Abstract

This research aims to analyze the simultaneous and partial influence of teacher competencies (Pedagogical, Professional, Personality, and Social) on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Class IX at SMPN 2 Maros. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type. The study population was all Class IX students, with a sample of 55 respondents selected using a probability sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires converted to a 0-100 scale and analyzed using the multiple linear regression method. The findings indicate that the regression model meets the classical assumptions (normality and no multicollinearity). Simultaneously (F-test), teacher competencies (X1, X2, X3, and X4) significantly influence learning motivation (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 and a coefficient of determination (R^2) of 78.29\%. Partially (t-test), all dimensions of teacher competence—Pedagogical (0.0479), Professional (0.0413), Personality (0.0357), and Social (0.0016)—also demonstrate a significant influence on learning motivation as their respective significance values are less than 0.05. The results of effective contribution indicate that Social Competence provides the largest contribution (25.75\%) to students' learning motivation. Thus, the quality of teacher competence, particularly social competence, plays a crucial role in enhancing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

The student examines the learning difficulities of student in class VIII.1 SMP Negeri 11 Makassar in the subject of Islamic Education (PAI). The objective of this study is to determine the strategies used by PAI teachers to overcome learning difficulties of students. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews with PAI teachers and direct observation in the classroom. The results showed that PAI teachers use various strategies to overcome learning difficulties, including: (1) Personal approach: PAI teachers use a personal approach to understand students' needs and learning difficulties. (2) Varied learning methods: PAI teachers use varied learning methods to increase students' interest and motivation. (3) - Interesting learning media: PAI teachers use interesting learning media to help students understand difficult concepts.

Abstract

The aim of research is very important in achieving quality,both in the process and in educational graduates. The learning process also has the potential to contribute to the impact of low quality education. This means that learning is very dependent on the teacher's ability to carry out or package the learning process.The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to improve student learning outcomes. a research activity carried out in class. Classroom action research in this study was carried out in a collaborative and participatory manner. Collaborative means that researchers work together with class VIII teachers at SMP Negeri 41 Bulukumba.The improvement in student learning outcomes in cycle I already met the criteria, out of 28 students who got very good criteria as many as 12 students or 43% while students who got good criteria were 6 students or 21%, and students who got the criteria enough as many as 6 students or by 21%. And those who got the less category were 2 students or 7%, students who got the failed category were 2 students or 7% While in cycle II there were 28 students who got very good criteria as many as 21 students or 75% while students who got good criteria as many as 5 students or 17%, and students who get sufficient criteria as many as 1 student or 4%. And those who get less criteria are 1 student or 4% so that it can be said that student learning outcomes have increased.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan petani durian di Desa Malino melalui penerapan pendekatan Neraca Modal Alam (Natural Capital Accounting) sebagai strategi peningkatan kapasitas budidaya dan pengelolaan lahan petanian secara berkelanjutan. Fenomena awal menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Desa Malino memiliki tanah subur dan potensi agroklimat yang sangat mendukung, pemanfaatannya belum optimal karena keterbatasan pengetahuan teknis petani, minimnya modal, dan meningkatnya penjualan lahan akibat tekanan ekonomi. Melalui kegiatan survei, pelatihan, dan pendampingan berbasis partisipatif, dilakukan pemetaan modal alam, pelatihan budidaya durian montong, pembentukan kebun percontohan, serta penguatan manajemen usaha tani. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan petani (48% menjadi 86%), peningkatan keterampilan teknis budidaya, serta perubahan sikap terhadap pengelolaan modal alam dan pentingnya menjaga lahan produktif. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian SDG 1, SDG 2, dan SDG 15 melalui peningkatan kapasitas petani, penguatan ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian ekosistem

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kompetensi profesional guru, gambaran motivasi belajar peserta didik, serta pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di MA Guppi Rannaloe. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik MA Guppi Rannaloe yang berjumlah 30 orang sekaligus dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket (kuesioner) dengan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi profesional guru di MA Guppi Rannaloe berada pada kategori sedang, dengan 17% responden berada pada kategori tinggi, 66% berada pada kategori sedang, dan 17% pada kategori rendah; (2) motivasi belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang, dengan 13% responden berada pada kategori tinggi, 74% kategori sedang, dan 13% kategori rendah; (3) hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan nilai F hitung = 18,548 dengan signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan kompetensi profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Nilai korelasi diperoleh sebesar R = 0,502 dan koefisien determinasi R² = 0,252 yang berarti kompetensi profesional guru memberikan kontribusi sebesar 25,2% terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik, sedangkan 74,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan namun berada pada kategori rendah terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Village Funds in supporting farmers’ resilience to climate change and its implications for agricultural income using a social and cultural lens. Climate change has led to declining productivity, unstable harvest patterns, and reduced income for rural farming communities. Village Funds, as mandated through the State Budget (APBN), are designed to strengthen village development and community welfare, including climate adaptation efforts. This qualitative descriptive research was conducted in Kayu Jati Village, Ongka Malino Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong Regency, where the majority of residents depend on agriculture. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation involving farmers as key informants and village officials responsible for budget management. The study adopts Legitimacy Theory to explain how village governments justify fund allocation decisions in response to environmental and socio-cultural pressures. Findings indicate that Village Fund allocations for agriculture increased significantly between 2023 and 2024, reflecting a strategic shift toward climate-responsive programs. These programs include the construction and maintenance of farm access roads, provision of improved seeds and fertilizers, and farmer education on land use. The support of Gapoktan as a social institution also strengthens coordination and communication between farmers and the village government. Overall, Village Funds contribute positively to reducing farmers’ production costs, stabilizing income, and enhancing adaptive capacity to climate variability. The study highlights the importance of integrating climate accounting principles into village financial management to ensure sustainable agricultural development

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and the Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Department of Marine and Fisheries of Central Sulawesi Province in Palu City. The research aims to determine whether AIS and the Work Environment, both individually and simultaneously, contribute to variations in employee performance within a public-sector organization. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, and data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 40 employees selected using purposive sampling. The instrument passed validity and reliability tests, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by classical assumption testing. The results reveal that AIS and the Work Environment simultaneously have a significant influence on Employee Performance, indicating that both factors together play a meaningful role in improving performance. However, partial testing shows that AIS has a strong and significant effect on employee performance, demonstrating its essential role in enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making quality in government operations. Conversely, the Work Environment does not have a significant partial effect, suggesting that existing environmental conditions—although generally conducive—are not sufficiently influential to generate measurable performance changes. These findings highlight the strategic importance of strengthening information system quality and employee capability in system utilization, while improvements to the work environment may require broader structural adjustments to produce significant outcomes.
