Abstract

Penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dasar manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan dan implikasinya terhadap meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan mutu lembaga pendidikan merupakan harapan dan keinginan masyarakat pengguna jasa pendidikan. Oleh karena itu untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, berbagai upaya strategis telah dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan masyarakat selaku pengelola dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan. Misalnya, yang dilakukan pemerintah adalah merancang standar nasional pendidikan. Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 terdapat 8 standar nasional yang bertujuan agar meningkatkan mutu dari suatu lembaga pendidikan. Berdasarkan peraturan pemerintah, salah satu dari delapan standar nasional pendidikan adalah standar pembiayaan. Pembiayaan pendidikan merupakan hal penting dan tidak terpisahkan dalam kegiatan pengelolaan pendidikan. Jadi, antara lain, kebijakan pemerintah adalah dengan mendistribusikan dana BOS di tingkat sekolah. Pembiayaan pendidikan dan pendanaan yang dikelola sekolah / madrasah harus transparan agar terciptanya akuntabilitas. Jika dapat dipertanggung jawabkan maka kredibilitas lembaga pendidikan tersebut juga akan meningkat. Jika kredibel maka dengan sendirinya akan meningkatkan kualitas institusi pendidikan.

Abstract

In leading schools, principals often face ambiguity, changes in regulations, and challenges in learning. In dealing with these matters, the principal is required to always act professionally, so strengthening the principal's professionalism becomes important. There are many standards for the professionalism of school principals, including integrity, communication skills, and teamwork. The purpose of this study is to determine how integrity, communication skills, and teamwork affect the professionalism of Banten Province, Indonesia's school principals. This research is a quantitative study, with a sample of 122 school principals involved in Banten Province. The data were examined using multiple regression analysis, t-test, and F-test as hypothesis testing. The research results obtained are: i) Integrity has a positive and significant impact on strengthening the professionalism of school principals; ii) Communication skill has a positive and significant impact on strengthening the professionalism of school principals; iii) Teamwork has a positive and significant impact on strengthening the professionalism of school principals; iv) Integrity, communication skills, and teamwork simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on strengthening the professionalism of school principals by 62.1%. Based on these results, it is hoped that schools, supervisors, and the education office, especially Banten province, will pay attention and routinely carry out programs to strengthen the professionalism of school principals which include discussions on integrity, communication skills, and teamwork.

Abstract

This article presents the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) in leadership within the Christian Theological College in Salatiga. Christian Theological Colleges have a unique responsibility in developing not only academic aspects, but also student spirituality. The integration of TQM in leadership in this environment leads to holistic efforts to improve the quality of education. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods accompanied by descriptive analysis to obtain an integrative concept of leadership and TQM within the scope of the Christian Theological College in Salatiga. The research results showed that to integrate TQM and Leadership, a change in the quality paradigm of the leadership team is needed, an obsession with quality and building clear and open communication in order to produce a solid team. The integration of TQM in the leadership of Christian theological colleges will provide a solid foundation for achieving higher quality education while integrating spiritual and moral values in the educational processTulisan ini menyajikan perihal integrasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam kepemimpinan di lingkup Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen di Salatiga. Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen memiliki tanggung jawab yang unik dalam mengembangkan tidak hanya aspek akademis, tetapi juga spiritualitas mahasiswa. Integrasi TQM dalam kepemimpinan di lingkungan ini mengarah pada upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang holistik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif disertai dengan analisis deskriptif untuk mendapatkan konsep integratif kepemimpinan dan TQM dalam lingkup Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen di Salatiga. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa untuk mengintegrasikan TQM dan Kepemimpinan diperlukan perubahan paradigma mutu dari tim pemimpin, obsesi pada mutu dan membangun komunikasi yang jelas serta terbuka dalam rangka menghasilkan tim yang solid. Integrasi TQM dalam kepemimpinan perguruan tinggi teologi Kristen akan memberikan landasan yang kokoh untuk mencapai kualitas pendidikan yang lebih tinggi sekaligus mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral dalam proses pendidikan.

Abstract

This study analyzed the impact give by extrinsic motivation and self-efficacy on academic stress on students at Jakarta State University. A quantitative methodology is the technique used in this study with the main model of multiple linear regression. Participants in this study were 159 students from various study programs at the Jakarta State University. The sampling technique was a simple random sampling technique. The data was collected by using a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale and applied using the google form application. Statistical calculations were carried out using SPSS 25, and the hypothesis test used the t-test and f-test. It was revealed that 1) Extrinsic motivation has a negative and significant effect on student academic stress, 2) Self-efficacy has a negative and significant effect on student academic stress and, 3) Extrinsic motivation and self-efficacy affect student academic stress by 88.6%.

