Abstract

Kelapa sawit merupakan komoditas perkebunan di Indonesia yang mempunyai nilai  yang sangat tinggi untuk masa depan serta mempunyai prospek yang cerah karean kebutuhan terus meningkat. Semut (Formicidae) merupakan kelompok serangga tanah yang berperan penting dalam ekosistem kelapa sawit. Semut mempunyai fungsi sebagai predator alami, dan agen dispersi biji serta bahan organik, yang mempengaruhi kesuburan tanah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman spesies semut pada tanaman kelapa sawit di berbagai fase pertumbuhan di PT. Mopoli Raya, Rantau, Aceh Tamiang.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah famili semut pada perkebunan kelapa sawit yang belum menghasilkan sama dengan perkebunan kelapa sawit yang menghasilkan berjumlah yaitu masing-masing 15 famili. Jumlah morfospesies semut lebih banyak ditemukan pada tanaman yang sudah berproduksi dibandingkan dengan tanaman yang belum berproduksi, yakni masing-masing sebanyak 15 dan 10 morfospesies. Spesies dominan adalah Polyrhachis memiliki jumlah tertinggi dengan 19 individu, mewakili 11% dari total populasi , Polyrhachis mendominasi dengan jumlah 31 individu (11%), Formicidae G12 (8%) dan Formicidae G10 (5%). Kekayaan, keanekaragaman dan kemerataan semut pada tanaman kelapa sawit yang telah menghasilkan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan tanaman yang belum menghasilkan.

Abstract

Based on the research conducted at RS Harapan Magelang, this study investigates the impacts of workload and work stress on job satisfaction and turnover intention. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing data gathered through questionnaires administered to nurses and midwives. The findings show that workload and work stress do not significantly affect job satisfaction, with statistical results indicating no substantial relationships. Additionally, the study reveals that work stress positively and significantly impacts turnover intention, suggesting that higher stress levels lead to a stronger desire to leave the job. However, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between workload or stress and turnover intention. This highlights the importance of addressing stress management in the workplace to reduce turnover and improve employee retention. The results provide valuable insights for organizational strategies aiming to enhance employee well-being and decrease turnover rates.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of education level, unemployment rate, and health level on economic growth and poverty rates in Indonesia during the 2010–2023 period. Panel data from 33 provinces sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) were utilized. Education level was measured by average years of schooling, unemployment by the open unemployment rate, and health by life expectancy. Economic growth was assessed using Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and poverty was measured by the poverty line. Multiple linear regression analysis with two models was employed to examine direct and mediating effects. The results indicate that education and health levels have significant negative effects on poverty and a positive effect of education on economic growth. The unemployment rate showed no significant impact on either poverty or economic growth. Economic growth was not found to significantly mediate the relationship between independent variables and poverty. These findings provide important insights into the factors influencing poverty and economic growth in Indonesia, emphasizing the role of human capital development in regional economic policies.

Abstract

This paper aims to evaluate the ARIMA-Kalman model in predicting rainfall in Medan City for the year 2023. The data used are historical observation data of rainfall from 2013 to 2022 that have been tested for stationary and homogeneity, which proved not to require additional correction. The analysis results show that the ARIMA-Kalman model can capture the general pattern of rainfall well, and shows superiority in producing predictions that are closer to the actual data, with a mean absolute error (MAE) value of 54.11, which is lower than the MAE of the ARIMA model which reaches 55.66. Although the ARIMA model has a smaller root mean square error (RMSE) (66.67 compared to 69.75 for ARIMA-Kalman), the ARIMA-Kalman model shows better consistency, especially in capturing significant fluctuations, such as the peak rainfall that occurred in July 2023. Therefore, ARIMA-Kalman is proven to be more accurate and reliable for predicting rainfall in Medan city, making it a better choice to support water resources planning and management.

Abstract

The Indian Ocean plays a crucial role in the global climate system, particularly in influencing the seasons in Indonesia. Sea surface temperature (SST) variability in the Indian Ocean affects rainfall patterns, extreme events, such as droughts and floods, in Indonesia. This study analyzes SST variability during the dry season (June – July – August, JJA) and rainy season (December – January – February, DJF) using satellite and reanalysis data from 1981 to 2023 with the empirical orthogonal function (EOF) method. The analysis shows that the dominant SST variability pattern during JJA is related to the Indian Ocean dipole (IOD), which influences rainfall and temperature patterns in Indonesia. In DJF, SST variability is more associated with the Asian-Australian monsoon, affecting rainfall patterns and the potential for floods. This research enhances the understanding of climate dynamics in the Indian Ocean and its impact on Indonesia, and it can be used to predict extreme climate events associated with SST variability.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between Islamic law (Sharia) and Customary law (Adat law) in the social context of West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The study's primary objective is to examine how these two legal systems coexist and interact within the region. The study employs a qualitative methodology, with data collection conducted through interviews with key informants, including religious leaders, Customary authorities, community members, and local government officials. The study also examines selected documents to ascertain the content of Customary law that is explicitly or implicitly related to Islamic law. The study finds that West Kalimantan Customary law has adopted Islamic law into its legal structure, as evidenced by the emergence of specific vocabulary or terms known in Islamic law that have similar meanings. Furthermore, there are differences in the situation between the Malay heartland, where Islam is strict, and the non-Malay heartland (Dayak Zone), where Islam is loose. These findings demonstrate local Customary law's active role, resilience, and adaptability in socio-economic change and broader legal reform. This study significantly contributes to law and sociology and offers a deeper understanding of the dialogue between Customary law and religion.

