Abstract

Investing in economic development is an important aspect because investment is one of the driving forces in the process of strengthening a country's economy. Several countries have made efforts to increase investment within the framework of their economic policies, as one way to encourage the process of strengthening the economy (Jati, 2012). Over the last decade, investment has not only become an important need for a country to advance its economic development but is also the most important means of developing industry. The research method used in this journal is qualitative. This research uses a qualitative approach to understand the factors influencing traditional markets and their impact on society and the economy. In this research, the author uses descriptive analysis to explain the conditions of traditional markets and the impact of changes in consumer preferences and the shift in people's shopping places to modern shopping centers. Indonesia has decided to become a member of both regional and world trade, such as: GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade), AFTA (Asean Free Trade Area), APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) and WTO (Word Trade Organization). Indonesia has become a member of regional and world trade, so at the same time, Indonesia has become part of the global community and trade liberalization. Basically, liberalization creates an era of global trade that is free of borders, protection and barriers. This also increases trade competition between economic actors. The challenges of traditional markets in facing the impact of globalization and trade liberalization are characterized by the flow of investment into Indonesia from one most profitable region to another in all investment sectors. This phenomenon makes capital investment or investment a demand to meet the needs of a country, company and society, for example by investing in the modern retail industry (modern markets), such as: supermarkets, hypermarkets, minimarkets.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of slowing population growth due to decreased birth rates caused by several factors, especially the risks caused by the distance that must be traveled between homes and hospitals, besides that there are various diseases that cause the fetus to not be delivered successfully. Thus, a tool is needed to facilitate and reduce the risks that have been mentioned. This design was made based on the plan in the process and workings of this IoT-based fetal doppler device and in knowing the normal or abnormal fetal heart rate. In this study the development method was used, which in this method is more focused, in developing goals, expanding, and digging deeper until the desired goals are obtained. The first step is to collect data, search and study data and theories related to the IoT-based fetal Doppler device design system. 2.5 MHz frequency transducer that sends and receives reflections generated from objects. This reflection turns into an electric current which is amplified and filtered by the transducer. Furthermore, the electricity is amplified by the amplifier until DJJ's voice is heard from the speakers. The transducer circuit processes the signal received at the amplifier until the data obtained is sent and processed by NodeMCU. After processing, NodeMCU gets fetal heart rate data on Display and Thingspeak. The results of this study were obtained from survey results, users with questionnaire respondents as many as 40 samples were calculated using a Likert scale. Users agree that the tool is able to provide ease of use with a score of simplicity of 4.94%, interactivity of 4.30% and usability of 3.39% on a scale of 5. And the design of the tool can reduce the risk of possible acquisition, as well as make it easier for some parties.

Abstract

In the coastal areas of West Kalimantan, several new sacred tombs have recently become the subject of community discussions, first emerging around 2020. This study seeks to uncover the existence of these tombs and reveal the underlying facts so that the true events can be accurately explained. To achieve this, the study employed qualitative methods and a phenomenological perspective to address the research focus. Data were collected through observations at the research sites and interviews with relevant stakeholders. All data were validated using member-checking techniques to ensure accuracy and credibility. Subsequently, the data were analyzed in detail, developing concepts that explain the actual events. The study’s findings indicate that business activities drive the emergence of these new sacred tombs. Among the tombs identified are the tomb of Hasan in Pontianak, Muhammad in Kubu Raya, Usman in Mempawah, and the Nine Sacred Tombs in Ketapang. These tombs have been established based on the claims of individuals who assert their origin from dreams and/or supernatural events rather than from historical evidence. The analysis suggests that the context of Regional Autonomy plays a significant role, as it reflects a policy trend of developing sacred tombs for pilgrimage into religious tourism aimed at boosting the regional economy. This policy has seemingly inspired the creation of fake sacred tombs, which copy well-known tombs that are centers of religious tourism. The business activities surrounding these fraudulent tombs include selecting tomb sites, socialization, promotion, site management, and the economic benefits of pilgrim donations. The phenomenon of new sacred tombs is not unique to West Kalimantan but is also observed in other regions of Indonesia. Given the scope of this trend, further research is needed to provide a comprehensive explanation of the emergence of these new sacred tombs to enlighten the community.
