Abstract

This research is a research and development e-module project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students with the theme of a sustainable lifestyle. This research was carried out from March to July 2024 at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City, with research subjects namely 31 class XA students. This research aims to determine the level of feasibility of e-modules and student responses to e-modules. This development uses a 4-D development model (define, design, development, and disseminate) which is limited to the development stage. The instruments in this research were interview sheets, student needs questionnaires, validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. From the research results it is known that (1) the feasibility level of the e-module has a very feasible category with a score of 93.8%, (2) the results of the student response test to the e-module received a score of 88.1% with a very good category. The e-module developed is equipped with explanations, images and videos which can be accessed using a smartphone connected to the internet network. Abstract

Noise is the unwanted sound of a business or activity at a certain level and time that can cause disturbances to human health and environmental comfort. One of the transportation activities that can cause high noise is train. The effort to reduce the noise caused by the train is to build a noise-absorbing building in the form of sonic crystals. This research aims to analyze the potential application of bamboo with a square sonic crystal model as a noise reducer for railway activities. This research method is an experimental method using the method of Ministry of Environment No. 48 of 1996. The noise absorber is made of bamboo-based material arranged with a three-layer square lattice type, a diameter of 8.7 cm ± 0.2 cm, and a height of 2 meters. From the results of this study, it was found that the day and night equivalent noise level (LSM) using the barrier was 90.70 dB, 91.20 dB, 92.09 dB at a distance of 1, 2, and 3 meters. The potential of square lattice bamboo-based sonic crystals as a building damper can reduce the noise level by 8.87 dB (8.91%). Bamboo with this square lattice can be an alternative noise dampening building in the residential area around the railroad.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah banyaknya limbah kulit kopi melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Tapak Gedung terutama kelompok tani dalam meningkatkan produktivitas melalui inovasi pengolahan limbah kulit kopi menjadi produk berupa “eco enzyme multipurpose” sebagai pembuatan pupuk organik cair dan pembuatan sabun yang ramah lingkungan dan mudah dibuat masyarakat. Memberikan pemahaman secara utuh tentang pengolahan 5R pada limbah organik rumah tangga. Memahami cara pengolahan dan pemanfaatan limbah organik kulit kopi menjadi eco enzyme multipurpose yaitu pupuk organik dan sabun cair. Metode kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan secara luring atau kegiatan secara langsung ke lapangan melalui 5 tahap yaitu tahap sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada kelompok tani mengenai eco enzyme. Tahap persiapan yaitu tim pelaksana dan kelompok tani menyiapkan alat yang akan digunakan serta mengumpulkan bahan utama dan bahan pendukung pembuatan pupuk organik cair dan sabun. Tahap Pelatihan dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada kelompok tani tentang cara pembuatan pupuk organik cair dan sabun cair dari limbah kulit kopi holtikultura. Tahap Pembuatan dan monitoring evaluasi kegiatan. Peserta pengabdian yang terdiri dari 40 orang sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan eco enzyme. Eco enzyme yang dibuat dipanen dalam jangka waktu 3 bulan. Hasil eco enzyme merupakan salah satu bahan dasar pembuatan pupuk dan sabun cair. Berdasarkan angket yang disebarkan sebanyak 80% peserta sudah paham terhadap materi pelatihan yang diberikan. Sebanyak 100% peserta yakin dapat membuat eco enzyme dan pupuk cair, akan tetapi baru 60% yang yakin bisa membuat sabun seacara mandiri. Sebanyak 85% peserta mau menginformasikan ilmu yang didapat kepada orang lain/masyarakat.

Abstract

Transportation modes, whether land, sea, or air, can cause significant vibration impacts that can disturb the surrounding environment. The vibrations caused by the three modes of transportation are ground vibrations that impact people in the environment around the transportation mode. Vibration impacts from these modes of transportation must be controlled through strict regulations for human comfort and health and to maintain the integrity of building structures around the operating area. Indonesia has regulations regarding vibration quality standards regulated in KepMenLH No. 49 of 1996 concerning vibration levels due to facilities and infrastructure for human activities. Various countries also have updated regulations for transportation vibration levels such as Japan, Germany, Australia, and others. The latest transportation vibration quality standard regulations are more comprehensive, making it possible to control vibration impacts more effectively. This research aims to review the regulation of vibration quality standards in Indonesia due to transportation activities with global regulations at both national and international levels. Through comparative descriptive analysis, this research will identify shortcomings in Indonesian regulations and provide recommendations for improvement. The result of this research is that Indonesia's regulations require updating to ensure that the standards used remain relevant and effective in facing future vibration challenges. However, as the majority of countries in the world still use the vibration parameters used in KepMenLH No. 49, these parameters are still sufficient.