Abstract

School financial managemet is carried out by the school principal, consists of financial planning, financial allocation and financial reporting activities. School financial management will work well if it can apply the principles of financial management, namely transparency, accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency. The aim of this study is to find out the implementation of the principles of financial management in private elementary school. This study used a qualitative methos with a descriptive approach to explore social conditions that occus as a whole. Participant in this study were one school principal at private elementary school in South Jakarta. The result of this study are, financial management in elementary school is running well, the school principal applies the principles of transparency and accountability in financial planning and reporting, as well as school activities running effectively and efficiently in accordance with the budget plan. Another factor that has a positive impact on the effectiveness of school financial management is the amount of experience the school principle has.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang bermutu dibutuhkan agar suatu masyarakat dapat mencapai kesejahteraan. Perbaikan kurikulum telah dilakukan dari masa ke masa. Namun keragaman di Indonesia, ditambah dengan desentralisasi pendidikan membutuhkan alat yang dapat menjamin pendidikan yang bermutu, dan ada keseragaman mutu. Untuk memahami alat penjamin mutu pendidikan, sebuah penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dan kemudian hasil dideskripsikan. Alat penjamin mutu yang dimaksud adalah akreditasi dan pengelolaan manajemen pendidikan. Akreditasi sudah diatur oleh pemerintah, sehingga organisasi hanya perlu memenuhi persyaratan yang ditentukan. Model pengelolaan yang dilirik penerapannya oleh para manajer pendidikan adalah Total Quality Management (TQM), yang telah sukses di bidang industri niaga. Sebagai rangkaian kegiatan, manajemen mutu juga memiliki efek terjadinya biaya. Biaya mutu adalah gabungan antara biaya manajemen mutu dan biaya kegagalan. Keberhasilan TQM dalam penerapannya menghadapi beberapa kendala, yaitu kendala pekerja dan budaya, kendala infrastruktur, kendala manajerial, dan kendala organisasional. Kajian sementara menunjukkan keberhasilan penerapan TQM di organisasi pendidikan, serupa dengan kesuksesan di industri bisnis.

Abstract

Alirena Foundation designed the Papuan Cultural Assessment and Modernization (PBPM) program at Sekolah Anak Indonesia (SAI) Sentul Bogor to improve the quality of graduates. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the PBPM program regarding the effectiveness of the PBPM Program Implementation using a qualitative descriptive evaluation model with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation research. The Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation model is used to describe and explain program evaluation, review results, and make recommendations. The results showed that PBPM is a contextual, culture-based, and modernization education model. This program has a positive impact on the quality of SAI graduates. Students acquire natural science, technology, entrepreneurship and skills with the help of skilled methods of math, language and computer (MBK). PBPM is able to complete Papua with brilliant achievements. In conclusion, PBPM is an effective program to improve the quality of SAI graduates. So, if this PBPM Program is implemented in several schools in Papua, it will have a huge impact on the quality of education in the interior of Papua because this program has been tested for 5 years at Sekolah Anak Indonesia (SAI) under the auspices of the Alirena foundation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the results of the Evaluation of Leadership Training of Administrators in the Implementation of Competence Development Programmes at the ASN Competency Development Centre of the State Competition Agency using the CIPP evaluation model. (Context, Input, Process, Product). The evaluation results consist of 4 CIPP components, showing that: 1) On the Context component, Peg ASN BKN has a basis in the maintenance of the PKA program, the purpose of the maintenance is in accordance with the maintenance guidelines, as well as the analysis of the needs of the program in conformity with the Maintenance Guidelines; 2) On the Input component Peg Asn BKN have a good SDM, according to the LAN standard, have the budgeting documentation and curriculum that conforms to the maintenance directives, and complete prasarana means; 3) On the Process component from the planning process until the evaluation process is carried out with policy measures; 4) On the Product component in view of the assessment results, the goal of PKA programme maintenance has been achieved. Other findings were obtained, namely: 1) There are more tasks where to get caught into the organizing committee and widyaiswara; 2) Additional learning studio facilities; 3) Socialization through social media and online registration. As for the recommendation to the organizer, in forming a team in a training maintenance to give his task is not excessive or two responsibilities, thus will improve efficiency and efficiency in a job.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of a digital mindset on the innovative behavior of chemistry teachers. A digital mindset, which reflects teachers' readiness and ability to utilize digital technology, is a key factor in driving innovation in education. Innovation among chemistry teachers includes creativity in teaching methods, the use of technology in the classroom, and the application of teaching approaches relevant to 21st-century needs. The technique used is a quantitative survey. The sample of this study consists of 60 chemistry teachers. Data collection techniques use a Likert scale questionnaire with five response options: Always, Often, Sometimes, Rarely, and Never. Data analysis is performed using SEM with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of the study show a coefficient value of 0.862 with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a t-value of 32.794 > 1.96, indicating that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, signifying a significant influence of digital mindset on teachers' innovative behavior. Teachers with a well-developed digital mindset are more likely to utilize digital tools, engage in ongoing professional development, and collaborate with their peers to share best practices. These behaviors lead to more effective and engaging teaching strategies, ultimately enhancing student understanding and motivation. Despite potential obstacles such as limited training and resources, fostering a digital mindset among chemistry teachers is crucial for advancing educational practices and improving the quality of learning experiences. Therefore, the digital mindset affects the innovative behavior of chemistry teachers. The implications of this study highlight the importance of training and strengthening the digital mindset among teachers to support educational transformation. Training programs focused on improving technological skills and understanding digital pedagogy should be prioritized to create innovative learning environments that adapt to evolving times.
