Abstract

The presence of a variety of communication media can be used to convey messages, both verbal and nonverbal, one of which is of interest to the public is film. Film is a form of culture whose presence is very familiar with everyday human beings by conveying the messages in the film that are presented in a subtle way and touch the heart. One of the messages that can be conveyed through the film is about violence against women where women are synonymous with gentle, affectionate and emotional figures and are often portrayed as weak and fragile creatures so that a lot of violence is perpetrated on women because of the assumption that women are only object. The author raised the film Bombshell which was based on a true story about sexual harassment that occurred at the office of a United States news channel. With descriptive qualitative research with semiotic analysis that provides opportunities for researchers to be able to understand various kinds of objects and their interrelationships. From this research, the authors obtained the results that the film Bombsel interprets sexual violence against women caused by men who show patriarchal ideology and sexual violence against women through the depiction and signs given by female characters.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the impact of social media TikTok use on Surabaya teenagers’ motivation to learn. This study is methodology is descriptive quantitative research. The analysis used is causal statistical analysis, which tries to analyze populations or research samples, collect evidence using research instruments, and establish the specified hypotheses. According to the reports’ results, TikTok has a big impact on Surabaya teenagers’ motivation to learn. This demonstrated by the regression equation test results, that Y = 23,346 + 0, 254X, indicating that very increase of one unit in the TikTok score will be followed by an increase of 0,254 with a constant of 23,346 in learning motivation. This study also revealed the impact of the social media TikTok on teenagers in Surabaya through describing its advantages and disadvantages as well as the frequency of uses. Another fact is that teenagers in Surabaya utilize TikTok as a platform for knowledge, information, and enjoyment as well as stress reduction. They do not utilize TikTok as a platform for sharing entertainment content or creating content to achieve more followers.

Abstract

This article explores the re-actualization of the Islamic legal concept of al-Maslahah al-Mursalah (public interest) in the context of formulating sharia-based public policies. The study aims to examine how al-Maslahah al-Mursalah can be utilized to address contemporary challenges and promote the welfare of society within a framework of Islamic principles. The methodology involves a comprehensive literature review of Islamic legal theory, particularly the principles of maqasid al-Sharia (objectives of Islamic law) and the application of al-Maslahah al-Mursalah. The research analyzes the potential of this concept in various policy domains, including economic development, social justice, and environmental sustainability. The findings highlight the importance of contextualizing Islamic legal principles to meet the evolving needs of society, while preserving the core values of justice, fairness, and the common good. The study concludes by advocating for the integration of al-Maslahah al-Mursalah in policy-making processes to ensure that public policies are both ethically sound and practically effective.

Abstract

Analisis strategi pemasaran merupakan analsis agar dapat mengetahui bagaimana mempertahankan dan meningkatkan penjualan produk atau jasa yang Hotel Bumi Senyiur jual.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Strategi Pemasaran yang di lakukan Hotel Bumi Senyiur dalam meningkatkan jumlah hunian kamar pada hotel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu berupa data-data tertulis atau lisan dari hasil dari wawancara dengan key informan dan informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Strategi Pemasaran Terhadap Peningkatan Jumlah Hunian Kamar Pada Hotel Bumi Senyiur sudah berjalan dengan baik. Sesuai dengan rencana meskipun masih ada hambatan dan kendala saat melakukan pemasaran.

Abstract

Abstract. This study evaluates the multivariate relationship between shrimp pond water quality and vannamei shrimp growth using Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA) with autocorrelation handling. Observational data was collected from 13 ponds (3 visits/pond; N = 39) in Banyuwangi (DOC 32–50; Nov 2022–Jan 2023), encompassing pH, temperature (Temp), dissolved oxygen (DO), Average Body Weight (ABW), and Specific Growth Rate (SGR). Diagnosis indicated residual autocorrelation, so CCA inference was made robust through cluster bootstrap per pond (B = 2000), partial CCA controlling for Visit, and within-approach (demeaning per pond), as well as being triangulated with mixed-effects models and GEE AR(1). The first canonical root was significant (ρ1 = 0.648; Wilks’ Λ = 0.541; p = 0.0015) and stable based on bootstrap (median ρ1 = 0.692; 95% CI 0.340–0.894). Canonical loading shows Temp as the main contributor on the water quality side (supporting pH, low DO), while SGR dominates on the growth side and is in the opposite direction to ABW. The redundancy index indicates a moderate level of cross-set explanation (Y from X = 13.7%; X from Y = 36.8%). These findings underscore the importance of daily temperature stability (supported by pH stability) and DO monitoring in shrimp farm management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif teori nasikh dan mansukh dalam Al-Qur’an, mulai dari definisi, rukun dan syarat, jenis-jenis nasikh, hingga perbedaan pandangan ulama klasik dan kontemporer mengenai keberadaannya. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah literatur klasik dan modern yang relevan dalam bidang Ulumul Qur’an, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan historis-deskriptif untuk melihat perkembangan pemahaman konsep ini sepanjang sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa naskh merupakan konsep yang diakui oleh mayoritas ulama sebagai mekanisme penyempurnaan hukum agar tetap selaras dengan perubahan kondisi sosial. Tiga bentuk utama naskh yang sering dibahas meliputi penghapusan bacaan dan hukum sekaligus, penghapusan hukum namun bacaan tetap ada, serta penghapusan bacaan tetapi hukumnya tetap berlaku. Perdebatan muncul di kalangan ulama; sebagian menerima keberadaan naskh sebagai bagian dari dinamika wahyu, sementara sebagian lainnya, seperti al-Isfahani, menolaknya dan memilih pendekatan takhsis. Kajian terhadap pemikiran Syah Wali Allah, Abdullah An-Na’im, dan Abdullah Saeed menunjukkan bahwa gagasan kontemporer cenderung menafsirkan naskh sebagai proses historis yang memungkinkan kontekstualisasi hukum di masa kini. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman perkembangan teori nasikh-mansukh serta implikasinya dalam pendidikan Islam, khususnya dalam penguatan metode interpretasi Al-Qur’an yang lebih kontekstual dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the branding strategies of three premium coffee shops in Surabaya—Drama Coffee, Alura Coffee, and Coffee at Louis—using Keller’s Customer-Based Brand Equity (CBBE) framework. The CBBE model consists of four main stages: brand salience, brand meaning, brand response, and brand resonance. A qualitative descriptive method was applied, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. The findings indicate that all three coffee shops successfully built consumer-based brand equity but employed different approaches. Drama Coffee emphasizes storytelling and a relaxed atmosphere as a space for emotional expression, Alura Coffee highlights a warm and aesthetic “second home” identity, while Coffee at Louis focuses on delivering an authentic “Australian-style coffee experience” with premium quality. The key similarity lies in the consistency of brand identity and the use of Instagram as the main branding channel, while the differences emerge in each shop’s unique positioning according to its target market. This research underscores the importance of differentiated branding strategies in fostering consumer loyalty and emotional attachment.

