Abstract

This study explores the strengthening of Islamic Religious Education values at the Nyai Ahmad Dahlan Ponorogo Child Welfare Institution (LKSA NAD) in developing foster children's independence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documents. Validity was tested by triangulation, and data analysis was carried out using the Miles interactive model, including collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion. Strengthening the values of Islamic Education (PAI) at LKSA NAD plays a vital role in developing the character of independence of foster children. Strengthening the values of PAI at LKSA NAD is carried out through material, habituation, and lectures. Strengthening the material includes memorisation of the qur'an, interpretation, the qur'an and hadith, aqidah akhlaq, fiqh, and imla, qira'ah (recitation), arabic language learning, muhadarah (speech), al-Islam and Muhammadiyah, tartil reading the qur'an. Habituation is carried out through activities at the Ramadhan short-term boarding school, obligatory and sunnah worship, while lectures are given in religious study (kajian). This program has successfully increased foster children's independence, especially in making independent decisions, understanding moral values, and preparing themselves professionally with Islamic ethics. Foster children realise the benefits of this program in facing independent life in the future, although it was initially challenging. Materials such as memorising the qur'an, aqidah akhlaq, fiqh, and muhadarah are essential in strengthening PAI values. This study shows that strengthening Islamic Education values significantly contributes to increasing foster children's independence through Islamic ethics and responsible decision-making skills.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the Iqra method in improving elementary school students' reading ability in the public school environment. It aims to explore how the Iqra method can be adapted in the formal education system, especially in the context of public elementary schools, which have limited religious lesson hours and heterogeneous student reading abilities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of documents related to learning the Qur'an. The study results show that the Iqra' method applied systematically, combined with interactive learning media and formative-based evaluation systems, significantly improves students' Qur'an reading ability. Students who initially had difficulties in recognizing and prociting hijaiyah letters showed a gradual improvement in fluency and reading accuracy after participating in Iqra'-based learning. These findings confirm that the Iqra' method is not only effective in non-formal educational environments such as TPA, but can also be optimally implemented in the public elementary school system with the right strategy. This study has a scientific contribution by highlighting how the Iqra' method can be integrated in formal education systems with structural limitations, which has been rarely studied in previous studies.

