Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu usaha terencana guna mewujudkan proses pembelajaran untuk siswa mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki. Terwujudnya pelaksanaan pendidikan yang baik dan bermutu perlu adanya manajemen berbasis sekolah. Salah satunya pelaksanaan manajemen humas di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen humas SMK 3 Pancasila Ambulu dengan pemangku kepentingan internal dan eksternal. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara. Hasil manajemen humas dengan pemangku kepentingan internal adalah hapir semua warga sekolah terlibat dalam pelaksanaan manajemen humas, manajemen humas dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal ialah dengan menjalin hubungan baik dan kerja sama dengan orang tua, masyarakat, pusat dan perusahaan akan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat keseimbangan antara input, proses dan output.

Abstract

Hidroponik adalah metode pertanian yang tidak memanfaatkan tanah sebagai media pertumbuhan, melainkan mengandalkan air sebagai gantinya. Hidroponik NFT adalah metode penyediaan larutan nutrisi melalui aliran dangkal yang terus mengalir. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  metode  studi  literatur  atau  penelitian  kepustakaan. Konsep fisika fluida yang terdapat pada sistem hidroponik NFT yaitu, viskositas, laju aliran air, tekanan hidrostatik, hukum kontinuitas, dan hukum bernoulli. Terdapat hubungan terbalik antara suhu dan nilai viskositas cairan, yaitu semakin tinggi suhu maka nilai viskositas semakin rendah. Adapun kecepatan laju aliran yang terlalu tinggi dan lambat menyulitkan akar untuk menyerap nutrisi. Penerapan konsep Hukum Bernoulli pada sistem perpipaan salah satunya pada sistem hidroponik membuat air lebih cepat untuk mencapai titik tertinggi dari sistem perpipaan yang telah diciptakan. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to improve fourth-grade students' mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of area measurement through the use of Wordwall media at SDN Tegal Besar 02. The research was motivated by the low conceptual understanding among students, attributed to the lack of engaging and concrete instructional media. A classroom action research (CAR) design was employed, conducted over two cycles with two learning sessions per cycle. The study involved 27 students as participants. Data were collected through classroom observation and achievement tests, utilizing observation sheets and evaluation instruments. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods, including the calculation of mean scores and learning mastery percentages. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students’ average scores, from 70 in the pre-cycle to 80 in the first cycle and 89 in the second cycle. The percentage of students achieving mastery also increased markedly from 44.4% in the pre-cycle to 70.3% in the first cycle and 88.8% in the second cycle. These results indicate that the use of Wordwall media effectively supports students’ conceptual understanding, enhances active engagement, and fosters a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. Therefore, Wordwall is recommended as an effective instructional tool in teaching area measurement in elementary mathematics. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas IV SDN Tegal Besar 02 pada materi pengukuran luas melalui pemanfaatan media Wordwall. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami konsep luas akibat kurangnya media pembelajaran yang konkret dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 27 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi dan tes hasil belajar, dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi aktivitas dan soal evaluasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai peserta didik meningkat dari 70 pada pra-siklus menjadi 80 pada siklus I dan 89 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar juga meningkat secara signifikan dari 44,4% pada pra-siklus menjadi 70,3% pada siklus I dan 88,8% pada siklus II. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa media Wordwall mampu memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep secara visual, meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, Wordwall terbukti efektif sebagai media pembelajaran matematika pada materi pengukuran luas di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The quality education depends on quality of learning process. So, it was needed to know how the student initial ability. This research aimed to describe the physics students critical thinking skill and creative thinking skill about physics concept. The method was descriptive research. The research respondents were physics students of 37 person at Class A, it consists of 5 male students and of 32 female students and physics student of 35 person at Class B, it consists of 5 male students and of 30 female students which have been take thermodynamics and modern physics on odd semester, academic year 2018/2019. The research data which was collected by using test, observation and documentation. The research data was analysed by using indicator percentage and descriptive. The result showed that average of critical thinking skill was 78,65. Interpretating around 6,8 Analysing around 8,17, evaluating around 8,97, Inferensi around 8,41 and explanation ability around 6,94. The average of creative thinking skill was 78,92. Creative thinking skill was fluency was 8,09, flexibility 8,4, originality 7,58 and elaboration 7,45. Therefore, an effort needed to improve physics student critical and creative thinking skill. It can be done by using some interactive model, media and teaching material in physics learning. Beside that needed alternative solution for development learning resource on learning physics in Higher Education with another local potential context.

Abstract

The critical thinking skills of education students need further enhancement. Critical thinking can be fostered through physics instruction using the case method, which links physics concepts to real-life situations. This approach is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills. Furthermore, in line with the needs of today's learners, integrating technology is essential. Lumio by SMART offers a dynamic platform to engage students, making learning more interactive and participatory. This descriptive study aimed to analyze students' critical thinking skills and their responses to the use of Lumio by SMART. The analysis was based on critical thinking skills scores and student feedback. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills, as evidenced by the increase in post-test scores compared to pretest scores. Additionally, student responses were overwhelmingly positive. These findings suggest that the use of the case method, enhanced by Lumio by SMART, is effective in improving critical thinking skills. Thus, educators should incorporate the case method in their teaching to develop critical thinking and other cognitive skills, while leveraging technology to boost student engagement.