Abstract

Background: Knee osteoarthritis is one of the most common degenerative conditions in older adults, often causing pain and limited range of motion (ROM), which negatively affects quality of life. Physiotherapy management plays an important role in reducing pain, improving flexibility, and maintaining joint function. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions in reducing pain and improving ROM in elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis. Method: A case study was conducted on a 63-year-old patient at Dr. Soedjono Level II Hospital, Magelang, who underwent three therapy sessions consisting of Infrared (IR), Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) with the hold-relax technique, and static cycling. Assessments were carried out using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Likert Gait Scale (LGS), and the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). Results: The findings showed a significant reduction in pain on palpation (from 4/10 to 1/10), improvement in knee flexion ROM (from 110° to 135°), and functional enhancement indicated by a decrease in WOMAC scores from 39.58% to 27.08%. Conclusion: These results suggest that structured physiotherapy interventions provide therapeutic benefits in reducing pain, improving joint flexibility, and enhancing functional ability in elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis.

Abstract

Human Organization Technology Net-Benefit (HOT-Fit) model is used to analyze information systems through 4 (four) dimensions: people, organization, technology, and net benefits. This study aims to analyze the implementation of RME with the HOT-Fit approach through data integration at RSIA Assyifa, Tangerang City. The research method is quantitative with data collection using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The sample consisted of 95 respondents of health workers and non-health workers who used RME. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) version 3.0. In this study, there are 22 hypotheses, consisting of 17 direct influences and 5 (five) indirect influences. The results of the study show that system quality, information quality, and service quality have a significant positive effect on system use. Furthermore, system quality and information quality have a significant positive effect on user satisfaction, but service satisfaction does not affect user satisfaction. Next, system quality has a significant positive effect on organizational structure, as well as service quality which has a significant positive effect on the organizational environment. In addition, the organizational environment has a significant positive effect on net benefits, but in contrast to the variables of system usage, user satisfaction, and organizational structure which do not have a significant effect on net benefits. Related to the organizational aspect, the net benefit aspect, and data integration have a significant positive effect on RME implementation, while the technology aspect and human aspect do not have a significant effect on RME implementation. Data integration mediates the indirect effect of the technology aspect, the organization aspect, and the net benefit aspect on RME implementation, while data integration does not mediate the effect of the human aspect on RME implementation.

Abstract

Online meeting activities have become mandatory since the Covid-19 pandemic. PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia has utilized the zoom cloud meeting application to use remote meetings for internal and external use. However, in practice, the process of ordering and creating meeting schedules is still done manually and has not been integrated so that this is felt to be less than optimal and can lead to errors caused by someone (human error) which results in clashes in the schedule for using the zoom meeting account. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based zoom meeting management application at PT PLN EPI. The system development method is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The system design uses the programming language PHP and MySQL as the database. System testing is done using black box testing. The results of this study are the successful creation of a web-based zoom meeting account management system at PT PLN EPI which is able to improve the quality of zoom meeting account management so that management related to zoom meeting scheduling can be carried out automatically because it is already integrated by the system, which can avoid clashes in the use of zoom accounts .

Abstract

Mensortir merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang sangat penting yang dilakukan oleh peternak telur ayam khususnya peternak telur ayam kampung sebelum didistribusikan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memisahkan telur berdasarkan kualitasnya. Untuk mempermudah pemilihan telur yang bagus dan telur jelek maka digunakan alat pendeteksi dan penyortir telur dengan memanfaatkan teknologi IoT menggunakan sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) dan sensor Photodiode yang nantinya dapat dimonitoring pada aplikasi Blynk untuk dapat mengetahui kondisi telur bagus dan telur jelek dengan mengamati nilai ADC (Analog Digital Converter). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan memanfaat keakuratan dari sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) dan sensor Photodiode. Pada proses pengujian kedua sensor menggunakan 10 telur ayam kampung yang dimana terdapat 5 telur bagus dan 5 telur jelek dengan masing-masing 2 kali percobaan dan diperoleh nilai ADC jika <456 untuk telur jelek dan nilai ADC >456 dinyatakan telur bagus. Pada pengujian sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) didapatkan total akurasi deteksi sebesar 80% dan pengujian sensor Photodiode didapatkan total akurasi deteksi 50%. Pada pengukuran parameter QoS rata-rata delay alat didapatkan hasil 302,15 ms, rata-rata Delay jaringan didapatkan hasil 65,34 ms. Jadi, akurasi pendeteksian antara sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) dan Photodiode didapatkan bahwa sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistance) lebih baik dalam mendeteksi intensitas cahaya dibandingkan sensor Photodiode.
