Abstract

In today's digital era, online shopping behavior among Gen Z is increasing, particularly in purchasing beauty products through e-commerce platforms. However, despite high purchase rates, consumer loyalty to a single brand remains low because they easily switch to other brands. This study aims to analyze the influence of satisfaction and user experience on consumer loyalty, and to evaluate the role of trust as a bridging factor in this relationship. The study was conducted among Gen Z consumers in Tangerang Regency who had purchased beauty products through e-commerce platforms in the past six months. The results indicate that satisfaction and user experience play a significant role in building trust, which ultimately drives consumer loyalty. These findings emphasize the importance of building trust through a pleasant and satisfying shopping experience to create long-term relationships between consumers and online beauty brands.

Abstract

In recent years, online shopping activities in the fashion sector have shown a significant increase. This shift has been further accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which encouraged consumers to move from conventional shopping to e-commerce platforms that are considered more practical, safe, and accessible. The transformation of consumption patterns has strengthened the transition toward digital shopping, particularly for fashion products. This study aims to examine the influence of shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, and hedonic orientation on impulsive buying behavior. Furthermore, it investigates the mediating role of impulsive buying in enhancing the intention to use e-commerce. A quantitative survey method was employed, with data analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The sample consisted of 130 respondents residing in Tangerang Regency who actively purchase fashion items through Shopee. The findings reveal that shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, and hedonic orientation have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying behavior. Moreover, impulsive buying is proven to mediate the relationship between these three variables and the intention to use e-commerce. These results highlight the importance of emotional factors and digital lifestyles as the main drivers of young consumers’ purchasing behavior and provide strategic insights for e-commerce platforms and the fashion industry in designing more effective and emotionally driven marketing strategies.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of market orientation and digital marketing on the performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), considering the role of competitive advantage as a factor that strengthens that relationship. The study was conducted on SMEs located in Tangerang Regency, involving 140 business actors as main respondents. The results indicate that market orientation has a positive impact on competitive advantage, and digital marketing also positively affects competitive advantage. Furthermore, market orientation positively influences the performance of SMEs, while digital marketing has a positive effect on the performance of SMEs. Competitive advantage can mediate the influence of market orientation on the performance of SMEs. Additionally, competitive advantage can mediate the influence of digital marketing on the performance of SMEs. Thus, all relationships studied in this research show results that are consistent with initial assumptions and provide a positive impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas tingkat penagihan dan perputaran piutang dagang yang dikelola sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah piutang tak tertagih pada PT. Borneo Mitra Makmur di Samarinda. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Perputaran Piutang dengan Rasio Receivables Turn Over (RTO), Jumlah Hari Rata-rata Pengumpulan Piutang menggunakan Average Collections Period (ACP), Rasio Penagihan, dan Rasio Tunggakan. Pengujian piutang dilakukan berdasarkan data pengelolaan piutang perusahaan selama empat tahun, yaitu dari tahun 2012-2015. Berdasarkan  hasil  penelitian,  menunjukkan  bahwa  tingkat  perputaran  piutang  PT. Borneo Mitra Makmur masih kurang dari standar rasio rata-rata perusahaan yaitu 12 kali sehingga sistem penagihan yang dilakukan oleh manajemen dianggap tidak berhasil. Jumlah hari rata-rata pengumpulan piutang perusahaan juga melebihi dari batas waktu pembayaran 30 hari karena tidak sedikit pelanggan yang membayar tidak tepat waktu. Rasio Tunggakan mengalami kenaikan tiap tahunnya dan dapat merugikan perusahaan karena dana yang seharusnya kembali berputar menjadi kas tetap tertanam dalam piutang. Hal ini disebabkan karena  kebijakan  yang  diberikan  perusahaan  terlalu  longgar  terhadap  pelanggan  dalam melunasi hutangnya dan kurangnya sikap konsisten dalam menjalankan sistem atau prosedur penjualan kredit. Dari keseluruhan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perputaran piutang dagang yang dikelola oleh PT. Borneo Mitra Makmur belum berjalan secara efektif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Rasio Likuiditas yang diproksikan oleh Working to Capital Total Assets, Leverage yang  diproksikan oleh Debt Equity Ratio dan Aktivitas diproksikan oleh Total Asset Turnover terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang konsumsi periode 2012-2016. Alasan pemilihan perusahaan manufaktur pada sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dikarenakan sektor barang konsumsi merupakan sektor yang memiliki pertumbuhan produksi yang tinggi.Dan dipilih sebanyak 10 perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia sebagai sampel melalui Purposive Sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Regresi linier Berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pengujian hipotesis menggunakan kelayakan model (uji F) dikatakan layak untuk mengukur variabel independen yaitu Working to Capital Total Asset, Debt Equity Ratio dan Total Asset Turnover  terhadap variabel dependen yaitu Pertumbuhan Laba. Sedangkan hasil uji t variabel Working to Capital Total Asset memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Sementara itu variabel Debt Equity Ratio dan Total Asset Turnover tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pertumbuhan Laba.

Abstract

Reading has various benefits in everyday life, especially for teenagers. This study aims to explore the impact of reading novels on adolescents' literacy, creativity, critical thinking and mental health. Through the analysis of data obtained from 12 respondents aged 19-20 years old, results show that 100% of respondents agreed that reading novels can improve their literacy and creativity. The knowledge gained from reading helps teens develop creative thinking and critical thinking skills. The survey results also indicated that 100% of respondents found reading novels helpful in coping with emotions and stress, with genres as diverse as romance, fiction, history and politics. In addition, this study confirms the importance of emotional intelligence in helping adolescents recognize and manage their feelings. This finding is in line with previous research showing that reading interest is positively related to critical thinking and critical reading skills. Overall, the results of this study suggest that reading novels not only improves cognitive skills but also provides significant emotional support for adolescents in facing the challenges of daily life.
