Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan mutu pendidikan tidak terlepas dari perhatian terhadap kebutuhan dasar siswa, salah satunya adalah asupan gizi yang memadai. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan korelasi antara program pemberian makan gratis di sekolah dengan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Berdasarkan berbagai kajian teori dan studi terdahulu, gizi seimbang terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap fungsi kognitif, termasuk memori, konsentrasi, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Program pemberian makan gratis di sekolah dapat membantu mengatasi masalah gizi buruk, terutama di kalangan siswa dari keluarga berpenghasilan rendah. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program tersebut tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa tetapi juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan motivasi dan partisipasi dalam pendidikan. Namun, keberhasilan program ini dipengaruhi oleh kualitas makanan yang disediakan dan konsistensi pelaksanaannya. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan kebijakan dan monitoring pelaksanaan program makan gratis untuk mendukung keberlanjutan serta peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Partisipasi orang tua merupakan elemen penting dalam mendukung penjaminan mutu pendidikan, khususnya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Pusat Keunggulan (SMK-PK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk dan dampak keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses penjaminan mutu pendidikan. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan melalui studi literatur yang mendalam terhadap teori sistem sosial, teori pemangku kepentingan, dan indikator partisipasi orang tua dalam pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua, seperti perencanaan program sekolah, partisipasi dalam komite, dan penggunaan sistem digital, terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas program pendidikan hingga 42%. Faktor kesadaran, waktu, dan kapasitas finansial menjadi determinan utama tingkat partisipasi, sementara komunikasi yang efektif antara sekolah dan orang tua memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan program pendidikan. Penggunaan teknologi, seperti platform digital kolaboratif, meningkatkan intensitas komunikasi hingga 78% dan mendukung keterlibatan real-time. Selain itu, program pemberdayaan berbasis kompetensi membantu meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua terhadap mutu pendidikan sebesar 45%. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan dunia kerja dalam menciptakan lulusan yang kompeten, adaptif, dan siap bersaing. Strategi berkelanjutan, yang menggabungkan inovasi teknologi dan pemberdayaan orang tua, diperlukan untuk mengatasi kendala partisipasi dan meningkatkan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pendidikan di SMK-PK.

Abstract

This article presents the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) in leadership within the Christian Theological College in Salatiga. Christian Theological Colleges have a unique responsibility in developing not only academic aspects, but also student spirituality. The integration of TQM in leadership in this environment leads to holistic efforts to improve the quality of education. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods accompanied by descriptive analysis to obtain an integrative concept of leadership and TQM within the scope of the Christian Theological College in Salatiga. The research results showed that to integrate TQM and Leadership, a change in the quality paradigm of the leadership team is needed, an obsession with quality and building clear and open communication in order to produce a solid team. The integration of TQM in the leadership of Christian theological colleges will provide a solid foundation for achieving higher quality education while integrating spiritual and moral values in the educational processTulisan ini menyajikan perihal integrasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam kepemimpinan di lingkup Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen di Salatiga. Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen memiliki tanggung jawab yang unik dalam mengembangkan tidak hanya aspek akademis, tetapi juga spiritualitas mahasiswa. Integrasi TQM dalam kepemimpinan di lingkungan ini mengarah pada upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang holistik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif disertai dengan analisis deskriptif untuk mendapatkan konsep integratif kepemimpinan dan TQM dalam lingkup Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen di Salatiga. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa untuk mengintegrasikan TQM dan Kepemimpinan diperlukan perubahan paradigma mutu dari tim pemimpin, obsesi pada mutu dan membangun komunikasi yang jelas serta terbuka dalam rangka menghasilkan tim yang solid. Integrasi TQM dalam kepemimpinan perguruan tinggi teologi Kristen akan memberikan landasan yang kokoh untuk mencapai kualitas pendidikan yang lebih tinggi sekaligus mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral dalam proses pendidikan.

Abstract

Alirena Foundation designed the Papuan Cultural Assessment and Modernization (PBPM) program at Sekolah Anak Indonesia (SAI) Sentul Bogor to improve the quality of graduates. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the PBPM program regarding the effectiveness of the PBPM Program Implementation using a qualitative descriptive evaluation model with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation research. The Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation model is used to describe and explain program evaluation, review results, and make recommendations. The results showed that PBPM is a contextual, culture-based, and modernization education model. This program has a positive impact on the quality of SAI graduates. Students acquire natural science, technology, entrepreneurship and skills with the help of skilled methods of math, language and computer (MBK). PBPM is able to complete Papua with brilliant achievements. In conclusion, PBPM is an effective program to improve the quality of SAI graduates. So, if this PBPM Program is implemented in several schools in Papua, it will have a huge impact on the quality of education in the interior of Papua because this program has been tested for 5 years at Sekolah Anak Indonesia (SAI) under the auspices of the Alirena foundation.

