Abstract

This study aims to analyze mathematics anxiety as a significant psychological phenomenon among students at various educational levels and cultures. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach and bibliometric analysis, this study identifies research trends, causal factors, impacts, and intervention strategies related to mathematics anxiety. The results indicate that mathematics anxiety negatively impacts the quality of students' learning and career choices. There has been a significant increase in publications since 2010, especially from countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States, indicating that this issue is receiving increasing attention. Various factors, including the role of teachers and cultural context, contribute to the development of mathematics anxiety, while interventions such as collaborative learning and the use of digital technology are effective in reducing this anxiety. The conclusions of this study emphasize the importance of designing educational programs that are sensitive to students' psychological aspects, with the hope of improving the quality of mathematics education and supporting students in their learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe father involvement in the education of children with special needs based on findings from previous research. This review employs a library research method by examining five scholarly articles from reputable journals that discuss the role of fathers in the educational context of children with autism, developmental delays, and hearing impairments. The analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques to identify patterns of involvement, barriers, and supporting factors influencing fathers’ roles in the education of children with special needs.The findings reveal that fathers play an essential role through two primary forms of involvement: direct involvement, such as assisting with learning activities, attending school meetings, and participating in intervention programs; and indirect involvement, including managing educational administration and coordinating with schools. Common barriers include work-related demands, limited knowledge about special needs, cultural constructions of masculinity, and the phenomenon of maternal gatekeeping. Nevertheless, father involvement has been shown to enhance children’s cognitive, socio-emotional, and academic development, as well as strengthen overall family well-being.In conclusion, father involvement is a critical component in the success of education for children with special needs, yet it still requires systemic support through parent education, inclusive policies, and improved collaboration between families and schools.

Abstract

Mahasiswa tingkat akhir menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir, khususnya skripsi. Tantangan ini sering kali disebabkan oleh tekanan akademik, tuntutan keluarga, kendala personal, serta keterbatasan kemampuan belajar. Academic hardiness dan self regulated learning menjadi aspek krusial untuk mengatasi tantangan ini. Kajian ini bermaksud guna mengidentifikasi korelasi self regulated learning dengan academic hardiness pada mahasiswa skripsi Fakultas Psikologi UNM. Instrumen yang diterapkan ialah skala self regulated learning dengan perolehan reliabilitas 0,928 serta skala academic hardiness dengan nilai reliabilitas 0,804. Data dianalisis menerapkan pengujian spearman rho dengan bantuan software SPPSS 27 for mac. Perolehan kajian ini dalam pengujian hipotesis menerapkan uji spearman rho dengan perolehan signifikan p = 0,000 (p<0,05), serta perolehan koefisien korelasi sejumlah 0,372 dengan koefisien positif. Dengan demikian, dapat menyimpulkan bahwasanya terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara self-regulated learning serta academic hardiness pada mahasiswa skripsi Fakultas Psikologi UNM.

Abstract

Keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung tumbuh kembang anak secara emosional, sosial, dan psikologis. Namun, tidak semua keluarga mampu menjalankan peran ini secara optimal. Perceraian dalam keluarga, dapat menjadi pemicu munculnya kenakalan remaja. Kenakalan ini mencakup berbagai perilaku menyimpang, salah satunya perilaku bullying. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok berbasis rational emotive behavior dalam menurunkan kecenderungan perilaku bullying siswa dari keluarga bercerai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksperimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Olweus Bully Questionnaire. Hasil analisis uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p=0,011, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok. Uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok eksperimen menghasilkan p=0,039, yang menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor secara signifikan, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diperoleh p=0,066, yang berarti tidak terdapat penurunan signifikan. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa konseling kelompok berbasis Rational Emotive Behavior terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada siswa dari keluarga bercerai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze indicators of marriage readiness for late adolescents in South Sulawesi. This study used a survey research design using a questionnaire. The research subjects were 860 adolescents aged 15-20 years who came from various levels of education, namely SMA (46.1%) SMK (4%) and undergraduate students (45.5%). The results showed that there are several indicators of marriage readiness in late adolescence. They are (1) economic stability by 51% (2) high education by 22.5%, (3) character adjustment with a partner by 35.6%, (4) parental consent by 26%. In terms of readiness for marriage, about 65.6% of adolescents stated they were not ready to marry, 23.6% were less ready to marry, 5.5% were quite ready, 5.1% were ready, and only 2.5% of them stated they were very ready to marry. In terms of the preparation needed to live a harmonious marriage, (1) communication skills by 59.9%, (2) skills in educating and caring for children 47.9%, (3) work 46.7%, and (4) emotional management 34.5%. While the things that concern adolescents from marriage are 67.5% infidelity, 60.9% being abused, dumped/ignored 45.3%, economically pressured 40.1%, and 29.8% not getting freedom. The implication of this study is to increase the knowledge of related parties, both parents, the community, and the government regarding the description of marriage readiness in late adolescence as material for providing premarital preparation/premarital education to adolescents so that late teens can prepare themselves to fulfill early adult development, namely choosing a partner and marry.

