Abstract

In Javanese society, there are several traditions that initiate the marriage process. One of them is the Pathet Gunem tradition carried out by the people of Banowan Village. This research aims to find out how the Pathet Gunem tradition proceeds, what the goals of the Pathet Gunem tradition are and how the Islamic legal perspective views the Pathet Gunem tradition. The research uses a qualitative approach, the data sources used in the research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews with various informants, while secondary data was in the form of al-qur’an, of laws and articles. The research results show that Pathet Gunem is the final result of deciding on a word, usually done a month or several months before the wedding. Pathet Gunem is a deliberation between the parents of the man and woman to discuss wedding preparations, with the aim of getting clarity on the day, date, time, place and other things related to the wedding day event. The aim and benefits for both families are to avoid misunderstandings between the two parties and for the two families to get to know each other. From an Islamic legal perspective, the Pathet Gunem tradition does not require a marriage to be valid. Pathet Gunem is a Javanese wedding tradition, not the main requirement for marriage.

Abstract

Corn is a commodity used to meet food needs, raw materials for the feed industry, and other needs, such as alternative fuels (biofuels) and polymers, so its production is expected to continue to increase. Corn productivity is thought to be able to be increased through the role of farmer groups. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of corn farmer groups and determine the amount of farming income in those groups. The study was conducted in Kemelak Bindung Langit Village, East Baturaja. The research method used was the survey method. The research sample was taken using the census method, namely farmers who are members of three corn farmer groups, from 27 existing farmer groups. The total number of samples from the three farmer groups was 79 farmers. The results of the study showed that corn farmer groups in Kemelak Bindung Langit Village were not effective in their function as providers of corn production facilities, as a medium for transferring knowledge, or as a place to market production results. In terms of income, corn farming in Kemelak Bindung Langit Village generated an income of IDR 11,355,498.00 per planting season

Abstract

Positive self-esteem among young people, combined with social support through social media interactions, provides a significant emotional boost. However, the risk of social comparison remains a challenge that needs to be addressed. This article discusses that adolescents who are exposed to fashion content that emphasizes certain beauty standards tend to have a negative body image and lack self-confidence. In addition, actively participating in digital fashion trends is also an important factor in increasing adolescents' self-confidence. This research is a qualitative research through an interview process. The results show that digital fashion content increases teens' self-awareness, inspiring them to try new styles. However, it also pressures them to conform to unrealistic beauty standards, thus affecting their self-image and confidence. Active participation in digital fashion trends and digital fashion communities boosts teens' self-confidence. Social validation and relationships with like-minded individuals boost self-esteem. Online groups and forums provide emotional support, helping teens find their unique style.

Abstract

Poverty is defined as a condition in which a person or group of people are unable to fulfill their fundamental rights to live a life of dignity. Poverty is a very important money issue for Papua province. The purpose of this study is to categorize regions of residence in Papua province based on poverty indicators. The data used is the time series March 2021-March 2022, including the percentage of poor people, poverty severity index, and poverty depth index. Methods This research uses quantitative secondary data that has been previously collected by the Central Bureau of Statistics. The data collected is data on the poverty rate in Papua province in the period 2021 to 2022. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the areas of residence in Papua province with the largest percentage of poor people, poverty depth index (P1), and poverty severity index (P2) are in rural areas with a percentage level of 52.39%; 8.474; 2.914 in March 2022. Meanwhile, the areas of residence in Papua province with the lowest percentage of poor people, poverty depth index (P1), and poverty severity index (P2) are in urban areas with a percentage level of 5.02%; 0.526; 0.112 respectively.

Abstract

In the Covid-19 pandemic situation, learning that requires practice and habituation patterns such as prayer is experiencing obstacles. Teachers and parents also have problems finding the right learning media so that children's prayer understanding is better. Preliminary study obtained data on the ability of elementary school children in Class I is still far from the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) when online learning is implemented since the child enters school. This research used classroom action research, which aims to describe 1)how to apply prayer audio visual media, and 2) how is the student's understanding of prayer which includes aspects of the ability to recite prayer readings and pray according to the sequence of prayer movements. The research subjects were 18 students of class I, with the researcher as a class teacher and the principal as an expert observer and assessor. Methods of data collection using observation and interview. The instrument consists of media assessment by experts, teacher observation instruments and student abilities. The data analysis used is narrative-qualitative, which describes the findings obtained in the implementation of the action in the form of diagrams and tables. The results of the action after using audio-visual media, students' understanding experienced an increase in prayer readings from 11% which was good to 95% good, and movement ability from 6% to 94%. The conclusion is that the use of audio-visual media in online learning can improve students' understanding of prayer on the ability to read and perform movements in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet SAW.

Abstract

Technological advances have had a significant impact on various aspects of research and scientific writing, including the paraphrasing process. Paraphrasing is an important technique in academics to convey information from other sources in a different language without changing the original meaning. Artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP)-based technologies have introduced various automatic paraphrasing tools that help writers improve originality and avoid plagiarism. This article discusses various types of paraphrasing technology, their benefits in academia, and the challenges faced in their use. The results of the study show that the use of paraphrasing technology can improve efficiency and accuracy in scientific writing, but still requires human evaluation to ensure academic quality and integrity. With the right use of technology, paraphrasing in scientific writing can be more effective and ethical.

