Abstract

This study explores the relationship between career advancement opportunities, work-life balance (WLB) policies, and corporate financial performance, identifying how these factors drive employee motivation and engagement to enhance organizational outcomes. A systematic review was conducted, analyzing existing literature to synthesize findings on the impact of career development and WLB policies on employee well-being, retention, and organizational performance. The review integrates relevant theories, including Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory, Human Capital Theory, Conservation of Resources Theory, and Social Exchange Theory. The study reveals clear career advancement opportunities and supportive WLB policies significantly boost employee motivation and engagement. These factors enhance job satisfaction, reduce turnover, and improve organizational performance. The findings underscore the synergistic effect of combining career development with WLB policies, creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains high-quality talent. This alignment with established theories highlights the importance of intrinsic motivators and the need for a holistic approach to human resource management. The study provides practical insights for organizations to integrate career advancement and WLB policies into their strategic planning, fostering a culture that values employee development and well-being. This approach enhances employee satisfaction and retention and strengthens the organization's competitive edge. Future research should focus on exploring these dynamics across different industries and contexts, considering cultural and regional differences to optimize the effectiveness of these strategies.

Abstract

Pada sebuah perusahaan, karyawan merupakan aset yang paling berharga karena tanpa karyawan suatu perusahaan atau organisasi akan sulit mencapai tujuannya. Pemberian kompensasi perlu ada regulasi yang baik dari perusahaan, agar dapat diterima oleh keduanya yaitu dari karyawan maupun perusahaan. Pihak perusahaan diharapkan tahu bagaimana memastikan kepuasan karyawannya. Hasilnya, perusahaan dapat mencapai tingkat kinerja yang optimal. Kepuasan kerja merupakan salah satu kunci produktivitas karyawan. Agar dapat bertahan, suatu perusahaan atau organisasi memerlukan karyawan yang positif dan termotivasi agar timbul rasa kepuasan dan loyalitas terhadap perusahaan. Data dikumpulkan dengan dengan metode kearsipan dengan studi pustaka jurnal terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 judul jurnal terkait kompensasi terhadap kepuasan dan kinerja karyawan. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kompensasi dan motivasi menimbulkan pengaruh positif yang signifikan pada kepuasan dan kinerja karyawan.

Mereka membawa percikan kreativitas dan efisiensi dan sangat penting bagi keberhasilan organisasi. Ini mencerminkan perkembangan pekerjaan individu dari waktu ke waktu, menekankan tahapan eksplorasi (mencoba peran baru), pembentukan, pemeliharaan dan penurunan, membatasi aktivitas berdasarkan tahapan perkembangan, hubungannya dengan usia kronologis individu, dan tingkat relatif dari pekerjaan. keterlibatan dan pengaruh yang terkait dengan setiap tahap. perencanaan sumber daya manusia telah dipelajari secara rinci dalam artikel ini. Penulis telah berusaha menyajikan dan menyajikan gambaran komprehensif tentang aktivitas SDM yang penting ini. Pentingnya perencanaan SDM, tujuan strategis dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dibahas dalam tinjauan literatur ini. Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu aset terpenting dalam suatu organisasi. Proses rekrutmen dan seleksi yang efektif dapat membantu organisasi menemukan orang yang tepat dengan keterampilan dan karakteristik yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Oleh karena itu, sistem rekrutmen dan seleksi sumber daya manusia telah menjadi topik utama dalam lingkup manajemen sumber daya manusia. Dampak dilaksanakannya rekrutmen dan seleksi dalam memilih sumber daya manusia dalam sebuah organisasi, yaitu : 1) Kualitas Karyawan/Sumber Daya Manusia 2) Produktivitas dan Kinerja 3) Reputasi dan Branding 4) Pergantian sumber daya manusia yang lebih cepat tanggap. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa, tahap rekrutmen dan seleksi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan reputasi organisasi.

Abstract

This research highlights the importance of work discipline in the context of businesses and organizations. Through a literature review analysis, it elucidates the role of work discipline in influencing employee productivity, operational efficiency, company culture, and product or service quality. The findings indicate that good work discipline helps reduce workplace conflicts, enhances job satisfaction, and saves the company time and resources. Thus, this research concludes that work discipline is a critical factor in achieving success and sustainable growth in the business world

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a central role in achieving organizational goals effectively and efficiently. This abstract discusses HR concepts, functions, and applications with a focus on its role in supporting organizational goals. The concept of HRM involves the strategic alignment of an organization's workforce with its mission and vision. HRM functions include recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation and employee development. HR practice applications include creating a supportive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and promoting diversity and inclusion. Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is a way for someone to show that they love their job. The reasons why someone can love their job are supported by many factors such as the work environment, salary and compensation, emotional relationships between workers, gender, etc. This attitude can also reflect work morale, discipline, and work performance. Someone will feel at home and like their job if there is something that makes them happy, be it from salary, compensation, facilities, etc. This employee job satisfaction can also not only be felt by an individual but can also be felt by others, even consumers. Although an employee's job satisfaction has many supporting factors, there are also many factors that make the employee uncomfortable in their work environment such as uncomfortable work environment, low salary, not getting bonus money, etc. This study uses quantitative research, which is conducted by analyzing several international journal sources on employee job satisfaction. It is hoped that this analysis can be used as a study material on employee job satisfaction in the future.

Abstract

Career and Professional Development are key elements in providing quality health care to patients, including those who are older and living in multiple care settings. This article reviews the importance of career planning and professional development for nurses based on the changing health care landscape. Key factors that support career planning and professional development for nurses include access to structured learning, a supportive work environment, leadership development, and career resilience. In addition, integrated career development programs in nursing curricula can have a positive impact on nursing students’ career resilience. In addition, there are differences in career planning practices between private and public hospitals, with career development practices being more sophisticated in private hospitals. This underscores the importance of career planning in nursing care and the role of nurse managers in nurses’ career development.

Abstract

This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of understanding the segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies to enhance sales volume at "Kedai Kopi Roemah Aki’q" in Surabaya. The subjects of the study include the owner, employees, and consumers. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the research findings, segmentation is focused on the northern part of Surabaya with consumers aged 17-30, including adolescents and young adults, both male and female, belonging to the lower-middle class. Their behavior includes a fondness for hanging out, socializing with friends, playing games, and completing tasks. Targeting is aimed at adolescents to young adults, both male and female, aged 17-30, utilizing social media promotion and leveraging the services of content creators. Product specialization involves offering unique and distinctive menus. Positioning adopts a vintage concept, presenting menus inspired by the past, prioritizing consumer needs and desires, providing affordable prices, and maintaining the highest quality.