Abstract

Inisiatif adalah salah satu aspek yang dibutuhkan oleh para mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan diri. Namun, inisiatif perlu dibarengi dengan perilaku yang disengaja guna pertumbuhan diri dapat tercapai. Personal growth initiative (PGI) adalah keterlibatan aktif dan disengaja yang dilakukan individu guna mencapai sebuah pertumbuhan diri. Adanya personal growth initiative pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, dapat membantu dalam usaha mengembangkan diri agar tugas akhir dapat segera diselesaikan. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi personal growth initiative yaitu self-efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dengan personal growth initiative pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Makassar yang sedang dalam tahap pengerjaan proposal dan skripsi sebagai upaya untuk dapat menyelesaikan pendidikan tingginya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 219 mahasiswa. Skala yang digunakan adalah Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II dan General Self-efficacy Scale-2. Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman Rho menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan self-efficacy dengan personal growth initiative dengan nilai signifikansi (r = 0,0563; p = 0,000). Self-efficacy memberikan sumbangsih 31,6% terhadap personal growth initiative. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu memberikan gambaran self-efficacy dan personal growth initiative pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir.

Abstract

Perempuan memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kualitas sumber daya manusia, khususnya melalui perannya sebagai ibu dalam keluarga. Namun, tuntutan peran ganda dan tekanan sosial di era digital berpotensi memengaruhi kualitas pengasuhan dan kesejahteraan psikologis ibu. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran perempuan dalam pengasuhan anak melalui seminar “Perempuan Berdaya dan Berkarya: Menjadi Ibu Hebat, Anak Sehat Berprestasi”. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif-edukatif melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan refleksi diri. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 19 Desember 2025 dengan melibatkan perempuan, khususnya ibu, sebagai peserta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait pola asuh yang efektif, pentingnya kesehatan anak, serta peran ibu dalam mendukung prestasi akademik anak. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran terhadap pentingnya self-care dan manajemen peran ganda. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak pada aspek kognitif, tetapi juga afektif dan perilaku peserta. Dengan demikian, seminar ini efektif sebagai upaya pemberdayaan perempuan dan berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pengasuhan serta perkembangan anak secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Adolescents are an age group that is prone to experiencing emotional instability due to academic pressure, social demands, interpersonal conflicts, and changes in psychological development. These conditions can have an impact on learning concentration, social relationships, and adolescent mental health, so simple strategies are needed to help regulate emotions. One technique that can be used is square breathing, which is a structured breathing exercise through the pattern of breathing, holding the breath, exhaling, and holding again in the same count. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and regulation skills of adolescents through training in square breathing techniques. The implementation method uses a psychological education approach based on participatory training which was attended by 25 school-age adolescents. Activities include pre-tests, delivery of materials on mental health and emotional regulation, demonstration of square breathing techniques, hands-on practice, and post-tests. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in the average score of participants from 6 in the pre-test to 11 in the post-test or an increase of 83.33%. In addition, participants reported feeling more relaxed, calm, and focused after the exercise. The square breathing technique is considered effective as a simple strategy to help adolescents improve emotional regulation and reduce psychological tension.

Abstract

Tekanan psikologis yang dialami mahasiswa saat menghadapi berbagai tuntunan di dunia pendidikan dikenal sebagai stres akademik, terutama bagi mahasiswa akhir yang sedang menyelesaikan skripsi. Dalam tahap ini, mahasiswa diharuskan untuk bersikap mandiri, memenuhi target penyelesaian studi, serta kompleksitas tugas akademik berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif pada kondisi fisik, psikologis, dan performa akademik mahasiswa. Tinggi rendahnya stres akademik dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang berasal dari internal dan eksternal individu, di antaranya academic hardiness dan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mengetahui pengaruh academic hardiness dan dukungan sosial terhadap stres akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Makassar. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 300 mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi, diperoleh melalui teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala academic hardiness, dukungan sosial, dan stres akademik, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa academic hardiness dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap stres akademik, dengan academic hardiness memiliki kontribusi yang lebih besar. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan ketangguhan akademik dan dukungan sosial dalam menurunkan stres akademik di kalangan mahasiswa tingkat akhir.

Abstract

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a pedagogical framework aimed at ensuring equitable access to learning; however, its application in nonformal public learning events, such as exhibitions in Indonesian higher education, remains limited. This study employed a descriptive qualitative design to evaluate the implementation of UDL principles in a photovoice exhibition involving students with disabilities, guided by the UDL Guidelines 3.0. Data were collected from 27 respondents, including participants with disabilities, visitors (students, lecturers, and disability communities), and were complemented by organizers’ observational notes. Data analysis involved coding participant feedback, mapping findings onto the three core UDL principles (engagement, representation, and action and expression), and identifying accessibility gaps. The findings indicate that while the exhibition fostered a warm atmosphere and incorporated visual–narrative multimodality, significant barriers persisted. In terms of engagement, challenges included overcrowded space, inadequate acoustics, and speaking pace misaligned with sign language interpretation. Regarding representation, accessibility was constrained by small text size, limited audio descriptions, and unclear panel sequencing. For action and expression, cross-disability interaction remained limited due to the placement of assistants outside the main room and mobility barriers. These results suggest that UDL implementation in exhibition settings remains partial, highlighting the need for more inclusive public event design through user-centered planning and comprehensive integration of UDL principles. This study implies that the implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in public exhibitions requires more systematic accessibility planning, including accessible communication, spatial design, and cross-disability participation support to ensure equitable learning experiences for individuals with diverse disabilities.
