Abstract

Dalam Penelitian mengusulkan suatu model untuk mengkaji penentu suatu kepuasan belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran lingkungan menggunakan sistem e-learning, berdasarkan teori kognitif sosial. Model penelitiannya ini  untuk menguji menggunakan variabel kuesioner terhadap responden sebanyak  230 peserta. Analisis dalam  variabel  guna untuk menguji reliabilitas dan validitas suatu pengukuran. Metode kuadrat terkecil parsial  digunakan untuk memvalidasi suatu pengukuran dan hipotesis. Dalam temuan ini empiris menunjukkan adanya komputer serta ekspektasi kinerja, serta fungsionalitas sistem, fitur konten, interaksi, dan pembelajaran iklim adalah suatu penentu utama kepuasan belajar siswa. Di dalam Hasilnya ini  juga akan terlihat bahwa suatu iklim pembelajaran dan ekspektasi kinerja sangat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan belajar. fungsionalitas sistem, fitur konten dan interaksi secara signifikan mempengaruhi ekspektasi kinerja. Dalam Interaksi ini sangat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap iklim belajar. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran  tentang faktor variabel yang mungkin unsur terpenting dalam perencanaan serta penerapan sistem e-learning guna mencapai kesuksesan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of ZnO, FeO, MnO, and MgO dopants on the optical properties of phosphate-based glass within the P₂O₅–CaO system and compares the results with glasses using eggshell-derived CaO as an alternative calcium source. The glass samples were synthesized using the melt quenching method, followed by characterization using Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) and UV-Visible spectroscopy. EDX analysis confirmed that phosphorus and oxygen were the dominant elements in all samples, with successful incorporation of each dopant as a network modifier. UV-Vis analysis revealed that the optical properties of the glass were significantly affected by both dopant type and concentration. The addition of ZnO decreases absorbance and widens the band gap up to 10 mol%, indicating improved structural regularity of the glass network. MnO exhibits a non-linear trend, with the highest absorbance observed at 5 mol% and decreasing at higher concentrations. The band gap varies from 3.37 eV to 3.59 eV, suggesting a transition from a disordered to a more stable and compact glass structure. In contrast, FeO and MgO doping reduced the band gap energy due to increased formation of non-bridging oxygen and network disruption. Additionally, comparison with eggshell-derived CaO showed higher UV absorbance compared to glass made with pure CaO, especially in the wavelength range below 400 nm, indicating that the raw material source influences the optical performance of the glass. Overall, this research highlights the potential of tuning dopant concentration and utilizing sustainable raw materials to enhance the optical characteristics of phosphate glass for use in UV-blocking, optoelectronic, and sensor applications.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases among the elderly and remains a leading cause of death in Southeast Asia. The increasing number of elderly hypertensive patients in Indonesia, including in Kayong Utara Regency, highlights the importance of self-care behavior to prevent recurrence. Objective: To describe the self-care behavior of elderly patients in preventing hypertension recurrence at the Outpatient Clinic of Sultan Muhammad Jamaludin I Regional Hospital, Sukadana. Methods: This study employed a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 92 elderly patients with hypertension were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire covering five aspects of self-care: medication adherence, diet management, stress control, physical activity, and spirituality/worship. Results: Most respondents were aged 45–59 years (52.2%) and female (58.7%). A total of 91.3% of respondents were non-adherent to antihypertensive medication, while other self-care behaviors were categorized as good: emotional control (63%), physical activity (68.5%), dietary management (69.6%), and spirituality/worship (67.4%). Conclusion: The overall self-care behavior of elderly patients in preventing hypertension recurrence was generally good, except for medication adherence, which remained low. Continuous education and family support are needed to improve treatment adherence and prevent recurrence.

Abstract

Background: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is any degree of glucose intolerance with onset or first recognition during pregnancy. GDM can classify as A1GDM and A2GDM. Methods: This systematic review focused on full-text English literature published between 2014 and 2024 using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Editorials and review pieces published in the same              journal as the submission without a DOI were not accepted. The literature was compiled using PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SagePub, among other online venues. Result: Five publications were found to be directly related to our ongoing systematic examination after a rigorous three-level screening approach. Subsequently, a comprehensive analysis of the complete text was conducted, and additional scrutiny was given to these articles. Conclusion: Pregnancy insulin resistance or hypertriglyceridemia may be useful in GDM risk stratification. Future studies examining non-glycemic biochemical, genetic, other -omic, or sociocultural precision markers among women with GDM are warranted.

