Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Brand Image and Service Quality on Customer Loyalty, mediated by Customer Satisfaction, at Pelindo Residence & Convention. Using an explanatory quantitative approach with 125 respondents and SEM-PLS analysis, the study finds that Brand Image and Service Quality significantly impact Customer Satisfaction, while Brand Image and Customer Satisfaction positively influence Customer Loyalty. A key novelty of this research reveals a consumer behavior anomaly: Service Quality has no direct influence on loyalty, requiring Customer Satisfaction as a full mediator. Conversely, Brand Image possesses a psychological strength that independently drives loyalty without the need for mediation. Practically, hotel management must recalibrate operational services (SOP) into emotional interventions focused on guest satisfaction, while maintaining brand image equity as a primary strategy for customer retention amidst intense post-pandemic industry competition.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technology and internet infrastructure has fundamentally restructured the global economic paradigm, triggering a massive shift in consumer behavior toward digital commerce. This empirical study aims to comprehensively analyze and describe the mediating role of brand awareness in the complex relationship between celebrity endorser credibility and purchase intention, with a particular focus on the e-commerce platform Blibli. This research is geographically concentrated in South Jakarta, a major urban center in Indonesia characterized by very high digital literacy, strong purchasing power, and an internet penetration rate exceeding 85.87%. Using the South Korean international pop group NCT 127 as the celebrity endorser context, this study investigates how the credibility of global figures influences the cognitive and behavioral responses of potential consumers. Using a quantitative explanatory design with a correlational approach, primary data were collected from 120 respondents in South Jakarta through purposive sampling. The data were evaluated through rigorous statistical tests, including Path Analysis, the Sobel Test for mediation significance, and the Variance Accounted For (VAF) assessment. Structural equation modeling revealed that celebrity endorser credibility had a highly positive and statistically significant direct impact on brand awareness and purchase intention. Furthermore, brand awareness acted as a significant catalyst for purchase intention. Crucially, mediation analysis confirmed that brand awareness exerted a complementary partial mediation effect between endorser credibility and purchase intention. These findings provide profound second-order insights into consumer psychology, suggesting that while credible celebrity figures can directly stimulate transactional desire through parasocial relationships and the trust heuristic, their commercial effectiveness is only substantially amplified and sustained when they successfully embed the brand into consumers' top-of-mind cognitive schemas. This study provides a strategic imperative for e-commerce executives to leverage celebrity endorsements not merely as a short-term vanity metric, but as a fundamental instrument for cultivating long-term brand equity in a hyper-competitive digital ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital experience and customer experience on passenger loyalty on the Progo Train route, Pasar Senen–Lempuyangan. The increasing digitalization of public transportation services through the Access by KAI application has highlighted the importance of examining the quality of digital experience and customer experience in maintaining passenger loyalty. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data were collected from 150 respondents through a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software (Ringle et al., 2024). The results of the outer model evaluation showed that all indicators had outer loadings > 0.70, Average Variance Extracted (AVE) > 0.50, Composite Reliability (CR) and Cronbach's alpha > 0.70, thus all constructs were declared valid and reliable. The inner model test shows that digital experience has a positive and significant effect on passenger loyalty (β = 0.192; T = 2.237; p = 0.025). Customer experience also has a positive and significant effect on passenger loyalty (β = 0.243; T = 3.268; p = 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.133 indicates that both variables explain 13.3% of the variance in passenger loyalty. The customer experience variable has a more dominant influence than digital experience on Progo Train passenger loyalty.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the profitability ratio performance of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk during the 2020–2025 period using a quantitative descriptive approach. The data used were secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial statements and analyzed using key profitability ratios, including return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM), and operating expenses to operating income (BOPO). The analytical method involved presenting the data in tabular form and conducting trend analysis to describe the dynamics of the company’s financial performance. The results indicated that ROA and ROE experienced significant growth until 2023, followed by a decline in the 2024–2025 period. NPM showed highly volatile fluctuations, with a sharp increase up to 2023 and a substantial decline thereafter. Meanwhile, BOPO showed a downward trend, indicating improved operational efficiency, although a slight increase occurred at the end of the period. The study concluded that Bank Mandiri’s profitability performance was dynamic and influenced by both internal and external factors. This research contributed to the understanding of banking financial performance analysis based on profitability ratios in a longitudinal context.

