Abstract

Perpustakaan desa memiliki peran strategis sebagai pusat edukasi masyarakat, namun sebagian besar masih berfungsi sebatas tempat penyimpanan buku dengan koleksi terbatas dan belum memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan Perpustakaan Desa Ambalutu, Kecamatan Buntu Pane, Kabupaten Asahan, menjadi pusat edukasi berbasis digitalisasi guna meningkatkan minat baca dan literasi informasi masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif yang terdiri atas lima tahapan, yaitu survei lokasi, sosialisasi kegiatan, pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis, penerapan teknologi digital, serta pendampingan, evaluasi, dan monitoring. Sasaran kegiatan meliputi perangkat desa, kader Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK), dan masyarakat umum. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pada berbagai aspek layanan perpustakaan, antara lain perencanaan kerja berkelanjutan (skor 4,53), kepuasan pelatihan staf (4,45), pengelolaan koleksi (4,40), digitalisasi koleksi dan layanan (4,18), serta kepuasan pengguna (4,50). Digitalisasi perpustakaan berupa penerapan aplikasi katalog digital, penyediaan bahan bacaan elektronik, dan pengembangan sistem peminjaman daring terbukti meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan minat baca, khususnya di kalangan generasi muda. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil membangun kemitraan multipihak antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah desa, dan organisasi PKK yang mendukung keberlanjutan program. Model pengabdian ini berpotensi direplikasi di desa lain sebagai strategi penguatan literasi digital berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

Mathematical numeracy literacy is an essential competency for students; however, assessment results and preliminary research indicate that the numeracy literacy skills of students at SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan remain very low. This issue necessitates instructional innovation through the use of digital media and interactive learning models to facilitate meaningful conceptual understanding. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, comprising the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Kualuh Selatan with 30 eighth-grade students as subjects. Data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires, tests, and observations. Data analysis was performed using both descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this development research indicate that: validity tests placed the media in the "highly feasible" category, with ratings of 92% from media experts, 99% from subject matter experts, and 93% from language experts; practicality tests placed the media in the "highly practical" category, with ratings of 93% from teachers and 94% from students; and effectiveness tests demonstrated that the media was effective in improving students' mathematical numeracy literacy skills, evidenced by an increase in the average score from 33.33 on the pretest to 78.33 on the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.68 (67.81%), falling within the medium-to-high category. Consequently, the Problem-Based Learning-based interactive Canva media developed in this study is deemed valid, practical, and effective, making it suitable as an alternative learning medium to enhance students' mathematical numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective Mathematics Learning Module Based on Project-Based Learning Using Augmented Reality to Improve Conceptual Understanding Ability, specifically for the topic of Quadratic Equations and Functions. The research employs a development research approach with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study are 34 students from class X-12 at MAN 1 Medan. The object of this study is the Mathematics Learning Module Based on Project-Based Learning Using Augmented Reality. The instruments used include material and media validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires, and tests to assess students' mathematical conceptual understanding abilities. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The validity of the learning module, based on expert assessments of material and media, received scores of 87.41% and 82.97% respectively, categorized as very valid; (2) The practicality of the learning module, based on teacher assessments, was 93%, categorized as Very Practical, while the practicality score based on student assessments was 81%, also categorized as Very Practical; (3) The effectiveness of the learning module, measured by the classical student learning completion rate, was 97%, with an average conceptual understanding ability score of 92.65%, and the learning time used did not exceed that of normal lessons; (4) The improvement in students' Mathematical Conceptual Understanding Ability after learning using the developed Learning Module showed a significant progress, with an n-gain value in the High category, averaging 0.7.Based on the results of this study, the Module Based can be considered and categorized as valid, practical, and effective. The learning module can serve as an alternative for teachers in their teaching activities and as a guide for other researchers in developing learning modules that align with the characteristics of the application of Project-based Learning. Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the level of academic integrity among students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Asahan, in Google Classroom (GCR)-based learning, with a focus on educational communication analysis. Using a cluster-based questionnaire administered to 55 students from the Management and Digital Business study programs, four clusters were measured: (1) perceived supervision and verification of GCR-based assignments, (2) academic dishonesty behavior and tendencies, (3) social and academic pressure in assignment submission, and (4) perceptions of sanctions and enforcement. The overall mean score of 3.18 falls in the moderate category. Cluster 4 (sanctions and enforcement, mean = 3.89) scored highest, followed by Cluster 1 (supervision and verification, mean = 3.64), Cluster 2 (dishonesty behavior, mean = 2.61), and Cluster 3 (social pressure, mean = 2.57). The findings indicate that external control mechanisms play a more dominant role in shaping student compliance with academic integrity norms than internal resistance to peer pressure, and that self-report measures of dishonesty are likely affected by social desirability bias. These results imply that strengthening academic integrity in GCR-based learning requires not only technical supervision and consistent sanction enforcement, but also deliberate cultivation of an honest academic culture at the classroom level. Keywords: Academic Integrity; Google Classroom; Educational Communication; Academic Dishonesty; Higher Education   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat integritas akademik mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Asahan dalam pembelajaran berbasis Google Classroom (GCR), dengan fokus pada isu analisis komunikasi pendidikan. Menggunakan kuesioner berbasis klaster yang melibatkan 55 mahasiswa dari Program Studi Manajemen dan Bisnis Digital, penelitian ini mengukur empat klaster: (1) persepsi pengawasan dan verifikasi tugas berbasis GCR, (2) perilaku dan kecenderungan ketidakjujuran akademik, (3) tekanan sosial dan akademik dalam pengumpulan tugas, dan (4) persepsi terhadap sanksi dan penegakan aturan. Skor rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,18 berada pada kategori sedang. Klaster 4 (sanksi dan penegakan aturan, mean = 3,89) memperoleh skor tertinggi, diikuti Klaster 1 (pengawasan dan verifikasi, mean = 3,64), Klaster 2 (perilaku ketidakjujuran, mean = 2,61), dan Klaster 3 (tekanan sosial, mean = 2,57). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme kontrol eksternal berperan lebih dominan dalam membentuk kepatuhan mahasiswa terhadap norma integritas akademik dibandingkan ketahanan internal terhadap tekanan sebaya, dan bahwa pengukuran ketidakjujuran melalui self-report kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh social desirability bias. Hasil ini mengimplikasikan bahwa penguatan integritas akademik pada pembelajaran berbasis GCR memerlukan tidak hanya pengawasan teknis dan penegakan sanksi yang konsisten, tetapi juga pembentukan budaya akademik jujur secara sengaja di tingkat kelas. Abstract