Abstract

The complexity of the IRT analysis makes it difficult to perform manually, therefore requiring easy-to-use software. While many software options exist for IRT analysis, the high cost of paid software can make it inaccessible for many students and lecturers in Indonesia. While the mirt package provides a complete, free option for IRT analysis, proficiency in the R programming language is required. This study aims to develop an R package for IRT analysis, equipped with a user-friendly interface based on the mirt package, designed to be easy to use for beginners in IRT analysis. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model is used for development and includes five stages: Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation, and System. The resulting package is named irtawsi and includes functionality comparable to paid software. This package can calibrate both test and non-test instruments using various IRT models, such as the Rasch, 2PL, 3PL, 4PL, GRM, PCM, and GPCM models. The irtawsi package functionality includes: (1) an easy-to-use user interface, (2) automatic interpretation of analysis results, (3) a guide for IRT analysis, (4) recommendations when assumptions are not met, (5) an HTML report format for analysis results,(6) support for two languages (Indonesian and English), (7) it is free, and (8) can be installed on Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. The results of this development contribute to the calibration process, making it easier for practitioners and researchers to calibrate the instruments being developed, especially for beginners who are learning IRT.

Abstract

Video is an audio visual media that displays images and sound. Learning videos present material, information and explain complex concepts to students in a more interesting way. This learning video is channeled using a problem-based approach. This study aims to determine the feasibility of problem-based learning videos according to the validation of material experts and media experts, to find out teacher assessments and student responses to the media developed. This study is a development research using the Lee & Owens model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The development product was validated by material experts and media experts and assessed by chemistry teachers who were then tested in small groups. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the learning video obtained a percentage of 87.8% with very decent qualifications from two material experts, 87.8% with very decent qualifications from two media experts and 96% with very good qualifications from chemistry teachers. Meanwhile, in the small group trial, the learning video obtained a percentage of 90.5% with very good qualifications. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning video developed is suitable for use as a medium in the chemistry learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Lee & Owens yaitu Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Instrument penilaian yang digunakan berupa lembar pedoman wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif komentar dan saran dan analisi data kuantitatif (rata-rata jawaban dan persentase). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Video pembelajaran Berbasis PjBL-STEAM Pada Materi Koloid untuk menumbuhkan literasi kimia peserta didik serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan, respon peserta didik dan kemampuan literasi kimia dari media yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebuah produk berupa video pembelajaran Berbasis PjBL-STEAM pada materi koloid untuk menumbuhkan literasi kimia, yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan rerata skor 4,78% dan 4,93% dengan kategori “sangat layak” sehingga dapat diujicobakan. Selanjutnya penilaian guru diperoleh % dengan kategori “4,72%”, serta mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta didik dengan persentase pada uji coba satu-satu 93% dan pada uji coba kelompok kecil 88,7% dengan kategori “sangat baik” dan hasil tes kemampuan literasi kimia peserta didik pada uji coba satu satu 76,6% dan pada uji coba kelompok kecil 77% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil yang di peroleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis PjBL-STEAM pada materi koloid berpotensi dalam menumbuhkan literasi kimia peserta didik serta layak digunakan secara teoritis dan praktis sebagai salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami konsep secara mandiri

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul sistem periodik unsur berbasis Guided Note Taking (GNT) dengan bantuan aplikasi VistaCreate dan FlipHtml5 serta mengetahui kelayakan, penilaian guru, dan respon siswa terhadap modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) 4D, yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate, namun hanya sampai tahap uji coba kelompok kecil pada 15 siswa kelas XI SMAN 3 Sungai Lilin. Instrumen penilaian berupa lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon guru serta siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan sangat valid secara konseptual dengan skor validitas >80%-100%, mendapat penilaian sangat valid dari guru, serta respon siswa sangat positif. E-modul ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sistem periodik unsur yang interaktif dan mendukung pemahaman konsep secara mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul sistem periodik unsur berbasis GNT berbantuan VistaCreate dan FlipHtml5 berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran kimia dan layak digunakan secara teoritis dan praktis

Abstract

The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach, which aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the role of teachers in shaping students' character in elementary schools. The data collection techniques applied include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. In-depth interviews were conducted with elementary school teachers who have experience in implementing character education, to explore their perspectives, methods used, and challenges they face in the process of forming student character. In addition, participant observation was carried out in the classroom to directly observe how teachers apply character values, both through habituation activities and their interactions with students in daily learning. This study concludes that elementary school teachers have a significant role in forming students' character from an early age through a value approach, habituation activities, and integration of moral values in learning. Teachers function not only as teachers but also as role models who demonstrate positive attitudes, which are expected to be internalized by students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of company reputation and service quality on purchasing decisions for headhunter services. This study is to determine the basis for consumer considerations in choosing a headhunter company, and for headhunter companies this research can be a reference in maintaining relationships with their customers. There are 3 hypotheses tested, and this study uses quantitative methods by conducting surveys. The sampling method is using probability sampling with a sample size of 115 respondents based on the hair formula. As for analyzing the data of this study using multiple linear regression analysis methods.The company's reputation and service quality both influence the decision to purchase headhunter services, with the main factor having higher relevance being the service quality variable. This study aims to determine the relationship of company reputation and service quality to purchasing decisions on professional recruitment services. Future research is expected to raise one case from a large headhunter company (local/international) regarding building the reputation of a headhunter service company. This is so that the headhunter Industry has a proven academic subject of what reputation looks like in the Headhunter Industry
