Abstract

The purpose of this study is to influence the use of a scientific approach to student learning outcomes in science learning in SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit, Pauh District, Padang. This research is an experimental research type Quasi Experimental Design with the design of The Static Comparison: Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all students in grade IV semester II SD Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit District Pauh which consisted of 2 classes totaling 47 people. Based on the data analysis, the results of testing of the data from the sample class are normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, hypothesis testing was done by t-test showing tcount = 2.464 and ttable = 1.677 with db = 47 (n1 + n2–2 = 24 + 25-2 = 47) and a significant level of 5%. Based on the t-test> t table (2,464> 1,677) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, with the conclusion that "student learning outcomes that use a scientific approach are better than student learning outcomes without using a scientific approach to student learning outcomes in science learning in grade IV elementary school Negeri 10 Lambung Bukit District Pauh ".

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Berbasis Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 19 Baringin Kota Padang Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan datanya yaitu: instrument validasi berupa lembar validasi bahan ajar. Instrumen praktikalitas berupa angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa, instrument keefektifan berupa lembar test hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dihasilkan bahan ajar tematik terpadu berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan dengan nilai rata-rata 4,6 yang termasuk pada kategori sangat valid, (2) Praktikalitas penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan tingkat kepraktisan mencapai 3,2 pada kategori praktis, dan angket respon peserta didik setelah menggunakan bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan dengan tingkat kepraktisan 3,57 pada kategori sangat praktis dan (3) Efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar tematik terpadu berbasis model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan kategori sangat baik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pembinaan karakter disiplin siswa berbasis nilai religius faktor penghambat dan pendukung serta peran orang tua dan masyarakat dalam membina karakter disiplin di SDIT Syahiral Ilmi Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel atau sumber data pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara puposive dan untuk ukuran sampel tersebut ditentukan secara snowball, taknik pengumpulan dengan triangulasi (gabungan), analisa data bersifat kualitatif dan hasil penelitian menekankan makna generalisasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDIT Syahiral Ilmi dikarenakan pada sekolah ini termasuk salah satu sekolah yang memilki reputasi baik di kota Bukittinggi.Hasil penelitaian menunjukkan bahwa SDIT Syahiral Ilmu sudah berupaya emnerapakan pendidikan berbasis karakter dengan penerapan secara religius. Sekolah menerapkan berbagai strategi terencana dalam penerapan disiplin. Dalam pelaksanaan penerapan disiplin barbasis terdapat faktor yang mempengarui berupa faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat. Hasil dari pelaksanaan penerapan karakter berbasis disiplin pada SDIT Syahiral Ilmi ditemui bahwa pada diri siswa sudah terbiasa melaksanakan disiplin

Abstract

Masih banyak siswa kelas VI SDN 05 Pasar Tiku yang belum mencapai KKM sehingga ini menjadi alasan untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatka hasil belajar adalah dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan design penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VI SDN 05 Pasar Tiku. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah skor angket motivasi belajar dan hasil tes yang didapat melalui pretest dan posttest, angket dalam bentuk pernyataan dan soal dalam bentuk objektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang hanya menggunakan metode konvensional. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari nilai rata-rata nilai pretest hasil belajar kelas ekperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol Begitu juga dengan nilai rata-rata posttest hasil belajar kelas ekperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas control. Dari hasil uji hipotesis pretest dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh bahwa thitung>ttabel= 8,9341>1,7056. Begitupun dengan hasil hasil uji hipotesis postestt dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh bahwa thitung>ttabel= 9,92684>1,7056. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TPS berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI SDN 05 Pasar Tiku.

Abstract

The distribution of School Operational Assistance (SOA) funds by the government has so far not been able to fully overcome existing education problems. Ironically, the misuse and ineffective allocation of SOA funds adds to new problems. To prevent ineffective use of SOA funds, school principals are required to be competent as managers in the process of planning, organizing, determining direction, monitoring, and providing information in the form of financial reports. The method used in this research is literature study, namely the collection and analysis of information published in books and journals that are relevant and support the research topic and other written sources. Financial management in an educational institution aims to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of financial use, increase financial accountability and transparency, and reduce misuse of the education budget. To achieve effective results, the application of management principles in managing SOA funds is very important, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. Technical guidelines for the use of regular SOA funds must be carried out based on the principles of flexibility, effectiveness, efficiency, accountability, and transparency. Therefore, applying management principles in managing SOA funds is a crucial step to ensure that these funds are used optimally and on target to support improving the quality of education.

