Abstract

This study aims to develop a science module as material for learning activities, especially in science subjects using the Borg and Gall research model which consists of 10 steps simplified into 7 steps, namely (1) conducting a needs analysis, (2) planning, (3) initial product development, (4) limited testing, (5) revision of product test results, (6) main product test, (7) final product revision. This study was conducted on class IV students with a total of 22 students. This research and development instrument uses validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the media design expert validation test with a total score of "58" are in the range of 51 < X ≤ 63 with the category "Good". The results of the language expert validation test with a total score of "69" are in the range of X < 63 with the category "Excellent". The results of the material expert validation test with a total score of "72" are in the range of X < 63 with the category "Excellent". The results of the questionnaire of student responses to the validity and effectiveness of the use of the modules developed received an average score of "67.5" and were in the range of X < 63 with the category "Excellent". So that it can be concluded, the science module as material for learning activities is valid and effectively used in the learning process.Keywords:  Module Teaching Materials, Natural Sciences (IPA).

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in the Pancasila Education subject, especially regarding norms in life, by implementing the Literature Circle learning model. This model is designed to encourage active student participation through group discussions with specific roles. The research was conducted in two cycles involving 31 students at SD Negeri 3 Sekarteja, using observation sheets and learning outcomes tests as data collection tools, which were analyzed using interpretation. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes, where in the first cycle the majority of students got a score between 70 and 80 with 16% achieving a score of 100, while in the second cycle the number of students who achieved a perfect score increased to 29%, and all students got score above 80. Student participation in discussions also increased, with students who were previously passive becoming more active in asking critical questions and relating the material to personal experiences. Overall, the application of the Literature Circle model is effective in improving learning outcomes and student engagement, so that this model can be used as a suitable learning alternative for Pancasila Education, especially for material that requires in-depth understanding.Keywords: Optimization, Classroom Action Research, Learning Outcomes, Literature Circle

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis mobile learning terhadap pembentukan karakter gotong royong siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-shot case study. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Islam Tahfizh Kerongkong dengan jumlah 17 siswa, yang terdiri dari 10 perempuan dan 7 laki-laki. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi respons siswa saat tindakan dilakukan dan angket kesadaran gotong royong siswa setelah tindakan dilakukan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata respons siswa terhadap mobile learning mencapai 80% (kategori baik), mengindikasikan minat dan antusiasme belajar yang tinggi. Namun rata-rata skor angket kesadaran gotong royong siswa sebesar 63,29 (kategori cukup). Uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk menghasilkan p = 0,306 (> 0,05), sehingga data berdistribusi normal. Uji hipotesis one-sample t-test memperoleh nilai p = 0,530 (2-tailed), lebih besar dari 0,05, sehingga hipotesis nol diterima. Artinya, secara statistik implementasi mobile learning belum memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap karakter gotong royong siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini, media mobile learning meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara umum, tetapi tidak cukup efektif membentuk karakter gotong royong secara otomatis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Nearpod berbasis kearifan lokal melalui pendekatan Science Based Inquiry untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh masih rendahnya minat dan disiplin siswa akibat dominasi metode ceramah dan penggunaan media konvensional. Nearpod, sebagai platform pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web, menawarkan fitur-fitur seperti kuis, video, polling, dan presentasi dinamis yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran diharapkan mampu memberikan pengalaman nyata, membentuk kedisiplinan, serta menumbuhkan kecintaan siswa terhadap budaya daerah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang melibatkan analisis terhadap berbagai referensi yang relevan dengan topik tersebut. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Nearpod berbasis kearifan lokal tidak hanya valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman siswa, tetapi juga mampu menumbuhkan nilai disiplin melalui pembiasaan belajar yang terstruktur. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dan kearifan lokal melalui pendekatan Science Based Inquiry dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif bagi guru sekolah dasar dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif, bermakna, dan berkarakter