Abstract

This study proposes and applies the ISO 31000 Assessment Index (I31-AI), the first 35-indicator tiered scoring tool specifically calibrated to the PER-5/2022 four-tier BUMN classification to measure ISO 31000:2018 risk management maturity across the seven operative dimensions of the standard. The study used an interpretative qualitative design that combined systematic document analysis of regulatory texts with thematic coding of 41 active BUMN annual reports and supervisory records for FY2022-2024. Each BUMN was scored on all 35 I31-AI indicators on a CMMI-adapted 0-4 maturity scale; inter-rater reliability was verified at Cohen’s Kappa k = 0.81. Cross-tier pattern synthesis was completed using reflexive thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2021). Five dominant themes emerge: (1) coercive regulatory pressure yields structural compliance but does not build risk culture (P5) or dynamic review (P6); (2) a distinct tier gradient is observed in maturity scores, with Sistemik A’s average score of 84.4 and Netral’s of 46.8; (3) the construction sector is a concentrated portfolio risk cluster for Danantara, with five Signifikan-tier BUMN falling below the Netral threshold; (4) P5 and P6 have the largest cross-tier deficits, at 39.3 and 39.0 points respectively; and (5) I31-AI scores act as forward-looking fiscal risk signals, with all seven BUMN in financial distress identified by Kementerian BUMN (2024) scoring below their tier-appropriate thresholds. The I31-AI is the first scoring tool explicitly calibrated to the PER-5/2022 four-tier classification and validated against publicly available governance evidence. It provides BP BUMN with a structured basis for shifting supervisory focus from structural conformance to P5/P6 capability development, and gives Danantara a portfolio-level fiscal risk signal complementary to financial performance indicators.

Abstract

The high turnover of Generation Z workers has become a structural problem for technology startups in Indonesia rather than a temporary operational disruption. Having grown up within a digital ecosystem, this generation displays a distinct work orientation in which loyalty is no longer extended to institutions but to work experiences perceived as meaningful. This study examines how the work environment and work-life balance affect employee retention, both directly and through job satisfaction as an intervening mechanism. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using primary data from 150 Generation Z employees in the startup technology sector, collected through a five-point Likert questionnaire. The analysis used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4, while the scholarly positioning was traced through a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. The examination of seven hypotheses confirmed that all were supported. Work environment and work-life balance positively and significantly affected both job satisfaction and retention, and job satisfaction partially mediated both relationships. These findings revise the long-held assumption that retention is solely a matter of compensation; for Generation Z, the quality of work relationships and respect for the boundaries of personal life are equally, if not more, decisive in the decision to stay.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women's transformational leadership on organizational loyalty among members of KOPRI PMII DKI Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 active members of KOPRI PMII DKI Jakarta selected through purposive sampling. The transformational leadership variable was measured through the dimensions of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration, while organizational loyalty was assessed through commitment, obedience, dedication, and willingness to sacrifice. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics and simple linear regression using SPSS. The findings indicate that women's transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational loyalty, with a significance value of 0.033 (< 0.05). Furthermore, all dimensions of transformational leadership and organizational loyalty were categorized as high. These findings suggest that female leadership characterized by role modeling, motivation, individualized consideration, and member empowerment can enhance organizational loyalty among cadres. This study highlights the importance of strengthening women's transformational leadership capacity as a strategic effort to improve member loyalty and sustain women's cadre-based organizations.

Abstract

The phenomenon of university students simultaneously undertaking academic studies and employment has become increasingly common, creating unique challenges in balancing work responsibilities and academic obligations. This study aims to examine the effects of job demands and time management on academic performance, with academic self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable among undergraduate and postgraduate students who work while pursuing higher education. The research employed a quantitative approach using a causal research design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire administered to 50 working students selected through purposive sampling. The study measured four variables, namely job demands, time management, academic self-efficacy, and academic performance. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis, Baron and Kenny’s causal steps approach, and the Sobel test to examine mediation effects. The findings reveal that time management has a positive and significant effect on both academic self-efficacy and academic performance. Academic self-efficacy also demonstrates a positive and significant influence on academic performance and emerges as the strongest predictor in the model. In contrast, job demands do not significantly affect either academic self-efficacy or academic performance. Furthermore, academic self-efficacy does not mediate the relationship between job demands and academic performance. However, academic self-efficacy fully mediates the relationship between time management and academic performance, indicating that effective time management enhances students’ confidence in their academic abilities, which subsequently improves their academic outcomes. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening time management skills and academic self-efficacy to support the academic success of working students in higher education institutions.