Abstract

The decline in the quality of education is caused by various factors, including unprofessional educational supervision, limitations in learning activities, and the practice of corruption, collusion, and nepotism. Ineffective supervision results in a gap between supervisors and teachers, so that the quality of learning is not optimal. In addition, the practice of cheating in national exams which is still rampant is also a serious concern. To overcome this problem, hard work is needed from educational thinkers and practitioners to improve the quality of education through professional supervision and breaking the chain of corruption. This study aims to identify problems in the education system in Indonesia and emphasize the importance of supervision in improving the quality of education. The research method used is a literature study, with analysis of various secondary data sources such as books and journals. The results of the study indicate that effective supervision can improve the quality of the learning process and learning environment, so there needs to be a focus on improving teacher skills through professional guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principals' supportive leadership and teachers' achievement motivation on the innovative behaviors of teachers at Junior High School (JHS) IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan Regency. A library research methodology was employed to systematically analyze data from scholarly sources such as peer-reviewed journals and academic books. The findings reveal that supportive leadership by principals, characterized by trust-building, constructive feedback, and encouragement of experimentation, creates an environment conducive to innovation. Simultaneously, teachers with high achievement motivation demonstrate a proactive drive to adopt new teaching practices, engage in professional development, and collaborate in learning communities, accelerating educational innovation. The synergy between these factors significantly enhances teachers' creativity and positively impacts student learning outcomes. This study concludes that fostering innovation in schools requires an integrated approach that empowers principals through leadership training and supports teachers with comprehensive professional development programs. Such initiatives can promote a positive school climate, align organizational goals with teacher motivation, and sustain long-term educational advancements.

Abstract

School administration personnel have a strategic role in providing administrative services to support the learning process at school. This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of the personality competence of school administration personnel in public high schools in Pariaman City which includes aspects of integrity and noble character, work ethic, self-control, self-confidence, flexibility, thoroughness, discipline, creativity and innovation, and responsibility. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to teachers of public high schools in Pariaman City. The results showed that overall teacher perceptions of the personality competence of school administration personnel were in the “Good” category with an average score of 4.44. Aspects of integrity and noble character obtained the “Very Good” category (4.69), while other aspects were in the “Good” category with a score range of 4.33-4.45. The implications of this study indicate the need to maintain and improve the personality competence of school administration personnel, especially in the aspect of self-control which obtained the lowest score, to optimize school administration services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba mengkategorikan guru menjadi empat kuadran: guru kurang bermutu, guru tidak terfokus, pengamat analitik, dan guru profesional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan kategori guru MI, MTs, MA berada pada kategori guru unfocused dan analytical observer, bahkan masih ada 6% diantaranya dikategorikan guru dropout. Berdasarkan analisis situasi dan permasalahan mitra teridentifikasi bahwa permasalahan umum yang terjadi adalah rendahnya kompetensi supervise dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala madrasah. Solusi yang ditawarkan dari permasalahan mitra dalam usulan ini adalah memberikan pembekalan peningkatan kompetensi supervisi. Garis besar materi pembekalan dalam usulan ini adalah supervisi instruksional dan konsep pengkategorian guru, supervisi berbasis prototipe guru untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan dasar guru untuk pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, disrupsi teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan kesiapan melakukan perubahan, e-leadership sebagai transformasi pengelolaan pendidikan yang bermutu, dan motivasi guru dan efektivitas supervisi. Rata-rata tingkat capaian skor kepala madrasah (post-test) setelah pembekalan adalah 87,52%. Maka dapat disimpulkan setelah pembekalan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasan kepala madrasah tentang supervisi berbasis prototipe guru dan inovasi sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract : A change agent is a person who is able to bring about change within his/her institution. Change agents are usually people who are confident and have an optimistic attitude, so that with that attitude a change agent can invite other members or colleagues to be able to change even he is able to bring change in his institution. In schools, change agents can be principals, teachers, students or parents. In general, the change agent in the school is the principal as a leader who is able to invite members to change because he has a high position in the school. The research method used in writing this article is a qualitative method with an observation approach and interview sources. The research was conducted to find out the agents of change that exist in SMKS Penerbangan Angkasa Nasional Padang city and how the role of these agents of change. It can be seen that the agent of change at SMKS Penerbangan Angkasa Nasional is the principal as the school leader and the changes made by the school there are 2 types of changes, namely physical and non-physical changes, the changes made in this school did not get rejection from the school community because it was considered that the changes had a good impact on the development of the school.abstrak : Agen perubahan adalah orang yang mampu membawa perubahan didalam lembaganya. Agen perubahan biasanya orang yang percaya diri dan memiliki sikap yang optimis, sehingga dengan sikapnya itu seorang agen perubahan dapat mengajak anggota lain atau rekannya untuk dapat berubah bahkan ia mampu membawa perubahan dalam lembaganya. Di sekolah agen perubahan bisa jadi kepala sekolah, guru, siswa maupun orang tua siswa. Pada umumnya agen perubahan di sekolah itu adalah kepala sekolah sebaagi pemimpin yang mampu mengaja anggota untuk dapat berubah karena ia memiliki jabatan yang tinggi di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan arikel ini adalah metode kualitatif dnegan pendekatan observasi dan interview narasumber. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui agen perubahan yang ada di SMKS Penerbangan Angkasa Nasional kota Padang dan bagaimana peranan agen perubahan tersebut. Dapat diketahui bahwa agen perubahan di SMKS Penerbangan Angkasa Nasional adalah kepala sekolah selaku pemimpin sekolah dan perubahan yang dilakukan sekolah ada 2 jenis perubahan yaitu perubahan fisik dan non fisik, perubahan yang dilakukan di sekolah ini tidak mendapatkan penolakan dari warga sekolah karena dianggap perubahan berdampak baik terhadap perkembangan sekolah.
