Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Quizizz as a digital learning evaluation media at SD Pekayon 09. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study explores teachers' experiences in designing and implementing Quizizz in the evaluation process. The research subjects were selected through purposive sampling techniques, namely one class teacher who actively uses Quizizz in learning evaluation activities. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations of learning videos, both online and offline. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic analysis approach according to Braun and Clarke (2006), which consists of six systematic stages in identifying key themes from qualitative data. The results of the study showed that Quizizz was able to increase student engagement through gamification features, accelerate the assessment process, and provide instant feedback that helps students' understanding. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and student adaptation to digital devices are still obstacles. Thus, Quizizz has the potential to be an innovative solution in increasing the effectiveness of learning evaluation at the Elementary School level, with adequate training and infrastructure support.

Abstract

This research has been hampered by a lack of problem-solving skills in elementary school students, a shortage of learning enthusiasm and less experience with digital learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the use of wordwal educational games against student problem-solving skills. Methods used analysis with design qualitative research descriptive. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews, and observations. The subject of this research is 20 students of 4th grade SDN Sukarasa. Research results show that (1) using wordwall educational games on learning can develop problem-solving skills, and (2) using Wordwall education games can train entire indicators of student problem solving skills. Proved by the average score obtained by Oleg students among them the highest score with an average score of 2.6 - 3 total of 9 students, average score 2 - 2.5 total 9 students and average score 0 - 1.9 total of 2 students.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to provide specifics regarding the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in upper-level Social Sciences courses, particularly when it comes to content related to diversity in Indonesia. A qualitative research method through literature review is the research strategy that is being applied. This study focuses only on giving a broad picture of how the Problem Based Learning paradigm is being used in Indonesian elementary schools to teach students about diversity. The results of this study show that a large body of prior research has demonstrated the efficacy of the Problem Based Learning paradigm in the context of social studies instruction at the elementary school level, particularly when it comes to teaching materials on diversity in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article is constructed around the discoveries made during the research, where it was found that the character of love for one's country is not yet fully implied in the souls of students. There are still many students who lack discipline in doing and submitting assignments, not only that, there are also many students who speak inappropriately and are impolite to their classmates and those above them, and never care about friends who are experiencing difficulties. The role of learning media is very crucial in helping students understand learning material. To develop learning materials, of course learning media is needed as a supporting tool when learning takes place, with learning media being able to develop material on cultural diversity to increase love for the country, especially focused on class students.

Abstract

Modernization isa process of changing societies and cultures with all its aspects from traditional to modern. Modernization, while having a positive effect, can also have a negative impact that one of them is having on the behavior of elementary school students. These effects can happen if we cannot strain that modernization. Therefore as teachers we should be able to minimize the emergence of harmful negative effects on the creation of student character. The results of this study suggest that modernization has hada significant impact on the behavior of elementary school students. This is demonstrated by such oft viewed negative behaviors as brawling, social strife, social promiscuity, misuse of the Internet and cell phones that cause students to become irritable and socially impaired. The research method used was the literacy study of several accredited journals according to the research discussion. This study is intended to enable readers to know the impact that modernization of students' behavior in elementary schools and teachers can minimize the negative effects that will happen in students.

Abstract

The results of field studies that have been carried out at one of the state elementary schools in the Rancaekek area, Bandung, show that the use of learning media is very minimal due to the limited ability of teachers to create and utilize existing technology, especially digital technology for creative and innovative learning media, so students tend to be given assignments through theme book during social studies learning. Therefore, this study aims to create interesting multimedia learning as one of the uses of digital technology for elementary students in the form of web-based learning multimedia concepts of social studies learning economic activities. Besides aiming to create or design, it also aims to test and get responses from users of the designed multimedia. The research design used the Design and Development (D&D) research method or design and development. This web-based learning multimedia development procedure uses the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implement, and evaluate). The result of this development is to produce a product in the form of web-based multimedia learning the concept of economic activity for class V social studies learning. In addition to producing products, the results of the feasibility test of experts, namely media experts received 92.90% interpretation, and 96.40% from material experts. In addition, the user's assessment response got positive results with the percentage of 98.40% from teachers, and 89.20% from students. So that it can be categorized into a "Very Good" value interval. Web-based learning multimedia products that are recommended for use by parents in social studies learning.

Abstract

Learning media is one of components in learning planning. Learning media is a learning process tool to deliver learning materials. Teacher can use concrete learning media directly, replica, or video, audio and image as an effort to deliver teaching materials more online/distance learning either synchronously/asynchronously, and of course learning media is becoming a very important component in delivering material. However, the use of learning media in fifth grade elementary school is still less varied in several subjects, one of which is social studies. The purpose of this research is to produce Prezi-based interactive learning media on social science learning map component material for fifth grade of elementary school. This research is a design and development research using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The research instrument used is a questionnaire instrument. The validator questionnaire was used the assessment learning media by media experts and material experts. The response questionnaire was used to determine the user’s response i.e., 2 fifth grade elementary school teachers and 20 fifth grade elementary school students on Prezi-based interactive learning media on map component material for the fifth grade elementary school. The accumulated rating percentage of the validator is 89% and the accumulation of users is 87%. Thus, this learning media is very suitable to ne used in the map component of social studies learning material for the fifth grade of elementary school and can add variety use of learning media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan penggunaan model pembelajaran yang masih konvensionan pada pelajaran IPS . Hal ini dikarenakan masih banyak ditemui pembelajaran yan masih berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa kurang dilatih untuk berani berpendapat, bertanya dan juga mengambil keputusan. Dengan demikian penulis ingin berupaya meingkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa dengan melakukan penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe decision making berbantu media vidio pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis kuasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adah siswa kelas V SDN 243 Cicabe dengan kelas VB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VD sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing masing kelas berjmlah 25 siswa. Pada kelas eksperimen pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran decision making berbantu media vidio dan pada kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu soal tes pilihan ganda dan angket berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran decision making berbantu media vidio terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Melalui hasil uji perbedaan rerata pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen dengan taraf signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.000 atau 0.000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe decision making terhadap berpikir kritis siswa dan signifikansi (2-tailed) 0.000 atau 0.023 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe decision making terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS.
