Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, supervision program management, and inter-agency coordination on the effectiveness of the supervisory function of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in the agricultural sector. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 60 respondents of Expert Personnel of Commission IV of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study show that leadership style, supervision program management, and inter-agency coordination have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of the supervisory function, both partially and simultaneously. In addition, leadership style is the most dominant variable in increasing the effectiveness of the supervisory function. This study confirms that the effectiveness of legislative oversight is not only determined by formal authority but also by the internal capacity of institutions, particularly in aspects of leadership, program management, and coordination. Therefore, strengthening these three aspects is important in improving the quality of the supervisory function of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work commitment and work environment on work-life balance with employee engagement as a mediating variable among employees of the Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis (ITB) Nobel Indonesia Makassar. The research is motivated by the importance of maintaining a balance between job demands and personal life in private higher education institutions, where employees often face heavy administrative workloads and academic service responsibilities. The study employs a quantitative research method with an explanatory approach. The population consists of 74 employees, all of whom were involved as respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the SmartPLS program. The research findings indicate that work commitment and work environment have a positive and significant effect on both work-life balance and employee engagement. Employee engagement also shows a positive effect on work-life balance and partially mediates the relationship between work commitment and work environment with work-life balance. These results highlight that employees’ work-life balance is influenced not only by internal factors such as commitment, but also by supportive work environments and the level of employee involvement in their work roles. Practically, this study recommends that ITB Nobel Indonesia strengthen employee work commitment, create a more conducive work environment, and enhance employee engagement to improve overall employee well-being and productivity.

Abstract

College competition, which is dominated by the state college, is very tight when it comes to improving the quality of educational products for the sake of student recruitment. Meanwhile, not many private college students promote and recommend their colleges to others. This study aims to analyze the effect of educational products on student loyalty, either directly or indirectly through the student satisfaction variable. This type of research is a survey with a quantitative approach. The research population was all students of the Makassar LP3I Polytechnic, totaling 1,246 students. The research sample consisted of 93 students, who were determined through a proportional random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, path analysis, and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that educational products had a positive and significant effect both directly on student loyalty and indirectly through student satisfaction. This research has implications for the need for study program products that meet the standards of community needs and government demands. Efforts to meet these standards will encourage tertiary colleges to provide excellent service for student satisfaction so that they remain loyal.

Results and Discussion: Before the intervention, only 23% of partners had a digital business account, and 26% kept financial records. The activities were implemented in phases, ranging from outreach to monitoring. The results showed significant improvements: digital account ownership rose to 83%, understanding of promotional content to 78%, financial record-keeping to 80%, and financial segregation to 76%.
