Abstract

Myrmecodia pendens Merr.& Perry. is a plant that has been widely used as a traditional medicine. One of the chemical active componen in Myrmecodia pendens is flavonoid . The purpose of this study was to determine flavonoid group and that content in Myrmecodia pendens. Extraction method used maceration with 96% ethanol. Qualitative test conducted by phytochemical screening and TLC with stationary phase silica GF254nm and buthanol:acetic acid: water ( 4:1:5 ) as mobile phase. Flavonoid group dan quanitative assay used UV- Vis spectrophotometry methode. The results showed that in Myrmecodia pendens extract contains flavonoids kind Flavonols 3-OH-free and 5-OH-free. Flavonoid total of Myrmecodia pendens ethanol extract 0,6126 % b ⁄b of quercetine.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the eyelash sewing technique on monolid eye makeup results in European bridal styling. A quantitative one-shot case study was employed. Expert panels completed Likert-scale ratings complemented by visual documentation. Results indicate a significant difference between the sewing technique (mean 60.80) and non-sewing (mean 36.70); the paired t-test yielded p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The technique enhances aesthetics, proportion, and durability, thus recommended for brides with monolid eyes.

Abstract

PT Royal Teknik Gemilang is a company engaged in after-sales services for electronic products, where its reputation is highly dependent on its ability to handle customer complaints effectively. This study aims to identify the communication strategies implemented by the company in responding to customer complaints in order to maintain and enhance its reputation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, employing in-depth interviews with key informants. The findings indicate that the company applies seven main communication strategies: integrated two-way communication, proactive and structured responses, a solution-focused and win-win approach, simplified language, a supportive internal culture, data-driven evaluation, and reputation monitoring through surveys and digital media. These strategies are supported by an system and continuous training for the customer service team. Despite obstacles such as technician delays, the company is still perceived as professional and trusted by customers due to its ability to respond quickly and transparently. The implementation of symmetrical two-way communication serves as a key foundation for maintaining customer trust and building a sustainable reputation. Abstrak PT Royal Teknik Gemilang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang layanan purna jual produk elektronik, di mana reputasi sangat ditentukan oleh kemampuan dalam menangani keluhan customer secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan perusahaan dalam merespons keluhan customer guna menjaga dan meningkatkan reputasi perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam kepada key informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan menerapkan tujuh strategi komunikasi utama, yaitu: komunikasi dua arah yang terintegrasi, respons proaktif dan terstruktur, pendekatan solutif, penyederhanaan bahasa, budaya internal yang mendukung, evaluasi berbasis data, serta pemantauan reputasi melalui survei dan media digital. Strategi ini didukung oleh sistem serta pelatihan berkelanjutan kepada tim customer service. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterlambatan teknisi, perusahaan dinilai tetap profesional dan dipercaya oleh customer karena mampu merespons dengan cepat dan terbuka. Penerapan komunikasi dua arah simetris menjadi landasan utama dalam menjaga kepercayaan dan membangun reputasi yang berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Strategi Komunikasi, Keluhan Customer, Reputasi Perusahaan.

Abstract

This study explores the meaning of the “Deri & Dara” mascot as a symbol of the 2024 Depok Regional Election using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic approach. The mascot is considered a visual communication medium that represents local identity and democratic values. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, documentation, and an in-depth interview with the mascot designer, Bayu Eko Nurtanto.The findings reveal that in terms of icon, the starfruit, nail, and ballot paper directly represent the election process. As an index, the mascot’s gestures reflect cheerfulness, courage, and confidence, while the starfruit philosophy symbolizes balance and healthy democratic growth. At the symbolic level, the names “Deri” (Depok Riang) and “Dara” (Pilkada Gembira), the Hobo typeface, and the colors yellow, green, red, and white communicate optimism and active citizen participation.This, “Deri & Dara” function both as a visual identity and as a political communication medium integrating local values with democratic spirit. Keywords: Meaning of Design, Mascot, Symbol, Semiotics Charles Sanders Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas makna desain maskot “Deri & Dara” sebagai simbol Pilkada Depok 2024 melalui pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Maskot dipandang sebagai media komunikasi visual yang merepresentasikan identitas lokal dan nilai demokrasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan desainer maskot, Bayu Eko Nurtanto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek ikon, belimbing, paku pencoblos, dan surat suara menjadi representasi langsung Pilkada. Pada aspek indeks, gestur tubuh maskot merefleksikan keceriaan, keberanian, dan kepercayaan diri, sementara filosofi belimbing melambangkan keseimbangan demokrasi. Pada aspek simbol, nama “Deri” (Depok Riang) dan “Dara” (Pilkada Gembira), tipografi Hobo, serta warna kuning, hijau, merah, dan putih mengomunikasikan optimisme serta partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Dengan demikian, maskot “Deri & Dara” berfungsi sebagai identitas visual sekaligus medium komunikasi politik yang mengintegrasikan nilai lokal dan semangat demokrasi. Abstract