Abstract

It’s very important for education to answer the challenges of the times to prepare a generation that is able to face global change and the complexity of the future. The challenges of this era include social, economic, technological, and environmental changes that are developing rapidly. Innovation in the use of learning media is very necessary as an effort to maximize the learning process in the classroom. This is more directed at the cognitive dimension, namely mastery and understanding of Islamic Religious Education material, plus the progress of information and communication technology is currently increasingly rapid. This research is a library research with a descriptive-analytical approach. In collecting data, it is carried out through sources related to the research subject, such as books, journals, and the internet, analyzed and concluded. The results of this study are: First, Use of Applications: Interactive applications such as Kahoot, Quizizz, and Google Forms, as well as the Canva platform can be used to create interactive quizzes related to Islamic Religious Education material, Second, Learning Videos and animations: Content that tells the story of the prophet, Islamic history, or Islamic moral values can convey messages visually well and videos like this can be uploaded on platforms such as YouTube, and Third, Educational games with Islamic themes: Games with Islamic themes, such as quizzes about Islamic morals or adventures about the story of the prophet, can make students learn in a fun way. and play videos with ablution practices and prayer procedures, adjusted to the theme of Islamic Religious Education lessons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gerakan tajdid pada Masjid Darul Hikmah Ponorogo, untuk mengetahui respon perubahan sosial bagi jamaah Masjid Darul Hikmah Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menguraikan, kejadian dengan menguraikan sesuai fakta yang di lapangan baik secara individu ataupun dengan berkelompok. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data, dengan cara melakukan melalui observasi, serta wawancara, dan dokumentsi. Namun teknik analisis data menggunakan teori Miles MB, Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut, memberikan dampak positif bahwa gerakan tajdid di Masjid Darul Hikmah Ponorogo melalui kajian tajdid bidang aqidah setiap 1 minggu tiga kali. Pada malam senin dengan kajian hadits arbain nawawi, malam rabu kajian tafsir Al-Qur'an, dan malam minggu kajian Adab. Serta jamaah yang datangan sangat semangat sekali untuk mengikuti kajiannya sehingga menambah ilmu pengetahuannya semakin meluas, selain itu pematri sangat ahli dibidangnya, jamaah yang mengikuti sangat banyak mulai dari 70 orang hingga 100 orang masing-masing dari pemateri yang berbeda. Lebih menarik lagi kajian ini sangat lama sudah berjalan kurang lebih 15 tahun. Perubahan sosialnya, mengalami peningkatan semakin hari jamaah bertambah banyak maka infaq pula bertambah sehingga sangat peduli dan menjunjung jiwa sosialnya untuk iuran bersama sebesar uang 60,000 ataupun berupa beras 5kg, untuk memberikan infaq kepada tukang becak, tukang sepatu, dan tukang parkir supaya bisa membantu perekonomian mereka yang diadakan setiap bulan pada awal bulan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan pembelajaran Al Islam berbasis  Edutaiment dengan metode pembelajaran edukatif di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Bojonegoro sehingga siswa akan lebih tertarik untu memahami materi pelajaran Al Islam. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data dan wawancara pada guru Al Islam  dan beberapa siswa kelas XII, dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus dan berdasarkan kajian Pustaka dapat mengetahui pengembangan pembelajaran Al Islam di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Bojonegoro. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles, Hubermandn Saldana dengan langkah-langkah kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.  Hasil penelitian ini bahwa pembelajaran PAI berbasis edutainment di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Bojonegoro melibatkan permainan edukatif seperti Rebut Bola, Kuis, dan Tantangan Mencocokkan Hadis. Tujuan dari permainan ini adalah meningkatkan konsentrasi, pemahaman materi, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Permainan ini mendorong siswa untuk berpikir cepat dan tepat dalam mengambil keputusan, serta memperdalam pemahaman mereka terhadap nilai-nilai Islam secara interaktif. Evaluasi pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis edutainment dapat meningkatkan minat belajar, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana internalisasi ideologi Muhammadiyah dalam proses pembelajaran di SD 1 Aisyah Mataram dan dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang melibatkan angket dan wawancara sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa internalisasi ideologi Muhammadiyah di sekolah ini dilakukan melalui metode keteladanan guru, pembelajaran interaktif, dan kegiatan keagamaan seperti tadarus Al-Quran dan sholat dhuha. Siswa diajarkan nilai-nilai Muhammadiyah seperti kemandirian, pemikiran kritis, dan kepedulian sosial, yang secara positif membentuk karakter mereka. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Muhammadiyah, serta perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru dan evaluasi berkala terhadap pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model pendidikan berbasis ideologi keagamaan di Indonesia, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan karakter berbasis Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Tapak Suci, an extracurricular martial arts program, in shaping the character of students at MI Muhammadiyah 4 Kandat. The primary focus of the research is on how Tapak Suci contributes to the development of responsibility, discipline, and social character among students, addressing the growing concern over character education in schools. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research employed in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis to collect data from the head of the school, Tapak Suci trainers, and students. The findings reveal that Tapak Suci activities promote responsibility through punctuality and adherence to training rules, discipline through structured routines, and social character through collaborative exercises. These findings highlight the potential of physical activities, particularly those with a moral and religious foundation, in fostering well-rounded character development in students. The study suggests that Tapak Suci can serve as a model for other schools aiming to integrate character education into extracurricular programs. The results also open avenues for future research on the long-term impact of martial arts-based character education across various educational contexts.

Abstract

Sholat dhuha merupakan kegiatan yang dapat memberikan penguatan akan permasalahan yang terjadi di sekolah, seperti adanya keterlambatan peserta didik, kurangnya kedisiplinan, kurangnya kesadaran dalam beribadah, dan masih banyaknya peserta didik yang belum tertib dalam berwudhu di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan sholat dhuha dan dampaknya bagi kedisiplinan perserta didik di MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. Pendekatan penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Informan penelitian ini adalah guru bidang keagamaan, guru bidang kesiswaan dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penyelenggaraan program sholat dhuha di MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang ini memberikan solusi akan kedisiplinan peserta didik, dengan Implementasi Program Sholat Dhuha Berjamaah untuk Membentuk Sikap Disiplin Peserta Didik dan indicator keberhasilan 1). Peserta didik datang tepat waktu; 2). Adanya peningkatan ketakwaan pada peserta didik yang dapat dilihat melalui pembiasaan sholat dhuha dan proses dalam belajar; dan 3). Mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu. Pelaksanaan sholat dhuha dilakukan pukul 07.00 pagi yang mana peserta didik diharapkan sudah berwudhu dari rumah untuk efesiennya waktu. Sebeleum Sholat, guru mengkoordinir peserta didik menuju masjid dan melakukan absensi kehadiran.Dhuha prayer is an activity that can provide reinforcement for problems that occur in schools, such as the tardiness of students, lack of discipline, lack of awareness in worship, and there are still many students who have not been orderly in ablution at school. This study aims to describe the application of dhuha prayer and its impact on student discipline at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. The research approach that researchers use is qualitative with the type of case study. The informants of this research are religious teachers, student affairs teachers and students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the dhuha prayer program at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang provides a solution to the discipline of students, with the Implementation of the Congregational Dhuha Prayer Program to Form Disciplinary Attitudes of Learners and success indicators 1). Learners come on time; 2). There is an increase in piety in students which can be seen through the habituation of dhuha prayers and the process of learning; and 3). Collecting assignments on time. The implementation of dhuha prayers is carried out at 07.00 in the morning where students are expected to have wudhu from home for time afficiency. Before the prayer, the teacher coordinates students to the mosque and takes attendance

