Abstract

This study examines the impact of compensation and work-life balance on Generation Z employees' intention to leave apparel retailers in the Jawai sub-district, using job satisfaction as a mediating element in this relationship. This research employs a quantitative methodology utilizing an explanatory causal research design. Data collection was performed via an online questionnaire and assessed using a five-point Likert scale. The study's population comprised 154 employees from 48 apparel retailers in the Jawai sub-district. This study utilized a sample of 120 employees that fulfilled the research criteria, specifically individuals aged 18 to 27 years. The participants in this study were chosen by a purposive sampling method. The Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method was employed for data analysis with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings indicated that compensation and work-life balance had a favorable and significant influence on turnover intention. Moreover, job satisfaction has been demonstrated to mediate the association between compensation and turnover intention, as well as between work-life balance and turnover intention. This study's results are anticipated to provide practical insights for Clothing Store management in developing efficient human resource management strategies, as well as theoretical advancements in the field of human resource management concerning Generation Z.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment and workload on turnover intention through work stress as a moderating variable. This study is included in the causal research category using a quantitative approach. Sampling using the Slovin Formula totaling 53 employees from a population of 113 people. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. This study analyzed using the help of Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) software version 3.0 to test the strength of the relationship between turnover intention and its independent variables, namely the work environment, workload, and work stress as a moderating variable. The results of this study are the work environment has a significant effect on turnover intention. Workload does not have a significant effect on turnover intention. Work stress is not able to moderate the influence of the work environment and workload on turnover intention.

Abstract

The phenomenon of job hopping is increasingly common among Generation Z, who seek flexible work arrangements, fair rewards, and job satisfaction. In Indonesia, particularly in West Kalimantan, Gen Z dominates the productive-age population, prompting companies to adopt effective retention strategies. This study investigates the effect of work flexibility and rewards on employee retention, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research involved 250 Gen Z employees working in the creative industry companies in West Kalimantan. Respondents were aged 17–28 and had at least six months of work experience, working in hybrid arrangements. Data was collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. Results show that both work flexibility and rewards significantly influence employee retention directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. These findings highlight that Gen Z values a supportive, flexible work environment and transparent reward systems. Enhancing job satisfaction is essential for increasing their retention in organizations

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh workload dan compensation terhadap job satisfaction, dengan work-life balance sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan usaha kuliner di Desa Sungai Raya Dalam, Kalimantan Barat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode sensus, data diperoleh dari 182 responden melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik PLS-SEM melalui perangkat lunak SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa workload memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap work-life balance dan job satisfaction, sementara compensation memberikan dampak positif terhadap job satisfaction dan work-life balance. Selain itu, work-life balance terbukti secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara workload dan compensation terhadap job satisfaction. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan workload, pemberian compensation yang layak, serta dukungan terhadap work-life balance dalam upaya meningkatkan job satisfaction pada karyawan di usaha kuliner.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has an impact on many areas, including product marketing. One way to market products in the digital era is to use social media as a marketing method to promote products. The high social media use by the general public is an excellent opportunity for business people to expand their market reach. And without any restrictions. One of the products widely promoted via social media is beauty products, which are currently increasingly competitive. Therefore, the right product marketing strategy must be implemented to attract consumer attention through social media. This research aims to determine the impact of informative value, entertainment value, and trust in brand posts on purchase decisions for Somethinc products. The questionnaire used in the data collection process had 225 participants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and AMOS statistical tools. These findings show that informative value and entertainment value have a positive and significant influence on trust in brand posts, and trust in brand posts also has a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions. Trust in brand posts mediates between informative value and entertainment value and purchase decisions

