Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan media dalam pembelajaran sehingga siswa kurang termotivasi dalam belajar dan aktivitas yang ditunjukan tidak optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dengan menggunakan Media Visual, (2) Untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan Media Visual, (3) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media Visual pada materi pencernaan makanan pada manusia  kelas V semester Ganjil. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui (1) Lembar observasi guru, (2) Lembar observasi siswa, (3) Soal tes hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan bahwa (1) aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 70,76% (kategori baik) dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 89,23% (kategori sangat baik); (2) aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar pada siklus I sebesar  70,30% (kategori baik) dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 90,76% (kategori sangat baik); (3) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I belum tuntas dengan persentase 68,18% (kategori baik), sedangkan pada siklus II sudah tuntas dengan persentase 88,64% (kategori sangat baik). Dengan demikian, penerapan media visual dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas  V MIN 20 Aceh Besar.

Abstract

Online study had been conducted in Islamic Elementary School Teacher Study Program (PGMI) at UIN Ar-Raniry far before the pandemic happened, the difference was the studying process was not entirely conducted online at that time. Therefore, this study aims to know the Islamic Elementary School Teacher Study Program (PGMI) student’s perception toward the online study system during Covid-19, the problem faced while the study process and the solution used to anticipate the obstacle during online study. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with a total 40 samples from purposive sampling technique. The data collection was conducted by questionnaire via google form and interviewed 15 participants to collect the detailed information. The result shows there are various perceptions from the participants toward online study and some arguments with a highest percentage, 100% students said that the internet connection was the common problem while 90% of students have difficulties in understanding online material. Those are the problems faced by PGMI students during the online study process. Besides, the students are still able to find a place with a better internet connection and learn independently. In conclusion, the online study process held during Covid-19 pandemic was not effective based on the student’s perception.

Abstract

One of the factors causing low learning outcomes is the incompatibility of the media in delivering the material. Using media can make it easier for students to understand the material presented by the teacher, one of which is the use of Realia media. This study aims to analyze the effect of using Realia media on student learning outcomes in the material for changing the nature of objects in class V MIN 40 Aceh Besar. The research design used was Pre - Experimental Design type Intact Group Comparison. The population of this research is class V students totaling 28 people, using saturated sampling. Data was collected using tests and analyzed through statistical tests assisted by SPSS 20. The Independent Sample T-Test test results were obtained that tcount < ttable or -4.857 < 2.056. The results showed that there was a significant effect of using Realia media on student learning outcomes in the material for changing the nature of objects in class V MIN 40 Aceh Besar.

Abstract

In the process of implementing science learning in class V at MIN 2 Nagan Raya, it is still dominated by students who are not able to understand the material well, this is evidenced by the data of student learning observation is still below the KKM, which is 60. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze teacher activities, (2) to analyze student activities, (3) to analyze the improvement of concept understanding, (4) to analyze learning outcomes after applying  the Problem Based Learning  model assisted by realia media in class V MIN 2 Nagan Raya. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection techniques used are observation and Test, data analysis techniques used using a percentage formula. The results of the study showed that (1) the activity of teachers in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 82.40% in the second cycle increased with a percentage of 92.59%. (2) Student activity in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 78.70%, increased in the second cycle with a percentage of 89.81%, (3) The results of the concept comprehension test of students in the first cycle were 63.23% and then increased in the second cycle with a percentage of 86.97%, (4) the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle were 52.94% and increased in the second cycle to 92.85%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes through the use of the Problem Based Learning  model assisted by Realia media in class V MIN 2 Nagan Raya.Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Problem Based Learning, Realia Media

Abstract

The issue of limited learning media and students' difficulties in understanding the material prompted the author to conduct this research. Based on an analysis of the textbooks used, the material presented is general in nature and not connected to local wisdom relevant to students' surroundings. This study aims to: (1) design an Animaker-based instructional video integrating local wisdom; (2) assess its feasibility; and (3) evaluate its practicality. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Alessi and Trollip model.The results indicate that the developed instructional video is highly feasible and practical for use. Validation results showed the following scores: material expert 93.8%, media expert 91.5%, and language expert 98.4%—all rated as “Highly Feasible.” Practicality tests by classroom teachers yielded scores of 100% (Grade IV-A) and 94% (Grade IV-B), both categorized as “Highly Practical.” The student practicality test yielded a score of 88.8%, also rated as “Highly Practical.” Therefore, the Animaker-based instructional video integrating local wisdom is suitable for use in learning, particularly in introducing the local wisdom of Nagan Raya at MIN 1 Nagan Raya.
