Abstract

Pentingnya pembelajaran informatika dalam memberikan pengalaman belajar yang adaptif dan relevan bagi siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan desain etnografi untuk menginvestigasi implementasi pembelajaran informatika dalam kurikulum merdeka di Sekolah Paket Nonformal (SPNF) SKB Kota Pontianak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran adaptif dan berorientasi pada siswa berhasil menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa mengembangkan keterampilan komputasi dan pemecahan masalah. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran yang membimbing siswa dalam menerapkan konsep-konsep informatika dalam praktis. Meskipun demikian, tantangan terkait ketersediaan sumber daya, terutama akses terhadap perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, tetap menjadi kendala yang perlu diatasi. Upaya terus dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal dan berkolaborasi dengan pihak terkait. Penelitian memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami tantangan dan peluang dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran informatika di SPNF SKB Kota Pontianak, serta memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang upaya-upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut.

Abstract

Siswa akan lebih menginterpretasikan konsep materi, mengembangkan kemampuan dan belajar secara kontekstual melalui belajar di alam terbuka. Penelitian ini a menggali akibat  pendekatan P5 dan implementasi proyek kolaboratif studi alam di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendekatan ini telah membantu siswa menggali potensi mereka, memahami nilai-nilai Pancasila sebagai landasan pendidikan serta mempersiapkan siswa untuk peran sosial dan profesi yang lebih baik di masa depan. Subjek penelitian observasi langsung dan penyebaran kuesioner yang diberikan  pada siswa XII IPA. Metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner. Keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh pada Studi Alam menjadi pondasi yang penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan kesiapan siswa menghadapi kehidupan sehari-hari. Ini juga menunjukkan keseriusan dalam mengintegrasikan pemahaman tentang alam dengan enam dimensi pembentuk profil pelajar Pancasila, menegaskan pentingnya pendidikan yang holistik yang bukan saja berpusat  pengetahuan akademis, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter dan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diperlukan untuk masa depan yang lebih berkelanjutan. Kegiatan studi alam dinilai dapat membangun dimensi bernalar kritis sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan sejalan dengan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Penerimaan positif ini menunjukkan bahwa proyek kolaboratif Studi Alam telah berhasil dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan serta membangun dimensi bernalar kritis pada siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak.

Abstract

This case study aimed to find out the implementation of a genre pedagogy under systemic functional linguistics (SFL) framework or under Sydney School to teach the English language to young English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners of English Village of Parit Baru, Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan. Fifty-two young EFL learners were involved in this study. The data collection used two instruments, namely participant observations and documentation. The data analysis reveals that genre pedagogy elements could help the young EFL learners in constructing and communicating their texts independently. Also, the learners’ texts are following the schematic structures and linguistic features of the spoken genres the learners learned. To help the learners to cope with the teaching activities, songs and games activities were used to build their interest in the English language, new vocabulary, and practices to communicate their texts. This means that a genre pedagogy under the SFL framework could be integrated with joyful activities that not only provide guidance but also promote enjoyable learning in building the English language capacities of the young EFL learners in a non-formal educational context.

Abstract

The purpose of the descriptive study is to explore the English as a foreign language second-semester students’ writing anxiety. The students were from a private university in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. A total of 92 students who were selected randomly filled the writing anxiety questionnaire. The writing anxiety questionnaire reports that 53.26 % (n= 49) of the students experienced low writing anxiety and 46.74% (n= 43) of the students experienced high writing anxiety. In terms of the components of writing anxiety, the students experienced anxiety in the component of evaluation (mean score of 19.86), product (mean score of 19.25), and stress (mean score of 16.52). This study also has shown that writing anxiety caused by stress can be considered less frequent anxiety component that has been experienced by the students. It is suggested that students should learn to manage their problems that are related to writing. To do so, the lecturer should guide the students to help them to reduce their writing anxiety and help improve the students’ writing skills.

Abstract

Listening comprehension is one of the most challenging skills for students learning Arabic. This research aimed to develop and evaluate an interactive multimedia learning product based on the Lectora Inspire application to enhance Arabic listening skills among high school students. Employing a research and development (R&D) design, the study followed a modified Borg & Gall model integrated with the ADDIE framework. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and pre- and post-tests, and analyzed using the Rasch model, N-Gain score, and Mann–Whitney U test. Validation results indicated very good feasibility across content, design, and interactivity aspects. In the experimental class (n = 32), the mean N-Gain score was 0.6272 (62.72%), categorized as medium-to-high according to Hake’s criteria, indicating substantial improvement in listening skills. Rasch analysis revealed significant increases in logit ability from pretest to posttest, with stable fit indices. The Mann–Whitney U test confirmed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). The findings of this study indicated that interactive multimedia developed with the Lectora Inspire application effectively enhances Arabic listening skills among high school students. The integration of text, audio, video, animation, and interactive quizzes created an engaging and multisensory learning experience that improved comprehension and motivation. These results implied that teachers can utilize Lectora Inspire–based multimedia as an innovative, student-centered tool to strengthen listening instruction, while the validated development model may serve as a reference for future multimedia-based Arabic learning materials.

