The road infrastructure is an important element in driving economic growth and public development. Along with the increasing number of vehicle users, the need of an adequate road infrastructure is very substantial. Damaged road infrastructure can significantly hampered daily activities. On the other hand, mobile devices are also experiencing a rapid growth from year to year. Among the various mobile device platforms, Android has the largest user base in Indonesia. One implementation of the GPS and camera sensor on Android devices is geotagging technology which can embed geographical information on a digital media. Based on the aforementioned cases, the authors designed and built an application named ‘Markgo' to report damaged road. By fulfilling 8 functional requirements, the application passed validity test. Also, from the usability testing which includes 4 criteria, usefulness, ease of use, easiness to learn, and satisfaction, we obtained the average index value of 88.24%. From both test results can be concluded that ‘Markgo' functionality is in accordance with the design, can be accepted and facilitate the society to report damaged road infrastructure.

The existence of student and lecture is a main component from study in educational institution. Many student who has an obstacle experiences to looking for lectures position in campus. In addition to lecturing, lecture is also have another duties to do Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, it becomes an obstacle for student to looking for lectures position where not always located in their room. In general, to determine someone position using GPS (Global Positioning System), however GPS have also a weakness such as can't determine someone inside the building. This study is to build an application that can find lectures position inside the building using Color Radiomap Interpolation method. Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) from 3 Access Point is used to develop this application. The value from RSSI is converted turn into a color map that used to determine lecture position. This application is developed in two sides where for the lecture is used to change the status to can be found its position, for the students is also can find the lecture and see the position. Determining position with compare training data in the color map by test data when the status from lecturer is changed with collecting the smallest data from the equation of Mean Squared Error. The result is show that all of the requirement can be validated, with with accuracy 90%.

Malang City is one of the big cities in East Java and its health development began to develop every year, and one of the health service that widely available is hospital. Now, people in Malang City can get treatment to the hospital easily with the existence of health insurance. But with the existence of various kinds of health insurance causes various troubles. People who own one kind of the health insurance confused when they want to search the hospital that received their health insurance because not all of the hospital will received all health insurance. People who were in emergency situation and require doctor attention immediately must find the nearest route to the hospital. If the targeted hospital does not receive their health insurance and the handling is late, it will be fatal and may even lead to death. To decrease those impact, people must able to search the hospital based on health insurance and routing from user location to the hospital location, with making an application that using GPS & API Google Maps with Agile System Development method that implemented on Android. The creation of Hospital Locator application intends to know the performance of each functional of the system, then it will be tested through validity testing as well as be testing with usability testing in the form of usability score and Likert scale to know the quality of the system. The result of the validity testing obtained that the functional of the system has been running well with 100% success rate. The result of the usability testing, the system gets score 92,91% which can be categorized as an A and user can operate the system easily and feel helpful about it.

Deaf children belong to a group of children who experience language and communication problems because of their inability to get a voice. Despite their shortcomings they still have the potential to learn to speak and speak. In developing language skills and speaking deaf children need special services in the form of systematic language teaching to minimize the impact caused by the phlegm they experience. In this study developing language teaching and training services using Android-based mobile devices technology by utilizing Google Speech to process sound. Language training applications for Deaf provide a feature to facilitate deaf people in practicing language skills. In the application there are pictures and learning videos that discuss pronunciation pronunciation techniques and techniques to support training and learning. Based on the validation testing that has been done, the results obtained with a percentage of 100%, which means the system has met functional requirements. As for the usability level, the results of the average test are 70.5, with the user acceptance rate stated in the Acceptable, grade C category with a Good rating.

Mostly Indonesian river has bad quality of water because of contamination, bad placement and there is a little habitat of the animal near it. Then those problems are the same with one of the rivers in Japan called Iwamoto. However those problems already solved because of the role of technology called “Clear Water Project†Application. The application can be used to give information to user about the river's condition from the geotagging process and help to grow awareness about the bad condition of the river. So that the user will do the preservation of the river. Indonesia has the same problem so it can use the same solution to solve the problem by developing application called “Geotagging Pemetaan Sungaiâ€. The development of application will be customized with the condition in Indonesia. Information about the river's condition to be accurate, it will use Global Positioning System and Camera sensor. Gamification feature makes user always want to use the application, it needs to approach using the gamification concept. The result of usability testing is the application is passed the test of usability within the aspect of usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning and satisfaction that reach 85,906%, so can be concluded that the application called “Geotagging Pemetaan Sungai†is relatively easier to use by the user for giving information about the river's condition by using gamification's approach.

