Abstract

The productive age population in Indonesia in 2022 will reach 69%, with great potential for increasing economic growth. However, there is an increasing threat of mental disorders, which results in low productivity and hinders economic growth. Mental health disorders have psychologically weak conditions that need strengthening through religious guidance. Muslims believe that a religious guidance approach can help solve problems of mental health disorders. Unfortunately, they do not understand practical Islamic guidance as an effort to prevent and promote mental health disorders. This study aims to analyse the Islamic religious guidance approach for mental health disorders. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach. The data collection strategy was sourced from seven published Scopus-indexed journal literature in 2018-2023 using the keywords "Islamic religion and mental health". The study found practical variations of Islamic religious guidance for mental health disorders, including religious lectures, Al-Quran therapy, prayer therapy, psycho-spiritual therapy, therapy for majelis taklim activities, zikir and shalawat therapy, tawba and istighfar therapy. The practical implications of research with Islamic religious guidance can help treat mental health disorders gradually and sustainably.

Abstract

The hospital is one of the workplaces that has a high risk of danger that can cause accidents or work-related illnesses. The application of OSH culture in hospitals is needed to minimize incidents of accidents and work-related illnesses by hospital standards or targets to achieve zero accidents. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out the determinants of implementing OSH culture at RSIA Bunda Ciputat in 2022. This quantitative observational study used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 118 workers, which was carried out in December 2022 at RSIA Bunda Ciputat. Data analysis with logistic regression (=0.05). The application of OSH culture at RSIA Bunda Ciputat is not optimal; only 40.7% of respondents applied well, and 59.3% did not do well. Leadership and attitude simultaneously affect the application of OSH culture after being controlled by perception and action variables (p = 0.00). The most dominant factor in implementing OSH culture is leadership (p = 0.011, B = 1.999, OR = 3.001). There are 4 factors (leadership, attitude, perception, and action) that influence the application of OSH culture at RSIA Bunda Ciputat, and 2 factors, including perception and action, are confounding factors. Suggestion: One of the strategies needed to increase the application of an occupational health and safety culture in hospitals is to optimize the functions of the occupational health and safety committee, supervision, and training related to worker health and safety.

Abstract

Coverage of under-five weighing in Indonesia has decreased from 80.8% in 2014 to 73.0% in 2015 (Ministry of Health RI, 2015). The target indicator for the percentage of districts/cities implementing active posyandu coaching in 2020 is 51%, but the results obtained by data as of January 23, 2021, are only 6%. When compared to the 2020 target, the percentage of districts/cities implementing active Posyandu training is 11.76%. This illustrates that there is still a difference of 88.24% from the indicator target that has not been met in 2021. The number of urban districts that have met the indicator criteria is 32 urban districts. This study uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional research design, in which all variables, both dependent and independent, will be examined at one time and simultaneously to see whether there is a relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variables from factors related to the behavior of visiting mothers under five to the posyandu in RW 04 Cempaka Putih Village, South Tangerang City. The results obtained from this study were that there were 4 variable relationships with maternal behavioral visits to posyandu from the 8 variables studied. The education variable with a p-value of 0.007 states that there is no relationship, but has an OR value of 8.360 (1.971-35.461) which states that there is a relationship in substance. The knowledge variable has a relationship with a p value of 0.000. The family support variable also has a relationship with a p value of 0.000 and the last is the variable support for health workers which states that there is a relationship with the behavior of mothers visiting the posyandu with a p value of 0.002.

Abstract

Dehydration is a common side effect of diarrhea, which can have major repercussions if left untreated. When it comes to nutrition and health, toddlers are a particularly sensitive age group. Diarrhea is common in the residential area next to the landfill because of contaminated water sources and inadequate sanitation. This study used a cross-sectional, quantitative research methodology to identify the risk factors for diarrhea in children aged 12 to 59 months at the Ciketing Udik Health Center in Bekasi City in 2022. moms of toddlers in Pomegranate Posyandu 1–5 at the Ciketing Udik Health Center in Bekasi City comprised the study's population, and there were 98 moms in all. This was obtained by the use of stratified sampling. The findings demonstrated that maternal knowledge P-value (0.001), hand washing behavior P-value (0.013), mother's habit of purchasing food outside P-value (0.046), and compliance with zinc tablet administration P-value (0.016) were the factors most significantly linked to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers aged 1–5 years at Puskesmas Ciketing Udik Bekasi City. These findings suggest that the occurrence of diarrhea in toddlers is correlated with maternal education, hand-washing practices, eating-out behaviors, and adherence to zinc tablet delivery. In order to prevent diarrhea, moms of young children might take precautions as soon as feasible.

Abstract

The symptoms of a condition called dysmenorrhea include severe, painful cramps and lower abdominal cramping sensations. Primary dysmenorrhea is 72.89% common in Indonesia, but dysmenorrhea prevalence varies from 45% to 95% in women of reproductive age. It has been determined through research at SMAN 1 Tambun Utara that dysmenorrhea affects up to 65% of students with abnormal nutritional status and 39.3% of students with normal nutritional status. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea in SMAN 1 Tambun Utara students is related to their nutritional status and level of physical activity. A cross-sectional study design and quantitative analysis techniques were used in the investigation. 95 students made up the sample, which was chosen using the stratified random sampling technique. Two phases of data analysis—univariate and bivariate analysis—were used. The kai squared test with α = 0.05 was used to examine the data. The findings demonstrated a correlation between the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea and both physical activity (p-value = 0.000) and nutritional status (p-value = 0.000). The findings of this study suggest a relationship between the occurrence of primary dysmenorrhea and physical activity and nutritional status. A balanced and nutritious diet, regular weight checks, regular exercise, and abstaining from unhealthy behaviors that can lead to primary dysmenorrhea are all healthy lifestyle choices that students aspire to.