Abstract

Potret pendidikan di daerah perbatasan Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun masih tetap dihadapkan dengan masalah yang sama yaitu kesenjangan pendidikan. Kesenjangan ter-sebut diakibatkan oleh pembangunan infrastruktur dan pemerataan tenaga pendidik yang tidak berjalan semestinya dan cenderung tidak ada perbaikan. Hal ini ditandai dengan masih sulitnya akses layanan pendidikan terkhusus di daerah-daerah 3T (Terde-pan, Terluar dan Tertinggal). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Dengan mem-bandingkan literatur-literatur yang ada sebelumnya. Data yang ada dianalisis menggunakan kajian pustaka. Hasil riset ini adalah pemberian solusi dengan program education for sustainable development (esd) sebagai upaya pemerataan pendidikan berkelanjutan di daerah 3T. Program ini memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan pemerataan pendidikan di Indonesia. Program ini memiliki kurikulum yang disesuaikan dengan potensi daerah 3T, pendidik yang dibekali dengan keahlian khusus sesuai daerah 3T, sistem pendidikan yang menuntut kreatifitas pengajar dan masyarakat setempat, kesejahteraan pendidik yang lebih ditingkatkan daripada pendidik di daerah perkotaan, dan penyediaan insfrastruktur yang memadai serta menciptakan suasana kekeluargaan antar pendidik di daerah 3T. Dengan adanya program dan penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi permasalahan kesenjangan pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Disobedient Injectable family planning acceptors are one of the causes of the decline in the number of family planning acceptors on the time of the covid 19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to find out Differences in adherence to DMPA injection family planning acceptor visits schedule pandemic Covid 19 and time new normal. Design study that is study comparative descriptive with a retrospective approach. The analytical test used is the chi square test, the instrument in the study This is the respondent's medical record in the form of a family planning cohort. This research uses 67 respondents were taken with the technique systematic random sampling. Results research out of 67 respondents, most of the respondents are not obedient in doing return visit to COVID 19 pandemic that is as many as 18 respondents and there is 9 respondents who are not obedient in making repeat visits in the new normal. This indicates a decrease in the incidence DMPA injection family planning acceptors are not obedient in making repeat visits to patients the new normal period compared to the COVID 19 pandemic. Conclusion Based on the chi square statistical test, it was found that the p value was 0.019. There were 18 respondents who did not comply during the Covid 19 pandemic, 15 were obedient during the Covid 19 pandemic. Meanwhile, during the new normal period , 25 respondents were obedient in making repeat visits and 9 were not obedient in making repeat visits.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pembenihan ikan gurami (Osphronemus gourami Lac) di Desa Sawah Baru, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Desa ini memiliki potensi besar dalam budidaya ikan gurami, namun masih menghadapi beberapa kendala seperti produksi telur yang rendah dan tingkat kematangan gonad yang tidak merata. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini melibatkan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dan Participatory Technology Development, dengan melibatkan masyarakat setempat dan menggunakan teknologi tepat guna. Kegiatan mencakup pengayaan pakan dengan vitamin E, persiapan kolam terpal, seleksi induk, teknik penyuntikkan ikan gurami, pemijahan, penghitungan telur, dan pendederan benih. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan hormon Oodev dalam pemijahan ikan gurami dapat meningkatkan produksi telur yang tidak terbuahi secara signifikan. Dalam perbandingan dengan pemijahan alami dengan pengayaan vitamin E, pemijahan dengan Oodev menghasilkan lebih banyak telur yang tidak terbuahi. Hal ini memberikan potensi peningkatan produksi benih ikan gurami di wilayah tersebut. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan produksi benih ikan gurami di Desa Sawah Baru dan sekitarnya, serta mendukung usaha perikanan lokal. Dengan demikian, budidaya ikan gurami dapat menjadi salah satu komoditas unggulan dalam pengembangan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Sawah Baru.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant global health concern, with the immune response involving key roles for monocytes and neutrophils. Analysis of immune cells, such as monocytes and neutrophils, is crucial for understanding the host response to TB infection and for monitoring treatment effectiveness. This cross-sectional study analyzed the distribution of monocyte and neutrophil counts among 17 pulmonary TB patients in Puskesmas Wonorejo Samarinda from January-April 2024. The collected data were analyzed descriptively. Results showed that 64.70% of patients had elevated monocyte counts, while 35.30% had normal monocyte levels. For neutrophils, 41.20% of patients had normal counts, 17.60% had increased counts, and 41.20% had decreased counts. The predominance of monocyte elevation and the heterogeneous neutrophil response underscore the importance of these cells as potential biomarkers for TB monitoring and prognosis. Strengthening the use of these parameters may improve clinical management and outcomes for TB patients.
