Abstract

The Implementation of the Apparatus Development Competency Training Program in 2019 is a recommendation from the results of the evaluation of the same Program as stated in the Regulation of the Head of LAN RI Number 2 of 2019 concerning ASN Competency Development Training. An indication of the new pattern in the 2019 program concept was found in the methods adopted and technically practiced by Widyaiswara who acted as the facilitator who no longer played a role in instructing and dictating certain knowledge material but rather facilitating, not teaching. Abstract

The aims of this research are (i) to reveal and explain the history of the existence of bendi in Soppeng. (ii) Describe the problems faced by bendi drivers in Soppeng. (iii) Revealing the role of the government and the community in preserving the bendi in Soppeng. In uncovering the existence of bendi in Soppeng Regency, this study uses historical research methods, namely (i) heuristics (ii) criticism (iii) interpretation (iv) historigraphy. In addition, to make it easier to understand the events under study, the authors use theoretical approaches such as (i) functional structure The results of this study indicate that, (i) the history of the existence of bendi in Indonesia which was originally only used for the nobility until finally it could be used in general by the community. (ii) Bendi in Soppeng begins with the existence of a bendi in Soppeng, knowing what it takes to become a bendi driver, types of traditional transportation in Indonesia and how the function and role of a bendi has changed from the colonial period to the modernization era, as well as the author describes the process of gradual decline in the bendi in Soppeng. (iii) regarding the preservation of the bendi carried out by the local government and the community.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (i) Mengungkapkan dan menjelaskan sejarah keberadaan bendi di Soppeng. (ii) Menjelaskan problematika yang dihadapi kusir bendi di Soppeng. (iii) Mengungkapkan bagaimana peran pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam pelestarian bendi di Soppeng. Dalam mengungkap keberadaan bendi di Kabupaten Soppeng, penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian sejarah yaitu (i)heuristik (ii) kritik (iii) interpretasi (iv) historigrafi.selian itu untuk lebih mudah memahami kejadian yang diteliti maka penulis menggunakan pendekatan teori seperti (i) struktur fungsional  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (i) sejarah keberadaan bendi di Indonesia yang pada awalnya hanya digunakan untuk para kaum bangsawan saja hingga akhirnya bisa digunakan secara umum oleh masyarakat. (ii) Bendi di Soppeng di mulai dengan keberadaaan bendi di Soppeng, mengetahui apa saja yang dibutuhkan untuk menjadi kusir bendi, jenis-jenis trasportasi tradisional yang ada di Indonesia serta bagaimana perubahan fungsi dan peran bendi dari masa kolonial hingga era modernisasi, serta penulis juga menjalaskan proses kemunduran yang berangsur-asur terjadi pada bendi di Soppeng. (iii) tentang pelestraian bendi yang di lakukan oleh pihak pemerintah daerah serta masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali akar permasalahan anak putus sekolah di daerah pesisir Kabupaten Takalar, dan mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi pendidikan di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Informan penelitian dipilih dengan cara purposive sampling sebanyak 22 orang yang terdiri dari anak putus sekolah, Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan anak putus sekolah, orang tua dan aparat desa, serta observasi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor kurangnya minat belajar, tingkat Pendidikan orangtua yang rendah, pengaruh lingkungan dan factor ekonomi masyarakat merupakan akar permasalahan anak putus sekolah pada masyarakat pesisir Desa Tamasaju. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi anak putus sekolah pada masyarakat pesisir adalah meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dengan melakukan edukasi tentang pentingnya pendidikan; memfasilitasi agar anak putus sekolah ikut pada paket A, B, C untuk mendapatkan ijazah; Pemerintah Desa memberikan bantuan operasional dalam bentuk subsidi. Studi ini merekomendasikan adanya kolaborasi antara pihak pemerintah, masyarakat, Lembaga keluarga, dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat untuk mengatasi masalah putus sekolah dan meningkatkan partisipasi pendidikan pada masyarakat pesisir Kabupaten Takalar.

