Abstract

Iron sand, which contains magnetite iron ore, exhibits unique magnetic properties when exposed to magnetic fields. Iron ore content, including ?-Fe2O3, FeTiO3, Magnetite (Fe3O4), and others, provides potential uses in various industries such as electronics, energy, chemical, ferrofluids, catalysts, and biomedicine. The location of the discovery of iron sand can affect its mineral characteristics and geological conditions. This research aims to develop innovative synthesis methods to produce hematite nanomaterials from iron sand. Nano-size hematite nanoparticles exhibit unique characteristics, including an increase in specific surface area that is beneficial in applications such as gas sensors, catalysts, lithium-ion batteries, and the manufacture of permanent magnets. Through a literature review, this article presents comprehensive insights into the characteristics of iron sand, variations in synthesis methods, and the structure of hematite nanoparticles. Applications of hematite nanoparticles in water treatment, catalysis, and energy storage are also detailed. This article is expected to contribute to the development of innovative nanomaterial technologies as well as explore the potential of iron sand resources for wider industrial applications.

Abstract

In the midst of the complexity of global challenges and technological developments, improving the quality of educators at SDN Cigebar is the main focus in responding to the demands of the times. Educators, as key change agents, have a big responsibility in preparing future generations to face increasingly dynamic changes. Therefore, this research aims to explain the concept of improving the quality of educators and its positive impact on the education system. In addition, this research also analyzes various strategies and approaches, including training, professional development, and best practices in education, that can be used to improve the quality of educators. Improving the quality of educators has become a global agenda, in line with increasingly high expectations from society regarding the quality of education provided to the younger generation. The main focus of the research is to find solutions to improve the quality of educators through integrated quality management, involving various stakeholders in education, such as school principals, teachers, administrative staff, parents and the community. Various efforts to improve the quality of education were discussed, starting from teacher training and development, responsive curriculum development, use of educational technology, to active involvement of parents and the community. In an ever-changing global context, improving the quality of education is considered very important to create a competent and competitive society. This research also highlights the key role of teachers in developing the quality of education. Teachers, as the main agents in the educational process, have a vital role in forming the young generation and preparing them to face a future full of challenges. Focusing on teacher professional competence is a priority, because competent teachers can provide a more meaningful and adequate learning experience for students. Furthermore, this research tries to link learning methods based on local wisdom through the traditional game congklak with improving the quality of education in class 1 of SDN Cigebar. By exploring the potential of local wisdom, this research tries to provide concrete and innovative solutions to improve the quality of learning, strengthen student engagement, and create a learning environment that supports children's holistic development. In the process, research identified several problems, such as low quality of learning and lack of student engagement. The local wisdom method using the congklak game is proposed as a solution to stimulate students' intelligence and involvement more actively in the learning process. Thus, this research has important implications in shaping the direction of better education policy and making a positive contribution to improving the quality of education, especially in class 1 of SDN Cigebar. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide valuable insights and recommendations for improvement in efforts to improve the quality of educators in the education system more broadly.

Abstract

This research examines Organizational Quality Management in Schools. Education is a process to prepare humans to live better and more prosperously in facing the future. The quality of education is a key factor in increasing the capacity and ability of an educational institution, which aims to meet the demands of students and society so that they are able to adapt in the future. The decline in the quality of education in Indonesia in general can be seen from the low quality of graduates, the poor national education system and the low level of human resources. The quality of education needs to be managed in an orderly and sustainable manner to bring satisfactory results. So quality management is needed in school organizations. This research method is literature study research, by collecting data from several articles. The research results show that education quality management is moving educational institutions to continually and continuously increase the capacity and ability of their institutions to meet the demands of students and society so that they are able to adapt amidst the progress of globalization.

Abstract

Administrative and organizational management has a central role in the management of entities, including companies, government organizations, and non-profit institutions. The focus involves planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring administrative activities to achieve goals efficiently. This research explores various aspects related to administrative and organizational management, with an emphasis on in-depth understanding of challenges and innovation in approaches to solving them. This research also identifies novelties in holistic approaches to administrative and organizational management, enriching management literature and practice. Through mixed-methods, this research combines qualitative and quantitative elements to provide a comprehensive picture of the factors that influence management, administration and organizations. In the discussion, this research highlights the urgency of organizational efficiency by considering factors such as vision and mission, organizational structure, strategy, human resources and organizational culture. Controlling is the key to building organizational efficiency by implementing appropriate management functions, economical use of resources, and sustainable organizational direction and dynamics. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that organizational efficiency and effectiveness are fundamental to achieving goals. Therefore, this research makes a new contribution to management literature and practice by detailing the factors that influence organizational efficiency and offering a new outlook on the management of modern organizations.