Abstract

Manajemen sumber daya manusia memegang peranan penting dalam pengelolaan pariwisata, terutama pada destinasi yang dikelola secara swadaya dengan berbagai keterbatasan. Pengelolaan yang efektif tidak hanya mendorong pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif baik ekonomi dan sosial bagi masyarakat setempat. Masyarakat disebut sebagai sumber daya manusia eksternal pada penelitian ini memiliki peran sentral dalam memajukan kawasan wisata selain menjadi bagian dari daya tarik wisata melalui lingkungan sosial, adat, dan budaya lokal yang dimiliki mereka juga memiliki hak untuk memperoleh kontribusi pada aspek peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Upaya ini harus dilakukan secara berkelanjutan, tidak cukup hanya dengan pelatihan, tetapi juga mencakup pengembangan kapasitas yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara dan observasi, serta data sekunder melalui kajian pustaka. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan dukungan desain verifikatif-evaluatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan manajemen sumber daya manusia strategis yang matang dan berkelanjutan sangat diperlukan dalam pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia, baik internal (pengelola) maupun eksternal (masyarakat), harus terstruktur dan berkesinambungan. Pendekatan kolaboratif seperti model pentahelix menjadi strategi efektif dalam memperkuat pariwisata berbasis swadaya masyarakat.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan Knowledge Management dan kepemimpinan (Leadership) serta kinerja organisasi (Organizational Performance) terhadap keunggulan kompetitif (Competitive Advantage) yang dimediasi oleh Efektivitas Sistem Informasi di BRI Corporate University Ragunan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode survei yang diberikan kepada responden yang merupakan karyawan BRI Corporate University Ragunan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik convenience sampling. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif, analisis regresi, dan analisis mediasi dengan memakai instrumen SPSS 24 dengan jumlah sampel 110 responden. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan Knowledge Management dan Leadership memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Organizational Performance (Kinerja Organisasi). Selain itu, Kinerja Organisasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keunggulan Daya Saing. Efektivitas Sistem Informasi memiliki peran mediasi yang signifikan antara penerapan Knowledge Management, Leadership, dan Organizational Performance terhadap Keunggulan Daya Saing. Implikasi penelitian ini memberi pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pentingnya integrasi Knowledge Management, Leadership, Kinerja Organisasi, dan Sistem Informasi dalam menciptakan Keunggulan Daya Saing bagi BRI Corporate University Ragunan dan organisasi serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of social interaction and social support on employee performance with job satisfaction as moderation. The analysis used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population of this study was employees from several companies totaling 65 people. The data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires, interviews and literature studies, and the analysis method used Smart PLS software. The findings in this research are that social interaction and social support influence employee performance. Job satisfaction as a moderating variable is able to moderate social interaction and social support on employee performance.

Abstract

Karyawan marketing merupakan ujung tombak perusahaan dalam memperoleh keuntungan, besarnya peran tenaga kerja marketing menuntut manajemen perusahaan untuk mengelolahnya secara maksimal. Kepuasan kerja menjadi salah satu faktor yang memberikan dampak positif terhadap kinerja karyawan sedangkan kepuasan kerja dipengaruhi oleh faktor Kompensasi dan motivasi yang diberikan. Pandemi Covid-19 yang lalu telah membentuk kebiasaan baru dalam lingkup masyarakat saat ini tak terkecuali dalam kinerja suatu organisasi. Hasil uji penelitian ini menunjukkan kompensasi, motivasi, dan kepemimpinan secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif secara langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan marketing sedangkan kepemimpinan sebagai variabel intervening terhadap kepuasan kerja tidak memberikan dampak yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Data Primer dikumpulkan melalui survei lapangan   dengan menggunakan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kepada karyawan marketing dibeberapa perusahaan yang ada di Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Analisis Jalur yang diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada perusahaan faclitiy service dan menjelaskan pentingnya knowledge management dalam efektivitas berinovasi di era disrupsi yang dicirikan oleh kecepatan, kemudahan, efisiensi dan biaya rendah dalam operasional perusahaan. Penelitian adalah untuk memahami sejauh mana leadership style, knowledge sharing, kolaborasi berpengaruh terhadap implementasi knowledge management dan dampaknya terhadap efektivitas berinovasi karyawan pada perusahaan facility service. Penelitian ini masuk pada eksplanatori research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif guna menjelaskan pengaruh hubungan kausal variabel penelitian, pengujian hipotesisnya serta menjelaskan causality relationship antar variabelnya, Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 110 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Analisis menggunakan software SPSS 25, hasil analisis gaya kepemimpinan (style leadership), knowledge sharing dan kolaborasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap implementasi knowledge management. Selain itu, implementasi knowledge management juga berpengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas berinovasi karyawan. Dari hasil penelitian untuk meningkatkan efektivitas berinovasi di era disrupsi perusahaan dapat memperhatikan pentingnya gaya kepemimpinan yang mendukung knowledge sharing dan kolaborasi, serta memprioritaskan knowledge management yang efektif.