Abstract

Many of the problems that occur in the implementation of education in Indonesia are not only due to the education system but can also be suspected to be due to the perpetrators of the education providers themselves. In reality, there are still quite a lot of school-age people who do not go to school because of the problem of expensive education costs. Thus, in conditions of very limited funds and schools faced with diverse needs, schools must be able to make decisions while still being guided by quality improvement. This study aims to analyze the role and strategy of schools in financing education to improve the quality of education. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was conducted through preliminary analysis of teachers and principals, observations to schools, and interviews of administration staff, teachers and principals at SMA PGRI 12 Jakarta. The results showed that one of the factors that influence the quality of education in a school is the role and strategy of the school in managing its education financing. Thus, the correlation created between school financing and the quality of education can be clearly seen in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of digital literacy and teaching experience on teachers' pedagogical competencies and essential skills, which are crucial for ensuring effective and high-quality learning processes. In the digital era, digital literacy empowers teachers to integrate technology into teaching, while teaching experience shapes their ability to manage classrooms and deliver effective instruction. Despite the increasing importance of these factors, there still needs to be a gap in understanding how they interact to enhance pedagogical competence. Data was gathered by administering questionnaires to 136 private senior high school teachers in the Cengkareng sub-district, who were chosen proportionately at random using a quantitative technique and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that digital literacy and teaching experience significantly influence teachers' pedagogical competence. These results underscore the importance of promoting digital literacy and fostering teaching experience as strategic measures to improve pedagogical competence. The study suggests that targeted professional development initiatives should enhance these factors to improve teaching effectiveness and ultimately elevate school learning outcomes.

Abstract

Teachers, as the main actors in the education process in schools, need to pay attention to the quality of services they provide to students as their primary customers. In achieving the expected quality of service, the principal's leadership plays an important role as the driver and determinant of school policy direction. This study aims to analyze and explore the extent of the influence of instructional leadership on improving the quality of service of Vocational School teachers. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, product-moment correlation, and simple linear regression analysis techniques. The data in the study were obtained through a questionnaire with a research sample of 112 teachers selected randomly through a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that instructional leadership has a positive and significant effect on the quality of teacher services, with a percentage of the influence being 42.9%, which means a moderate correlation. This provides information that if instructional leadership by school principals increases, the quality of teacher services in schools will also increase. This study implies that principals need to allocate particular time to motivate and facilitate teachers to improve the quality of their services, dialogue with teachers, build effective communication, conduct adequate supervision, and monitor the progress of student learning outcomes optimally through teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to answer these questions through a systematic analysis of empirical literature published in the period 2015–2025. Given the importance of evidence-based policies, this study is expected to provide comprehensive insights into the effectiveness of BOS Funds and become a basis for more targeted and equitable education policy reforms. Using a systematic literature review method, this article examines seven main sources that include quantitative, qualitative, and mixed approaches. The focus of the study is directed at quality indicators such as the learning process, facilities and infrastructure, and education governance. The results of the study indicate that BOS Funds generally contribute to improving the quality of the teaching and learning process and education facilities. However, there are still significant gaps in the effectiveness of implementation, especially between developed regions and 3T (disadvantaged, outermost, and frontier) regions, as well as weak accountability and reporting systems for the use of funds. This study recommends reformulating BOS policies based on local needs and improving the monitoring system through digitalization. This article is expected to contribute to the formulation of evidence-based policies for increasing basic education funding in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the practices of inclusive education financing based on national and international literature, with a focus on how funding systems can be responsive to the needs of children with special needs (ABK) and support the development of a more equitable and inclusive education system. The study employs a literature review approach using a descriptive-qualitative method. Sources analyzed include scholarly journals, national policy documents such as UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 and Permendiknas No. 70 Tahun 2009, as well as reports from international institutions. Content analysis techniques were used to explore financing models, implementation challenges, and best practices in inclusive education. The review reveals that countries like Australia and Finland have adopted funding models based on individual student needs and tiered support systems. In Indonesia, inclusive education financing heavily relies on the General Operational Assistance Fund (Dana BOS), which does not adequately account for the specific needs of ABK. Additional challenges include limited teacher training, disparities in regional funding allocations, and the absence of technical regulations for inclusive spending. This article highlights the importance of responsive, flexible, and needs-based funding approaches as a foundation for inclusive education reform.
