Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of a differentiated learning model in Islamic Education for Grade VII A at SMP Nasional Makassar. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 32 students of Grade VII A. Data were collected through observation of teacher and student activities, learning achievement tests, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques to examine improvements in both the learning process and learning outcomes. The results indicate that the implementation of the differentiated learning model significantly improved students’ engagement and learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, only 31% of students achieved learning mastery, with an average score of 62.35. After the application of differentiated learning in Cycle I, learning mastery increased to 59% with an average score of 76.41. Furthermore, in Cycle II, which emphasized product differentiation, learning mastery showed a more substantial improvement, reaching 87.5% with an average score of 88.13. In addition, observation results revealed an increase in students’ learning readiness and participation, from 52% in Cycle I to 86% in Cycle II. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the differentiated learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education for Grade VII A at SMP Nasional Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecanduan game online terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa MTs Negeri 1 Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ex post facto dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket (kuesioner) dan dokumentasi. Variabel bebasnya adalah kecanduan game online dan variabel terikatnya yaitu konsentrasi belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 1 Makassar. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berjumlam 82 reponden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecanduan game online berpengaruh negatif secara signifikan terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa MTs Negeri 1 Makassar. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa 56,4% penurunan konsentrasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh kecanduan game. Instrumen penelitian terbukti akurat dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,735 untuk variabel kecanduan game online dan 0,826 untuk variabel konsentrasi belajar menunjukkan tingkat konsistensi yang sangat baik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perhatian dan peran aktif dari pihak sekolah, orang tua, serta siswa sendiri untuk mengendalikan dampak negatif kecanduan game online, guna menjaga konsentrasi belajar selama proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui Bagaimana mengembangkan model pembelajaran Antikorupsi Berbasis Media Kartu Untuk Menanamkan Nilai-Nilai Kejujuran Sejak Usia Dini Pada Siswa SMP; 2) mengetahui bagaimana desain model pembelajaran Antikorupsi Berbasis Media Kartu Untuk Menanamkan Nilai-Nilai Kejujuran Sejak Usia Dini Pada Siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan perangkat lunak yang berupa model pembelajaran yang menggunakan permainan kartu untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai pembelajaran korupsi ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan engineering dimana tahapannya adalah: analisis, desain, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari instrumen analisis kebutuhan, sedangkan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil lembar analisis kebutuhan, lembar ahli materi, dan ahli media. Pengembangan media kartu anti korupsi sebagai media pembelajaran melalui tiga tahapan antara lain : a) analysis dengan menganalisis kebutuhan, analisis karakteristik,analisis materi, serta analisis tujuan. b) design yaitu merancang konsep, merancang perangkat pengembangan, membuat rancangan produk, dan revisi dan validasi produk. c) development yaitu memproduksi produk sampai finishing. Desain model pembelajaran anti korupsi menggunakan kartu sebagai media pembelajaran ditambah dengan aplikasi berbasis mobile yang mendukung permainan kartu. Perangkat lunak dirancang dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah permainan. Mencari kunci jawaban dengan mudah tanpa harus menggunakan buku panduan dalam bentuk hardcopy. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian diperoleh rerata skor penilaian sangat valid baik oleh Ahli Media dan Ahli Materi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Make a Match learning model in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The research employed a quantitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 20 students of class VIII.3 at SMP Negeri 3 Duampanua. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results indicated that the implementation of the Make a Match model significantly improved student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the students’ average score was 70 (poor) with a mastery percentage of 35%. This increased to 77 (fair) with a 55% mastery percentage in the first cycle, and 85 (good) with an 80% mastery rate in the second cycle. This improvement demonstrates that the implementation of Make a Match learning model is effective in creating an active, enjoyable, and collaborative learning atmosphere, which positively impacts students' understanding of PAI material. Therefore, the Make a Match model is recommended as an alternative teaching strategy for PAI teachers to enhance student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of teacher discipline, the leadership strategies of the madrasah principal, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving teacher discipline at MTs Madinah Al-Munawwarah Tomoni, East Luwu Regency. This research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects consisted of the madrasah principal and teachers of MTs Madinah Al-Munawwarah, totaling eight informants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation. The results of the study indicate that teacher discipline at MTs Madinah Al-Munawwarah is generally in a fairly good category, as reflected in attendance, punctuality, teaching preparedness, and compliance with madrasah regulations, although a small number of teachers are still inconsistent. The leadership strategies implemented by the madrasah principal to improve teacher discipline include routine coaching, habituation of punctuality, exemplary leadership, persuasive communication, strengthening regulations and monitoring, and providing appreciation for disciplined teachers. Supporting factors in improving teacher discipline include teachers’ awareness of professional responsibility, the exemplary attitude of the madrasah principal, and the provision of honoraria or incentives. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include teachers having other jobs outside the madrasah, a lack of discipline awareness among some teachers, the absence of firm written regulations, and the non-optimal implementation of reward and punishment systems.

Abstract

This research aims to improve Islamic Education (PAI) learning outcomes for grade XI.9 students at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng through the implementation of the Active Knowledge Sharing method. The primary issue addressed is the low level of student engagement and learning achievement caused by conventional teaching methods. This study utilizes Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages. The subjects were students of class XI.9 at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. Data were collected through observation sheets of student activities and learning outcome tests. The results indicate that the application of the Active Knowledge Sharing method effectively enhances student participation and comprehension of PAI materials. This improvement is evidenced by the increase in average test scores and the percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria across cycles. In conclusion, the Active Knowledge Sharing method is an effective strategy for improving the quality of PAI learning at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. It is recommended that teachers adopt this method as an innovative, student-centered alternative to foster collaborative learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Picture and Picture learning model and increase student interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in class VIII.K SMP Negeri 1 Sape, Bima Regency. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, with 31 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Test instruments in the form of pre-tests and post-tests were used to measure learning outcomes, while observation sheets were used to determine student activity and involvement during learning. Data analysis was carried out by calculating percentages and average values ​​(means). The results of the study showed a significant increase in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, only 7 students completed the course with an average score of 63.22 (22.58%). In cycle I, the number of students who completed the course increased to 20 with an average score of 77.09 (64.51%). In cycle II, the improvement was more significant, with 28 students completing the task, an average score of 90.64, and a completion percentage of 90.32%. Observations also showed an increase in student activity and enthusiasm. Thus, the Picture and Picture model effectively increased student interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in Islamic Religious Education for class VIII.C at SMPN 1 Lambu, Bima Regency. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 23 students. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The findings indicated that the implementation of the TGT model significantly improved students’ learning activities and outcomes. In Cycle I, learning mastery had not yet reached the predetermined success indicators; therefore, improvements were made in Cycle II. In Cycle II, learning mastery increased to 86.96% with an average score of 87.08, categorized as very high. Students’ participation, discipline, enthusiasm, and understanding of the material also showed significant improvement. In conclusion, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the joyful learning method in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in class VIII.F at UPT SMP Negeri 37 Makassar. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 34 students. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results showed that in the pre-action stage, only 12 students (35%) achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) with an average score of 76. After implementing joyful learning in cycle I, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 20 students (58%) with an average score of 82. In cycle II, a more significant improvement occurred, with 30 students (88%) achieving mastery and the class average score increasing to 88. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the implementation of joyful learning created a more active, interactive, and enjoyable classroom atmosphere, enhancing students’ motivation and confidence. Therefore, the joyful learning method proved to be effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.