Abstract

Apron proteksi radiasi efektif dalam mengurangi paparan laju dosis radiasi sinar-X, namun sebagai baju pelindung radiasi masih memiliki kelemahan, diantaranya relatif berat (5 - 7 kg) sehingga akan berdampak buruk pada sistem musculoskeletal tubuh terutama pada posisi tulang belakang. Tujuan penelitian untuk memperoleh sintesis komposit material apron proteksi radiasi yang dapat menyerap radiasi sinar-X secara optimal dan nyaman digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahan serat kaktus Opuntia ficus-indica ukuran 80 mesh, disintesis dengan timbal (II) asetat sebagai bahan pengisi dengan variasi 20, 33, 50, 67, dan 80% sehingga diperoleh tebal komposit berkisar 0,36 - 0,74 cm. Pengujian menggunakan rontgen radiografi umum dan alat ukur radiasi Unfors RaySafe XI dengan energi 80 kVp, arus 50 mA, serta jarak antara tabung sinar-X dengan detektor sejauh 100 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makin banyak komposisi serat kaktus pada sampel, makin kecil nilai koefisien atenuasi yang diperoleh. Koefisien atenuasi maksimum adalah 3,85 cm-1 diperoleh pada variasi timbal (II) asetat 80% dengan tebal 0,41 cm dan berat RAR 84%. Pada variasi 80% tersebut diperoleh densitas paling optimal, koefisien atenuasi, dan RAR paling tinggi, serta HVL paling rendah.

Abstract

99mTc-pertehnetat berguna untuk pengobatan yang disertai dengan adanya info pemberian dosis ke tubuh manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui estimasi dosis radiofarmaka 99mTc Pertehnetat pada anak-anak usia 1-15 tahun. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan berbasis uji biodistribusi mencit dengan interval waktu 0,5, 1, 3, 5, 24 jam pasca injeksi radiofarmaka. Dari data hasil uji biodistribusi diperoleh %ID/gram organ mencit, dikonversikan ke %ID/gram organ manusia. Setelah itu, hasil perhitungan diinput ke software OLINDA/EXM dengan mengamati perbedaan dosis efektif untuk anak-anak usia 1-15 tahun. Berdasarkan nilai %ID/gram organ manusia masing-masing aktivitas uptake pada interval waktu pasca injeksi dari organ tertinggi dihasilkan yaitu, otot, hati, paru-paru, dan lambung. Hasil perbandingan dosis efektif OLINDA/EXM  menggunakan t hewan dan t manusia dapat diketahui hasil yang diperoleh menghasilkan nilai dosis efektif yang lebih kecil dibandingkan setelah dikonversi ke t manusia. Rata-rata dosis serap dari organ tertinggi pada OLINDA/EXM berada di tiroid, lambung, paru-paru dan. Hasil dosis efektif yang diperoleh untuk usia 1 tahun  1.11 x 10-2, 5 tahun 6.01 x 10-3 , 10 tahun 3.96 x 10-3 dan 15 tahun 2.50 x 10-3 . Oleh sebab itu, besar dosis efektif yang dihasilkan semakin besar terhadap umur pasien yang lebih muda.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of goat manure bokashi on the growth and yields of red ginger plants as well as soil fertility. The study took place between July 2021 and October 2021, conducted in the experimental field at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tadulako, using soil samples from Tinombo Sub District, Parigi Moutong District. The application of goat manure resulted in a significant increase in plant height, leaf number, and red ginger tuber weight compared to the control group. Moreover, the overall soil fertility was enhanced by the addition of goat manure bokashi. Notably, the treatment with 30 t/ha of bokashi exhibited the highest soil pH (7.40) with 3.55% organic carbon content, 0.19% total nitrogen, 54.46 mg P2O5/100 g, 69.61 mg K2O /100g, and a cation exchange capacity (CEC) of 22.41 (cmol (+)/kg).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui jenis dan kadar logam berat tanah yang terdapat di sekitar area terdampak tsunami di Kelurahan Tondo. Analisis sifat kima tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Sumber Daya Lahan dan Lingkungan Fakultas Pertanian Universias Tadulako, Palu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling. Pengambilann sampel tanah dilakukan pada titik koordinat di enam tempat yang terdampak tsunami. Pengambilan sampel tanah tidak utuh menggunakan sekop dengan kedalaman (15-20 cm). Uji logam berat dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat logam berat Titanium (Ti) dengan konsentrasi tertinggi yaitu 0,278% dan terendah 0,200% , Kromium (Cr) dengan konsentrasi tertinggi yaitu 0,018% dan terendah 0,010% , dan Vanadium (V) dengan konsentrasi tertinggi yaitu 0,022% dan terendah 0,014%. Ini menunjukkan kandungan unsur logam berat titanium dan kromium sudah termasuk dalam kategori tercemar karena konsentrasi logam berat yang terkandung dalam tanah sudah melebihi ambang batas yang telah ditetapkan. Sedangkan unsur logam vanadium masih tergolong dalam kriteria rendah dari ambang batas kritis logam berat..

Abstract

This research discusses the role of madrasa heads in improving teacher competency. Professional competence is the ability to master broad and in-depth learning material that enables guiding students to meet the competency standards set out in National Education Standards. A professional teacher is not only competent in the mastery of the material, the use of appropriate methods, but there is also a desire to always improve the professional abilities and the desire to always develop strategies in carrying out their duties as instructors as well as educators so that the teaching-learning process can reach the level optimal. The head of the madrasah approaches the teachers and then makes plans in the form of seminars, training, seminars, workshops, MGMP activities. The implementation carried out by the madrasa head involves involving teachers in activities such as workshops, upgrading, MGMP and seminars.