Mathematics learning is important to develop from elementary school because at this stage students are developing their thinking and learning processes. This study aims to improve fifth-grade students' mathematical communication skills through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The method used is exploratory sequential mixed methods, starting with the collection and analysis of quantitative data, followed by the qualitative stage to deepen the findings. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu, North Aceh, with a sample of 21 fifth-grade students. Quantitative analysis used the N-Gain test, while qualitative analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions for students with low, medium, and high communication ability categories. The quantitative results showed an N-Gain value of 0.65, which is in the medium category. This indicates that fraction learning with the RME approach is effective in improving students' mathematical communication skills. The results of the qualitative data analysis showed that students with high and medium levels of mathematical communication skills increased their achievement on mathematical communication ability indicators after the treatment. Meanwhile, students with low communication skills did not show an increase in achievement on indicators of mathematical communication ability.   Abstrak Pembelajaran Matematika penting dikembangkan sejak sekolah dasar karena pada fase ini murid sedang membangun proses berpikir dan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis murid kelas V melalui pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Metode yang digunakan adalah exploratory sequential mixed methods, dimulai dari pengumpulan dan analisis data kuantitatif, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap kualitatif untuk memperdalam temuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu, Aceh Utara, dengan sampel 21 murid kelas V. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan uji N-Gain, sedangkan analisis kualitatif dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan pada murid dengan kategori kemampuan komunikasi rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Hasil kuantitatif menunjukkan nilai N-Gain 0,65, berada pada kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran pecahan dengan pendekatan RME efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis murid. Hasil analisis data kualitatif menunjukkan murid dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi dan sedang mengalami peningkatan ketercapaian indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis setelah adanya perlakuan. Sementara itu, murid dengan kemampuan komunikasi rendah tidak mengalami peningkatan ketercapaian indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Abstract

Teaching materials are one of the important factors that influence the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to develop student worksheets (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik or LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) that are feasible, practical, and effective. The study was conducted at SDN 105278 Tandam Hilir II. The study subjects were 22 4th-grade students. The research method employed was development research, utilizing the ADDIE development model. The research instruments were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The study's results showed that, according to the validator's validity test, the percentage of feasibility among material experts, language experts, and design experts was considered very valid. The results of the small group trial produced a percentage of very criteria. The percentage of practicality in the field test results was included as a key criterion for evaluation. Effectiveness was achieved at the field trial stage, with 22 students passing the post-test, ensuring that the gain score met the criteria for moderate effectiveness. Based on empirical observations that showed an increase in learning outcomes. This means that Student Worksheets based on PBL learning are effectively utilized in the mathematics learning process, resulting in a positive impact on student learning outcomes in grade IV of SDN 105278 Tandam Hilir II.   Abstrak Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang layak, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 105278 Tandam Hilir II. Subjek penelitian kelas IV berjumlah 22 orang peserta didik. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Adapun Instrumen penelitian yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari hasil uji validitas oleh validator persentase kelayakan ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli desain dinilai sangat valid. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil menghasilkan persentase kriteria sangat. Persentase kepraktisan hasil uji lapangan termasuk ke dalam kriteria sangat praktis. Efektivitas dicapai pada tahap uji coba lapangan dengan 22 peserta didik (100 persen) lulus post-test sehingga skor gain memenuhi kriteria efektivitas sedang. Berdasarkan observasi empiris yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. Artinya Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis pembelajaran PBL efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas IV SDN 105278 Tandam Hilir II.
