Social health insurance is insurance that must be followed by all or part of the population (an example employees), to involved and contributions are not a nominal value but a percentage of the salary to be paid, and insurance benefits. The development of public health services in Indonesia has succeeded in improving health services more evenly. Advances in science and technology have resulted in more and more educated and informed community groups so that they can choose and demand quality health services especially with health insurances coverage

Social security is a constitutional right owned by citizens that must be fulfilled by the state for its citizens in Indonesia. The growth of companies in Indonesia has increased from year to year. One of the service companies that is developing is an insurance company. Lots of private insurance companies are also growing and developing at this time. However, in the midst of competition from insurance companies, there is a new policy from the government. The government policy is one of the state-owned insurance companies, PT. Askes (Persero) changed its name to BPJS which applies to all people. Currently PT. Askes (Persero) changed to BPJS which serves all Indonesian citizens without any difference. The implementation of BPJS in early year 2014, seems to have had an impact on a number of insurance companies. This mandatory program from the government inevitably affects the competitive landscape of the insurance industry in Indonesia, especially private insurance companies that serve health and other private insurance companies. In the end, competition is expected to become a mechanism capable of creating efficiency that functions as a tool to protect consumers and business actors. This study uses a qualitative method, aiming to analyze the development of BPJS, its developments and implications, especially in the world of healthcare insurance business in Indonesia. From healthy insurance business and competition, it is hoped that efficient, effective, and high-quality production will be achieved. So that the ultimate goal of this research is to highlight what are the things that benefit consumers because they are given the opportunity to have a choice of quality products and can buy at competitive prices which tend to be relatively cheap.

Abstract

The existence of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) implementation means that everyone in Indonesia will have access to the health services they need, when and where they need it, without financial hardship. It covers a wide range of essential health services, from health promotion to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and miscellaneous care. Many countries are already making progress towards UHC, although the ubiquity of the global covid-19 pandemic is impacting the availability of health systems' ability to provide undamaged healthcare. All countries can take action to move more quickly towards UHC despite the setbacks caused by the pandemic, or to maintain the gains they have made. Indonesia continues to strive to realize Universal Health Coverage (UHC) through the implementation of the National Health Insurance-Healthy Indonesia Card (JKN-KIS) program whose program has been implemented by the government since 2014. Since the enactment of the policy on providing health services for the community through the National Health Insurance and the Healthy Indonesia card (JKN-KIS) by the Government, there have been more than 40 million people who have not been registered as participants in the National Health Insurance-Healthy Indonesia Card (JKN-KIS) program. This study uses a qualitative method by making a literature review with the aim of making it affordable for those whose health has not been protected through JKN-KIS services. As a recommendation in efforts to accelerate the achievement of UHC, the government must be committed to reducing the level of inequality between provinces and regions as well as regions in Indonesia, by building better health infrastructure and facilities, including a more even distribution of health workers in provinces with a UHC service coverage index that is still low.

Abstract

The rapid growth of informal personal shopper (Jastip) services in Indonesia, driven by social media, reflects a growing market demand for convenient access to diverse products, though the lack of formal guarantees in transactions highlights the critical role of consumer trust. This study aims to explore the antecedents of consumer trust price, perceived risk, and reputation and their influence on online purchase intention within the Jastip context. Employing a quantitative research approach with a causal design, data was collected from 130 Jastip consumers in Jakarta, Indonesia, via an online questionnaire, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Lisrel software. The results indicate that price and reputation significantly and positively influence consumer trust, which in turn directly impacts online purchase intention. Crucially, consumer trust fully mediates the relationship between price and online purchase intention, as well as between reputation and online purchase intention. However, perceived risk was found to have no significant influence on consumer trust, nor did it mediate the relationship between perceived risk and online purchase intention. These findings highlight the importance of price perception and reputation in cultivating consumer trust, which is essential for driving online purchase intention in Jastip services, while suggesting that factors like hedonic motivations or social trust may override traditional risk assessments in informal online service contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Social Media Marketing on Repurchase Intention by including Brand Love and Brand Loyalty as mediating variables in consumers of gluten-free Rq Cookies products. The phenomenon of the emergence of public awareness of a healthy lifestyle has encouraged the development of various gluten-free products in Indonesia, including those produced by the MSME Rq Cookies. To understand consumer behavior, this study uses a quantitative method through a survey of 152 respondents who have purchased Rq Cookies products and actively follow brand activities on social media such as Instagram and TikTok. Data analysis uses the SEM-PLS software. The results show that Social Media Marketing has a positive and significant influence on Brand Love, Brand Loyalty, and Repurchase Intention. However, Brand Love does not have a significant influence on Repurchase Intention and does not act as a mediator in the relationship between Social Media Marketing and Repurchase Intention. In contrast, Brand Loyalty is proven to have a significant influence on Repurchase Intention and is able to mediate the relationship. These findings indicate that loyalty plays a stronger role than emotional aspects in the context of repeat purchases of gluten-free products. The managerial implication is that Rq Cookies needs to strengthen its social media strategy by focusing on increasing brand loyalty through consistent, informative content that highlights the quality and health value of gluten-free products, including developing a community of consumers who care about a healthy lifestyle.