Abstract

To improve student achievement, teachers must innovate in learning. This ensures that students learn at their best, both independently and in the classroom. Learning model innovation is very necessary and very urgent, especially in the development of new learning models that can lead to better learning outcomes and increase efficiency and effectiveness. In addition, teachers must develop their potential in various ways. One of them is improving the ability to write scientific papers. By conducting article writing training, teachers are expected to have dual roles as practitioners and researchers. Therefore, teachers must conduct research to solve problems that arise in class and to serve as material for promotion. The Scientific Article Writing Training for Teachers of SMA Negeri 15 Bone, Bone Regency, was carried out in Bone Regency with the target of this activity being the teachers at the school. This activity is in the form of training with an emphasis on mastery of article writing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the success of empowering fishing communities in the coastal area of Marusu District, Maros Regency. The results showed that the implementation of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency was by creating instruments that regulate the empowerment of coastal fishing communities in order to optimize the quality of the coastal environment covering social, economic and cultural aspects as well as being able to create a conducive atmosphere for the implementation of development in in order to provide access to various interests of fishing communities to optimize development in coastal areas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi  pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros adalah dengan cara membuat instrument yang mengatur pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan wilayah pesisir agar dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas lingkungan pesisir melingkupi aspek sosial, ekonomi  dan budaya serta mampu menciptakan suasana yang kondusif bagi pelaksanaan pembangunan dalam rangka memberikan akses berbagai kepentingan masyarakat nelayan untuk mengoptimalkan pembangunan di wilayah pesisir.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine the effect of performance planning on employee performance, work motivation on employee performance and the effect of performance planning and work motivation simultaneously on employee performance at KPRI UNM. Research Methods: The population of this study were all KPRI UNM employees, the research sample used the saturated sample technique so that the sample used was 33 employees. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed by descriptive percentage analysis, classical assumption test, instrument test, and hypothesis testing. Results: This study shows that performance planning partially has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level <0.05 and work motivation partially has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level <0.05. Performance planning and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level <0.05. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.532 (53.2%). This means that the influence of performance planning and work motivation on the performance of KPRI UNM employees is 53.2% while the remaining 46.8% is influenced by other factors not examined.Pendahuluan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perencanaan kinerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dan pengaruh perencanaan kinerja dan motivasi kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai di KPRI UNM. Metode Penelitian: Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai KPRI UNM, sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh sehingga sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 33 pegawai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis persentase deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji instrumen, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kinerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05 dan motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05. Perencanaan kinerja dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan tingkat signifikan < 0,05. Selain itu, koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,532 (53,2%). Artinya pengaruh perencanaan kinerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai KPRI UNM sebesar 53,2% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 46,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.Keywords:Performance Planning, Work Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mendukung meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa tingkat atas Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum khususnya mahasiswa program studi ilmu administrasi negara Universitas Negeri Makassar program studi ilmu administrasi negara pada Universitas Negeri Makassar Mahasiswa.  Mahasiswa yang memiliki motivasi akan mampu menentukan tujuan dari proses pembelajarannya di mana kuat lemahnya atau semangat tidaknya usaha yang dilakukan     seseorang untuk mencapai tujuannya ditentukan oleh kuat lemahnya motivasi yang dimiliki orang   tersebut. Diharapkan dalam proses pembelajaran,seorang dosen sedapat  mungkin membuat skenario pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dalam diri  mahasiswa. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini selain menumbuhkan motivasi belajar pada mahasiswa mata kuliah pelayanan prima juga diharapkan dapat diadopsi pada mata kuliah lain sehingga  dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa serta kompetensi dosen dalam membuat bahan ajar.Abstract. The purpose of this service activity is to support increasing the learning motivation of upper-level students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, especially students of the state administration science study program at Makassar State University, Makassar State University Students.  Students who have motivation will be able to determine the objectives of the learning process where the strength or lack of enthusiasm for the efforts made by a person to achieve their goals is determined by the strength or lack of motivation that person has. It is expected that in the learning process, a lecturer as much as possible makes learning scenarios that can foster learning motivation in students. The results of the implementation of this activity in addition to fostering learning motivation in prime service course students are also expected to be adopted in other courses so as to increase student competence and lecturer competence in making teaching materials.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase students' confidence and train their soft skills, namely public speaking. Through this PKM, it is hoped that it can be useful for students of SMPN 33 Makassar. The stages in this training are explaining materials that are closely related to public speaking, besides that the speaker will also explain the importance of communication in building relationships, and make students feel more confident. Public speaking does not only help students in increasing their self-confidence or just training soft skills but with the public speaking training conducted will help students improve their communication skills that can be used in forming relationships or communication networks, even expected in this training will also help the school to find talents that exist in students in the field of public speaking such as presenters or Master Of Ceremony (MC).

Abstract

Preparing school work plans is an important part of effective educational management. The aim of this training is to increase participants' understanding and skills in preparing work plans that focus on goals and measurable results. The training participants consisted of school principals, teachers and school committee members from Polman Regency, West Sulawesi. Training is carried out by identifying potential obstacles in developing work plans, including differences in knowledge levels, limited resources, and collaboration challenges between related parties. Through a participatory and interactive approach, participants are invited to engage in discussions, case studies and practical exercises to overcome these obstacles. The impact of this training is increasing participants' understanding of the importance of work plans as a strategic tool in educational management, as well as mastering practical skills in developing comprehensive and measurable work plans. Collaboration among participants is also enhanced to ensure active participation and shared responsibility in implementing the work plan. It is hoped that this training will have a positive impact on improving the quality of education and performance of schools/madrasahs in Polman Regency. The experiences and lessons learned from this training can also become the basis for developing similar activities in the future

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is disrupting traditional education and forcing educators to turn to distance and online learning. This research examines the effectiveness of Wordwall, an interactive platform, in increasing student engagement in Social Studies Education courses at the University of West Sulawesi. The research method used is qualitative with observation and interview techniques. Data were collected from eight students of the Elementary School Teacher Education study program who were selected based on their engagement in class, previous experience with online learning, and willingness to participate. The results showed that the use of Wordwall significantly increased students' engagement and motivation. Interactive features such as Quiz, Match Up, and Random Wheel help to create more interesting and varied learning activities. It is recommended that educators use Wordwall features more frequently, conduct training to improve skills in using this platform, and utilize the analysis feature to provide more specific and timely feedback. The integration of Wordwall in learning can create a more dynamic and engaging learning experience, thus helping students achieve better learning outcomes. This research provides important insights into how interactive technologies can be effectively used in higher education to improve student participation and learning outcomes.