Abstract

In Indonesia, construction accidents have occurred during the construction of bridges and elevated roads, peaking in 2017. The lifting of girder beams has failed in several construction projects, and the formwork has failed during pier construction. The reasons for these work accidents are human and equipment factors, which caused material losses and loss of life. A risk assessment model for bridge construction work accidents in construction projects is proposed in this paper, with the work breakdown structure (WBS), risk breakdown structure (RBS), analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and rating being integrated to assess the risk of bridge construction work accidents. This model is expected to improve safety in bridge construction by providing effective safety planning, especially in the accident risk assessment process. The study results indicate that the WBS and RBS can outline and explain the identification of construction safety risks for bridges and provide insight into the interrelationship of construction phases and the potential risks. The relationship between the WBS and RBS is created in the form of a coupling matrix, and we identify the potential risky activities at each phase and the corresponding construction phases. The AHP can be used to calculate the weights and priorities of the WBS and analyze the magnitude of the risk index for its related risky activities; then, the rating method can be used to analyze the risk index. Abstract

To develop effective techniques for selecting subcontractors, this research set out to determine which factors should take precedence and which alternatives may be useful in terms of BCR, benefits, costs, and risks. Based on the results Project managers, control managers, procurement bureau managers, production managers, finance bureau managers, and employees/staff directly related to procurement activities (i.e., procurement staff) were randomly selected to participate in in-depth interviews and questionnaires to gather data for the study of subcontractor selection criteria in construction services. Analytical Network Process (ANP) using BCR network structure methodology is used to analyze the data in this study. Benefit, Cost, and Risk (BCR) study of the subcontractor selection process yielded the following results: control criteria. As a result, the decision-making process for choosing subcontractors shifts its focus to other technical competency factors, which might provide advantages.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen waktu dalam organisasi siswa intra sekolah (OSIS) di SMP Negeri 7 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah satu pembina OSIS, ketua OSIS , bendahara OSIS, sekretaris OSIS dan lima anggota OSIS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian manajemen (1) kemampuan membagi waktu tercermin dari kemampuan pengurus OSIS melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan OSIS tanpa mengganggu proses belajar di sekolah; (2) membuat jadwal atau rencana kegiatan tercermin dari jadwal rencana kegiatan yang dibuat oleh OSIS selama masa jabatannya yang belum bisa dibuktikan karena belum ada data yang diperoleh dan dipaparkan; (3) pendelegasian tugas tercermin dari adanya penyerahan tanggungjawab yang tidak terlalu sering terjadi dan; (4) menggunakan waktu secara efektif tercermin dari kemampuan pengurus OSIS menggunakan waktu secara tepat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kegiatan  sehingga tidak ada waktu yang terbuang sia-sia.

Abstract

This study explores the Marakka' Bola tradition as an educational medium to instil character values in the youth of South Sulawesi. Employing a qualitative research approach, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The Marakka' Bola tradition, widely practised in Palakka Village, Barru District, embodies the values of unity, cooperation, and integrity. The findings reveal that the Marakka' Bola tradition is a significant cultural heritage of the Bugis community, recognised as an intangible cultural asset of Indonesia. It is a practical application of Pancasila values, particularly gotong royong (cooperation). However, the research identifies challenges, such as waning youth participation in traditional practices due to modernisation and a lack of cultural and educational significance awareness. By engaging in Marakka' Bola, participants experience a sense of togetherness and solidarity, essential for cultivating a strong societal character. This study underscores the importance of preserving ancestral traditions like Marakka' Bola, not only as a cultural identity but also as a dynamic tool for character education. The research advocates for integrating traditional practices into broader educational frameworks to address contemporary challenges in youth character development and enhance community cohesion.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze marketing strategies to increase sales volume for MSMEs of Mpok Nini coconut roots, typical Betawi souvenirs located at the Damri Bus Terminal, Bekasi. This research is a qualitative type with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use interview, observation and documentation methods. The determination of informants was based on the owners and employees of the MSMEs of MPok Nini coconut roots as typical Betawi souvenirs, the buyers of the MSMEs of MSMEs with Mpok Nini coconut roots as typical Betawi souvenirs, and the determination of academic lecturer informants was selected based on the Business Administration course at the STIAMI Institute of Social Sciences and Management. The informants selected were 2 people from the UMKM mpok nini coconut roots for typical Betawi souvenirs, 2 buyers from UMKM mpok nini coconut roots for typical Betawi souvenirs, and 1 informant, an academic lecturer. Interview questions are based on the marketing mix of the 4P marketing strategy, namely Product, Price, Place, Promotion. Based on these dimensions, there are each indicator to be used as questions in interviews. The 4P marketing strategy has been implemented by MPOK Nini coconut root MSMEs, typical Betawi souvenirs, products that maintain excellence, prices at affordable selling prices, places available in marketplaces and offline stores, as well as promotions carried out through marketplace advertising. The obstacle in implementing a marketing strategy is the emergence of competitors selling the same product and similar packaging.