Abstract

Pembelajaran diferensiasi merupakan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mencakup berbagai teknik pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk mengakomodir perbedaan peserta didik. Hal ini meliputi penggunaan bahan pembelajaran yang beragam, pengaturan kelompok kerja yang berbeda, dan pemberian tugas yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat kemampuan siswa, bahkan juga memungkinkan menghasilkan produk peserta didik yang berbeda. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain posttest control group design. Lokasi penelitian di SDN 3 Anjani, Lombok Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar IPAS. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji beda (uji t). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of environmental literacy readiness of pre-service and science teachers in East Lombok in facing ecological and sustainability challenges. This descriptive quantitative research involved 39 pre-service and science teachers in East Lombok Regency at the end of 2022. Data were collected using a questionnaire that includes 3 components of environmental literacy by adapting the criteria from NEEF. The results found that the overall score of environmental literacy of pre-service and science teachers was 143.70 and included in the high category. Detailed achievements of environmental literacy of pre-service and science teachers are: aspects of attitudes towards the environment with scores of 45.40 (high) and 45.90 (high) respectively, aspects of attention to the environment score at a moderate level with scores of 37 and 37.10. and the score of aspects of perception of the environment and its protection efforts reached 61.10 (high) and 60.90 (high). Referring to the research findings, it can be concluded that the level of readiness of pre-service and science teachers in East Lombok Regency to face ecological and sustainability challenges is at a high level

Abstract

Quantitative research is a crucial foundation in the scientific landscape to understand phenomena objectively and measurably. Although essential, there is often a gap between methodological idealism and research practice, especially among novice researchers, which is indicated by the use of quantitative methods that are not optimal in student theses due to lack of mastery of methodology and statistics, marked by inconsistencies in variable logic, lack of theoretical basis, data bias, sampling technique errors, to inaccuracy in testing the validity of instruments and statistical analysis. Through a systematic and comprehensive literature review, this article aims to present a complete picture of the “roadmap” of quantitative research, including the essence, principles, key stages (starting from problem formulation, sample determination, instrument development, data collection, to analysis and interpretation of results), and its various types, rooted in the positivist paradigm that emphasizes objectivity and hypothesis testing. Although quantitative research offers significant advantages such as time efficiency and generalizability, challenges such as difficulty in data collection and lack of in-depth analysis also need to be overcome, so improving methodological and statistical training is crucial to producing valid, accountable scientific work that contributes significantly to the development of science.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool to increase interest, stimulate skills, facilitate, remember and understand the information contained and motivate learning. The use of media is very important in the learning process. The aim of this research is to determine the use of word flannel board media to improve mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and maximize students' reading ability in class I of SD Negeri 3 Sekarteja, Selong District, East Lombok Regency. The method in this research was Kemmis & McTaggart with research subjects of class I students at SD Negeri 3 Sekarteja totaling 29 people. This research was carried out in two cycles starting with learning without using word flannel board media. In the first cycle, the post test results from 29 students increased to 12 students who completed it with a percentage of 41.38. In cycle II the number of results increased to 23 students with a percentage of 79.31%. The results of the research show that the use of flannel word board media is very effective in learning Indonesian, because it can improve students' vocabulary mastery skills in beginning reading.

Abstract

This study discussed the Analysis of Child Parenting Patterns from Environmental Impacts on Students' Counting Skills at SD Negeri 1 Sunanggalih. This study aimed to determine the form of parenting and the impact of the school environment on numeracy skills. The resource persons in this study consisted of 22 people in the form of 10 parents, 10 students and 2 teachers. This research was a qualitative research with data collection methods using the instruments of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was used the following steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were two forms of parenting applied by parents, namely democratic parenting and permissive parenting. The school environment had a great influence on students' numeracy skills

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low independence of elementary school students in mathematics, especially fractions, due to conventional methods and the lack of innovative teaching materials. The objective is to develop and test the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-based mathematics teaching materials to improve student independence. Using the ADDIE development model, this research began with an analysis of student needs and the curriculum. The design stage included designing a fraction addition module, including visual elements. Development involved validation by material and media experts, as well as revisions. Implementation was carried out through a trial in grade V of SD Negeri 1 Moyot, with data from response questionnaires and learning outcome tests. Product evaluation showed that this teaching material was very feasible (media experts 98%, material experts 80%). Student responses were positive ("Good" 66.48%), and learning outcomes improved ("Good" 75.64%), with classical completeness of 76%. The implication is that ABA teaching materials are effective in improving student independence and mathematics learning outcomes, and serve as a reference for the development of innovative teaching materials
