Abstract

This article explores the important role of learning design in the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesia. Learning design provides a structured framework for the educational process, ensures teaching effectiveness, and achieves expected learning objectives. With this approach, teachers can design learning that is relevant, interesting, and in accordance with the needs of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which is also known as library research. The data sources used in this study consist of secondary data sources obtained from journals or articles, as well as books related to independent curriculum learning design. The main source of article search is articles sourced from Google Scholar. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively, through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the analysis show that good learning design aims to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students in accordance with the demands of the times, with the hope that the learning process will be more meaningful, fun, and have a positive impact

Abstract

This study aims to explore an in-depth understanding of curriculum development, learning design, and educator competencies in the context of education in the era of independent learning. Qualitative research methods are used to gain a comprehensive understanding through in-depth analysis of the relevant text and material context. Data were collected through literature study, observation, and interviews. The results showed that effective learning design requires teacher involvement in designing learning that is relevant to student needs, as well as being able to integrate educational technology and innovative learning strategies. In addition, this study also highlights the importance of developing a curriculum that is responsive to changing times and pays attention to the needs of individual students. Educator competencies that include material understanding, pedagogical skills, and managerial abilities are also key factors in ensuring the effectiveness of curriculum implementation. The findings of this research make an important contribution in enriching the understanding of how curriculum development, learning design, and educator competencies can support each other in improving the quality of education in the era of independent learning

Abstract

Teachers have a strategic role as the spearhead of human resource development, so teachers play a role in developing the curriculum. Objectives This research explores the role of teachers in developing an independent curriculum. This research method uses a literature review. The main source of this research data is research articles published through google scholar in the last 10 years. Data collection was carried out using the keywords "role of teachers" and "independent curriculum". Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study were obtained that the independent curriculum is a response to the improvement of the quality of education in Indonesia, especially during the covid 19 pandemic. The independent curriculum empowers students and develops 21st-century skills and accommodates a diversity of talents and interests, however, its implementation faces challenges such as the transformation of learning outcomes, the limitations of student textbooks, and the lack of variety in more inclusive and relevant learning methods. For this reason, the role of teachers is very necessary in the development of the independent curriculum. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the basis for the development of the independent curriculum. In this article, the analysis of research methods uses literature studies from various available sources. The method used is literature. This research is a type of research that collects data from literature. The data collection technique in this study is documentation, namely looking for written sources that contain information on the topics discussed. Primary data was obtained from reading reference books, journals, and websites. Based on the results of the research carried out, the foundations for the development of the independent curriculum are (1) the philosophical foundation, which is to discuss and identify the philosophical foundations and their application in developing the curriculum, (2) the psychological foundation, which is a study centered on understanding and studying human behavior, (3) the sociological foundation, which discusses and identifies the sociological, scientific and technological foundations, as well as their application in developing the independent curriculum,  (4) the foundation of technology, namely the optimal use of technology will have a positive impact on the development of the independent curriculum, (5) the historical foundation, the development of the independent curriculum refers to various historical experiences that affect the curriculum developed and (6) the philosophy of KHD, which is to carry out student-centered learning that is in accordance with learning in the independent curriculum. The advantages of the independent curriculum are simpler and more in-depth, more independent, more relevant, interactive, and communicative.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the understanding of the nature of learning and how learning helps teachers and education practitioners in designing an effective and development-oriented learning process. The research uses methods in qualitative form. The research method includes literature study by conducting literature searches related to learning and educational concepts. The main source of this research data is research articles published in scientific journals and indexed on the google scholar database. The results of the data analysis will be interpreted to explore their implications in the context of learning and education. The findings of this study are that learning and learning are two essential elements that complement each other in the educational process. Learning involves relatively permanent changes in behavior or potential behaviors as a result of experience, while learning is a more structured process designed to facilitate learning. A good integration of learning theory and learning practices in the curriculum allows students to not only acquire knowledge and skills but also develop positive attitudes and moral values. A well-designed learning design must pay attention to students' needs, interests, and learning styles, and focus on achieving the educational goals that have been set