Perkembangan sektor pariwisata, khususnya keberadaan hotel sangat mendukung perekonomian nasional maupun internasional, namun berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan jika tidak dikendalikan dengan baik. Salah satu upaya pengendalian dampak lingkungan keberadaan hotel adalah dengan memantau dan mengevaluasi kualitas air limbah, udara ambien, dan kebisingan di lingkungan hotel secara periodik dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi kualitas air limbah, udara ambien, dan kebisingan di hotel X dan Y yang merupakan hotel berbintang di kota Manokwari, Papua Barat. Evaluasi dilakukan secara deskriptif terhadap data analisis in situ dan data laboratorium untuk parameter kualitas air limbah domestik yaitu TSS, pH, BOD, dan COD serta parameter kualitas udara ambien, yaitu suhu, SO2, CO, NO2, O3, Total Partikel Tersuspensi (TSP), Timbal (Pb), Non Metana Hidrokarbon (NMHC), serta parameter kebisingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas air limbah, udara ambien, dan kebisingan di lingkungan hotel X dan Y masih memenuhi standar baku mutu lingkungan yang diijinkan. Namun demikian, pemantauan dan evaluasi berkala perlu terus dilakukan agar hotel tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif di kemudian hari.

Abstract

Explores The Dynamics Of Sibling Conflict Triggered By Differing Perspectives, Responsibilities, And Life Priorities Within A Family. It Aims To Uncover The Meaning Of Family Conflict As Applied Through An Analysis Of The Denotation, Connotation, And Myth Present In The Film's Scenes, Dialogues, And Character Traits. Furthermore, This Research Utilizes Roland Barthes' Semiotic Approach To Explore The Denotative, Connotative, And Mythical Meanings Underlying The Conflicts Depicted In The Film's Scenes. The Film Successfully Represents Family Conflict As A Phenomenon Influenced By Emotions, Social Expectations, And Myths. The Conflicts That Arise, Particularly After The Mother's Passing, Ultimately Yield Meaning, Bringing The Family Back Together And Demonstrating That Conflict Can Lead To Restored Warmth And Closeness. The Main Finding In This Study Is How Major Conflicts That Occur Within Families Do Not All End In Separation, As In This Study It Was Found That With The Conflict That Occurred, It Could Reunite A Broken Family, Because There Was A Feeling Of Not Wanting To Lose Family Members Again, So That Warmth And Closeness Were Restored. Keywords: Meaning Of Family Conflict, Conflict Representation, Roland Barthes Semiotics.   Abstrak Film Ini Menggambarkan Dinamika Konflik Antar Saudara Yang Dipicu Perbedaan Pandangan, Tanggung Jawab, Dan Prioritas Hidup. Bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Makna Konflik Keluarga Yang Diterapkan Dengan Menganalisis Denotasi, Konotasi, Dan Mitos Dari Adegan, Dialog, Serta Karakteristik Tokoh Pada Film Tersebut. Selanjutnya Penelitian Ini Menggunakan Pendekatan Semiotika Roland Barthes Untuk Dapat Mengekplorasi Suatu Makna Denotasi, Konotasi Dan Mitos Yang Melatarbelakangi Konflik Dalam Adegan-Adegan Di Dalam Film. Film Ini Berhasil Merepresentasikan Konflik Keluarga Sebagai Fenomena Yang Dipengaruhi Emosi, Ekspektasi Sosial, Dan Mitos. Konflik Yang Terjadi, Terutama Setelah Kepergian Ibu, Pada Akhirnya Menghasilkan Makna. Temuan Utama Dalam Penelitian Ini Adalah Bagaimana Konflik Besar Yang Terjadi Di Dalam Keluarga Tidak Semua Berakhir Dengan Perpisahan, Seperti Halnya Dalam Penelitian Ini Ditemukan Dengan Adanya Konflik Yang Terjadi Dapat Menyatukan Kembali Keluarga Yang Tidak Utuh, Karena Memiliki Perasaan Tidak Ingin Kehilangan Anggota Keluarga Kembali, Maka Terciptanya Kembali Kehangatan Dan Kedekatan Yang Pulih. Abstract

