Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the correlations of bullying behavior and school climate students at SMKN A. At this research, the total sample is 330 students and the sampling technique was in Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The measuring instruments used are the bullying behavior scale (20 items) and the school climate scale (25 items). The data analysis technique uses the product moment correlation technique. Based on the results of data analysis, the correlation coefficient (r) for -0.82 with a significance (p) of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Therefore, the hypothesat this research was accepted as the conclusion of the relationship in the direction of a negative between school climate and bullying behavior. The practical implication is that this research can be used as reference material for students to respond better to the school climate and as a guide in improving their social behavior at school.

Abstract

Kedisplinan merupakan faktor kunci keberhasilan dari lembaga pendidikan. Pnelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh antara Manajemen Kesiswawan Terhadap Disiplin Belajar Siswa. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan menyebar angket kepada 32 responden. Penelitian ini melihat dampak dari variabel manajemen kesiswaan terhadap disiplin belajar siswa. Kedisiplinan merupakan variabel dominan dari penelitian ini. Pengolahan data dari penelitian ini di olah dengan menggunakan SmartPLS. Temuan dari penelitian ini bahwa ditemukan besarnya kontribusi dari setiap indikator manajemen kesiswaan terhadap disiplin belajar siswa. Nilai R-squre variabel manajemen kesiswaan sebesar 0,497 yang berarti variabel ini memberikan besar kontribusi 49,7%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan memberikan kontribusi yang besar terhadap disiplin belajar siswa

Abstract

Professional character development necessitates a variety of outcome-based evaluation strategies. This article suggests modifying the concept and substance of the lecturer evaluation system to improve professional lecturer characteristics. Qualitative research using the grounded approach, technological data mining, and experience Data analysis on MPI professional practice at IAIN Lhokseumawe utilizing analytic research. The study's research boundaries represent instructors' professional competency in the aims of the Tri Dharma of higher education. The results of the study revealed that the new subject offered by the MPI IAIN Lhokseumawe. To begin, lessons learned about professional traits based on religious beliefs and job evaluations have implications for classroom instruction, research, and community outreach. Second, the identification of empirical indicators of professionalism outcome attainment is identified by performance assessment reports and procedures for building a culture of professionalism that is regarded as ideal for formalization through a reward and punishment system. Third, professional growth in higher education is accomplished by strategic evaluative personal skills, substantial education, institutional training, job autonomy, and adherence to an ethical code. When the principle of professionalism is studied, the practical implication will be the establishment of a global management professional who will contribute qualitatively to the demands of the industrial world and raise the growth of the global economy as a whole.

Abstract

Abstract This research attempted to investigate the effectiveness of using Wordwall.net media to improve junior high school students' vocabulary mastery. This research carried out classroom action research (CAR). Thirty students of class VIII.E at SMPN 7 Kota Bengkulu in the academic year of 2022/2023 were the research subjects. The instruments used were vocabulary test, observation checklist, and note. The results showed the improvement in students' vocabulary test that was proven in the percentage of students who passed the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) from the pre-cycle to cycle 2. The improvement of classroom situations during the teaching-learning process also occurred in terms of students' attention, activeness, and confidence in learning English. Thus, wordwall.net is a potential medium to teach English vocabulary.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe the principal's leadership and how professionals are used at SMP PAB 21 Pematang Johar to foster teacher professionalism. To collect data in this research, qualitative descriptive methods were used which included observation, documentation and interviews. Those involved in this research were the principal, deputy principal, teachers and other staff members who took part in this research. Research conclusions include the following: 1) Principal leadership in fostering teacher professionalism. Here are some of the principal's responsibilities: Effective communication, working relationships or collaboration, and responsibility. 2) The professionalism of PAB 21 Pematang Johar Middle School teachers is being developed. The role of teacher professionalism includes: Learning methodology, program evaluation, and in-depth mastery of educational resources are part of a teacher's professional responsibilities. However, some teachers lack commitment; examples include failure to prepare teaching materials or equipment, being late to class, missing class or being prevented from attending class, and failing to use teaching resources. However, in principle, the principal always tries to solve this problem at a personal level by offering guidance, providing rewards, incentives and punishments as well as effective communication. Then, to provide quality and productive learning, provide direction and opportunities for instructors to demonstrate their skills in carrying out their professional teaching obligations.Keywords: Leadership, Principal, Professional Teacher Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan bagaimana profesional yang digunakan di SMP PAB 21 Pematang Johar untuk menumbuhkan profesionalisme guru. Untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Adapun yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala, guru, dan anggota staf lainnya berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulan penelitian antara lain sebagai berikut: 1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membina profesionalisme guru. Berikut beberapa tanggung jawab kepala sekolah: Komunikasi yang efektif, hubungan kerja atau kolaborasi, dan bertanggung jawab. 2) Profesionalisme guru SMP PAB 21 Pematang Johar sedang dikembangkan. Adapun peranan profesionalisme guru mencakup : Metodologi pembelajaran, evaluasi program, dan penguasaan sumber daya pendidikan secara mendalam merupakan bagian dari tanggung jawab profesional seorang guru. Namun demikian, beberapa guru kurang memiliki komitmen; contohnya termasuk kegagalan menyiapkan materi atau peralatan pengajaran, terlambat masuk kelas, tidak masuk kelas atau dilarang mengikuti kelas, dan gagal menggunakan sumber daya pengajaran. Namun prinsipnya kepala sekolah selalu berupaya menyelesaikan masalah ini pada tingkat pribadi dengan menawarkan bimbingan, memberikan reward, insentif, dan hukuman serta komunikasi yang efektif. Kemudian, untuk menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang bermutu dan produktif, memberikan arahan dan kesempatan kepada instruktur untuk menunjukkan kemahirannya dalam melaksanakan kewajiban mengajar profesionalnya.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Kepala Sekolah, Profesional Guru