Abstract

Internal Quality Audit (AMI) is a key instrument in the education quality assurance system, serving to evaluate and continuously improve service quality. This study examines the implementation of AMI at SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung, a leading high school in Dharmasraya Regency, using a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Kurt Lewin's Total Quality Management and change management theories. The results indicate that the implementation of AMI at this school has been effective, with the formation of an active audit team and follow-up actions based on audit findings. Challenges encountered include limited auditor competency, organizational cultural resistance, and the need to strengthen the use of information technology. AMI has had a positive impact on improving the quality of learning, infrastructure management, and school accreditation. Improvement strategies implemented follow the PDCA cycle, including teacher training, laboratory facility improvements, and the implementation of a digital-based reporting system. This study recommends strengthening auditor capacity, integrating AMI with TQM, and benchmarking with other leading schools to foster a sustainable quality culture in accordance with Islamic values that emphasize continuous evaluation and self-improvement

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, Menengah (UMKM), merupakan salah satu sektor penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah, menurut UU NO. 20 tahun 2008 yang dikutip dalam buku Sartono dkk (2024), UMKM merupakan usaha produktif milik perorangan atau badan usaha perorangan yang memenuhi kriteria mikro, kecil, menengah yang berdasarkan aset dan omset bulanan atau tahunan. Di wilayah kabupaten tanah datar, khususnya di Simabur banyak UMKM yang berkembang pesat dan sebagai penunjang perekonomian masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah usaha Kue Basah Safnita, yang bergerak di bidang produksi kue basah tradisional khas minang kabau, usaha ini berdiri pada tahun 2023 yang beralamat di jalan lapangan bola kaki simabur, lebih tepatnya di belakang SD Muhammadiyah. Usaha kue basah Safnita memproduksi berbagai jenis kue tradisional seperti kue lapis, sarikaya, umbang ubi, talam ubi, putu ayu, bolu pisang, talam ubi unggu, dan kue mangkuak. Dan kami mengambil 3 jenis kue yang best seller yaitu kue talam ubi kayu, mangkuak dan kue lapis. Dalam satu bulan usaha ini mampu memproduksi sebanyak 560 loyang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan selama ini perhitungan biaya produksi masih dilakukan secara sederhana, yaitu dengan cara menjumlahkan semua pengeluaran tanpa memisah biaya bersifat tetap dan variable. Dengan cara tersebut pemilik sulit mengetahui berapa biaya setiap jenis kue dan berapa keuntungan yang diperoleh dari masing-masing kue. Salah satu cara yang bisa membantu menghitung biaya produksi lebih akurat adalah menggunakan metode variable costing. Dalam metode ini hanya biaya variabel yang dihitung sebagai biaya produksi. Oleh karena itu kami tertarik melakukan penelitian dengan Judul Analisis Biaya Produksi Menggunakan Metode Variabel Costing Pada Usaha Kue Basah Safnita Di Simabur.

Abstract

Kejawang Village faces a lack of English language skills and a shortage of competent teachers. One option for addressing this issue is through community service programs and the use of technology.This Independent Community Service Program (KKN) aimed to enhance the understanding of the young generation in Kejawang Village regarding the importance of digital literacy and English proficiency in the globalization era. The method used was an interactive seminar titled "AI & English: Keys to Success for the Future Generation," which was attended by 30 participants from among students and village youth. The seminar material covered a basic introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and motivation regarding the importance of English as a global skill. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' awareness of the role of AI in daily life and the importance of English for accessing global opportunities. Active participation was evident from the participants' enthusiasm during the Q&A and discussion sessions. The conclusion of this community service is that the seminar successfully served as an initial stimulus in shaping an adaptive, innovative, and competitive young generation. It is recommended that the village government and local educational institutions continue similar programs sustainably to optimize long-term impact