In an organization or company certainly has assets to support its operational activities, so it is very important to do the maintenance of the asset itself. Asset maintenance aims to track the status of the asset, including the location and condition of the asset. Maintenance of high-level assets with integrated systems is needed to increase effectiveness in carrying out asset maintenance. At the Faculty of Computer Science asset maintenance activities are carried out manually, namely by the staff tasked with examining assets directly, then the damaged assets are written in the book for later making reports manually. The manual bookkeeping causes data loss and poor data grouping. Location-based asset monitoring systems are designed and built to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of manual asset maintenance processes. This system is built on a mobile basis. This system uses location based service that will make it easier in the process of mapping the location of scattered assets and matching the location of monitoring and location of assets. Based on the results of usability testing shows that 89.8% of users agree that the system is worthy of being used and applied. Whereas in the functional and non-functional test results that this system is valid and feasible to use. This shows that this system has been successfully implemented in the asset maintenance section to produce applications that can be accepted by users, especially users in the Equipment Division of Faculty of Computer Science.

EzySchool is an application that is intended for parents of students to control the student activities at school. EzySchool has been developed since 2017. Although the EzySchool's User Interface (UI) design is good enough, it needs to be evaluated so that usability aspects are in accordance with User Experience (UX) principle well and correctly. Evaluation is done for determining the success rate of applied UX to meet user needs and satisfaction. The purpose of this study are to find usability problems based on heuristic principles and designing the solution design based on evaluator suggestions, severity ratings and Google Material Design (guidelines). The Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach was used because the design development approach and interactive system focus on the user and user needs. The Heuristic Evaluation (HE) method was used to find and assess usability problems based on heuristic principles with the help of experts as evaluators. The initial data collection was carried out by conducting interviews with EzySchool stakeholder regarding the analysis of the application usage context. Initial heuristic evaluation (involving 3 evaluators) produced 17 problems as a baseline for user needs to design a solution design. Iterate have been done once because of time limitness. The results of this study are a comparison between the initial evaluation and solution design results along with better solution design in UX which is indicated by a decrease of 10 heuristic problems so that only 7 problems were found in the solution design.

EzyPOS is an application to simplify the work of owners of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in managing their businesses to be better and organized. The use of the EzyPOS application is the same as the cash register. There are several usability problems in the EzyPOS Application such as button size which doesn't suits the standart so that have an effect on user experience. Recommendations for User interface and User Experience improvement along with the results of evaluation and analysis of both are the objectives of this study An approach that is used is human-centered design (HCD) which is a system design and development approach to make interactive systems more useful by focusing on the use of systems and applying human factors / ergonomics and usability knowledge and techniques. The HCD stages are context specifications, User specifications, design, and design evaluation. Evaluation Method which is used is a Heuristic Evaluation (HE) which is a method for finding usability problems in the User interface by using 3-5 evaluators to examine and assess it in accordance with the applicable usability principles. Improvements are made based on saverity rating. The results of this study are the solution design with the HCD approach which has better usability than the EzyPOS application version 1.0.19. This is indicated by the decrease in number of problems found in the EzyPOS solution design, namely from 20 to 6 problems.

In order to improve service and welfare of the community, a village has the right to obtain a portion of the central and regional financial funds received by the district called Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) which is channeled through Village / Village Cash. However, the government did not get information about financial management in the village and asked for funds with inappropriate financial statements that confused financial supervisors in government offices. Therefore this research was conducted with the aim of facilitating the supervision process of the use of village funds, with the support and development of a web-based reporting system for financial oversight of the supervision of village funds, because all financial reports, funds usage reports and village activities will be entered into the website supervision of village funds and can be directly checked by the financial supervisor. In this study using the prototyping software development model, and bootstrap framework, and using jquery and javascript in making the display system more interactive. Testing this system uses the white box method and black box testing for functional testing, and compatibility testing methods for non-functional testing. The results of testing on 45 Functionalities in the management application for village fund allocation obtained 100% valid results, the system can be run on two different browsers on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

For the responsibility of all activities who's been done by station operators, a report to the admin data center is needed. One activities that must be reported is ONLIMO station maintenance activities. However, the current reporting system still using group chat rooms, which makes the admin difficult to get all the data. In addition, there were also difficulties in recording sensor sparepart replacement. So, a system is needed to simplify reporting process at Badan Pengkajian and Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT). The system is implemented on mobile application because a lot of station operators using Android device and on server side using the website platform. For development, agile method is used because it suitable with the process of evaluating research at BPPT. The functional test results found that all feature was valid. While for non-functional testing, we found usability value is 75 which shows that the system is good but needed repairs, the system needs internet connection for reliability aspects, and the system can selecting users well for security aspects. For the effectiveness level obtained 100% where all users can use the system effectively, and for system efficiency is 0.0103 goals/sec which indicates the ONLIMO reporting system already effective and efficient.
