakan ec meter. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa ada interaksi nyata perilaku konduktivitas elektronik dan interval sirkulasi nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tanaman, tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun. Kombinasi perlakuan menghasilkan pertumbuhan tertinggi pada umur 35 HST yaitu pada perlakuan konduktivitas listrik 2000 uS/cm + interval sirkulasi 120 menit dengan rata-rata tinggi 179,00 cm, perlakuan konduktivitas listrik 2000 uS/cm + interval sirkulasi 120 menit dengan rata-rata tinggi helaian daun 22,50.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pembangunan Gedung Unit Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Banu-Banua Jaya (BBJ) merupakan bagian dari upaya penguatan infrastruktur pendidikan dasar di wilayah pesisir yang memiliki keterbatasan akses layanan kesehatan. Dalam konteks tersebut, perencanaan proyek yang matang menjadi sangat penting untuk mencegah keterlambatan pelaksanaan dan pembengkakan biaya proyek. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan dan menganalisis penjadwalan proyek pembangunan gedung UKS dengan menggunakan metode Critical Path Method (CPM) guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelaksanaan proyek. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan, sedangkan data sekunder berupa dokumen Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB). Data RAB diolah dengan mengidentifikasi aktivitas proyek, menentukan durasi masing-masing aktivitas, serta menyusun jaringan kerja proyek untuk menghitung jalur kritis menggunakan metode CPM. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jalur kritis proyek terdiri dari aktivitas A–C–B–E–F–I–J–K dengan total durasi pelaksanaan selama 189 hari kalender atau 27 minggu. Durasi tersebut lebih cepat 25 hari dibandingkan dengan durasi kontrak awal yang direncanakan selama 214 hari. Kesimpulan: Penerapan metode Critical Path Method (CPM) terbukti mampu membantu manajemen proyek dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan waktu dan sumber daya. Perencanaan teknis yang sistematis dan visualisasi jaringan kerja proyek memungkinkan pelaksana proyek untuk mengantisipasi potensi keterlambatan secara lebih terstruktur dan meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian jadwal proyek.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Interaksi Desa Kota masih rendah akibat pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang memanfaatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kelayakan, efektivitas, dan respons siswa terhadap modul ajar geografi berbasis Google Site. Metode Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE diterapkan pada 76 siswa kelas XII SMAN Model Terpadu Bojonegoro yang terbagi dalam kelas eksperimen (n=38) dan kontrol (n=38). Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket berpikir kritis Facione, soal pre-test dan post-test, serta angket respons. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, dan N-gain score. Hasil menunjukkan modul sangat layak (validasi ahli media 86,66%, ahli materi 90,11%), efektif meningkatkan berpikir kritis (rata-rata kelas eksperimen 81,70% vs kontrol 56,58%), efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar (N-gain 0,5362 kategori sedang, p<0,05), dan mendapat respons sangat positif (90,07%). Modul ajar berbasis Google Site layak, efektif, dan praktis sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar geografi materi Interaksi Desa Kota.

Abstract

This study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system to measure water levels in gallon containers using a load cell as the primary weight sensor. The system enables users to monitor remaining water in real time and prevent unexpected shortages during daily activities. The method involves assembling hardware consisting of a load cell and an ESP32 microcontroller, followed by a calibration process to ensure accurate weight measurements. Programmed through the Arduino IDE, the ESP32 wirelessly transmits processed sensor data to a cloud platform such as Google Sheets or a hosting service for storage and management. Water levels are visualized through a web-based dashboard that presents data in a clear and accessible format. A notification feature alerts users when the gallon reaches a predefined minimum threshold. Experimental results show that the sensor consistently detects weight changes with stable performance throughout the monitoring process. The dashboard successfully displays real-time data reflecting the actual gallon condition. Overall, the system offers an effective and practical solution for automated water-level monitoring in households, offices, and small businesses.

Abstract

Floods are natural disasters that often occur in Indonesia and sometimes cause great material and human losses. This paper describes the design and implementation of an IoT-based flood early warning system using ESP32 microcontroller and HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor technology. The system is capable of automated river water level measurements at 5 minutes interval with real-time data sent to a web-based monitoring dashboard. Field validation was conducted in a quantitative experimental study at a river dam facility located in Jombang Regency. Performance testing results show that the system has high reliability, achieving 98.63% data transmission success rate. The HC-SR04 sensor has measurement accuracy of 97.69% with Mean Absolute Error (MAE) value equal to 2.31%. The warning mechanism works by comparing the water level with certain thresholds so that the dashboard can display safe or alert status conditions based on measurements made by the HC-SR04 sensor. Experimental results prove that this system is effective and economically feasible as a flood early warning solution for vulnerable regions, enhancing disaster preparedness capabilities significantly.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of corporate governance and intellectual capital on financial performance, with earnings management as a mediating variable, in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2017–2024 period. Using purposive sampling, 20 banks with a total of 160 observations were selected as the research sample. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that corporate governance and intellectual capital have a positive and significant effect on financial performance, with intellectual capital emerging as the most dominant factor. However, corporate governance and intellectual capital do not have a significant effect on earnings management. Furthermore, earnings management does not mediate the relationship between corporate governance or intellectual capital and financial performance. These findings suggest that improvements in financial performance within the banking sector are driven more by the direct implementation of sound corporate governance practices and effective management of intellectual capital rather than through earnings management practices.