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine how to foster students' creativity and innovativeness through entrepreneurial activities. Using observation, documentation, and interviews as data collection methods, this study uses a qualitative descriptive research methodology involving school principals, teachers, and students. The findings of this research are the management of entrepreneurial activities in fostering the creativity of students at SMK Sinar Husni 1 BM L Deli, namely: 1) Students are creative in generating new ideas, 2) Students are creative in developing ideas, 3) Students are creative in create business opportunities. And the management of entrepreneurial activities in growing innovation at SMK Sinar Husni 1 BM L Deli, namely: 1) Students learn innovation from existing experience, 2) Students can create new products, 3) Students can increase productivity, product/service quality and profit. This research reveals how managing entrepreneurial activities fosters creativity and innovation in students.    Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Creativity, Innovative Abstrak: Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk menentukan bagaimana menumbuhkan kreativitas dan inovatif siswa melalui kegiatan kewirausahaan. Menggunakan pengamatan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara sebagai metode pengumpulan data, studi ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Adapun temuan penelitian ini ialah pengelolaan kegiatan kewirausahaan dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas peserta didik SMK Sinar Husni 1 BM L Deli, yaitu: 1) Peserta didik kreatif dalam melahirkan ide baru, 2) Peserta didik kreatif dalam mengembangkan ide-ide, 3) Peserta didik kreatif dalam menciptakan peluang usaha. Dan pengelolaan kegiatan kewirausahaan dalam menumbuhkan inovatif SMK Sinar Husni 1 BM L Deli, yaitu: 1) Peserta didik mempelajari inovasi dari pengalaman yang ada, 2) Peserta didik dapat menciptakan produk baru, 3) Peserta didik dapat meningkatkan produktivitas, kualitas produk/layanan serta keuntungan. Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the influence of extracurricular management on non-academic achievement at SMA BUDI SATRYA. The dependent variable in this research is extracurricular management (X), the dependent variable is non-academic achievement (Y). The research population and sample is a sample of 32 teachers who will participate in this research, there are 14 male teachers and 18 female teachers. The teachers selected as respondents are those who have the capacity and are the main keys to the school. The data obtained were analyzed using the PLS analysis technique (Partial Least Square via SmartPLS Software. Based on the research results it can be concluded that: (1) Extracurricular Management has a positive and significant effect on Non-Academic Achievement at SMA BUDI SATRYA through partial testing, where scores were obtained The calculated t for Extracurricular Management is 5.203 ≥ t table, namely 1.654, so it can be concluded that Extracurricular Management has an effect on Non-Academic Achievement. Thus, hypothesis H1 in this study is accepted.Keywords: Extracurricular Management, Non-Academic AchievementAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Manajemen Ekstrakulikuler Terhadap Prestasi Non Akademik di SMA BUDI SATRYA Variabel dependen pada penelitian ini adalah Manajemen Ekstrakulikuler (X), variabel dependen yaitu Prestasi Non Akademik (Y). Sampel penelitian adalah Sampel sebanyak 32 orang guru yang akan berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini, terdapat guru laki-laki berjumlah 14 orang dan guru perempuan berjumlah 18, guru-guru yang dipilih sebagai respondent adalah mereka memiliki kapasitas dan menjadi kunci utama pada sekolah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis PLS (Partial Least Square melalui Software SmartPLS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Manajemen Ektrakurikuler berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Prestasi Non Akademik di SMA BUDI SATRYA melalui pengujian secara parsial, diperoleh nilai t hitung untuk Manajemen Ektrakurikuler adalah 5,203 ≥ t tabel yaitu 1,654, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Manajemen Ektrakurikuler berpengaruh terhadap Prestasi Non Akademik. Dengan demikian, hipotesis H1 dalam penelitian ini diterima.Kata kunci: Manajemen Ekstrakulikuler, Prestasi Non Akademik