Abstract

The STEAMRel-PBL learning model equipped with authentic e-assessment is used in ecology and biodiversity learning to determine its influence on critical reasoning skills and the achievement of aspects of piety, especially students' morals towards nature. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the STEAMRel-PBL learning model equipped with authentic e-assessment on the achievement of students' attitude of piety, especially their morals towards nature and their ability to reason critically in ecological learning. The research design carried out was a quasi-experiment of one pretest-post-test group. The research involved 30 grade VII students. Data collection techniques were carried out using pretest-post-test instruments, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using the N-Gain formula and calculation with a Likert scale. The results showed that the N-Gain value score showed that the STEAMRel-PBL model equipped with authentic e-assessment demonstrates significant influence in the development of students' critical reasoning. All critical reasoning indicators are on the criteria of developing as expected. The dimension of faith in fear of God Almighty is assessed using a questionnaire instrument that contains moral indicators towards nature. The results of the moral assessment of students are in the criteria of developing according to expectations, with the average student achievement being 86.88. Religious values help students reflect on God's role in His creation through science, which further strengthens their piety.

Abstract

The results of the 2022 International Student Assessment (PISA) indicate that Indonesian students' creativity still requires serious attention. Therefore, this study aims to examine the implementation of differentiated PjBL learning to develop students' creative thinking skills in designing a power plant using Canva in elementary school students. This research was conducted experimentally using a "Pretest Post-test Control Design" design. The treatment was the implementation of differentiated PjBL learning with a project to design a power plant using Canva in class 4A (28 students), and the control was class 4B (28 students) with the same project but learning without differentiated PjBL. Measurement of students' creative thinking skills was carried out through pretests and post-tests covering indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results of the One-Way ANOVA analysis followed by LSD showed that the pretest between the experimental and control groups did not differ significantly. However, the post-test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The results of the Mann-Whitney analysis of all indicators of students' creative thinking abilities prove that the pretest scores between the experimental group and the control group for all indicators are not significantly different. However, the post-test scores of the experimental group for all indicators are significantly higher than the control group. It is concluded that the implementation of differentiated PjBL learning is significantly able to develop students' creative thinking abilities in designing power plants through Canva in Elementary School Students.

Abstract

Kalibaru District is an area in Banyuwangi Regency that has quite a large potential in the agricultural sector, such as Jatirono cocoa farming in Kajarharjo Village. However, the condition of the cocoa plants which tend to be dry and the fruit yields are less than optimal is one of the reasons this study was conducted. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing less than optimal growth of cocoa plants by analyzing the physical properties of the soil such as texture, bulk density, and soil permeability. The research methods used were survey methods and laboratory analysis. The soil sampling points for laboratory analysis were taken at 5 points (A, B, C, D, E) with point A as the center point, then points B and D were 50 meters from point A, while points C and E were 62.5 meters from point A. The results obtained for the texture indicators from the five sample points were sandy loam and clay, for the bulk density indicator the results were medium and high, and for the permeability indicator the results were fast and rather fast. So it can be concluded that the sandy clay texture with a more dominant percentage of sand fraction has a texture that tends to be coarse, this texture affects the bulk density of the soil where sand has a greater bulk density compared to clay, this texture also causes the soil's ability to pass water high or fast.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pemahaman guru mengenai teori humanistik dalam pendidikan, kecerdasan emosional dan moral, dan (2) mengetahui hasil implementasi teori humanistik dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional dan moral siswa. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa SD Labschool FKIP UNEJ dan 10 guru di SD Laboratorium yang bersedia menjadi bagian dari program eksperimen. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus serta pendekatan kuantitatif melalui pengukuran dampak. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebagian guru memahami mengenai teori humanistik dalam pendidikan, (2) seluruh guru memahami kecerdasan emosional dan moral serta memahami cara mengatasi emosional dan moral para siswanya, dan (3) implementasi teori humanistik berdampak yakni guru dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional dan moral pada seluruh siswa dengan baik meskipun terdapat kendala yakni masih terdapat siswa yang kurang bisa diarahkan sehingga penerapannya kurang optimal.

Abstract

Physics teachers must master the structure, concepts, scientific mindset and develop subject matter to provide broad and deep knowledge for students. Professional teachers must develop professionalism continuously through lifelong learning, one of which is to explore the essential material to increase mastery of the content of the subject matter. Physics teachers who are members of the Madrasah Aliyah Physics Teacher Consultation forum throughout Jember Regency have carried out continuous professional development, especially mastering essential physics materials. The activity implementation team, FKIP lecturers at the University of Jember, and core teachers discussed crucial physics materials. The results of this activity show that physics teachers can master the essential physics subject matter, are categorized as complex, and often lead to misconceptions. Teachers are also able to plan and carry out physics practicum. Teachers can use mastery of physics subject matter to design physics teaching materials and physics assessments to improve the quality of physics learning.