Abstract

The imbalance of the number of public and private school teachers affects the performance of the teachers themselves. This needs to be a concern for teachers and stakeholders. Therefore, community service activities in the form of data-based education on education issues through Session 3 of the National Seminar on the Anniversary of the Indonesian Teachers Association and the 77th National Teachers' Day were held online via Zoom Application on November 10, 2022. The three stages of data-based education that were carried out were (1) preparation of titles and materials in the form of data on the number of teachers and teacher ratios, (2) presentation and interpretation of these data were carried out in front of teachers and stakeholders, and (3) presentation of recommendations based on education to stakeholders and teachers. These three stages were carried out and could show that data-based education has been done properly.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that there are still some students who play around when the teacher explains the material, and the teacher explains without the help of various media and learning models in science subjects so that students feel bored and not enthusiastic about science lessons. The purpose of this study is to: 1) Science learning outcomes before using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) model and explicit instruction assisted by snake and ladder media for students, 2) Science learning outcomes after using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) model and explicit instruction assisted by snake and ladder media for students 3) Significant influence on the use of science learning outcomes before using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) model and explicit instruction assisted by snake and ladder media for students on learning outcomes IPA. To achieve this goal, the researcher uses the Literature Review research method taken from various journals from Google Scholar. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) The learning outcomes of science before using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) model and explicit instruction assisted by snake and ladder media for grade II students are not good, 2) The learning outcomes of multiplication material after using the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) model and explicit instruction assisted by snake and ladder media for grade II students are very good and 3) There is a significant influence on the use of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) model and Explicit Instruction Assisted by Snake and Ladder Media on Science Learning Outcomes of Class II

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning in the classroom carried out by driving teachers in Sambas District. The implementation of differentiated learning studied from driving teachers includes the ability to compile teaching modules and carry out differentiated learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the subject of the study being a driving teacher who teaches in four elementary schools in Sambas District. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Hubermen models. Triangulation is carried out by member check and technical triangulation. The results of the study showed that the driving teachers had prepared very well differentiated learning teaching modules, according to the learning plan components obtained a score of 97.57%. Carrying out the learning process was carried out very well, starting from the opening activities, core activities, and closing activities with a score of 94.92%. This study concludes that the pedagogic competence of driving teachers in Sambas District is very good in implementing differentiated learning according to the demands of the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

The limited Arabic vocabulary mastery and low speaking ability of students indicate the need for instructional media that can enhance engagement and facilitate more effective language learning. This study aims to analyze the comparative effectiveness of Wordwall-based Anagram and Find-the-Match media on students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery and speaking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research employed a quantitative approach with a comparative design involving fifth-grade students at As-Salam Elementary School in Pontianak. Data were collected through vocabulary and speaking skill assessments administered after the implementation of both media. The obtained data were analyzed to identify differences in learning outcomes between the two instructional treatments. The research instruments included Arabic speaking skills tests that assessed fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and courage. The results showed that the experimental class experienced a higher average increase than the control class in all aspects of speaking skills. The average posttest scores of the experimental class for the aspects of fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and courage reached 82.2, 82.4, 85.1, and 86.4, respectively, while the control class only reached 71.8, 70.3, 67.5, and 74. This proves that the Wordwall anagram media is effective in improving students' vocabulary mastery and Arabic speaking skills.  The implication of this study is that Arabic teachers are advised to utilize interactive digital media such as Wordwall as an innovative alternative in learning, as it has been proven to significantly improve students' motivation, vocabulary mastery, and speaking skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the principal’s academic supervision in improving the quality of teachers’ instruction at SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings revealed that academic supervision was implemented systematically through three main stages: needs-based planning, collaborative implementation using multiple methods, and continuous evaluation and follow-up. This implementation had a significant impact on improving teachers’ pedagogical and professional competencies, as well as transforming teachers’ perceptions of supervision from mere monitoring into professional guidance. It can be concluded that structured, collaborative, and continuous academic supervision is effective in enhancing the quality of teaching. Key success factors include strong leadership commitment, active teacher involvement, a humanistic approach, proper documentation, and adequate resource support.
