Abstract

Administration of the Islamic education curriculum is something that has an important role in achieving educational goals. The aim of this research is to describe the administration of the Islamic education curriculum at SD Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang. The administration of the Islamic education curriculum at Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang Elementary School includes learning aspects that are well covered and recorded, starting from monitoring, student attendance and attendance, monthly class reporting to identify student needs to evaluating grades to measure the academic progress of students at Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang Elementary School. Priority on effective administration provides a strong foundation for improving the quality of learning. The curriculum not only provides direction for the learning process, but also creates a foundation for the formation of students' character and spiritual values. Effective administration in managing the curriculum ensures that all aspects of learning are covered well, from the development of students' psychomotor aspects to parent participation in supporting school programs. Implementation of the Islamic education curriculum at Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang Elementary School by emphasizing integration of Tahfizh subjects, development of students' psychomotor aspects, parent participation, and flexibility in implementing the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the implementation of teacher training conducted by STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara for PAUD / TK Hatinia Barokah teachers, then how the benefits of teacher training carried out by STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara. This research is a field research (field research) with a qualitative approach and the data collection techniques are observation, interview, action and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of teacher training conducted by STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara for PAUD / TK Hatinia Barokah teachers is a community service program on making audio-visual media, especially designing and making learning videos. The benefits of teacher training teacher training activities carried out by STIT Al-Ittihadiyah Labuhanbatu Utara are to improve the ability of teachers to create and use video media in learning, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

At an early age, children's memorization abilities develop rapidly, making this period a crucial time to instill the habit and ability to memorize the Qur'an. At TK Islam Ridho Walidaina, the Qur'an memorization program is one of the main focuses in learning. However, achieving memorization targets is often a challenge due to children's fluctuating motivation and difficulty in maintaining focus. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Tsawab (reward) and Iqab (punishment) methods in improving the ability to memorize the Qur'an in children at Ridho Walidaina Islamic Kindergarten. In this study, the researcher used the type of classroom action research (CAR), by conducting case studies to research problems in the classroom during learning with the aim of improving or increasing the quality of learning. The results of the study showed that the Tsawab (reward) and Iqab (punishment) methods were effective in improving students' ability to memorize the Qur'an. In Cycle I, only 66.6% of students successfully completed the memorization, indicating the need for improvement. After the application of more intensive methods in Cycle II, the percentage of success increased significantly to 85.7%. This shows that giving rewards and punishments helps improve children's motivation and discipline in memorizing the Qur'an.