Abstract

Modern education today is more focused on academic aspects, strengthening moral values and character in students is often neglected. This has an impact on the moral and social quality of the younger generation who tend to experience a decline in attitudes, behavior, and the practice of religious teachings. With the “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” program integrating the learning of the Quran hadith, fiqh, akidah akhlak in life helps build the character of the students again. This research uses a qualitative research approach with a case study research type. The location of this research is SMPN 2 Blora which is located on Jalan Gunandar no. 72, Kedungjenar, Blora, Central Java. The reason for choosing this location is because SMPN 2 Blora is the first school to implement the “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” Program and will later be used as a role model for other schools. The research method uses interviews conducted with the principal, students, PAI teachers, and Sekolah Sisan Ngaji teachers, while observation is carried out to explore detailed information by direct observation of the “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” Program activities, and documentation. For data analysis using data condensation, data reduction and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. The findings in the study show that in the “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” program there are 3 core activities as an effort to improve the morals of students, namely literacy activities (learning) and understanding of religious scriptures, daily worship practices according to Islamic teachings, application of Islamic religious teachings in everyday life. Abstrak Pendidikan modern saat ini lebih terfokus pada aspek akademis, penguatan nilai-nilai akhlak dan karakter pada peserta didik sering kali terabaikan. Hal ini berdampak pada kualitas moral dan sosial generasi muda yang cenderung mengalami penurunan dalam sikap, perilaku, dan pengamalan ajaran agama. Dengan adanya program “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” mengintegrasikan pembelajaran Alquran hadis, fikih, akidah akhlak dalam kehidupan membantu membangun karakter peserta didik itu kembali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMPN 2 Blora yang terletak di Jalan Gunandar no. 72, Kedungjenar, Blora Jawa Tengah. Alasan memilih lokasi tersebut yaitu dikarenakan SMPN 2 Blora merupakan sekolah pertama yang menerapkan Program “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” dan nantinya akan dijadikan sebagai role model untuk sekolah-sekolah lainnya. metode penelitiannya menggunakan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan kepala sekolah, peserta didik, guru PAI, dan guru Sekolah Sisan Ngaji, sedangkan observasi dilakukan untuk menggali informasi secara detail dengan pengamatan langsung terhadap kegiatan Program “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji”, dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, reduksi data dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi Teknik. Temuan dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam program “Sekolah Sisan Ngaji” terdapat 3 kegiatan inti sebagai Upaya memperbaiki akhlak peserta didik yaitu kegiatan literasi (pembelajaran) dan pemahaman terhadap kitab suci agama, praktik ibadah harian sesuai ajaran agama Islam, pengaplikasian ajaran agam Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To examine in depth the spiritual attitude of grade XII students at Tugumulyo State High School. (2) To study the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in shaping the spiritual attitude of grade XII students at Tugumulyo State High School. This research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach, so the researcher will go directly to the field (field research) to dig up as much information as possible needed in this research. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study conclude that (1) the spiritual attitude of grade XII students at Tugumulyo State High School, including the following: Getting used to and carrying out prayers in congregation and on time, getting used to reciting the Qur'an or reciting, always saying thayyibah sentences, getting used to praying before and after doing activities, and politeness in attitude. (2) The efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in shaping the spiritual attitude of grade XII students at Tugumulyo State High School, including the following: Teachers use methods to form spiritual attitudes, carry out and habit of behaving following the demands of karimah exemplified by the Prophet, get used to dhuha prayers and congregational dzuhur prayers to improve worship discipline, hold study or recitation activities for additional knowledge about Islamic teachings,  development of religious behaviour through Islamic religious education lessons, and providing punishment according to students' violations.