Objective: PAD is the main source of regional financing to support government administration and development at the regional level. The reason why research on PAD is important is to measure regional financial independence, assess local economic potential, assess the impact of policies and programs and to increase transparency and accountability. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach and literature review. Results: there has been overlapping of duties and functions between fields, namely in the Tax and Levy Sector as well as the PBB P2 and BPHTB Sector, (2) not yet optimal in terms of planning and policy, (3) not yet optimal in digital databases (4) not yet optimal in management and coaching retribution; (5) there is no field that specifically handles inspection and enforcement Novelty: To fill the gap in research regarding PAD revenues related to organizational structure, the author focuses on analyzing reviews of organizational structure approaches to Regional Original Income, with the hope that this can provide useful insights for policy making in regional government and enrich existing literature regarding PAD management.

Abstract

Dendrophthoe petandra L. is a plant that attaches itself to cloves. in society, this plant is often considered a pest, even though this parasite plant can be used as a medicinal plant because it contains phytochemicals including flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins, alkaloids and saponins. Flavonoids are marker compounds that are responsible for the antioxidant and anticancer potential of clove parasite leaves. In the use of medicinal plants, people usually use simple extraction techniques with infusion. The aim of this study was to determine of total flavonoid levels ini leaf infusion of fresh and dry clove parasite leaves so as to provide information to the public on the proper preparation of ingredients before use. Identification of flavonoids using the alkaline test with NaOH, acid test with H2SO4 and willstater test. Determination of total flavonoid levels was carried out by UV-Vis spectrophotometry using AlCl3 and expressed as quercetin equivalent. The results showed that clove parasite leaves contained flavonoids with total flavonoid levels of 8,1977 ppm QE of fresh leaf infusion and 5,4407 ppm QE of dry leaf infusion. Comparison analysis of levels with One Way Anova showed that the total flavonoids of fresh clove parasite leaves were significantly greater than the dry leaves.

Abstract

Ulva sp. is a type of green algae that is easily found in the shallow seas of Indonesia and contains various bioactive compounds. Chlorophyll is a bioactive compound that functions as a natural dye, free radical scavenger, and antioxidant in the body. Chlorophyll extraction with conventional methods requires a relatively long time and large amount of solvent. In this research, chlorophyll extraction from Ulva sp. with the Ultrasound-Assisted Liquid Biphasic System (UALBS) method. Ulva sp. as much as 2.5 grams mixed in acetone solvent, added K2HPO4 solution, and carried out the sonification process in a dark room. The extraction process performs at a parameter range of 5-15 minutes, ratio 0.05-0.1 g/mL, and 60-100 mesh particle size. The extracted filtrate was added with petroleum ether and distilled water to form a biphasic condition. The extracted chlorophyll was analyzed with chromatography and spectrophotometry method. Antioxidant activity was analyzed using the DPPH method. The optimum result of Ulva sp. chlorophyll extraction at an extraction time of 10 minutes, the ratio of solids to solvent was 0.1, the particle size of 60 mesh produced a yield of 1.88% with chlorophyll a 20.13664%, chlorophyll b 21.58672% and total chlorophyll 41.71012%, and the percentage inhibition 45.32%.
