Abstract

The research problem raised aims to find out how the process of internationalization of furniture companies is related to the Uppsala theory. This research is a case study with an object, namely the company Aida Furniture which is one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in the furniture industry. This research was conducted through a descriptive and qualitative approach. To obtain the necessary data, the authors conducted in-depth interviews with business owners from Aida Furniture. Determination of the subject is done purposively where the researcher determines the sampling by determining the special characteristics that are by the research objectives so that they are expected to be able to answer research problems. The biggest problem in the process of market internationalization is on the supply side where the government and universities are expected to be able to fill this gap by standardizing treatment in usage and other processes. In the internationalization process described, Uppsala's theory cannot be used to explain the internationalization process model at Aida Furniture. Meanwhile, the process of spreading sales areas can be explained by the Uppsala theory.

Abstract

At the end of 2019 towards the beginning of 2020, the world was shaken by a virus known as Coronavirus Disease (covid-19). The Covid-19 pandemic began in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China and then spread to 200 countries, impacting various sectors of the global economy. Fighting this virus requires strategies and policies to regulate the economy. This article describes the Indonesian Government's Policy for Preeconomic Stability During Covid-19. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in the form of literature studies or what is known as review literature. The results of this study show that although various policies carried out by the Indonesian government are appropriate, in their implementation, further steps are still needed to maintain the stability of the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the strategy and role of the government in the internationalization of MSMEs. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The type of data used in this research is qualitative data, which is divided into primary data and secondary data. Sources of data obtained through library research techniques that refer to resources available online and offline, such as: scientific journals, books, and news from trusted sources. The results showed that the internationalization strategy conceptually and theoretically can be divided into two categories, namely internationalization theory and selectivity theory. The emergence of internalization theory can threaten the existence of MSMEs due to the development of large companies in the 1970s. Furthermore, in its development, the theory seeks to internalize the benefits that can be obtained from internationalization, localization, and ownership. At the same time, the eclectic theory in the internationalization strategy places more emphasis on the resources owned by MSMEs and knowledge of the markets and networks that MSMEs choose to market their products. The steps taken by the current government by creating a special portal at INSW are appropriate, but if this is achieved not only through existing portals, but also through direct engagement with business people, including through seminars and workshops by interacting with them more often and socialize.

Abstract

Indonesia is still said to be minimal for the process of managing business performance. It is proven that financial management is still inconsistent and even not according to plan. The purpose of this study looks at the strategies used by MSME actors to improve their business performance through the finance department by involving sharing factors that fall into the category of financial system management. Judging from the factors of financial literacy, self-efficacy and financial attitude. This type of research uses bibliometric analysis. The results of the analysis looked at many MSME strategies in the financial system, researchers found that there were factors that had not been widely associated with financial attitudes. It was found that the existence of a financial attitude on business performance can shape knowledge and foster self-confidence to be able to provide financial system plans both from the past and the future. With the understanding and adjustment of the situation, it makes the financial system efficient and stable.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a measure that determines how well a company's product or service meets customer expectations. This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction MSEs in the context of a global study on Indonesian Batik Shoraya. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with 10 Shoraya Batik customers, 5 domestic and 5 international. The results showed that customer satisfaction with Shoaraya Batik Indonesia products was influenced by service quality, product quality, price, emotional factors, cost and convenience. Customers expect fast and responsive service, quality and reliable products, affordable prices, and positive emotional experiences with the Shoaraya Batik Indonesia brand. Cost and ease of transaction are also important factors influencing customer satisfaction. In a global context, Shoaraya Batik Indonesia's customers have high expectations for products that can compete with international brands. Customers expect Shoraya Batik Indonesia to maintain consistent product and service quality, as well as develop innovative products that are in line with global trends. Even though Shoaraya Batik Indonesia already has a loyal customer base in Indonesia, the challenge it faces in entering the global market is competition from established international brands. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that Shoraya Batik Indonesia continue to improve service and product quality and maintain affordable and competitive prices

Abstract

Research on MSME internationalization strategies is interesting and important in increasing global scale business growth. This study aims to analyze the five dimensions of internationalization strategy including market entry, target market strategy, time strategy, allocation strategy, and coordination strategy that supports MSME business growth in Indonesia. There have been no studies that have reviewed this topic using bibliometric analysis. Our analysis includes 180 journal articles published in Scopus, Google Scholar, and Crossref between 2018 – 2023. Researchers use VOSviewer software to classify and visualize research results. Research findings show that Indonesian MSME players combine several internationalization strategies such as market entry strategies, target market strategies, allocation strategies, and coordination strategies synergistically through e-commerce development so that they can help exploit existing competitive advantages or create new competitive advantages in the international market. Research on time strategies and allocation strategies has not been explored much, therefore this can be raised as a further research topic. The implications of this research present a bibliometric analysis of the dimensions of Indonesia's MSME internationalization strategy and propose future research directions.