Abstract

The increasing public interest in Islamic Education Institutions has not been followed by efforts to improve the quality of Islamic Education Institutions (IEI). The quality of IEI will have an impact on its competitiveness. This research uses a qualitative method of literature type. The data collection technique starts from mapping, analyzing, and evaluating data from primary sources in the form of scholars' results of previous studies. The findings in this study are four main things that must be achieved or maintained by Islamic educational institutions to improve quality and have competitiveness: 1) Islamic educational institutions must have a high quality that follows the wishes of parents, government, and society in general. 2) Islamic educational institutions need to pay attention to and examine every customer response from Islamic educational institutions because the main goal is to provide satisfaction to customers of Islamic educational institutions (students, parents, government, and the world works). 3) Innovation is necessary because Islamic educational institutions can respond to changing times. Islamic education institutions must continue to innovate, including institutional innovation and management, curriculum innovation, learning innovation, innovation of learning facilities and infrastructure, and innovation by educators and education staff. 4) effectiveness and efficiency is the estuary of the management process.

Abstract

Abstract. This study attempts to ascertain the following: (1) The impact of transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; (2) The impact of ability on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; (3) The impact of motivation on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah; and (4) The impact of ability, motivation, and transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at the Langkat Regency State Madrasah Aliyah. This study used an ex post facto model and was quantitative in nature. The population under investigation consisted of 210 individuals, and the sample size consisted of 136 respondents who were selected using the Krejcie & Morgan formula or table. The study's findings indicate that: (1) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, transformational leadership (X1) has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.021, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that transformational leadership affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 2.317, indicating that transformational leadership has a considerable impact on teacher performance (t-statistic value > 1.96). In other words, whether leadership is transformative. The better a leader demonstrates in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, the more likely it is that teachers will perform better in fulfilling their ooko k responsibilities; At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, ability (X2) has a positive and substantial effect on teacher performance (Y) with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that ability affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a t-statistic value of 4.092, indicating that it is more than 1.96. This implies that instructors will be able to carry out their tasks in accordance with their capacities given their current set of skills, which will impact the enhancement of teacher performance; (3) At Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Langkat Regency, motivation (X3) has a positive and substantial impact on teacher performance (Y), with a p value of 0.000, where the value is less than 0.05, indicating that motivation affects performance. In the meanwhile, the test yielded a result of 5.771 for the t-statistic, meaning that it is more than 1.96. This implies that a teacher's performance increases with the degree to which they use work incentive.Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Ability, Motivation and Teacher Performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the performance of certified teachers at Budi Satrya High School with a focus on evaluating teaching quality, interaction with students, and contribution to student learning. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, this research is included in the category of descriptive research or exploratory study. This research uses qualitative techniques involving school principals and certified teachers. Data was collected through school observations, interviews with teachers, and analysis of related documents. The research results show that the role of the principal in improving the performance of certified teachers at Budi Satrya High School is by providing motivation, providing supervision to teachers, establishing effective communication and increasing collaboration between certified and non-certified teachers. Furthermore, there are strategies for certified teachers in improving their performance at Budi Satrya High School, namely certified teachers plan quality learning, certified teachers also integrate technology into the learning process and finally certified teachers support every academic and non-academic activity at Budi Satrya High School to further improve their performance.Keywords : Teacher Performance; Certification