Abstract

Instilling an attitude of religious tolerance from an early age is an urgent need in the context of a multicultural Indonesian society. However, in practice, various challenges are still found in elementary school environments, such as students' low understanding of the importance of tolerance and limited time and learning approaches used in Islamic Religious Education. This study aims to describe the PAI curriculum in developing students' religious tolerance attitudes at SDN 114339 Kuala Bangka. This study uses a qualitative field method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education curriculum management plays an important role in developing students' religious tolerance attitudes. This is reflected in the planning process that involves the active role of teachers in providing role models and integrating Islamic values that uphold tolerance. In its implementation, learning methods are used that develop students' audio and visual abilities, such as making posters, showing videos, and writing short essays about tolerance. The obstacles faced include the diversity of students' backgrounds, their low understanding of tolerance, and the limited learning time which only takes place once a week.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) has a fundamental role in the formation of children's character which will later influence their behavior and morals in the future. Teacher leadership in PAUD is not only limited to teaching, but also includes the role as a guide to children's character. This article aims to examine the leadership of PAUD teachers in instilling character values ​​in children, with an approach based on the perspective of the Qur'an. Using a library research method, this article analyzes the texts of the Qur'an that are relevant to the principles of leadership, as well as the application of these values ​​in the context of early childhood education. The novelty of this study lies in the perspective of the in-depth application of the Qur'an in the map of ideal leadership characteristics for PAUD teachers, including the values ​​of honesty, compassion, discipline, and justice. The results of this study found that from the perspective of the Qur'an, a teacher's leadership must include exemplary behavior, wisdom, and patience, all of which play a role in forming children's character in a gentle and understanding manner. This study also suggests that the application of these principles in teaching practice can optimize the process of forming children's character and strengthen children's moral foundations from an early age. Through this literature research, it is hoped that it can provide a contribution to the development of educational practices based on the spiritual values ​​contained in the Al-Quran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Curriculum in developing students' characters at the Humayroh Private Elementary School (MIS), Parpaudangan Village, North Labuhanbatu. The Tahfizhul Qur'an Curriculum is one of the educational approaches that teaching and memorizing the Qur'an as an integral part of the process of forming students' characters. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to obtain an in-depth picture of the implementation of this curriculum. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, students, and principals, and related documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an curriculum at MIS Humayroh not only focuses on the memorization aspect of the Qur'an, but also on strengthening moral and spiritual values, such as discipline, responsibility, and respect for others. This curriculum has a positive impact on the development of students' characters, where they show improvements in terms of morals, social skills, and learning motivation. However, there are challenges in terms of educator resources and facilities that need to be improved to support optimal performance implementation. This study recommends improving training for teachers and providing more adequate facilities so that the goal of character development through Tahfizhul Qur'an can be achieved more effectively.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan penting abad ke-21 yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini, termasuk dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis. Namun, di banyak madrasah, pembelajaran agama masih cenderung bersifat hafalan dan belum diarahkan untuk melatih kemampuan analisis dan refleksi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di MIS Humayroh Parpaudangan Labuhanbatu Utara pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi, berlokasi di MIS Humayroh, dipilih karena madrasah ini telah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka dan mendorong pembelajaran aktif. Sumber data terdiri dari data primer berupa wawancara dengan guru, siswa, kepala sekolah, dan wakil kepala kurikulum, serta data sekunder berupa dokumen RPP dan perangkat pembelajaran lainnya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis refleksi dan kontekstualisasi, dengan penggunaan metode ceramah aktif, diskusi, story telling, praktik langsung, serta penguatan melalui pertanyaan terbuka yang menuntut analisis. Strategi ini terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an Hadis dengan realitas kehidupan siswa untuk membentuk generasi yang tidak hanya paham agama, tetapi juga mampu berpikir logis, mandiri, dan bijaksana.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Sentra dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di RA Ummi Faqihah. Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana metode ini diterapkan dalam praktik, dampaknya terhadap perkembangan anak, serta peran guru sebagai fasilitator dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pendidik di kelas ketika menggunakan pendekatan ini. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru, dan dokumentasi kegiatan kelas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada interaksi anak-anak dengan berbagai sentra tematik, termasuk sentra seni, bahasa, dan keterampilan sosial. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan hasil dari penerapan metode ini. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Sentra efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan motorik anak. Dengan menyediakan sentra tematik yang disesuaikan dengan minat anak, metode ini mendorong partisipasi aktif dan merangsang kreativitas. Namun, tantangan seperti manajemen waktu, pengaturan ruang, dan ketidaksetaraan partisipasi di antara anak-anak teridentifikasi sebagai hambatan. Guru memainkan peran penting dalam membimbing, mengamati, dan memastikan bahwa tujuan pembelajaran tercapai di setiap sentra. Kata Kunci: Sentra, PAUD, Pengembangan Kognitif, Guru

Abstract

The Islamic Education Curriculum for Early Childhood (PAUD) has an important role in shaping the character and morals of children from an early age. The perspective of the Qur'an is the main basis for designing a curriculum that can integrate Islamic teachings into children's daily lives. The Qur'an as a guide to life provides guidance related to character formation, development of spiritual intelligence, and instilling moral values that must be applied in early childhood education. In the perspective of the Qur'an, education for children is taught with a loving approach, the formation of faith, and an emphasis on noble morals. Concepts such as monotheism, kindness, honesty, and emotional management (patience, gratitude, tawakal) are values that can be used as a basis for the PAUD curriculum. This article aims to analyze how the principles contained in the Qur'an can be implemented in the Islamic Education curriculum for early childhood, so that it can facilitate the development of children's potential holistically, both in terms of spiritual, emotional, and moral aspects. It is hoped that the implementation of this curriculum will produce a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also strong in religious values and good character.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the character education curriculum at Raudhatul Athfal At Taufiq Salam Labuhanbatu Utara and its effectiveness in cultivating students' morality through early childhood education practices. Methodology: This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews with teachers and school administrators. The study focused on how character values were embedded in daily school activities, thematic learning, teacher modeling, and school culture. Supporting literature and relevant documents were also analyzed to validate findings. Main Findings: The findings revealed that character values such as religiosity, honesty, discipline, and social care were effectively instilled through an integrated approach. The main challenges included limited teacher understanding of character-based pedagogy, lack of synergy between school and parents, and inadequate facilities. Nonetheless, the character education practices at Raudhatul Athfal At Taufiq Salam contributed positively to students' moral development. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study contributes to the field of early childhood education by highlighting the contextual implementation of character education within an Islamic preschool setting. It emphasizes the integration of moral values into routine learning, offering insights into best practices and practical challenges faced by educators in rural Indonesian schools.
